521  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My father thinks I'm working in a shop,he didn't know I'm bitcointalking. on: February 25, 2023, 02:52:13 AM
Their generation is different from ours. Some of them are trying to work hard just to earn money; it depends on what kind of environment they have. If your family has grown already into a middle-class to lower-class work, for sure, some of yours want to stick where you can get the money until you survive and some of them into the field of business so they keep into an investment, this time the generation of the millennials are the one who is actively in exploring different things such as this bitcoin things this could be another way of earnings and learnings at the same time. In reality, you cannot push someone who has already designed their workflow.
He's using the quote work smart not hard , wrong in this situation, if you have finish school and only do bitcointalk campaign, you let your parents down, because even if you are earning in bitcointalk, you should have take also, taken day jobs, since you can do bitcoin at night, in this example you are being lazy, at the same time lying to your parents at the same time, you are forgetting something one source of income, is not a good idea, what happen if in one situation, you are unable to do campaigns, in digital world more work or source of income is better than having one, I'm not saying your 100% wrong but having multiple source of income is better.
522  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Program Done With Students on: February 21, 2023, 01:21:55 PM
It was a great events today, my team and went to one of the university in my state and we're given the privilege to talk to students campaigning for young graduates to have other financial career outside their fields of studies and it was a huge success.
The university offers us the access hall, we talk with VC on the needs for cryptosystem to be introduced to students because most of the people who have graduated for long now could not get a payable jobs to do, government do not provides enough jobs opportunities for citizens and graduates become criminals after school instead of having a career to fall into. The vice chancellor understood our facts and give the concepts to go ahead and talk with the students, though we formally draft an official letter that make them to invite us.

Some of the challenges we encounter was;
* issues of mobility
* issues of profounded questioning by students
* issues of meeting with the school management (VC and others)
* security of capital

Questions we attend to include;
* what's bitcoion all about?
* What if one loss your wallet address?
* What is assurance guarantee for students over their capital?
* What do students stands to gain?
* When is the right time to invest?
* How long will the system last?
* can it be compare to Ponzi Scheme?
* How do we create our accounts?
* Which sites or Apps is best recommended?

We answer most of the questions but most students are familiar already with the cryptosystem but our time with them gives them more understanding. It was a huge success, we create many accounts on binances and others. To God be the glory.

It seems that this is all about investment, its better for them to know about blockchain technology and how it works, since there are lots of guides on how to in investing in to crypto currencies, but also great effort to your team introducing to them regarding bitcoin, as expected some of them knows bitcoin, and there might be 50% of those attendies are into crypto already.

I took out my mobile phone today and tried to clean up some space from the storage so that I could use it for movie purposes. I slid in my old telegram, which I used for airdrop back then, and with a network connection on it, a message popped in immediately.
Click on the link and message the said user, who sent me a link to join and create an account, which I did since I don't have anything valuable or intend to use the phone for anything serious.
registered with a fake email, which was a success. No confirmation code was sent, though it was an invalid email, and the page was sent to the user.
And I was asked to make a deposit and start earning 5% of my deposited amount every 24 hours.
Link to the site, report to save newbies.
Code:
https://5010.org/#/pages/mine/register?invite=6UG678
This kind of scam, or getting infected with a link being click are dangerous, and i know there are lots of post being made to warn, newbies to never talk or even message them, because they are confuse or anything, once a message ask for a deposit, that's shady, and should be block, since there are nearly transaction, and in the sense that its unknown, you should ignore it, sometimes people gets hack , scam because they are curious.
524  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you manage risk in crypto currency on: February 18, 2023, 01:26:27 AM
Please I want to know the risk management in cryptocurrency an how to calculate them for both investor and trader.
I just consider three things to manage the risk in crypto:
  • Never spend money in crypto that is for your family, bills, and monthly expenses
  • A profit is a profit small or big, always take profit
  • Never gamble everything always have some extra, for other coins
These things might be a little straight forward but this will help you a lot in the future, and will not put your love once at risk.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful Many New Tokens on Coinmarketcap are on: February 15, 2023, 02:23:06 AM
I noticed that Recently CoinMarketCap website has been adding new Tokens without verifying the Token team, goals, and if it's legit.
Most of these currencies collapse during the first weeks of its launch.
i Remember that the website used to check every Token before publishing it to the public.
Has anyone noticed that as well?
I think they don't just add a coin if they see it, they are still some things to consider before being listed in coinmarketcap
here is what I see while looking :

528  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Avoid altcoins and shitcoins because they cannot be stored personally. on: February 14, 2023, 12:55:38 PM
I'm a newbie who joined this forum to learn more about the performance of cryptocurrencies as investments, particularly the role played by the Bitcoin blackchain in other cryptocurrencies' strong security. being a member of this forum for some time and reading the forum to learn it thoroughly. I discovered a lot of new information, particularly in areas of decentralized and centralized exchange. However, that is not the main reason I decided to write this brief article.

