521 Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN IS NOT BUBBLE!! on: June 23, 2018, 05:15:12 PM
If bitcoin a buble, rockerfeller funds and soros funds won't to look on cryptomarket. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is new kind investment instrument and many firm aware that and they just waiting government issuing regulation.
A lot of people are mistaking the characteristics with some of the price action that has taken place in the past. A bubble would not have any value but bitcoin does.

The only thing that was a bubble in a short amount of time was the price which was brought about by FOMO and got driven up which I would say as a result of manipulation to give those who are looking for a way to get rich quick the wrong picture, and that made the price at that point a bubble, but in the long run, it is still going to be sustainable as it tries to find a bottom.
522 Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: June 23, 2018, 02:43:52 PM
I have been gambling since a young lad. I can attest that every time I gamble with a shitty attitude I always lose.

This week I played with a positive outlook and won 450k from bitdice and fortunejack.

Proof? Here,

[im g]https://i.imgur.com/Zd8retd.png[/img]

Also, NEVER EVER gamble with a bad luck person/friend next to you or even on the same casino or even online ! The bad mojo will spread to you.
Just saw your story today on both, bitdice and fortunejack and got interested to see your profile. Yes, images are real because your gambling risk and the amount of money you gamble with is just purely amazing.
Does third party person's luck matters? Cheesy
Eish you success but to my mind you are veery, veeery risky.
Good for you that you have just got so lucky and it is better you just accept your luck than assume that it was being positive that led you to getting that much from gambling. Keep calm with such mindset, and you will come back here to tell us how you lost everything to staying positive. I have been there once and I thought I should let you know that.

Sometimes, nature has a way of playing tricks with our minds, and if you are not careful things will so work like in a movie and until you get to relaxed expecting the same outcome before you start realizing you are in deep shit already.
523 Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of popular Betting Strategies on: June 23, 2018, 12:49:55 PM
Thanks for sharing but as an online gambler for how many years. I've tried several strategies when I was new and now i'm just using my own strategy, and it works better than using other strat. It's better to depend on your own guts.
to gamble we do not need to look at a popular strategy. we just need our calculations and style in gambling. so that we can grow effective strategies for ourselves. because each strategy does not necessarily match the game style of each player
People keep talking about strategies in gambling like they are talking about investment strategies.
I am sure if we do all have strategies, the owners of casinos will not even be living large, riding big cars, having bouncers and bodyguards surrounding them as those things are from the money that comes from the gamblers pocket.

Strategies to me are just there to prolong your gambling time for those who may want to have fun and then you can get some luck in winning though, but nothing to rely upon too much.
524 Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling on: June 23, 2018, 12:03:43 PM
we know well that gambling needs money in the start or before play. You do not have to start gambling if you are not involved and experienced in a particular game because losing probability would be more than that of winning. On the other hand you have to start if you have experience of a particular game which means that greater are the chances of winning.
It is normal for losing probability to be more than winning in any form of gambling which is the reason why anyone should always expect that even before gambling anyway and those who do not are the ones who get into the gambling addiction trap in the long run. For traditional casinos, at least even with the losing, you still stand the chance to have some fun in between which you can easily concentrate on so as not to get carried away with the winning and be able to stick with your limit in most cases, which is one thing that is not possible to find in online casinos except for just the anonymity anyway.
525 Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will never join AirDrop programs any more on: June 22, 2018, 03:41:28 PM
Yes, the current airdrop rogue is pretty much, maybe they will not pay you tokens at the end of the campaign and you will take the effort and time on them. I think you should join the bounty would be better.
Most times airdrops usually do not require effort and time compared to bounty since all you may have to do is to share one single post or join their telegram page whatsoever to be a part of it.

But I feel all that really makes no sense since all you get is something insubstantial no matter how free it is or how patient you have to be for it to become something tangible in the long run. Better to use more time on things that end up productive than use less time on things that are not even productive.
526 Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big market crash has started! on: June 22, 2018, 02:47:03 PM
i don't think so. no one can guess about what will happen future. some bad news can effect, or good news same.
The market may play out in anyway and no one is disputing that fact and I can see the OP stated it clearly that unless some bulls decides to pick up the market at this stage, then we have more way to go down than up which is pretty much a very realistic theory to me from what we are having on the charts presently.

