521  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: User protection funds, Should more cex adopt this culture? on: December 06, 2023, 04:42:25 PM

Apparently, the funds are self-funded and designed to safeguard users' assets against hacks, harsh market conditions, etc. In my opinion, this is a commendable practice by the CEX and will undoubtedly instill confidence in users when using the platform in the future.

Perhaps other platforms should adopt this culture moving forward?

Although this is just another shill by Bitget to highlight one of their feature but I guess already have one of this feature and in fact started this even before Bitget. I’m not sure if other exchange done this but Bitget is not the one who started it so stop sharing like Bitget started it.

Besides I’m not sure if that funds is really secured if they are still the one holding it and not in the care of an escrow which will act once the condition met because this protection funds can be voided anytime once the CEX itself already taken the fall.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Do You Convince Someone On Something That Will Not Work on: December 06, 2023, 04:34:49 PM
We all know Martingale will not work in the long run, should I let him find out himself but that will incur a heavy loss in this case.  Cry
Or should I discourage him by showing him videos, articles, and testimonials?

Because of this, I will not talk about online gambling to newbie I could put a guy in big trouble.

It’s too late already for this guy to be stopped since he already experienced the taste of success on his first try. Martingale is really dangerous but sometimes it works on giving successful run on gambling.

I’m not sure how you can convince him anymore to stop gambling even using other testimonials about how dangerous it is because he already has the successful thoughts on his mind. Maybe your best chance is to convince him to just lower his bankroll because there’s no way to completely stop him. Only the experience of losing will gonna teach them the danger of gambling.
523  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is the only currency that has grown the most!! on: December 06, 2023, 03:22:48 PM
Currently, we see Bitcoin market above $44000, I think it will bring $45000 very soon. Will Bitcoin Touch $50,000 By This December?  What do you think about the way the Bitcoin market is currently growing?

I really think that Bitcoin will grow more and even reach ATH price since there’s nothing to stop them now because we are all get over to FTX and other big crypto companies that got bankrupt.

The only way this current trend will stop is when Bitcoin ETF is denied or when one of the institutional investors such as microstrategy will finally take profit since they are the only entity that has the ability to dump the market using their current holdings but I doubt this will happened soon because they are still accumulating even on the current price which means they are thinking long term.
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos after the shutdowns of mixers on: December 06, 2023, 03:10:37 PM
KYC and AML would prevent that, so I don't think the government would bother disclosing more facts if a lot of people were using casinos to money laundering activities. The casino will also do more research on it and will be more aggressive in warning users who have illegal activities, so things won't be easy even if casino money laundering exists.

Bitcoin is not for illegal actions, but some people who use it for illegal activities and that's difficult to stop. Bitcoin's bad image should disappear because mixers don't exist, but mixers are not for dealing with illegal activities, just like casinos too.

Money launderers is now very creative since they are betting like a regular gamblers and willing to take risk just mix their dirty money. I remember reading a post here coming from casino representatives that laundering is still happening in the casino industry despite being strict on stopping any possible laundering since their bonus and vip rewards is being exploited to help laundering money easier.

The only way casino can stop laundering is by checking every deposit source which is very hard to maintain especially if you have tons of player actively making deposits and withdrawal.
525  Economy / Gambling discussion / How do you deal with high transaction fee on BTC on gambling? on: December 06, 2023, 02:58:49 PM
I think everyone notice how high the current fee right now on Bitcoin network. I’m sure player like me that relying only on signature campaign payment in Bitcoin is having a hard time to play right now since the fee is insanely high.

How do you deal with this problem? Is there any casino that allows no confirmation to deposit? Let’s say I will send my Bitcoin using fee below average and then play while it’s still unconfirmed. I knew that some casino do have instant deposit but I never try depositing much lower fee to the average fee if they will still credit instantly.
526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The worst slot provider ever? on: December 05, 2023, 01:51:59 PM
I will start with Hacksaw and Wazdan... In my experience, these two are the worst of them all! Almost impossible to hit some bonus round with normal spins, and most bonus rounds pays under x10...

But as you suggest more providers I will add them to the poll. So let's find the worst provider ever! Smiley

Push Gaming is the worst slot provider for me. Most of their games has an unfair number of free spin count while the buy bonus value is always x100 compared to other slot provider that just use x100 of base bet for the buy bonus.

Aside from overprice buy bonus, Their free spin usually too volatile that you can win nothing out of expensive buy bonus which is really not worth it. Their game shas tons of animation but less payout. This slot game provider is just good on providing good game graphics but very frequent to pay. This provider is worst than hacksaw.
527  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks are the cause of millions of crypto project failures on: December 05, 2023, 01:07:28 PM
Banks are the cause of millions of crypto project failures

No they are not. The real culprit are those greedy team behind a crypto project that abandoned the development after spending all the funds gathered during ICO then slowly rugged all the investors. Bank doesn’t about about crypto projects because they are just giving liquidity to those who will ask for financial help.

