If you say the team with the best midfield will attain victory, then obviously Nigeria has a better midfield than Cameroon. I quite agree with you but we are just hopeful that they are back to winning ways, because a lot has been said concerning their inconsistency, Manchester city and Liverpool are a different kettle of fish all together, because for arsenal to get through Manchester city and all the way to the top wouldn't be an easy task. Currently Arsenal is leading the match with a score of Arsenal 3 - Crystal Palace, Arsenal's third goal was scored by Leandro Trossard. I think I have to take back my previous words about Crystal Palace who will provide resistance by at least scoring 1 goal, they're like losers at Emirates Stadium.
The current score gap seems to be a cover that Arsenal will get 3 points at the end of the match and even though Arsenal is now getting closer to Manchester City & Liverpool, we have to remember that both teams still have a 1 match deficit.
Crystal Palace has lost already, with the looks of things and Arsenal is in more control of the pace and possession. I like the fact Trossad could score to seal the win, although with few minutes to go, I doubt Crystal palace could do much. If they have more chances to add up to the goal margin, they should because they need more goal difference to finish strong incase there is tie in point. There is no any miracle that crystal palace can perform now to be able to win the match, Arsenal take incharge of everything, they dominant ball possession with 61%, am really excited to Arsenal smiling again by win with many goals, Arsenal finishing with five goals to nothing is actually a good turn back for them I will be happy seeing them implementing this performance in the next matches. Arsenal experienced an improvement compared to their performance in the first half. Their rhythm of play in the second half looked quite good and it looked like they were really dominating the game. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace, although they had several chances, it was a shame they didn't have a good finishing touch. What I see is that their enthusiasm and efforts are slackening, and I think the 2 goals from Arsenal in the first half were the cause. In the final minutes, Crystal Palace really had a nightmare. Is so good to see arsenal back to their winning ways, we hope they maintain the tempo because at this stage of the competition, inconsistency will cost them a lot. Arsenal really tried to mystified crystal palace, 5-0 is definitely a scoreline crystal palace won't forget in a long run. However I feel arsenal players understood the times and what's required from them, they controlled the entire midfield and where consistent with their attacks. the two goals they scored that first half also gave them some leverage to continue the dominance and score more goals during the second half. |
