521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will save the elite. on: March 15, 2017, 01:29:57 PM
If the price continues to rise and having in mind the fact that the largest amount of Bitcoins is held by relatively small number of users that leads to the conclusion that Bitcoin already is elite currency. But still I don't like to see it this way and still hope that it will be widely spread among ordinary people who could have benefits of Bitcoin.
Well yeah, I don't agree with the thought that bitcoin is an elite currency and only made the rich richer and out of reach of the poor, although it seems to develop in that way. There are normal people even the poor ones struggling and trying hard everyday to make ends meet. And despite bitcoin's high price, it's not impossible for common man to use it requires will and effort not a bunch of money.
522  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen when 1 satoshi is $ 1? on: March 15, 2017, 12:57:39 PM
In your dream maybe but in reality its impossible to happen. I agree with some people that bitcoin can reach $100, 000. Even if some people manipulate the market on bitcoin not even a chance.
It's indeed most bitcoin users' dream to have one bitcoin worth $100,000 and become millionaires in just second. But yeah, this sounds totally day-dreaming, though I can't tell anything about the far-distant future but one thing for sure that bitcoin won't reach that high in just short time. It may but when it happens, we would have all gone to heaven.
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: March 15, 2017, 12:50:47 PM
bitcoin have a future, price have been going up and a lot of shops and online websites is accepting bitcoin, and a lot of countries have been bitcoin friendly.
I do agree that bitcoin is holding a bright and potential future and it's getting clearer that bitcoin is gaining more attention and trust, but this will only hold true in the short run. Who knows what's gonna happen to bitcoin a few decades later, things are changing rapidly and uncontrollably so there are no ways to tell. But I think we won't live that long to witness it so it's still true that bitcoin do have a future.
524  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Google play gift cards at cheap rates (Will go first for trusted members) on: March 15, 2017, 09:48:10 AM
please send me a pm and we will make a deal directly from Bitcointalk. I wonder whether those cards can be revoked or not cause I am scared that you buy those cards by fraud credit cards and as soon as the developers realized that, they will ban my account and take away all of the money. Anyhow, I want to buy 1 to test.
525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should governments allow people to pay their taxes in Bitcoin BTC? on: March 15, 2017, 06:16:12 AM
They should, but they won't. Countries accept tax payments only in their own currency, unless there's something that I'm missing.
If large EU countries, those which haven't accepted Euro yet, don't allow their citizens to pay taxes in Euro, they won't do an exception for Bitcoin. Think how many people would are using Euro every day and would like to use it to pay their taxes instead of their local currency and how many would like to do it in Bitcoin. There's simply not enough pressure from the people.

The idea of government accepting Bitcoin as form of currency is great but as you said it is quite impossible since governmen accept their own currency as a default.  But if ever government acknowledge Bitcoin as an alternative, I do not  think that there will be  something that will stop them from accepting Bitcoin as form of payment for the tax, they just need to convert them to fiat currency.
bitcoin can not be accepted by the government but I do think that the government will accept bitcoin as taxes. It is faster and convenient for citizens to pay and transfer taxes immediately to the authority. And it is certain that no government will accept Bitcoin as the optional currency since it will destroy the traditional currency and knock down the whole centralized system
526  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: March 15, 2017, 05:46:47 AM
In my country bitcoin spending on my personal bills payment is really usefull because if the prompt service that they have. It will bring comfort to me and most of the users online using the wallet options. Now is the time for profitable investment to do with digital currency and we are now in the greener pasture of success.
I am glad to hear that your country has already accepted bitcoin for bills payment. I live in a country which Bitcoin is denied and no one even cares about it. There are only a few Bitcoin stores in my local area but it seems that they are not very profitable. Well, hope that the situation will change and more people will use bitcoin instead of Fiat
527  Economy / Services / Re: where could I rent a vps server with Bitcoin payment. Win system prefered on: March 15, 2017, 05:14:36 AM
try to rent some from people around here. The prices are much more affordable and you can find some of them in the digital goods section. Negotiate with them and you will have the good prices. Online services take a lot of money which are not very good.
528  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Freebitco.in launched a new feature. on: March 15, 2017, 04:14:04 AM
4%  is not a big interest and in some countries, you can get 6 to 8% when you deposit money in bank. However, if the Bitcoin prices keep increasing about 100% every year, investing in freebitco.in will be much better. But, we can never trust online inestment since they can turn into scammers whenever they want. Just keep the money in your pocket and you will realize how awesome it can be
529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF: Better rejected or approved? on: March 14, 2017, 05:43:16 PM
I think it will be better if they approve bitcoin ETF. The prices will sharply increase and as you can see, ETF can be considered as one of the important impacts on Bitcoin this year. However, if they do not agree with it, it is still ok. Bitcoin right now have its own places and nothing can not knock down it anymore. We can wait in order to see the prices increase and the adoption too. We have waited for 8 years, why don't we wait for another 8?
530  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on its way to $1,300 on: March 14, 2017, 02:09:25 PM
Yeah bitcoin can reach $1300 but it is a long process since there are still many things against Bitcoin. ETF is not approved and it affects Bitcoin a lot and make the prices stop inceasing. Moreover, tomorrow, Chese exchange will be back and i can ensure that the prices will decrease sharply
531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: March 14, 2017, 10:25:59 AM
How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?

