521  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does this Qualifies you to give non-professional or semi-professional financial on: January 08, 2024, 01:29:05 AM
keeping Bitcoin does not make you an expert in Bitcoin. Just like winning the lottery, it does not make you a person with deep knowledge of money or you can start a successful project, unlike someone starting to build his wealth from scratch. Do not provide advice on a topic if you do not understand its dimensions, especially if it is investment advice to someone who may lose his savings because of your advice. Bitcoin as an investment is a high-risk investment, and without realizing the dimensions associated with it, it is better for it to be a long-term investment and not to expect to be rich just by investing a small amount.
522  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Step you have to take before venturing into the market on: January 08, 2024, 01:21:44 AM
These steps are supposed to end with a simple answer: Do you want to trade or not, thus reducing the risks, but they will not benefit you much since you have made up your mind and want to trade, but they remind you of the risks of trading. The necessary advice, in my opinion, is to have experience in creating a demo account and experimenting with trading, and I am certain that the results in the medium term will give you a better understanding of what trading is, and then you will have more logical reasons to accept or reject trading based on personal experience and not based on the analyzes of others.
523  Other / Meta / Re: Changes Discussion Behavior in Forum on: January 08, 2024, 12:56:30 AM
I do not see a problem with changing the behavior of users unless they are forced to do something. Once you force someone to do a certain behavior that he does not like here, you will expect that the return from that work will decrease over time.
Campaigns do not force users and may not set minimum limits. Those that do set minimum limits, the campaign manager must verify the degree of activity of the member on that board. If it is a gambling campaign, then the campaign manager must search the account’s past to verify the quality of his posts in the gambling board.
524  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IMPORTANT! Always check your Seed twice. on: January 05, 2024, 11:27:44 AM
Most wallets I've used require you to retype the seed again before you can generate addresses,  if the wallet does not ask you to do that, it is better not to use it. errors in the seeds are unlikely as long as you write the words in the correct order, as the words used are common compared to keeping the private key, which requires that it be created and written digitally, but prevention is better than cure and checking the wallet several times is better than regretting not doing so in the future.
525  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am very interested to work on it on: January 05, 2024, 11:06:35 AM
It seems that you are from Bangladesh. They have a local boad here. You can ask them about the nature of the things that can help you improve your income. Unfortunately, you are young and did not finish university and need a phone. The best thing that the community can help you with is to buy you a new phone, but without learning a new skill, this is the best we can do for you. after you get a phone, learn a new language, especially English, develop your account and try to find work in your area.
526  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Introducing Weff - a platform that saves and returns trading fees on: January 05, 2024, 10:57:15 AM
I did not understand whether a person who already has accounts on Binance BYBIT OKX Bitget is allowed to register on your service, complete KYC or will you register instead of him because most of the famous exchanges prohibit you from having more than one personal account or allowing a third party service to complete KYC on your behalf. earning from referral links is good, but you need a service that brings users referral links on an ongoing basis and clarification of the registration conditions.
527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the high fee affecting the rate of adoption of Bitcoin? on: January 05, 2024, 09:53:38 AM
Investors can tolerate high fees if there is hope that they will decrease soon. They will accept paying higher fees because they already know that the price of Bitcoin will rise and all losses in fees will be reduced. They may try to use alternative solutions such as using altcoin, leaving bitcoin on the exchanges, converting them to low withdrawal altcoin, use of Wtokens, but the continuity of high fees is what threatens future adoption, as it will make those who want to send with Bitcoin think several times and may lead to small companies and emerging projects being reluctant to accept Bitcoin.

Today's fees seem better compared to the average Incoming Transactions with more than 2000 transactions.
528  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Philippine traders need help! We want an exchange with p2p feature like Binance. on: January 05, 2024, 09:44:37 AM
Bypassing the ban using VPNs makes them easily able to close your account and then you cannot complain to anyone, you will be the weaker party.
Most of the time, I access Binance while forgetting to turn off my VPN. The only blocks I get are just restricted trading for some few minutes or hours, with a notification telling me to turn off the VPN for better trading experience.
But you completed KYC and your country is still one of the countries where Binance allows trading? If this is true, then there is no need to use a VPN, but if your country is blocked, then using a VPN will mean that you are trying to bypass TOS restrictions, and when they know this, they will close your account.

