This is what I found about the network difficulty, which makes sense : "If there are not many miners, difficulty falls, if there are a lot of miners, the difficulty starts growing, and it becomes harder for a particular miner to find this block." |

DeepSend is what we need to be aside Monero, Dash, Verge, Zcash..  Can you tell me please what is DeepSend and why is this better than algorithms that have other anonymous coins (Monero, Dash etc)? As I understand this will be implemented Tor functions at last? at firstly it will be optional feature. If you want send understandable transaction you can not use deepsend and will see in blockchain understandable transaction. Some time it may be need for legal payments where need show some reports with payment details. Some privacy coins cant allow this and cant be used in this way. at 2nd DeepSend nodes very easy to setup. Will be need only wallet synced with network with minimal requred balance ( 200 onion for now as i know to enable deepsend feature). These nodes will help with transactions and nodes owners may earn some money. DeepSend nodes will be able to earn money almost in some way as masternodes, but without centralisation. Masternodes its centralisation. We no need any masters in our network.All network participants should have same privilegies. I would not mind doing some testing as I can test on a few different platforms. The other thing I'm curious about... will there be ANY difference of installation? The reason I ask is that a day or two before official release I would like to be the "test dummy" if there is any difference. I have a feeling we might have lost a few people when we went from 1.x to 2.x because they did not understand that it was easy, just different. If there is going to be a problem I would rather it be me as I am hard to get rid of  Installing DeepOnion is easy because devs use the simple update way, with the QT wallet you get the newest version, remember always to create a backup before updating anything! |

I love DeepOnion, it being a coin which was distributed via airdrop but a lot of people worry about DeepOnion's future. My biggest concern with privacy coins as a whole is the fact they very well could be regulated against. ISPs choke pools, Government agencies bar business from accepting and take away FIAT off-ramps. What can be done then? Sure everyone can Solo Mine but at that point what is the motivation? Cant trade it for Fiat or goods an services. Personally I feel that this is being ignored by the privacy coin community as a whole and we all need to step up and help shape these coming regulations instead of just letting them come to fruition without any input from community projects whatsoever.
The crypto community is growing stronger and bigger each day! plus there are many more people waking up knowing about how inefficient, manipulated, corrupted, scammed and controlled by only a few centralized organizations, the current monetary system is. Those are enough reasons to start with, plus DeepOnion is here to educate the masses as well because not many people yet can get why the privacy and decentralized systems are important! Soon DeepOnion also will focus on decentralized exchanges. |

Polispay asked help about the integration to the blockbook repository. So dev team made a PR. With new codebase we can also easier integrate ONION code base to hardware wallets i.e. Trezor. Currently the dev team focus on the DeepSend. Being able to store onion on trezor would be a great leap ahead. Loving the advances with this coin. Buyers will be willing to buy more ONIONs once Trezor is available, they don't have to update wallets! |
