521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you end up with shit coins? on: April 15, 2019, 04:31:50 AM
I am working on an article about how smart people ended up buying shitcoins – I need some info on why you bought shitcoins (if any). If you choose "other" then can you care to comment on what that other means? Would appreciate if you helped me get an insight!
Thanks in advance.

I think pump and dump scheme can trapping peoples to buying the coins.
Earlier peoples will have a profit by selling it to the newer peoples who want to buy the coins.
But the newest peoples who bought the coin, will have to holding it unless they want to sell it with loss because there is no buyer after pump and dump.
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding multiple altcoins on: April 14, 2019, 03:20:12 PM
Many of us prefer to hold multiple kind of coins. What do you prefer: holding it in a sigle kind of wallet or have it on a different kind of wallet?

Personally, I prefer to store in an opensource multi wallet that support all my preferred coin and even ERC20 token, its the only opensource multiwallet available called Hodler and so far I find it good. Do you think, this is really good idea?

Holding multiple coins is good, it means you diversify your portfolio and you can prevent huge damage in your investment.
About the wallet, maybe i will use several personal wallets to holding multiple coins.
If you want to use single wallet to holding multiple coins, exchange wallet is the best option, but it is not secure because sometimes exchange got hacked.
523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in? on: April 13, 2019, 04:04:55 PM
Hello all,

Probably you've heard the same question every day, but I'm a bit confused...
I've got some money to invest, I'm following some coins from months but the prices doesn't change.
What I mean by ,,the prices doesn't change,, let's give ETH as example in the last 2 months the price was between 92£ and 129£ and I don't know if is a good idea investing... Please change my mind and give me some options and opinions please.

Thank you.

Investing means you use your money in some way, to gain back your money with the profit.
The problem is, cryptocurrency is a quite high risk investment. If you cannot afford to lose it, you cannot use in cryptocurrency.
if you want to investing through buy and sell crypto, maybe you can buying some good coins when the market is in the down trend.
524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are centralized exchanges still dominating the crypto space? on: April 13, 2019, 03:58:32 PM
Ever since Bitcoin launched back in 2009, the rise of centralized exchanges has been inevitable. A few years later, and now the whole crypto market is dominated by centralized exchanges. While there have been many alternatives to the solution (such as decentralized exchanges), people are still performing trades at centralized entities.

Now the real question is why this is happening, since after all, Satoshi intended Bitcoin to be free from middleman or third parties? Depending on an exchange or custodian, greatly defeats the purpose of true decentralization. Knowing how oppressive some governments are, it'll be easier for them to stop usage of crypto whenever they want to by just targeting centralized exchanges.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Huh

Yes, although there were many centralized cryptocurrency exchanges have been hacked, it still dominating crypto space.
I think it is because the speed are faster than decentralized exchange. Another thing is, you can store multiple coins in most centralized exchanges.
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Experince | Managers Are The Major Reasons Why Bounties Are Mis-Managed on: April 12, 2019, 02:54:54 AM
I see there are peoples who agree and disagree with your opinions in this thread.
From my opinion, manager should ensure that bounty reward will be paid to hunters.
And to achieve this, i think escrowing the token is required.
If managers cannot escrowing token, then they must announce in the very first thread that they won't be responsible for the payment reward, join the campaign at your own risk.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Bounty Hunters Should Be Exempted from KYC/AML Procedures on: April 12, 2019, 02:43:40 AM
Indeed, bounty hunters are not spend their money in ICO, no money laundering happen.
AML should be only for investors who has huge amount of money that could be a money laundry activities.
Usually the KYC is not for preventing money laundry, the ICO company will give you other reason to do KYC.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Team also needs to pass KYC on: April 11, 2019, 02:59:32 AM
Investors and bounty hunters are mostly required to undergo KYC while the team behind the project itself are not known. And they scam people. I suggest the team should first pass a "KYC" test and publish it on their website before investors and hunters are also made to do same. What do you also think?

