521  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Secrets? on: September 09, 2017, 11:31:38 PM
So im wondering if there are secrets in trading coins that very few ppl know about and where disclosing it out in public is not a good idea.

Every traders develop their own strategy to get profits, but there are some particular way to maximize your profit in trading such as;
- insight trading, some information from certain people who know the next step of a coin development will invest earlier.
- do not invest in random coins which seems have potential but poor developers behind the project
- divide your funds into several coins, top 20 in marketcap is a good choice.
- invest in ICO and hold it at least 3-6 months to get bigger profit, not every ICO will success that's way you need to do research about it.
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin now you think had a good future on: September 09, 2017, 04:55:09 PM
Top 20 on https://coinmarketcap.com/ are the most trusted and profitable coins which has a good potential in the future.
If your question refers to some ICO coins that will be listed on trading platforms, there are several projects that has a good idea and developers as well, but I recommend to check my signature Notary that will be sold on September 22nd.
523  Economy / Speculation / Re: To all hodlers on: September 09, 2017, 03:25:19 PM
I won't buy your Lambo.
I will buy bitcoin, ethereum, dash, zcoin.
Something has value because people measure its advantages, the usability, not only junk.
Cryptocurrencies has value because people believe it's worth, different case with the first digital currency, supply and demand make sure the value keep growing, because it really has usability as better monetary system.
524  Economy / Economics / Re: Which Bitcoin amount could be the max to exchange to fiat? on: September 09, 2017, 12:21:04 PM
How do you exchange 45M$? or 450M? So does it make any difference if you hodl 10.000 BTC or 100.000 BTC, since you can't exchange it to fiat anyway without raising suspicion, even if you're very well connected?

That's the problem and that's why a country regulate about exchanges or how much money you can transfer in a day using banks.
In that case, if you want to convert like BTC100, just go to the exchange office and transact over the counter, buy and sell directly to the exchange without trading in exchange (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zw844AtuOAo). How much to buy or sell? Depend on the exchanges, how much they have in their wallet.
525  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Coin monitoring tool / Project on: September 08, 2017, 11:53:18 PM
if you sign up you can add
coins to your favorite list to see all time on home screen and not to search every time what is current status
you can add your coins and amount of coins you have to monitor price
you can see summary price of all your coins

and many more for future
Quote
You should decide what it is you want to do with your project. Are you for monitoring assets? Are you an exchange? A trading bot creator?

I dont know yet, Im do this for myself depends on my need.

I like your site, the idea is to monitor 'my coins', right?
In that case, I have to sign up and fill the amounts all of my coins, and watch it grow or fall.
Nicely done, I will test it.
526  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 10 dollars into a million on: September 08, 2017, 11:08:54 PM
If you are a good investigator(very good), you can watch some(20-50) altcoin, if it acts like Bitcoin, buy these(10$).
But you have to be a good investigator, good analist.
That is not impossible but very hard I can see it.

I see you don't want to take any risk. But if you want to make money fast, you have to take risk.
If you want to buy with 10 dollars, then you have to wait long long time.
Your change is 1/50 maybe.

Indeed, someone need to struggle and wait for years, maybe 20 years to turn 10 dollars into $1 Million.
And it seems impossible tough, easier to say $10,000 into $1 Miliion obviously, bigger capital will have bigger chance to make it happen.
Cryptocurrencies isn't an easy way to get rich, you have to compete with million people in order to buy and sell at the right time, whether you may make profit or you may lose in the battlefield.
527  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-08] Caixin: China is said planning to shut local bitcoin exchanges on: September 08, 2017, 10:18:54 PM
China isn't banning Bitcoin exchanges. This is a manipulated news. The crash has something to do with ICO ban. As there is no official statement or any news from Chinese media. I don't think we need to believe that.