In my idea about in how bitcoin will gonna die, I think if the internet in the whole world will disappear. Many businesses will get affected on it too if ever that happen. And also if all bitcoin users will disappear and stop using bitcoin in any aspect of its features . And the value of BTC will drop into zero.
yeah bitcoin is depend on internet if internet disappear in the whole world then bitcoin will be die.
However, the situation is unlikely to happen since the internet has been a part of people for many years. People know how to maintain the internet and do their best in order to keep the Internet survive. In general, the Internet can not be destroyed. Therefore, Bitcoin can not be affected by this issue. Altcoin will be the main problem. It can replace Bitcoin Cheesy

534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: March 09, 2017, 11:58:24 PM
I always thought that if nobody sold any bitcoin then price would rise because anyone who is on demand for bitcoin would have to pay more to try and convince people to sell so i suppose as long as the demand is their then price will go up.

Could also depend,  if people use bitcoin they have had for years and a shop accepts it then cashes out to get fiat then price would go down.
If nobody and no one will sell bitcoins bitcoin price will be stable because there are no price updates on markets which is cause by buying or selling bitcoins
You are totally wrong. If no one spends Bitcoin, it will be come worthless. The prices of Bitoin demabds on how peiple use and consider it. Bitcoun will not as worth as it is if the people deny its benefits. Therefore, people should spend their Bitcoin if they want the price to increase even higher. It is the inly way to spread Bitcoin over the world
535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are dice sites reliable? on: March 09, 2017, 11:18:16 PM
Well yeah there are so many reliable dice sites like yolodice , duck dice , rollin dice. But yeah here are some signs of funding a legitimate site:
First they should have a probably fair
And second most important is they should have an option for instant payment so if you win big just withdraw everything.

The list is really long in all honesty. You could also add to that list fortune jack, bitsler, bitvest, satoshidice, and surprisingly you can even add nitrogensports to your list (they have dice, if you don't know). You can also even consider yobit as a dice site, they offer dice there too. If you're looking for a dice site, just stick with the established ones and just pick your favorite.
There are too many dice games on the Internet and if you are a new bie in this field, you need to be train how to spot a scam casino. Most of the time, you should check the Bitcointalk in order to know which sites are good and which are bad. People here are very honest
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BIT.AC :: MULTICURRENCY WALLET :: BUILT-IN INSTANT EXCHANGE :: Affiliate Program on: March 09, 2017, 11:13:33 PM
If you don't hold your keys you don't hold your coins.....simple

This is the same with all major web wallets out there

There are hybrid wallets (like Blockchain.info wallet) which allow you to keep your keys and use them in desktop wallets, but personally, I consider this approach as very risky, i.e. riskier than using both personal and web wallets. The major reason is that in either of these use cases your private keys never hit the Web. In the case of personal wallet, they are kept on the client side (on your computer), while in the case of web wallet, they are on the server side. With hybrid wallets you are susceptible to the so-called man-in-the-middle attack (even if all the traffic is encrypted). In fact, the Blockchain wallet keys had already been stolen in the past via using a compromised Tor node (or specifically set up by hackers, I don't quite remember which)

Thats scary. Good thing I avoid using blockchain.info.

Anyway I want to ask if I use the Bit.ac wallet for Monero, will I still be using the advantages of having anonymous payments? I know between me and Bit.ac there will be less or no anonymity unless I use a VPN and Tor but for me and the payee, will he know that the XMR payment will come from my Bit.ac wallet?

But I think it is still possible to remain anonymous in this case, if you just use a VPN everytime.

In that case there would be no need to use Monero then. I could still use BTC and a VPN with no problems of losing any value if I held another coin like XMR.
I agree then. BITCOIN and VPN are strong enough to protect us. However, it is still a good experience to use altcoin and monero on bit.ac since they have provide us a lot of benefits and opportunities with the new kind of wallet
537  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: March 09, 2017, 03:06:54 PM
I was thinking about this, what if the US Dollar crashes like speculated by many renowned economists around the world?
What will be it's affects on the beloved currency, BTC?

