521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅[ANN-ICO]⭐[DECENTRALIZED PLATFORM TO DEMOCRATIZE ISP]⭐[COLLABORATIVE WISP]✅ on: February 03, 2018, 05:46:34 PM
This project needs more impression to the internet, especially on the social network site. They can also advertise on google ad sense, youtube to gain more customers to support the ICO.
Yes.the popularity of project is still not many more.many of people still don't know about the ISP project.so i also recommend you to promote  this project as more as possible so wr can easily get the more investeros.

Actually to promote it is easy only with social media like facebook, twitter, instagram and others, do not forget to always use the hashtag in your post because it will interest people.
'
There are so many ways to promote without social media such as emailing cryptocurrency users with a supportive word to this project.

Social media is critical for public exposure and adoption for sure. Don't know if I'd pay attention to an email. But if I see everyone on social media go crazy I'd probably take at least a look.
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: February 03, 2018, 05:43:31 PM
The price of Eth might even reach 10k by December 2018, those who are able to hold this coin will be richhhhhh then  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Phew that would be quite crazy if ETH alone cracks the one trillion dollar mark. I would take it! Wink

Are you still looking to complete the roadmap you initially posted? How about the Segwit stuff, has that been successfully implemented?
524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Japanese Anonymous Cryptocurrency Koto [Yescrypt][CPU mining][Zcash clone] on: February 01, 2018, 10:19:34 AM
Anyone able to get the mac wallet working? I just downloaded it & when I try to open it, it just closes. (There seems to be a process to it, but it's all in Japanese)

Anyone with a solution here? Same problem on my end. Maybe the dev can check himself?
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOBYTE [GBX] - Masternodes, PoW, Secure, ASIC Resistance, & Decentralized on: February 01, 2018, 10:15:14 AM
Quite a bold claim that you make about your coin. Are you sure that GOBYTE is a better DASH? Dash has a proven track record while your coin is brand new. It'll be a long way to go where Dash is today.
I think you misunderstood. Actually your sentence is wrong.
"GOBYTE is a better DASH" and "to go where Dash is today" don't work together.
Because we are not aiming to be Dash.

Now that you seem to be willing to argue about logic, let's do so:

"Based on Dash, it's an enhanced and further developed version"

That quote stems from your OP. Both terms "enhanced" and "further developed" can only be used together with a reference point. Since the only reference point you provide is "Dash", I assume you were in fact referring to Dash when saying that your version is enhanced and further developed. I might be wrong with my assumption, but that would be the result of you providing insufficient information. You could also mean "enhanced" and "further developed" compared to Applecoin, whereas you made use of Dash as a code base. I doubt you meant that Wink
Enchanted and further developed =/= Going into Dash's direction.

My sentence implies that you are millions of miles away from DASH, and to surpass it you would first have to get where it is. The ridiculous thing is exactly that you say you have already an enhanced and further developed version. Funny enough. Good luck Wink
Again, Enchanted and further developed doesn't mean we go into DASH's direction to surpass it. You can't have a race between a car that is in US and a car that is UK.
All the other coins are enchanted and further developed versions of the Bitcoin, yet they didn't go into the same direction.
Funny.

Talking about different locations while developing globally decentralized and distributed technology is funny. As for your Bitcoin comparison: the most advanced coin out there is Bitcoin, not any other coin. Currencies can't exist without an ecosystem. The ecosystem is an integral part of the technology itself. Bitcoin is the best coin currently in existence. Picking a single feature, "improving" it and calling that coin a better coin is funny.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: January 31, 2018, 10:02:22 AM
LOL, major gains imposed by rich people whom are manipulating the price on all the exchanges. Bitcoin is $300 higher on Bittrex cause there is where they are selling the bitcoin they get on the other exchanges at a cheaper price. Hell I sold mine and will wait until they get done and the price will collapse as always...You can make money today buying on one exchange and transferring to the other. This will not last folks, its manipulation...Btc will go back down....
Just like I explained and now they have dumped. Hopefully they have no more to dump. I hope they lost their butts trying to fool everyone...

Those price differences very often reflect the problems that come with using a more expensive exchange over a cheaper one. Go and try to make use of the arbitrage and most of the time (not always) you'll find out the painful reason why it's not as easy as it looks to profit from a few quick trades on two exchanges.

