521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Investment Type do you Prefer??? on: May 21, 2016, 11:11:31 AM
Trading of altcoins is for me the best. As soon as you got the experience needed, you'll rock and make raw money Cool !
522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins in Steam coming soon... on: May 21, 2016, 11:07:26 AM
Now it has been finally introduced definitly. That's nice that it wasn't another invented rumor.
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Former bitcoin miner Digital X reports $1.2m Q3 loss on: May 09, 2016, 06:07:12 PM
It is developing a new product.
Losses in initial stages is nothing to be worried about.  Smiley

They're dropping like flies... Cry

Really ?! Spondoolies Tech closed ?! I thought it was a big well established company, that will never close. Now if BitFury closes, Bitmain would be alone Undecided...
524  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's Price Starting to Go Up.... on: April 21, 2016, 06:25:57 PM
Yeah, I noticed that. However, since I'm not doing trading on the Bitcoin price, it will ABSOLUTELY NOT change anything to my life. It might touch 1000$ that it wouldn't change anything except that I would be happy Smiley.
525  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin halving to be canceled? on: April 21, 2016, 11:06:56 AM
I don't see how it could be canceled since it is at the roots of Bitcoin. If I remember well, I saw someone saying that it will come earlier than excepted because of the rush for the hashpower. I don't know if it is true, but that's the only thing that can happen.
526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Method of gaining bitcoin from scratch on: April 12, 2016, 11:54:52 AM
The best way is indeed the signature campaigns. You could also try surfing the altcoin waves, but this isn't really from scratch, and this is very risky.

528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2016 and WHY on: April 01, 2016, 05:18:29 AM

The Everest has crashed, but the regular price is still nice. We're close to 0,03BTC and I wouldn't be surprised if someday before the PoS transition we set a new ATH.
529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can this be considered a Safest Cold Storage? on: April 01, 2016, 05:13:09 AM
Rather than using an electronic device, you may consider a paper wallet instead.

When generated safely (offline on a computer that never connected to internet; complete format of the harddisk after generated the wallet), it should be one of the safest and will not be obsoleted.

The paper wallet doesn't suit his needs. I don't think that he want his bitcoins to sit without any power on them. From what I understood, he wants to use them from time to time.
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Uther – Make Ethereum Better, based on Ethereum on: March 24, 2016, 07:40:52 PM
The total premine is 72 million

•Block Reward: 3 Uther
•Block Target: 20 seconds

I see I missed the part about 72 million premine not even going to waste my hash power.

At the beggining, I was optimistic too about this project, but when I saw the 72 millions premined coins, I lost every hope.
531  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current Sentiment Poll on: March 16, 2016, 06:09:04 PM
Well the poll has spoken.

In 2016 price will go up. But not surpass all time high.

Lets see

If you take the proportion of people that hink that price will increase and the one of people that think that it won't increase, the feeling is easy to spot and that's even more clear. This will be definitly entertaining to watch this halving Cool !
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: March 16, 2016, 06:00:52 PM
looks like that was the blow-off top in ether fart gas.

Prep yourselves for the years of the long bear markets ether luvvers ... or sell now and buy back at fiddy cents in 18 months or so ...?

The hype is far from being finished. The price is resisting to the 0,03BTC cap. I still believe in a big resurgence in price after all the weak hands sold their precious ETH. I love how jealous people criticize Ethereum because they did not had their slice of the pie Cheesy !
533  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] iPhone 6s Plus clone on: March 12, 2016, 11:35:53 AM
I have to say that I'm impressed. What version of Android is it running, a common version or a custom one to look like iOS ?
534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Calling ETH TOP on: March 12, 2016, 11:16:31 AM
I think that we are not supposed to discuss alt coins here.
Anyway, I'm not going to invest or trade in such alt coin.

Anyone saying something like that is someone that doesn't need or want money. I have multiplied by 5 my initial investment at this point, so I'm already happy at that point, and I might be more in the future Wink !
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: March 07, 2016, 06:52:33 PM
It's been a painful ride for me with the altcoin market this year, what makes this one special?

It's basically able to do pretty anything. His Smart Contracts system allow you to host decentralised applications in the network, the World's computer.
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: February 23, 2016, 04:43:02 PM
I'll calm your fantasms. Even if I am an Ethereum supporter, I don't think that it can beat Bitcoin. 1 BTC > 1 ETH forever, except if Bitcoin's code is broke, which isn't the reason for your Ethereum ascension.
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The real death of Bitcoin... on: February 23, 2016, 04:40:42 PM
So you're saying us that we should forget about the decentralisation ? Then start another project and show us what you can do, "Mister the Chief" Roll Eyes.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Roundtable Retreat - 70 top Techies & CEOs - What should be covered? on: February 22, 2016, 03:07:25 PM
Look at the 10 minute block time restriction. Whatever you do with SegWit ( which is brilliant ), or with blocksize changes, you will still be looking at up to 30 minutes for a confirmation. That's a long time for an on-line service these days.

The 10 minutes blocktime is good. Segregated Witness, if this is ever combined with the 2 MB blocksize increase, will greatly improve confirmation times. Even alone it could greatly help us.
539  Local / India / Re: Anyone in India converting Amazon gift cards to bitcoin using Purse.io? on: February 22, 2016, 03:00:26 PM
In India you speak english ? I know that we had our colony there until Gandhi, but I thought that hindi took english's place since that time.
Which cave are you living under? Indians are one of the Good English speakers in the World.I think we have come to a point where you'd find beggars in India begging in English nowadays also they accept cards from what I have seen.

That they speak English correctly don't surprise me at all, considering their past, but what surprise me is that they speak in English in the Indian sub-forum rather than speaking Hindi.

A written contract that confirm that you all agree for a same direction, handsigned by everyone would a good idea I think. I least we would know that tommorow another new idea will pop up and create again a big mess.
