521  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: CGMiner expert needed, with 5830s on: May 16, 2012, 11:35:54 PM
Try -w 128 -g 3

Where do I put that?  I am not using GUIMiner

You said you did -o http://thepooliuse:8332 -u iSellBitcoins.default -p default -I 9 --auto-gpu --gpu-engine 800-880 --gpu-memclock 300

So just do -o http://thepooliuse:8332 -u iSellBitcoins.default -p default -I 9 --auto-gpu --gpu-engine 800-880 --gpu-memclock 300 -w 128 -g 3

Okay sweet!  I will try that.

Sounds about right for 860 or 880..

Run them at 1000.  You'll get over 300MHs

Okay cool, thanks!
524  Bitcoin / Mining support / CGMiner expert needed, with 5830s on: May 16, 2012, 11:01:51 PM
I have the latest CGMiner and this is my command line.

cgminer -o http://thepooliuse:8332 -u iSellBitcoins.default -p default -I 9 --auto-gpu --gpu-engine 800-880 --gpu-memclock 300

I have MSI Afterburner at 860\300 and I am only getting about 275mhash each.
Two 5830 right now and a 750w PSU single rail.

Anyone help me?  Shouldn't I get a little fasteR?

Thanks!

530  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: gone--- bid on eBay on: May 16, 2012, 12:55:47 AM
Did you see the thread, about 20 below, of someone looking to buy an MSI 890FXA-GD70?

Yes, I did.  But I already put it on eBay and someone bid on it :\

So I have to honor that.
531  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] MSI-890FXA-GD70 - hold up to 6 cards. on: May 16, 2012, 12:20:28 AM
Shipping from Northwest.
So... Sweden ? Iceland ? (North West)

LOL sorry northwest USA!!!

Looks like I might have a bid on eBay as well ... damn, I wanted to sell this for BTC.

LOL...

Now the thread title looks like you are trying to sell a 'Bid on Ebay'...hehe

If your sale falls through on Ebay, let me know...or PM /post a link to the auction if you are willing to ship to Canada (South West Wink  ...)

haha sounds good.  i have had bad luck with ppl not paying me on eBay a few times ... but this is a pretty hot item .

534  Other / Beginners & Help / What are good settings for a 5830? on: May 14, 2012, 07:34:04 PM
I am not asking you what you think of a 5830.

I am asking you what you KNOW about it, and what are the best mhash\power ratios you have achieved.

I am in this for the long haul, so I don't want them to fry in 3 months.  So what are some good settings?

I use CGMiner (always latest version) and good, single rail, rated PSUs and good mobos.
I also use Afterburner.
Windows 7 but considering BAMT.

Speaking of that, can I use CGMiner in BAMT?  I know NOTHING about linux

You can add it to the List of honest traders if you'd like: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=484.0

And I take ratings on #bitcoin-otc on the Freenode IRC.

Oh that would be awesome I wanted to get on this list!!!!

Sounds good to me.

isellbitcoins [at] gmail.com - email me or post here your email address and I will forward what they sent me.

I will also send you my BTC wallet address.

Just remember these cards expire in 90 days and I got them about 4 days ago.  So you have 86 days to buy something from NE.

Thanks!
