Im young, despite how much money I have I find no need to retire. I would probably start a business though to occupy my time if I had 2 million in bitcoin. Maybe a card/hobby shop where people can hang out and have fun.

In 20 years, if you own 21 BTC you will be rich as fuck since less than 1 million can ever own 21 BTC at the same time. By then, I should be retired and living a relaxed life.
What do you consider rich as fuck? Also I want to be able to keister my bitcoin or keep it with an implantable chip in my grundle if I go to prison.

I know im going to get crucified for this, but I would like bitcoin to be accepted in bank accounts that can be insured and easily moved into fiat so I can use bitcoin day to day within the system. Probably wont happen any time soon though. And no I wouldnt give them all of my btc but just some to hold.

I would like to have hit my goal but that probably wont happen. Hopefully Ill hit it in december and the price wont have gone up too much.

what was the dollar price per lisk if you contributed to the crowdsale on day 1?

I think it might go up a tad in the short term (around 1-2 weeks before) just from hype maybe give or take 5%. Over time though as long as buying and selling habits stay the same as well as the number of transactions/users keeps going up we will see the price rise.

how is lisk trading on bloombit if the actual client and website has not been released yet?

I started bitcoin mining and altcoin mining around 2013 and I have a few leftover open air cases and pci and pci express extenders. These things have literally been laying around my house for years at this point Im willing to sell them for slightly more than the shipping cost. The shipping is expensive which is why I havent bothered to list them but If you are interested in them make an offer. Also let me know where you live so I can calculate the cost of shipping. One is a smaller 5 slot GPU open air case and the other case is a pretty big nice 6 or 8 slot (cant remember which) open air case from openrigs which doesnt sell them anymore. It took a while to get to me so I never opened it and it was just in my garage. I also have 5 pci extenders, 3 medium size 2 extra long and 3 pci express extenders. Here is the album of stuff I have on Imgur. http://imgur.com/a/Aiy1T Let me know if you are interested. Ill accept Eth or bitcoin or dollars if you come to me to pick it up. Im in NJ if you are willing to drive to me ill sell it all for $40 no way to over pay to ship those cases? , I'd take them all. Ill gladly ship them but the post office is pretty crazy with what they charge for shipping large boxes, so I don't know if it if will be that appealing at that point. Also if that was what you wanted to do I would need you to send the bitcoin payment first because I cant front that much in shipping, as im still a college student. (I have a pretty reputable reddit account where we could discuss the details if it gets that far, or if you just wanted to use ebay I would be fine with that.) Let me get back to you. Ill see how much they would be willing to ship the packages for. The open rigs one is really nice and was never taken out of the box when it was shipped from south Africa, so if you just wanted to buy that Id suggest that one. At this point I would probably just throw in the risers for free. I would like to at least make some of my money back from what I spent on them.

"100 BTC is not a huge holding in the grand scheme of thinhgs"
Apparantly, $45,800 is not a huge holding. That's what someone earns in a year.
yes but even 45k out of the market cap is only 0.000006% . Many people in the world earn 100x that a year. Its all relative.

I think Theymos is worried that Wright and his fund may have access to some early coins and wants to give core the power to remove them if it proves to be the case. This is just a wild guess, time will see how this plays out.
No blacklisting coins, no reversing transactions or were no better than paypal.

I hate this circlejerkary. Every single year I see someone post (insert next year here) Will be year of the Bitcoin.

Keep hoarding my bitcoin and continue to suck dick on the corner to pay for monthly expenses. You know the usual.

Ouch sorry man this is my ultimate nightmare. I am super paranoid about keeping any amount larger than say 100 on a computer or exchange. Im actually even skeptical of hardware wallets and the possibility of them becoming compromised. I used the old fashion printed paper wallet.

I call bullshit on a $2,000-$3000 bitcoin with a brexit. You are talking about 36 Billion dollars on the lower end entering bitcoin in such a short span of time when it is still relatively hard to to purchase and secure coins. Maybe if we had a mainstream financial products that allow you to store and secure coins effectively without technical knowledge but until then I don't see us getting access to that amount of money without mainstream adoption which I dont see us getting until we can provide mainstream financial products to speculate/own coins without having to secure them yourself.

Market cap and liquidity is too low to effectively launder large sums of money. I suspect it will be more of a problem as liquidity and market cap grows, but also at that time we might have better blockchain analysis which might scare people off.

"I see a spike to $1500-$2000 by halving" I very much disagree with you on this one. I think by halving maybe 500 and a few months after 550-600 maybe.

personally I believe user friendliness. I think if we want to have bitcoin become mainstream we need to first have regulated insured central entities that let someone use and secure bitcoin without much knowledge. Along with this a mainstream etf for people to invest in the coins without having to worry about security. Then there can be another type of user who is knowledgeable and keeps their coins and private keys managed by themselves. Without having support for both types of these users I don't think we will continue to grow exponentially. A very unpopular opinion to some.
