What will happen now that bitcoin is under 1000, will it bounce back up from 940 or will it continue to spike down? Personally I believe it will continue to spike down a bit and slowly go back up, my guess would be 850-875 and from there it will stabilize.

I believe this run up is inflated and the price will drop soon enough. It might take a while because of the recent press, which will bring some new buyers, but I don't see any logical reason for the run up.
And do not come back with "it's supply and demand". So is a penny stock supply and demand?
I am a HLODer for the long term, but don't see these price movements reflect anything going on in the real world.

Do you mean the fall from $1200? That was hardly the first big drop. The crash from $33 to $2 back in 2011 was bigger. The crash from $266 to $50 was a pretty big drop too. Even the short-lived crash from $0.10 to $0.01 in 2010 was bigger. There will be more bubbles and more crashes but as long as they keep getting exponentially larger, everything will be fine for long-term holders. Bitcoin still has a long way to go before it hits the "vertical" stage of the adoption s-curve. Well... the first notable drop, I am just trying to relate to the current situation, last time the price was over 1000$ it dropped, tremendously. Well, last time when price was that high it was manipulated by bots, Chinese traders and Mt.Gox which was basically the biggest BTC exchange at that time. We don't have exactly the same situation now. Price rise is more organic and real. At some point we will see drop, but it won't be massive 50% price reduction more like slight decline to $900. Yes, I agree, as I said in my original post I was trying to explain how the situation now is different from this drop and is more stable. |

Do you think that the Bitcoin price will really drop this time? I think there are many businesses and people who will not sell all their bitcoin as the price goes up, and will continue to buy bitcoin regardless of the price. Personally I will not be planning on selling my bitcoins accordingly to a price drop, and will continue to buy bitcoin. I think that bitcoin is a lot more stable than it was in 2013-2014 when the first big drop happened. Previously the price was extremely rocky, and now the price seems much more stable. What do you think will happen?
For this particular situation what factors take part in the price falling or rising?

I think that I found the problem. My anti-DDoS system got confused by the new year and was randomly banning IPs. These bans are removed and the bug is now fixed. Sorry about that!

In light of the fact that the minimum investment time is 24 hours, I will say this:
If the amount that is returned is 0.5% of the original deposit, and one continually invests in the business, then that would be (1.005^365) = 617.47% APR.
That's pretty high.
regardless, the APR is 182.5% 1.15 ^ 12 = 535% APR. This equals a whopping 1,142% APR. 617.47% APR. From what I see is a bunch of people with different formulas of finding out how much the APR is. What matters is my terms, and if I follow them, not how much more I am paying than I bank or how high I am paying, all that matters is I follow what I originally have said, which I have. If you disagree with my terms thats fine, then don't invest.