I think so, core team of the ICO should have done KYC. This is good for them too, because investors will come to buying their token if they passed KYC.
That's why on some ICO rating sites, there are some KYC procedures for the team.
If hunters must submit their identity to complete KYC, why the team not ?
528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do to recover your losses? on: April 11, 2019, 02:37:41 AM
You have a long list of altcoin portfolio that have tanked down by 90% since you participated in the ICO.  What was $5000 is now worth $500.  You are at a loss of $4000 and there happen to be an upcoming token sale that is pretty hyped.

You are in desperate need to recover your losses and you plan to invest in that hyped token sale in hope that you can earn 5-10x.  Would you:

1. Pump fresh fiat out of your pocket into the token sale or
2. Trade off the the altcoins you have for BTC/ETH and invest into that hyped token sale.

Share your thoughts.

If there are some ICO which is better and more interesting, first i will research about the development of -90% ICO.
I will sell my altcoin partly and participate to buy some coin in new ICO if they are not developing anymore.
But i won't sell anything if they keep stick to the road map planning and progressing.
529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM MEW and its new look! on: April 10, 2019, 04:41:47 AM
What can you say about the upgrade of MYETHERWALLET on their website https://www.myetherwallet.com
They launched the MEW V5 and added many features on it! i want to hear from you guys!

The new Myetherwallet has better UI from old Myetherwallet, i think i will used to.
More important thing is the security of the website of myetherwallet.
They must keep improving because many hackers usually targeting to make phishing site of myetherwallet.
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Bulls strong enough to end the bear market?? on: April 10, 2019, 04:17:53 AM
Fianlly a day of green market after the extreme dip.. do you think that bull are strong enough to revive the market again.. i am specifically to the people who are in crypto since 2011..

As we can see now the market is trying to recovering, most coins price are on the green.
The bull run maybe not coming, but the correction after the dip from 2018.
I hope there won't be any hacked exchange case anymore because it could restrain the market recover.
531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO still have huge chance of surviving on: April 10, 2019, 03:57:28 AM
After 2017 max ICO profits, ICO has since then been a high target for scammers but alas ICO will still survive on the long run ,bitorrent and fetch.ai has proven that, many investors are now getting smart and extremely more careful ,its really a good thing ,before we know it the scam rate will get lower and scammers won't make a dime from ICO anymore. I think action speaks more than words,no one wants to lose money to scam projects anymore so they are forced to learn how to spot good projects to invest in. Warning doesn't work but investors losing money does makes them learn.

Yes, there are several ICOs still running today. Not all of them are good, but you still can find a good project between them.
What we must do is always do our own research before investing in ICO.
Because we don't want to lose our money later, of course.
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency investment on: April 09, 2019, 03:36:32 AM
I used to get worked up over a loss in cryptocurrency not until I realized that these losses can be mitigated using the right investment strategy.
Investing and holding a coin is not the issue here, the issue is knowing when to sell.
The most successful investors are those who know when exactly to sell.
And to do that, one need doses of patience so as not to fomo and sell at loss.
The difference between the rich and the poor is simply the ability to know the right time to sell.

To know when is the good time to sell, is not easy because we won't know the market movements in the future.
A good patience will be necessary to hold your coin if it still on the bearish condition. Peoples tend to sell their coin if the value is falling, to cut the loss.
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smerits Hodl on: April 09, 2019, 03:16:42 AM
We should not holding smerit, it have no usage really. It will be gone eventually if we not give it to others.
Lets be fair and give smerit to peoples who create awesome information in this forum.
Bitcointalk forum will keep developing if the peoples always create a useful threads and posts.
534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VANTA a SCAM? Wasted 6 weeks working for Vanta without payment on: April 09, 2019, 03:09:51 AM
They should not changing the rules at the end of the campaign, it same as cheating the hunters.
Not everyone are able to doing KYC, their reward will be gone in vain.
Although it is not a scam ICO, but it is a fact that they are cheating the hunters by changing the rule.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which new token has good potential for the future? on: April 08, 2019, 07:17:19 AM
If someone asks a suggestion about some potential coin, we can tell them very fastly ETH, EOS, ICX, ADA and so on's name. Because right now, the crypto market has many good and reputed altcoins. But after the longtime bear market, do you have any hope for any new token? If yes, then which new token has a good potential in your view? Share with us!