So far no exchange's serving our local users who utilize a P2P feature but since there is a vacuum on this service let's see if there's one platform that will come out that will fill Binance's absence.
I suggest to your local board to make the forum a place where you can do P2P trading and communicate with all trusted sellers or buyers. There are already many Philippines here so there is no need for you to wait for a P2P exchange to appear.
529  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Philippine traders need help! We want an exchange with p2p feature like Binance. on: January 04, 2024, 09:40:57 AM
US, India, Philippines and many countries that are starting to restricte access to Binance, so it is better for traders to stay away from leaving their money on that platform. Binance has ease and an excellent interface, but it can be replaced if there is enough demand for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, as As communities grow, the opportunity to find more alternatives becomes available.

What is Binance's positions regarding this? Have they issued a notice to Philippines users that they will stop them from using the platform? If not, then there is no need to worry. The trading will continue only that you will need to bypass the block by using VPNs.
Bypassing the ban using VPNs makes them easily able to close your account and then you cannot complain to anyone, you will be the weaker party.
530  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Master the Art of Crypto Trading with These 5 Simple Tips on: January 04, 2024, 09:34:52 AM
Trading is easy for those who have other investments, and trading is considered an opportunity to enhance their investments in the long term, but it is disastrous for anyone who believes that he can make a quick profit or whenever he wants from trading. Trading, even if creating and executing orders is easy and everyone can do it, is linked to expectation, and the signature is based on good analysis of available news and trying to access news that is not available, and it is a mental effort that may be destructive if you do not know how to deal with it.
531  Economy / Economics / Re: How is it possible to say there is no money in the bank on: January 04, 2024, 09:18:49 AM
Is the only method of payment in your country cash? The bank can say that there is no money (cash) because the cash cycle requires a balance between deposits and withdrawals, but not accepting any service through bank payment methods means the weakness of the central bank’s policy, even if the bank does not contain cash. You must be able to make bank transfers to hospitals, schools, universities, and markets easily, and you must be able to withdraw from other branches easily. As for the bankruptcy of banks, it may happen, and then the government intervenes to guarantee the depositors’ money and withdraw and sell the bank’s assets to recover part of the investors’ money.
532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inverse Cramer Strikes Again on: January 04, 2024, 09:07:05 AM
The press is creative in creating news from things that may not seem related to each other. Jim Cramer may be making some wrong analyzes or intentionally saying some rumors that lead to smoothing the market, but he does not have the influence of people who have influenced the altcoin market, such as Elon Musk, and his influence is no more than Peter Schiff and the memes that are made around him.
533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today I learned I'm part of a BTC cult: The Bitcoin Carnivores on: January 04, 2024, 08:39:32 AM
If only eating meat makes you healthy, then a varied health system that includes low carbohydrates and exercise will make your body more resistant to disease and sustainable, instead of a healthy diet that may make you sick after several years.
Blindly biasing towards Bitcoin without thinking makes it a sect rather than a technology that can offer something new, and when something becomes like a sect or a cult, it is sacred and making changes to the system is more difficult, and it is something that will destroy Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a technology that needs updating, and it is not perfect, but continuous updating makes it valuable.
534  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin mining’s comeback in China on: January 04, 2024, 08:24:17 AM
...
There are many miners that can run underground even without public knowledge. You can easily export the machine to North Europe and run a farm, because hashpower is global. The bans are cosmetic.
Would you risk illegal, easy-to-detect, energy-guzzling and noisy activity for the potential profits? If you do, many people will not risk it, so since mining was banned in China, miners have moved to other countries. There may be a percentage of mining in China, but the main mining basins, which control a good percentage of hashrate, are outside China.
percentages here https://mempool.space/graphs/mining/pools and search for pools locations.
535  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Most safe wallet for mobile wallet on: January 04, 2024, 08:08:34 AM
Android is open source and IOS is closed source but its not really going to make any difference.