Bitcoin is the dollar of Cryptocurrency. Even though bitcoin is denominated in dollars, they are not tied together. So a crash in dollar would not necessarily lead to crash in bitcoin
I agree with you, but if the dollar crashes then there are many countries that will suffer huge losses because many countries are saving the dollar as reserve currency.  I think when dollar crashes many countries will choose gold to saving.
Well, dollar can not be crashed and if this ever happens in the future, people will know about it before it occors and they will know where to move their property. Everything always change and soon, dollar will be replaced by another currency which we have not known yet. Bitcoin can be a big competitor, but there is still a long way ahead for Bitcoin to become a new world currency
538  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it profitable to run a Bitcoin faucet in 2017 on: March 09, 2017, 12:36:57 PM
i do not think that earning bitcoin from faucet is such a good idea of making money, because from there you cannot make such a good amount of bitcoin it is just the wastage of time.

Getting money from the faucets requires a lot of time and effort. Sometimes you have to fill in the captcha, and you need to visit the webpages. I made some calculations in 2015. According to it, the average pay from faucets is around $0.10 per hour.

In 2015 I was able to make 0.001 BTC daily without effort, only using the good faucets twice a day. There were faucets with 1000-8000 satoshis reward and some of them offered like 10K-50K satoshis if you were lucky. On that time my profit was about $0.40 daily. Good return without effort and in a small time period. Now it's impossible to get the same amount proportional in dollars.

At the current market scenario, it is not possible to get those rates in faucets, though one can earn nearly similar if one have good amount and active referrals. I know some peoples who are earning a quite decent amount from faucets, even without claiming anything, just from their referrals.
So, it's profitable to run the cranes, but it will take a lot of time and resources to develop.
There will be no traffic if your website is suck. The payout must be affordable for the people to play and enjoy. There are many faucets which can not survived for at least a month. Be wise when you decide to join the ad world. It is not as easy as you think. Cheat will make it easier but i wont recommend this way. Making money in a legal ways helps you a lot in develop yourself and increase reputation
539  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: March 09, 2017, 11:15:14 AM
I am not spending them unless if there is urgent need of hard cash and if that situation arises then I sell few bitcoins and convert it to my local currency but most of them I am saving for future as price will go very much higher in future which will give me higher profits.
Lol I think there are many people who do that, by converting their bitcoin first to fiat and then do the spending
I think the question here is pure spending with bitcoin

Yes that is the real question. How do we it if we dont have the technology to make it happen. Here in Philippines we dont have something like that. We spend it by exchanging it to fiat first. Very limited shops do accept it and hard to find. It will take more years for bitcoin accepted payment could be done here for the economy rise slowly and I dont think companies would be open to that risk.
And that would not be a problem on my part as I can live with that as long as there is an exchange site which will allow us to convert our bitcoin to fiat. But since we are hoping for progress, we love to see that more merchants will accept bitcoin as it's a good sign of adoption which will make other people aware on the existence of bitcoin.
Too many people keep thinking that for mainstream adoption we need to start to see the supermarket and corner stores start to accept bitcoin but i don't see it working that way.

Bitcoin is an online currency and that is where it will stay, although just because it is an online currency doesn't mean that you won't soon be able to buy your shopping with it, a lot of the major supermarkets and department stores are already using pay online pick up later systems and this can just be another payment method they can now offer, confirmations shouldn't be a problem since they could just send you a SMS as soon as one confirmation comes through and you could then drive down to pick up you weekly shopping.

I do think that online transaction is good enough to make Bitcoin to be adopted by masses.  Remember we are already in an information age where we can almost get everything we need thru the internet.  And the trend is incline on that, full online transactions.  We just need a little more time to see Bitcoin being accepted anywhere in the world and be adopted by every internet users in the planet.
Online transactions are good but you need to know that more than 50% of our populatiob do not have a chance to access the internet wifi and most of them do not like to work with thr computer. In the futurd, maybe bitcoin will be adopted in masses, but not today.  Bitcoin has the bright future. I hope that it will soon bd recognized and used by the people on the Earth and even the aliens lol
540  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: March 09, 2017, 10:40:35 AM
Bitcoin: $1260/BTC
Gold: $1241/xau
Well, I can not believe that the Bitcoin prices has crossed over gold sooner than I expect. I thought the process would be finished in April. Wow, Bitcoin is truly worth and everyone who has sold their Bitcoin has made a huge mistake. Nothing can stop Bitcoin right now.

Just compare the total value of all gold in circulation and the total value of all bitcoins in circulation.
You will have your answer.  Smiley
Yeah better to total and sum all bitcoins and gold that is circulating in the market to know if bitcoin really do overcome bitcoin gold by this time
It is not about the market. I only want to mention about the Bitcoin prices. There is still a long path ahead and this is the first step to prove that bitcoin can become stronger than gold. It only takes us 8 years to witness about the significant increase in the prices and there is no doubt that Bitcoin will replace gold and become the next valuable type of investment