Obviously, seems so shady for only one news from caixin, lol. There is no official statement from China governments and bitcoin price already staterd to recover again. There are many people who willing to buy cheaper coins from Chinese traders, and bitcoin price still tanked in most of exchanges.
No need to worry about it, because only traders will dump theirs and pump it again.
528  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese ban bitcoin news is 100% pure bullshit on: September 08, 2017, 09:44:27 PM
If it just a rumor, than nothing to worry. But, can you get the message? Chinese people and miners hold big portion of bitcoin, if China govs ban bitcoin, its price will be crash to $3000 I guess. On the other hand, we will be happy because there are more cheaper coins in circulation waiting to be purchased.
But, this is seems like a fake news obviously.
529  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have I missed something?? Markets tanked in minutes! on: September 08, 2017, 02:50:54 PM
I am not sure why cryptocurrencies prices fall almost in the same time, mostly red in the market, but bitcoin price in my local exchange recover just in minutes, lol. Whales in act to dump (maybe) but people already prepared to buy whenever dips occurs Grin. Yes, it is discount time, I'm glad to buy more cheaper bitcoins. Just waiting until the time comes and I will sell it again, get extra profit. Friday discount
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After btc best option in crypto on: September 07, 2017, 04:13:12 PM
Bitcoin cash does have good idea with 8Mb blocks, but bitcoin has segwit which consider as a good scale solution and we pay low fees right now.
We received bitcoin cash for free and most people treat it as free cash as well, whenever the price increase, it won't last long because people will dump it.
Hopefully bitcoin cash could recover to $1000 again, then I will cash out again Grin
531  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: WARNING: Poloniex blocking clients from contacting them, SCAM in the making? on: September 06, 2017, 11:41:52 PM
Yesterday I transferred half my funds from Poloniex and today I transferred the other half. I transferred via litecoin to keep fees lower. In both cases transfer took less than 30 minutes. I had nothing against Poloniex as reason for transfer. From these 2 transfers I cannot complain against Poloniex. Quick transaction with no problems.

Deposit funds (money or cryptocurrencies) is always an easy thing, nothing will hold you to do it, but most people have problem when they want to withdraw their funds which takes more than 24 hours, or never even processed. The thing is, this problem does not happen to everyone. only few unlucky users. But, still a problem to consider before you inject funds to their wallet.
532  Economy / Economics / Re: Condos in Dubai for sale in Bitcoins on: September 06, 2017, 05:15:40 PM
But, they do not really sell it for bitcoin, because Bitpay will convert bitcoin into fiat currency and give it to Asto plaza devs.
Through a partnership with Knox Group (http://knoxgroupplc.com/) and the bitcoin payment processor Bitpay (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitPay), a selection of 1,133 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, ready for completion by September 2019 will be sold for bitcoin.
Not in 2017, but have to wait for another 2 years which bitcoin price may reach new ATH. Yes, there is probability bitcoin will go down, but the chance to rise up is bigger obviously.

Currently, studio properties will have a starting price of 33 BTC, and the real estate agency says early investors will get additional benefits. Additionally, packages of interior design services and furniture can also be purchased using bitcoin.
BTC33 today worth over $151,000. How if bitcoin rise to $15,000 in 2019? It's not worth to purchase it right now.
533  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading and security on: September 06, 2017, 02:45:42 PM
I have read dozens of threads saying you need to keep your BTC on a hardware wallet or paper. Anything online isn't safe they say. When trading that is not really feasible is it? I like to move in and out of positions several times a day and often at a moments notice. My trading account has a sizable balance (to me - 5 figures)  in it.

How risky is this and any additional things I could do?

Read all about Mt. Gox and Bitfinex hack and look how many people lost a lot of funds in those trading platform. I'll just advise you to just enough funds in a exchange for your trading purposes and pull out most of your funds to a secure wallet. Its better to be safe that sorry. If you are willing to let all your funds then take the risk, enable 2FA and make a strong password if they planned to hack your account only. But if its a widely planned exchange hack, then nothing you can do. Its up to you dude. I hope you make the right decision.