The team itself is the one who do the decision making so they are responsible to the project failure. Most of crypto project that failed are planned to be short term and move on once there’s no more liquidity available for the team to drain. This is the sad reality on crypto investment.
528  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: December 05, 2023, 01:02:50 PM
Anyone here hunting for the snowman? Can we spot the snowman even when hunting using a smarthphone? I'm trying to look for the snowman but I cannot find it since the 3rd day.
Have you spotted any? How big is the snowman?

AFAIK, You can hunt them using smartphone since this is same mechanics before on the previous hunting giveaway of Duelbits. I’m not participating anymore but you can check the twitter post comment since some user share the answer for the location whenever they already find it.

If you are in doubt you can use desktop version of the casino but I’m positive that it’s possible to hunt it using smartphone.
529  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to view cryptocurrency prices secretly on phone? on: December 05, 2023, 08:12:31 AM
Bitcoin and altcoin price ticker is already available on phone widget. You can customize the size so that it will just look like a regular number on your home screen.

Afaik even Binance and other trading apps offer a widget on home screen that let you check the price secretly by just swiping your phone to home screen. But all of this secret thing is considered as useless if the user itself is doing it on public places which his phone is exposed publicly. Why not just check the price when you are alone such as in comfort room.
530  Economy / Gambling / Re: are bookies fortunejack.com & rollbit.com trustworthy with larger amounts ? on: December 05, 2023, 07:38:04 AM
are bookies fortunejack.com & rollbit.com  trustworthy with larger amounts ?

somebody can confirm betting on this 2 bookies with over 10k , 50k ? and no issues with withdrawls

They are safe if you will not do things that will break their ToS such as abused on bonuses through multiple account, arbitrage betting and many more because they will surely confiscate all your profit. This is applicable to almost all casino here in the forum.

The reason why there seems a lot of complaint that involved huge amount is the user itself is breaking the ToS or they got limited for doing value bets on most of their bets. But you will not encounter a problem if you are just a standard gambler.
531  Economy / Speculation / Re: So I guess we sell at $48626 ? on: December 04, 2023, 06:18:10 PM
Play heads or tails 5 times and there is a chance that it will come up heads 5 times. This does not mean that the result will always be heads. The same here. Sample N=3 (number of repetitions of the pattern that occurred in 2017 - rebound from 0.618 FIB) is definitely too little to draw conclusions about how accurate this indicator is. But like any good technical analysis indicator, Fibbonaci retracements have accurate data available online about the indicator's performance:

The nature of self fulfilling prophecy on technical and fundamental analysis makes this kind prediction almost accurate. Just like Bitcoin halving which people looking forward and use to hype the market.

If many traders see this pattern and share everywhere I guess this will likely to happened since many traders is expecting already this big pull back after big pump using the history on charts.
532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos after the shutdowns of mixers on: December 04, 2023, 05:07:05 PM
Let's hope it's not related to crypto casinos. However, casinos may take serious action to address the recent incidents at mixers by increasing supervision of their users. Crypto casinos will tighten their regulations, and casinos may immediately implement KYC on their users. By implementing this verification, the casino can at least monitor its members who deposit and withdraw large amounts of money. If the government asks questions about money laundering cases, the casino can provide its data for further investigation. Current conditions are increasingly difficult for crypto casinos because they are being monitored more closely by the government, so they have to be more careful in running their business.
All of those are possibiities.

But I don't think that they're going to take it seriously when majority of them are registered and have a trademark unlike the mixers that have unknown developers or owners behind.

Maybe they'll take it as a precaution to do their jobs better and monitor more players accurately. Other than that, I don't see something serious that shall go with the casinos.

Aside from what you said, Forum restricting mixers is a not directly gonna impact casino in legal ways. This is just a forum safety precaution agains possible legal charges in the future by hosting illegal mixers while casino is legally compliant so there’s no way for regulators to crack them down without any evidence that they are knowingly allowing money laundering.

I believe only forum users is making it a big deal due to the signature campaign but it’s really not gonna affect casino operations because mixers is different to casino if we remove forum out of the picture.
533  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: December 04, 2023, 04:36:05 PM
Even though sometimes I am not sure that this method can be successful in stopping someone's addiction, at least there are efforts to help gambling addicts to slowly reduce the gambling addiction they feel in their lives, as we know it is difficult to cure gambling addiction, even with professional help it will not work. If it doesn't come from the gambler's heart to stop gambling, it will clearly be very difficult.

I support any independent efforts and other efforts to help gambling addicts because there are more and more gambling addicts who are increasingly out of control when gambling, that's why I also continue to make efforts to remind beginners and prevent them from playing wisely and responsibly, at least I believe self that prevention is better than treating addiction itself.
Gambling is dangerous, and I would advise anyone close to me to stay far from it because it's results are not friendly as pressumed. Gambling have dealt with me, I've complain and also worked on myself on becoming the better version. Gambling and recording streak losses have also become one of the discouraging records for me, though I never stop but keep placing wagering on games for better results. Addiction is the top challenge everyone faces this season but we just have to apply disciplinary measures if we care to survive for long in the system.