You know some potential coins already. In cryptocurrency, there are good coins and good tokens as well.
I think you can search a good token like BNB (Binance), NPXS (Pundi X), etc.
For new token, im afraid i cannot give you any name. Just wait for the market to bull again, so the good project will appear.
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ANN] Cobo Wallet - First Leading Wallet Offering PoS&Masternode Reward🔥 on: April 08, 2019, 07:01:41 AM
A famous company, a lot of users say. And where then is the exchange of your token. About the exchange is not a single word is not said.

Cobo Candy is not a token, you could exchange it to other coins during the event

So, Cobo Candy is not a token ? I see your bounty thread here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5129262.0
The reward is in Cobo candy, but i don't know the value of your Cobo Candy.
What is the price of your Cobo Candy ? I think it will be better if peoples know, so they can participate eagerly.
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RoiCoin android mining on: April 08, 2019, 06:39:19 AM
Hello,
Is there any way to mine Roicoin by android?

Why do you want to mine the coin with your android ?
If the coin algo is Proof of stake, it will be better to stake mining it from your computer.
And if it is Proof of work, Android CPU or GPU is not better than PC. Using PC with CPU or GPU or ASIC is best for PoW.
538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stake allocation on: April 06, 2019, 03:51:44 PM
More percent of stakes goes to senior members like Sr member, hero member or legendary under bounty campaigns. But except for few cases, their performances are similar to those by junior members like member, Jr member.
The percentage of stakes allocated is much far between senior members and junior members. Moreover, it is really hard to get merit nowadays unlike in the past when merits would be given based on the quantity of posts. Except for few cases, merits are awarded to only the nearer and dearer.

So what do you guys think about it? You are welcome to comment.

Hey, do you think the jr member signature performance is same as legendary signature performance ? Of course not.
Legendary account can using color, font size and more space than jr member, the performance will be far different from jr member.
I think it is a very fair system for stake distribution in most signature campaigns.
539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Stablecoins have a future? on: April 06, 2019, 03:35:41 PM
Stablecoins have been considered among many investors to be a safe-haven for crypto's volatility. Ever since Tether (USDT) emerged, several other stablecoins have launched in order to provide people with a wide variety of options to choose from. However, the stability of stablecoins is yet to be questioned since we've seen how Tether has gone below $1 in the past.

NuBits used to be a stablecoin too, but now it has lost its peg to the USD. Which means, that the same thing could happen with most stablecoins out there, since they're traded on a free market.

Nonetheless, do you believe that stablecoins will have a future? If not, why? Smiley

Well, the coin is stable, i think the future will be stable if they not scamming peoples.
Stable coin means the price won't change, there won't be any profit, or loss when holding that coin.
so, i don't know what will be the advantages of holding stable coins.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IRX] IRONX - Best in Crypto, Best in Trading, World-Class Exchange on: April 05, 2019, 07:27:35 AM
unfortunately I see now that the IRX exchange is only on the website of this project, if they were register first on the coinmarketcap market. then the demand for IRONX trading will increase and the IRX price will rise high. currently on their website exchange IRX can only be exchanged to USD, and people are now waiting for an exchange for IRX / BTC, IRX / ETH and others.
The appearance of IRX on coinmarketcap WILL not increase the demand for it. More trading pairs, liquidity and marketing are needed to increase demand

But sometimes peoples will interesting to buy a coin that listed in coinmarketcap.
When a coin listed in coinmarketcap, you will be able to monitor the price of the coins in exchanges easier.
Of course liquidity and marketing efforts will increase the demands too.