As much as we keep hoping for the best, let's also hope for the worst case scenario which we may see it as a possibility towards even $3k if care is not taken but would be a good move to buy anyway.
527 Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is ETH will hit 400$ on: June 22, 2018, 11:23:26 AM
no, because too deep if Bitcoin keeps dropping it could happen Ethereum to it, if up to $ 400 will be many people who buy it and will make the price go up again
The possibility is very much there and I am seeing it more like a lot of people are forgetting the possibility of how the market responds so fast in cases like this. The market so far is in a huge downtrend and anything is definitely possible. We cannot say yet how things would be turning out affirmatively, but it is not like $300 is not even easy for Ethereum to drop to as it is now. So far, the only thing we can do is to wait and see how events will unfold than assuming for the future.

It seem to me that ETH will not fall below $ 450.If you look at the graphs, then at this level he has a strong support.
You can never be sure that it will not fall below $450. It is all depending upon how bitcoin will be performing in coming days. If you remember that bitcoin hit $1200 in 2013 and then fell down to $200 in 2015. Hence anything may possible.
528 Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade Vs HODL on: June 22, 2018, 08:55:15 AM
Optimal desicion is to keep part for long term (hodl) and other part for day trading. Day trading strategy demands to spend some time every day.
And everybody has his own trading/investment strategy.
With day trading, you are taking a huge risk to get the best of the market fluctuation but on the other way round, you really want to know what you are doing so you can at least minimize the risk.

In the case of HODL, you have nothing much to lose than in the short term depending on the period you invest, which to me, with proper learning, you can actually know when to accumulate alongside the whales at dips. I have never been a fan of daytrading since it gives me headaches anyway, but for long term trading, count me in!
529 Economy / Economics / Re: Why we must study Economics at University? on: June 21, 2018, 06:53:23 PM
Most probably in this section are users that are interested mostly in Economics, so I want to know why Economics attracts you?
Studying economics in the university is not all that it takes to succeed in life. The reason why a lot of us come here to the economics section is to have some pretty good discussion on things that pertains economics, most especially since we are more like in the financial space and being able to know what is going on and understand some other things can always help when making decisions. However, all that is just a way to stay updated on things that are ongoing.
530 Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Fiat - this is how I see the future on: June 21, 2018, 05:53:40 PM
don't forget that government can trace your exchange cryptocurrency/fiat so you will have to pay taxes. and if you will work with cryptocurrencies only soon or later they will identify you.
Government can do anything while you are inside their jurisdictions, I personally thinks that crypto can go along side with Fiat as soon as many end users will make a good statement using crytpo from their everyday transactions, Fiat will still dominate the payment system while Bitcoin will help to lessen the delayed, keeping g the transaction anonymous but a friendly interface that everyone will enjoy.
That is what I also feel will happen. I am sure government actually knows cryptocurrency has evolved more than they can easily handle and they will be trying everything in their power to regulate it so as to benefit from it, but at the same time without it affecting fiat.

Obviously, we all know there is no way this market will not get a bad name without some lenient regulations at least, but like you said, fiat even as we have it today will still be mostly used, and then we will have more of a co-existence between fiat and crypto.
531 Economy / Economics / Re: How to cope up with the falling prices? on: June 21, 2018, 05:22:11 PM
There are just couple of question I need some answering from people with enough experience in crypto.

Any particular tips on when to invest token when the prices are low?
And how can one manage to hold the tokens even the prices are bleeding?
Is there a specific time where one can pinpoint the best way to accumulate tokens?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Well, the real concern with the cryptocurrency market is to understand that it can be extremely volatile and sometimes even when you are buying a market at dip, you would still want to understand that there is a possibility of falling lower.