When they keep telling us, especially newcomers, to avoid altcoins and stick with Bitcoin, it's all about the difference between decentralized and centralized exchanges.

As a newcomer, I assumed that altcoins could also be stored in non-custodial wallets, but I later discovered that only Bitcoin could be stored in non-custodial wallets such as electrum, Exodus, and the Ledger Nano X. If we can't store our coins in a non-custodial wallet where we have full control over them, why should we buy other coins or tokens where we don't have full control just because exchanges give us half power over our investments? So, if you own other coins or tokens, you don't have much control over your crypto investment because exchanges can bring any laws that may affect you in the future or even steal it.

I can't give advice because I'm not knowledgeable enough to give it to a newbie, but with this little write up, I'd like to advise my followers newbies to stay away from all other coins and tokens except Bitcoin, and if anyone is holding Bitcoin in exchanges, he/she should try to move it out of exchanges for proper storage.
When they said that stay away from shitcoins, it means that never invest money on coins that has no usecase or just pop up coins in the market claiming they are the next bitcoin.
They are not saying all the coins are not safe, they just wan't you to be more curious of what its uses in the blockchain, personally avoid coins, who are contract address are controlled or not lock, although they can unlock it if they want, also other altcoins can be stored like ethereum, FTM, who has their own chain.

530  Other / Meta / Re: What's AI Written Post? on: February 14, 2023, 08:54:20 AM
Using AI will not help improve your writing and even knowledge, I imagine writing something with you having no knowledge about it, just the AI,
one of the main goals of the forum is to learn from others, by interacting with them, that's plain laziness and no interest in learning in the forum if you use AI.
Yes, it is easy but nonsense, because it's against the rule and your account will be banned for sure.
531  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't have high expectations in the crypto world. on: February 12, 2023, 03:09:55 AM
Expectation should be minimize, and the goal should be the bigger picture that we wan't, what should we have to get that is the proper tool, and research, those people who have lots of money, who don't do some research end up being broke, while those people who don't have lots of funds but , take time to do some research turns out to be richer, than them, so the key diffrence is the research and a guide from those we trust.
532  Other / Off-topic / Re: Don't imitate others; do what works for you. on: February 08, 2023, 03:19:02 PM
It is normal to feel good, motivated, and inspired when people share their success stories about what they did to achieve success, but what's bad is trying to imitate them because you think you can achieve quick success in the same way. Everybody has what they are good at and what works for them because they have devoted time and years to making themselves better and acquiring the best knowledge, skill, and profession that have made them excel at what they do.

It is good to be self-reliant, study yourself, know what you are good at, and improve yourself in that area. Everyone who is successful in business has sacrificed time and spent years building themselves and their businesses. Anyone who is successful in Bitcoin (crypto) has spent time learning, studying, and acquiring more knowledge about it. keeping themselves updated with revolutions and frequent adjustment to improve themselves and achieve success in Bitcoin investment.

I know of a successful pharmacist in my area who owns a big pharmacy. All of a sudden, he decided to go into politics and contest for a political position because of his friend, who was an ex-president that he could attain a lot of wealth when it was still his tenure. So unfortunate for the pharmacist; he used all his savings, mortgaged his shop, and used all the funds to run his campaign, but luck ran against him as he lost the election. After which, he started from scratch again.

The guy imitated his friend, thinking he could win and acquire more wealth than he had, but he was wrong. He was really doing well in his field; some of his other friends convinced him not to contest because he had no concrete knowledge about politics, but he refused to listen.

I think it's good to do what works best for you and not to imitate others. just my opinion, though.
I think the best way is to do things where you are good at, so if we are in crypto currency there is no such thing as good when first start, we are all like babies from the start, we all learn in the process, and look at others who are years in crypto as an idol, but, we just need them as a model, and not do what they are currently doing because its way advance, small steps are still the best way to go to the top, not rush, because as we make mistake in crypto we learn our lesson, life in crypto is a bit different, from our real jobs.
533  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Does it Mean to DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH(DYOR)? on: February 08, 2023, 01:11:02 PM
For me dyor, will also lead you to post, or research of someone, since you will come accross of vlogs of an influencers, and articles, for me Dyor is that, instead of asking your friends or someone in the forum, like spoon feed to you, you have to work to find those information in the internet since, its already there you just have to apply it, and learn from it, since sometimes it works and sometimes it will not, i did a lot of research before, but as i go along the way its still a trial and error,

535  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there best way to seek people's attention on bitcoin? on: February 02, 2023, 10:19:41 AM
You are yet to invest in bitcoin, so how do you explain to people how it is purchased, security and why it save to use than fiat. All these can be preached or thought to someone when you have a personal experience. So you first need to invest before spreading its adoption. Let it start with you.