528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [THE WORLD'S FIRST DAICO] The Abyss - A Next-Generation Game Platform on: January 31, 2018, 09:57:14 AM
The Abyss Token Sale (DAICO) will be officially launched in the U.S., providing its citizens and residents a right to participate.

We are committed to staying compliant with the current regulations governing the issuance of new tokens.

Upon advice of our attorneys, we decided to proceed with the sale in the U.S. to accredited investors only under Regulation D of the Securities Act of 1933 and to non-U.S. persons under Regulation S.

This means that each U.S. contributor participating in The Abyss Token Sale (DAICO) will need to pass the accredited investor verification process (KYC) as required by the U.S. law.

This will make our Token Sale (DAICO) globally available, with no regional restrictions anymore.

Will keep you informed on the issue via our Telegram channels and social media!

Stay tuned!
if it's a american project which from american?
I think it's ugly in ICO market which was need KYC and don't allowed the american and Chinese to join.'
it's pretty unfair for us.

But the problem is not the people behind the projects, it's your governments that choose to "protect" you.
Right, but their "government" that choose to protect them is not a problem Grin In my opinion, these rules and regulations are also for the sake of the majority and they also study it first well before implementing. And if we do not have any hidden bad or illegal activities, then we should not fear and adhere to modern methods to crypto.

"Protection" is always a double-edged sword because the intention of that protection could be to keep citizens under control and in fact protect the superior position of authorities / elites. I agree that it is right to take care of citizens, too, but we all know that government doesn't always get things right. In fact, the US government has probably caused more harm than good in recent times. And even if that is an exaggeration, they have definitely done a lot of veeeery bad things ( like so many other governments). As Antonopoulos said it: let people make mistakes and learn from it rather than protect them and keep them unexperienced and uneducated.

I’m a very big fan of Verge. In Verge we trust.

I was alike you a week ago and trusted in Verge but now... Maybe I'm too skeptical but something tell me it's something wrong with Verge and its devs promises...

Nothing wrong with XVG, devs are working, Verge is rising day by day. Ups & Downs will be there with every Cryptocurrency...... Smiley
I don't know why many people does not believe in XVG, I think it has demonstrated that is an strong coin Do not loose your faith this coin will be huge  Wink

ppl trying to affect the value/price.   some are subtle, some arent. Smiley

Yes you can clearly see whales trying to make good money out XVG but sometimes they loose control and the coin go up and they loose some money !

its not whales.  its smaller ppl most often.  thats the funny part.

'whales' dont need to post Neg/pos.

Most people here probably don't even know what a real whale's net worth in crypto is. We are not talking about people with a million dollars. Given the overall market cap of crypto, a whale is probably worth $100 million at the very least.

Well,  i didnt know what a real whales net worth is...     and that means I am Def not one of them. lol.

I guess im a Minnow.   (but i have affected a few coin markets with my fast tail movements!) lol

Well, maybe you have been a whale in small market cap coins Wink I was just referring to the overall crypto market. You are certainly not a whale with $1 million in the whole market, but you might be in some smaller submarkets.
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Seele is exploring the new peak of blockchain 4.0! on: January 30, 2018, 10:02:46 AM
Why we are Blockchain 4.0?

1. Several features of 3.0, faster consensus and transaction confirmation, high concurrency, cross-chain, better governance mechanisms, and so on, which we all have;

2. On this basis, we have some highlights, we propose the fundamental protocol stacks for Value Internet and heterogeneous forest network, to connect and communicate with the chains of ourselves, Bitcoin, Ethereum and other blockchain systems; In addition, we propose neural consensus algorithm, the higher the degree of participation, the faster the consensus convergence is reached.

3.Our governance mechanism is innovative, take into account the efficiency and fairness, co-existence of various consensus algorithms, various token systems and decentralized exchange rate mechanism.

4.Seele provides a complete ecosystem of bottom-up technologies, architecture and top-level applications, enabling all types of resources worldwide to trust each other for greater information exchange and business collaboration and for enabling more efficient society.

I am not saying that what you write isn't worth being tagged blockchain 4.0. I was rather asking whether you have some tangible technology available and functioning by now or whether most of the stuff you propose still exists on paper only?

533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Fire Lotto - International blockchain LOTTERY on: January 30, 2018, 09:51:58 AM
What do you think about such design of www.firelotto.com ?

And you hired a new designer?
I think you need to invest in design. Your options are now quite high. And the design is very important for development at the international level. Your design that now - won't tell me what the lottery is based on the blockchain. So your design is not a trend, look at recent projects and you will understand what I mean.