Yes, an exchange and trading platforms are the most targeted by hackers just like you said, MT. Gox and Bitfinex are the good examples.
If you are an active traders, put your money or bitcoin in trading platform is inevitable, if it being hacked, then you are unlucky.
5 digits of money or bitcoin is big amount and must be secured, in that case just treat trading platforms or exchanges as temporarily place to do your business, in and out as fast as possible. Buy and sell and then withdraw your money, just put small amount in their wallet just in case.
534  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-05]Wallet Hacks: How a Person Lost Over $300,000 Due to Simple Mistakes on: September 05, 2017, 11:44:01 PM
What happened was a simple mistake from the owner, just take it as an advice to do not repeat the same mistake from others.
The article mentioned some preventive measures like; Turn on 2FA for all your accounts. Not text message based, but with google authenticator where possible. And the most important thing is to secure your wallet, do not put all eggs in one basket, when it's gone, there is no another wallet as back up funds.
535  Economy / Speculation / Re: Invest in Bitcoin right now? on: September 05, 2017, 10:33:55 PM
I have some money at the bank which I actually don't need. The interest rate is a joke, so I'm looking for long term investment.
BTC price is kind of high right now if you look at the charts and history. But I read a lot of topics and it looks like this doesn't matter at all.

Let's say I want to buy like 2BTC. Do you advice to do it right now or wait till when?

Thanks!!!

Just buy bitcoin right now, no need to wait longer as the price will increase over time. Bitcoin prices had dropped a few days ago from new ATH $5000 to $4000, that was an opportunity to buy cheaper coins, but if you missed it, current price still convenient.
Bitcoin is a better way to store your money compare to bank interest obviously, bitcoin could rise over 400% in this year and may continue to grow. SO, buy bitcoin now, do not store in an exchange but put it in offline wallet then wait for 2-3 years later.
536  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: best ways to advertise on: September 04, 2017, 11:59:54 PM
what are good ways to advertise a bitcoin business?

I tried a-ads and bitmedia but they suck

does anyone have experience advertising with coinmarketcap?

Advertise your business in here is a good way obviously. There are many people which advertise their projects or business in this forum and could manage to get more attention and more profits. I don't have an experience to advertise through coinmarketcap, but here's the thing : How much people visiting coinmarketcap? How much people visiting this forum? I believe more people visit this forum looking for latest news, projects, business, buy and sell something which is why advertise in this forum more profitable in my opinion.
537  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we need blockchain technology? on: September 04, 2017, 11:39:05 PM
Depend on what kind of coins we're talking about, bitcoin-blockchain is necessary, we need it even though you think there is no benefit in real life but bitcoin running on blockchain and we use bitcoin which mean; we use blockchain indirectly. If we're talking about shitcoins which offers something or services but not really useful, then those coins mostly used as trading object.
538  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start my first crypto trading? on: September 04, 2017, 04:31:55 PM
Hello
I want to start crypto trading but i don't know how to start trading.
Any expert crypto trader, please give me some tips and tricks about crypto trading.
And minimum how much amount need to start for crypto trading?
       thanks

First thing to do is choose the right platform to do trading activities. I've been doing it for months on local exchange in my country while many people suggest to trade on Bittrex, but bittrex applied high fees for withdrawal BTC0.001 and there is no guarantee you can make profits to cover the fees.
You need to learn the basic thing to trade cryptos, such as learn what factors that affects the price, such as current situation in China which influence people to sell their coins. At least you need BTC0.01 to start trading in order to make decent profits, if you have BTC0.1 it's even better, I recommend to buy eth when it fall to $200.
539  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: i find site similar to bitcointalk on: September 04, 2017, 01:53:08 PM
I find it very funny, look at to all of those topics, created by one person or what? and the last post was on May 29, 2016.
Yes, there are a lot of similar bitcointalk forum but none of them could be compared with this forum, simply because it's the first one, just like bitcoin.
And the fact that Satoshi as the founder has been in here and discussed many things about bitcoin, make it worth more and gain more trust from many people. There are millions of dollars that transact through this forum, where people come to buy and sell cryptocurrencies, join ICO and many goods as well.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What would you do with 10 eth on: September 04, 2017, 08:03:18 AM
Sell all of it, 10 ETH when it was $379 and buy back if it drop back to $285 or $300.
Which mean you can generate around $790, easy profit. Only if you aware that ethereum highest peak was $379.
If you've missed it, be patient and wait until ethereum reach another ATH, I believe eth has good potential to keep increasing due to many companiess using ethereum blockchain to develop their projects or just as a medium of exchange to crowdfunding.