Then you could go on and preach to them about the experience you have gotten from it.
Just want to add with this reply to OP post, if you preach with less information you wont be able to convince them to invest or to dip their hand's on bitcoin, also you could be labeled scammer, and people this days are very alert, since there are lots of people spreading fake information,
OP needs to learn first, or find a person that is well informed with bitcoin, or already in the industry for a long time, unlike him, that will be more acceptable to those who will see or hear from them.
536  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto YouTubers are all financial advisors on: February 02, 2023, 06:06:07 AM
If someone is not a financial advisor and still go live on Youtube or Twitch to talk about how they make money investing in a project or two what does that make them?

Aren't they supposed to keep their financial advice to themselves if they don't want to be a financial advisor? Yeah, I think the perfect way to stay away from been a financial advisor is to keep your ideas to yourself, don't say a word about it.

Oh, I almost forget, it pays to be a YouTuber, you need a niche to talk about per se, and it's very easy to talk about a project even if they are going to ruin your life, the secret behind this people is you, the only ways crypto YouTuber makes money is shilling their crypto bags and waiting for new buyers, it's two ways to make money for them, YOUTUBE and CRYPTO BAG..

This are some of the reason why they are flexing those income:
They are after the views, and subscription, here is the thing, if you go live today, only few or none will view you, why? because there is nothing for you to flex, unlike this youtubers they have cars, and expensive gadgets to show, with that their following grew, and they can indorse something out of nowhere and many will get or buy those things , OP is correct, for example in crypto before they go live and show you a coin, they already bought massive part of the token, once their followers bought after him, he will dump those, coin and all his followers will be left behind, and he will just make up stories, etc., that's the reality, a bit of advice for newbies, don't just listen to those people have your own decision and findings before jumping to a coin.
537  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto child savings account on: February 02, 2023, 02:17:52 AM
This is a very good idea, its a bit risky since the price goes up and down all the time, but once bitcoin and other cryptocurrency will be accept by all public, it will be worth millions of dollars that depends on the coin you'll be investing in, few pointers:
  • Don't invest on shitcoins
  • Invest on top 10 coins in the market, you can see them in coinmarketcap
  • Since its for the future of your children, study well before putting the money  for less risk
  • put 50/50 on real-world asset, and digital assets, its okay to gamble but put some security at the end
Hope this help welcome to crypto/digital world.
538  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: are all beginners like that? on: February 01, 2023, 12:17:32 PM
in this modern era which is growing rapidly day by day, many things have been created and developed, from mobile phones, internet, vehicles, medical devices and even in terms of finance/means of payment.
an example of one of them is the creation of bitcoin and crypto, which has become a very extraordinary phenomenon in the last ten years.
now many people are flocking to invest in bitcoin and crypto, from the many investors who have sprung up, many motives have sprung up too,

Of course, no one knows what motivates someone to jump in and participate in investing in crypto, everyone has a reason, and everyone has the original intention in their heart.
but there are some people who do research on the intentions of novice investors in investing in crypto

Quote
Most newcomers ‘play’ with crypto with the aim of getting rich quick, not interested in the financial revolution, let alone blockchain technology.

is it really like that in reality? is it normally like that? and I'd really like your opinion.

these are just questions that I want to know and want to understand, and want to collect various opinions from different people, about their views.
There is no such thing as quick way to being rich in crypto currency, we maybe see other people getting rich for example a few months after getting into crypto, the bad things about people who are quick to judge others is being we don't see their hustles at the back, we only see what is in front, but maybe they attain where they are because they are not sleeping at night, while others are sleeping they are still awake and searching, then after few months they hit the jackpot, we also cannot judge a person to be a new comers maybe he already have an idea and just testing if they are making the right moves.

540  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: do not invest in crypto from loans. on: January 31, 2023, 03:06:29 AM
Investing have ups and downs, in the real world, investors also borrowed money, from banks and people, as their capital for investment and business, and i think there is no difference, in digital world, I think the only question is how long until you get the profit or tolerate the hodl mentality, and there is always two result from this, but what like other said, spend what are you willing to lose, lenders will lend you money if they see you, as a good payer and check your background, so if they see that you can afford to pay, they will give you the money you need, wise investing should always be your priority and taking profits right there in then.