It’s ironic because the one that saying this words is being paid by a casino for posting such comment.

Gambling in general is not dangerous since it doesn’t force you to play or requires you to deposit huge amount to play. The gambler himself is the one that makes it dangerous due to their greedy. Greediness should be the one to blame since the casino itself doesn’t force to become greedy.

I believe you should warn your friends to not play if they can’t handle greediness because that’s the thing that makes people lose money and not the casino that just offer games.
534  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers to be banned on: December 04, 2023, 03:01:30 PM
Who complaining more about mixers ban? Those who really used them and advised them to others, or those who only care about wearing signature and money? Forum is not just a place where you come, post your 15-25, get btc and run away.

The majority of the user complaining about the ban is due to signature campaign payment and the rest is due to censorship since we can’t deny that campaigns here motivate every user to post in daily basis. Only few users are posting just because they are really interested on discussion with 25 post+ per day.

But there’s nothing wrong on getting paid here since it can help user from 3rd world country to have an extra help financially. So this movement might be just the start to ban other campaigns in the future which is the real concern by everyone due to the censorship.

maging affiliate
subscription
no license fee
profit sharing

537  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im TIRED of SCAM exchanges - is there an verified list on: December 03, 2023, 04:19:23 PM
Hello Guys,

im tired of this SCAM exchanges theres full of them out there..  you just cant trust anyone nowadays

is there somekind of list with legit - verified exchanges where the list is constantly updating if there is some bad news happening ore withdrawls getting delayed etc..

does anyone know if this exchanges operate and are thrustworthy:

https://lexmo.com
https://hitbtc.com
https://latoken.com/
https://www.coinw.com/

thanks

Hitbtc and latoken has a very poor reputation exchange. The other 2 is completely unknown for me which is a red flag. If you are really tired on scam exchanges then why stick on popular brand such as Binance, Kucoin, Bybit and more instead of trying to use unknown exchange.

There’s a lot of DEX too that will save you from hassle of thinking whether exchange is scam since everything is transparent including the available liquidity. But I knew bestchange.com provides a collection of exchange which they trust. I’m not affiliated with them but they are on this business for a long term and established already good reputation so it’s worthy checking their service offer.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transactions - are we living in stone age? :( on: December 03, 2023, 04:06:17 PM
As a community, what can we do to stop this madness? Or being decentralized, comes with its distinct downsides?

Honestly, it feels like living in ancient times looking at this fees and time to receive confirmation.
Hold and don’t send transaction using the current average high price so that we can help the mempool lessen its load by removing 1 pending transaction coming from each one of us.

I totally agree that the current price is very high since I witness and experience transactions using cheap fees before. I’m resorting now to gambling just to cover the fee by risking on few more games to win enough money for fees then use the free withdrawal function of the casino to transfer my funds on exchange.
539  Economy / Speculation / Re: What did you think will happen to Bitcoin before January? on: December 03, 2023, 02:51:26 PM
Well, the current trend is optimistic with lots of positive news in November, and I predict that opportunity will also remain in December, the year-end market will maintain a slow rise in the face of optimism( 45k) based on The reaction affecting the market will then be an increase - adjustment in January and February (Lunar New Year).
if ETF news is around the corner I dout there will be adjustment in january and february honestly. so many peolpe has been voicing their speculation in regards of the end of the year gonna be bearish market for bitcoin like the years before but we all know this isn't true instead its always going through barriers of resistance right now even about to break through $40k.
this gonna be different trend for bitcoin so I think i need to be optimistic that the next year gonna be bullish for bitcoin in general and after that will be some altcoin season that gonna comes up.
before january i'm sure bitcoin will reach $45k and in the next year, maybe it will reach all time high, but regardless even though that might seems like a weak speculation, but we all know ETF news around the corner and could change the market right away.

I’m skeptical on what’s gonna be the real impact of ETF approval in long term. Surely the price will pump when the news of approval release to the public but the problem is the long term price growth. ETF Spot Bitcoin will give higher liquidity for Bitcoin which means it will lessen the volatility in general.

I’m not sure if the massive pump that we can see in the past is still possible if the spot ETF is already in play.
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm looking for sites with good sports predictions on: December 03, 2023, 02:43:32 PM
Please recommend good sites with quality sports predictions and detailed analyses of predictions

Most of the sports analysts website usually choose the same pick which the bookmaker marks as lower odds since they are both relying on stats to determine the assessment on who will gonna win.

I think you should find value bets instead of website that offering picks since you can have a better profitability on sports betting by choosing a bet offer that is valued higher than the normal odds given by typical sportsbook.