We can say the same argument for Windows and Linux. It is true that the iOS eco system is better, but the open source system wins.

the price of Android phones is cheaper and you cant buy a new iPhone (+$500) or customize your old one only to be a bitcoin wallet, while this can be done with Android phones at a price lower than $100 or purchase an open source hardware wallet such as Passport.

Both these wallets are only available for Android.
Yes, because my suggestions go in the direction of choosing an open source phone.

Electrum and Blue wallets are good for storing small amounts of BTC on mobile and I am an Android user and using Electrum for years now.
Electrum is a good wallet but their features on Android are much less than on desktop
536  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger, mandatory firmware update!? on: January 03, 2024, 07:07:57 AM
I expect that the next step will be a warning about a necessary and urgent security update. Here, you are forced to update the firmware whether you like it or not. Therefore, not updating the firmware is temporary, and you must consider alternatives to Ledger.
For now, since BSC fees are low, send these tokens to another wallet, swap them and send them back to BSC's Ledger address new HW address.

thanks Pmalek
537  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Crypto Developming for Beginner on: January 03, 2024, 07:01:16 AM
Blockchain development is a word that mostly means how to create smart contracts and the interactions between them to develop DEXs, tokens, NFTs, WEB3 and other terms, but I believe that learning the basics while mastering a programming language would be better.
If this is your direction, you can start with

https://github.com/smartcontractkit/full-blockchain-solidity-course-py
https://github.com/smartcontractkit/full-blockchain-solidity-course-js

Since you are an application developer, I suggest that you know how Bitcoin works and the basic codes associated with that, better than learning Solidity Assembly
538  Economy / Economics / Re: How influential is crypto worldwide? on: January 03, 2024, 06:44:23 AM

Coinweb says that the total number of crypto wallets worldwide is 84.02 million,  a significant portion of users from Europe and the U.S. That makes for 420+ million crypto users.

Quite a lot.
We cannot know the total number of Bitcoin users because anyone can generate thousands of addresses, the closest number we can get is from collecting data from several CEXs, and it does not represent the real number of all users, but we can say that it represents the minimum number of users.

We can easily know the total number of Bitcoin addresses that have a balance, and then we can describe it as the total number of users, which is equal to about 50 million addresses. You can get real-time data for the total number of addresses from here http://addresses.loyce.club/?C=M; O=D

We have a total approximate number of users that does not exceed 50 million users, and the minimum number is the number of users who have completed the identity verification procedure in CEXs.

I can now estimate the number of cryptocurrency users between 5 million to 70 million, and the number may reach a little more than 50 million, but definitely not 420+ million crypto users.
539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im looking for funded traders to trade with my capital on: January 03, 2024, 06:14:59 AM
I do know how to trade Im looking for trader who will learn how to trade and make profit with my funds.
If you know how to trade and have the funds, then whats the problem? Trade by yourself.
It is clear that Parklane777 is looking for someone who has a KYC account and wants to use his account, but instead of asking him to sell the account, he asks him to use the account according to his instructions.

I think that such services violate the terms of use and you need someone who trusts you. If you find this person, he may give you the API addresses for his account where you can deposit and trade while restricting the withdrawal condition so that you must ask him to do this manually.
You can find such a service, but you need to blindly trust the person who owns the account.

Parklane777 use instant exchanges and DEXs. They allow you to do this easily.
540  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Most safe wallet for mobile wallet on: January 03, 2024, 05:57:53 AM
Before that, you need to either buy a new phone (then the price of Hardware Wallet as Passport will be acceptable) or format your phone, make sure that OS is open source, that there is no root or installed apps, use the device to browse trusted sites only, making calls and avoid downloading any new apps. If you can, Samourai Wallet, blue wallet, and electrum are all suitable options.