The only advantage for those buying the dip is to know that in anyway, you are still going to end up hitting it big in the long run, but that comes with patience. For starter, you may need to be able to read charts and make use of at least MACD in making good decisions.
532 Economy / Economics / Re: A small village strengthening it's Economy by cryptocurrencies. on: June 21, 2018, 04:47:40 PM
A small japanese village named, Nishiawakura is making their economy much more beneficial with the help of cryptocurrencies by launching a Initial Coin Offering. I think it is a best way to help some small villages to grow up with really good profits and also it might bring the cryptocurrencies some more close to legalisation.

The village is home of approximately 1500 villagers and and they unveiled their plans to launch a regional initial coin offering.
Report by coindesk https://www.coindesk.com/japanese-village-to-launch-nations-first-municipal-ico/

This is a perfect head start and i hope that several such villages can soon adapt this strategy to strengthen their economy
I hope that they at least have something interesting that they're going to do with their ICO instead of just kicking another shitcoin into the market. It's starting to get boring when it seems like every second coin is just some copy-paste under a different name. At least make it something interesting in the sense that it relates to their local industries - meaning forestry, according to the article. It doesn't have to be fancy, just something better than a general token that'll be forgotten about.
That is the idea indeed. Because I really do not see the point of an ICO without having something succinct to do with it. Although, not much detail was given in the article, but in the end, I will actually love to see how this would play out.

This is a bit new to me though, with a small village trying to strengthen its economy with crowd funding, but at the end, it is all about how they intend to manage the funds, what they intend to use it for, the part of the sector in the village they wish to use it to strengthen or at the end like you have mentioned, it won't just be another shit coin or token in the market.
533 Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think will happen in august ? on: June 21, 2018, 03:48:59 PM
I've realized this scheme again after bitcoin almost touch 10k again in may. and i tought it will definitely be back again like this ($6000) and that is real happen now .This is the 7th time the schema i ever felt. Lucky i am not falling for condition for 2nd time .

Now is it a good time time to buy, I have some altcoin like exrnchain, eos, litecoin I think this will boom in august, what do you think ?

I'm not sure that this is the right time to buy it all in. because there is still the possibility of a new record lowest price again.
I prefer trading when prices are starting to rise again for now. its not game anymore.
No one will ever know the right time or not the right time but one thing I know right now is there is a high probability that bitcoin is not done with the downtrend and anyone who is trying to do anything now should be a bit careful with the market and at the same time not expect so much.

Nothing is guaranteed, but this is a good time to start holding at least some of the coins or tokens since they are mostly in their historical bottom. Let's see how the trend is going to be like in a couple of days, then, we may actually see what happens with the market by August.
534 Economy / Speculation / Re: When is bitcoin bouncing back on: June 21, 2018, 11:43:38 AM
We have been experiencing serious downtrend in bitcoin. Some people have been holding bitcoin since alt high $19500 December last year till date $6761 (six months ago).

My question is When are we going to experience pump/bouncing back to previous alt high?
The real concern is that no one knows exactly when bitcoin is going to end up bouncing back but one thing I sure know is that it might take some time before we even end up testing the previous ATH. Some time may end up in weeks or may last up to months also. Like many people here, I am also doubting for new ATH within this year.

The market is so far in a huge downtrend and we still are not sure how low it can get, but the fact remains that the lower it gets, the longer it takes to go back up since a lot of resistances are being formed as it goes lower. Let's just see how everything goes.
535 Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best source to find better ICOs? on: June 20, 2018, 06:09:33 PM
You can't find them easily, there are sites analyzing ICOs but even the best websites can't give you ICOs that will make 2x because it is just a possibility nothing is certain with ICOs now.
It is more like expecting someone to try to tell you what the future holds for any project as that is impossible. The only thing is to do your own due diligence, be sure of what you are investing in, take your time to review every detail of the product and if there is a demo or beta version, see how it can relate to the real world, then invest.

ICO should be more of a long term than a short term for me anyway, which the possibility of x5 or even more can be possible as long as it is a solid project.
536 Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.. on: June 20, 2018, 04:54:40 PM
Bounty become scam if the main project for which you are doing the bounty has been abandoned due to some one or two reasons. With this, i dont blame the manager if he is not part of the team. But if the manager is from the team, then he can be blamed. Although there are projects with scam intentions, most projects are abandoned for financial or legal reasons.
I noticed while reading through the thread that a lot of people do consider a bounty scam because they did not get paid even though the project did not actually meet its cap. The thing is that is one of the risks of trying to do an ICO bounty as most of the time the project ICO may end up successful or not.