Design depends alot on the market. Every market has its own taste. Thus we will integrate our lottery to different gambling markets providers so they make a style appropriate for the country where they operate
You do not think that I argue with you, I don't need it, I just Express my opinion, and how it relates - it is up to you, I would like to highlight that in your design lacks the blockchain subjects. From my point of view, design have to say that it is a lottery based on the blockchain. I'm on your designs see only the lottery. Just a lottery not cling me.

Thank you for your opinion! We will take it into account!

Nice to hear that You are interested in the views of ordinary investors. By the way, in Google search you still are not first and even not the second. Website promotion it is advisable to do with the help of experienced SEO specialists. Maybe you need another one.

As far as I understand SEO, to bring the site to the top requires a huge amount of time (months, and even a year) And the project is completely new, so we will necessarily overtake them Cheesy

SEO is by far not only about time. There are several technical options to push SEO up. I am not an expert but I know that quite a lot can be achieved within even a short period of time.

I have been suggesting such a fundraising model in the past and now it's finally becoming reality. I think it's much better for both sides: investors have some control over their funds and the teams have a great incentive to deliver on their promises. Win-win for sure! Great to see you guys making the first step towards a better fundraising environment!
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Seele is exploring the new peak of blockchain 4.0! on: January 25, 2018, 09:03:49 AM
Is this still an idea that is currently being research or have you made any considerable progress that is worth mentioning yet? For now it is of course quite easy to tag your concept with the term "blockchain 4.0", but I guess it remains to be seen whether you can actually deliver superior tech or not.
538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SmartValley – decentralized expert community for ICO projects on: January 25, 2018, 08:57:58 AM
That makes sense. And the metrics upon which an expert's assessment is evaluated, are they fixed or can they be changed over time? For example, one metric might be the prediction of market cap for a certain ICO at a certain point in time. Can the set of metrics be expanded over time upon request of the network's users?
https://mvp.smartvalley.io/ Try to see the information that is relevant at the moment, in the future, everything will change / tune up obviously.

Ok so I guess over time your concept could deliver very valuable information. The metrics can be improved or adjusted whenever needed? Who would decide which metrics are to be included/changed/removed? Would that happen via voting on the blockchain?

not a whale, more like Bitcoin stablized.

when it dropped and all coins drop...   the crying began in every coins thread lol.

Mostly all the fresh blood in crypto brought in by the promise of huge profits in the digital gold rush. Many of them don't understand how the market works, or how volatile it is. That is why it's important to only invest what you can afford to lose.

Almost at 500 pages!

Yes but I still think that there is an overwhelming amount of people still not involved with crypto. They might push the market even further in 2018. However, the number of projects to pick from will also grow exponentially so it's uncertain how much projects will benefit from fresh money individually. It's definitely good to be among the top cryptos on CMC.

I like your point. I'm hearing that more money will be "coming into crypto" this year from institutions and private citizens. But as you point out, that money will be distributed over many projects, most of which are not really cryptocurrencies but illegal securities. These coins will be unusable for real purchases until the prices stabilize, but the prices may never stabilize. There are many reasons to doubt crypto, but the allure of huge gains will continue drawing people in - just like with Madoff!

I doubt that regulators go for the harsh route and declare all those projects to be selling illegal securities. Tokenization will be a major aspect of over globalization, much like was the case with commodification and financialization. Tokenization won't go away, but it will bring about bad products as was the case with MBS in 2006/07. There will, however, be great products as well and those might fundamentally change the world's economic and societal infrastructure. Let's see what role XVG can play here! Wink
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SmartValley – decentralized expert community for ICO projects on: January 22, 2018, 06:51:10 AM
How does the certification of experts actually work? If they claim that the ICO evaluation happens in a decentralized way but at the same time there is a centralized certification process involved, then it is not 100% decentralized.
What centralized certification process are you talking about?  Huh

Certified experts are supposed to evaluate ICOs. Who provides the certification? Who decides who is an expert and who is not? That's my question.
The statistics of their expertise shows the value of the expert. If you want, you can become an expert. If your assessment of the projects is correct, then you will be certified as an accurate expert.

That makes sense. And the metrics upon which an expert's assessment is evaluated, are they fixed or can they be changed over time? For example, one metric might be the prediction of market cap for a certain ICO at a certain point in time. Can the set of metrics be expanded over time upon request of the network's users?