Although, it is by checking what is important in the first place with respect to the project future such as product and team that would make the possibility of not being part of a scam there or the ICO not being successful something that would be impossible.
537 Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Technical Analysis - logical explanation - Poll on: June 20, 2018, 01:16:56 PM
TA was made to calculate emotions of average investor. I mean that we are not special. Most of investors buy when price goes up and sell
How do you calculate emotions? I don't think emotion is even a factor to consider in technical analysis. I think you should have used the word pattern instead of emotion. To come up with a good technical analysis you need to use tools like RSI, MACD, Aroon Indicator and more. This tools uses statistics, trends, patterns based on the trading volume and also price movement.
Emotion is way far from it just like you have mentioned. TA is making use of patterns to estimate the possibilities of where a movement can turn out to be and it is always better to see those breakouts or the movement in a way and the volume on such breakout before making a move and without discarding the use of stop loss. I guess a lot of traders who are just starting assume that TA will always work every time without the possibilities of going not as expected, but if it is like that, stop loss would not even have been a thing even for professional traders.
538 Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think that the price is fully manipulated? on: June 20, 2018, 07:31:06 AM
Concerning exchanges closing registrations, that's normal because the exchange platform can't handle infinite members because hosting limited performance etc..They had to close the registrations to expand their capacity of members by upgrading their servers. Thus,it's not really a manipulation from exchanges. However, whales are kind of manipulating the market we've seen this many times now a whale sold his coins and a huge wave of sells followed him.
Most exchanges are whales themselves and I won't be surprised they may have an inside trader who would be doing the manipulations. Things like this should be spotted and not allowed to happen in any market as it affects the free and fair movement of the market based on real demand and supply.

It is obvious that fake signals are being created to mislead traders and investors, bots keep doing their thing based on how they have been programmed for manipulation, and so on.

Due to lack of mass adoption, bitcoin market is still under manipulation. Only when bitcoin marketcap to be hiting multiple trillion dollar levels, we may assume those manipulators will come to a point where they will not have power to move the market direction on their own wishes.
539 Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: There is no such thing safe trading on: June 19, 2018, 07:11:35 PM
The trading word itself represents the risk. So no matter how much experience you have or how good is your mentor you will have every chance to lose. This safe trading word doesn't exist. If you are trading any asset whose value depends on various external and internal factors which you can't control you will never be safe. The thing which matter is you should always be in overall profit no matter how you trade, what you trade...

I bet in financial world everything related to financials carry risk.
Then be it stocks, bonds, currency or commodities or even crypto currencies market, each market has its risk factor.
Which is why, you always got to factor in risks than be it internal or external, while trading in these financial markets.
I have heard several times where new investors or traders most especially in the crypto space usually think that everything will just always be fine when it comes to trading without even understanding what would not be fine and how they should at least find a way to reduce the risk in a way and be safe which most of the time, you can never be 100% safe based on the fact that you are only using stop loss to limit the risk.

Trading is a whole lot than being safe, and the more you know on how to at least play your card well, the better for you.
540 Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best time to take profit in Trading on: June 19, 2018, 06:40:13 PM
The best time to take profit is just when you have already reached your percent of profit, i just sell everytime that i got at leaest a two percent of my initial investment, at least

Well it sounds well that no need to sell it until you think it is best time for you to sell. Profit making has been done so many times in bitcoin, people use to buy at low t hold and then sell high to get the real profit from it. So I think it is not profit making time but we should hold more and more to have safe and high profit, bitcoin potential will be shown very soon but till then we will have to hold and never think about selling at this falling phase, try to buy more.
You have a point but at the same time, the point here is when the best time to sell is ?
Everyone cannot have the same pattern all the time and based on experience and how they perceive the market in terms of signals or trend changing, a lot of traders know when to sell.

All the above, you cannot know the best time to sell unless you are a trader, which is why some people miss good opportunity at the top to sell and start selling eventually when it is about to hit the bottom.
