bitsamp is a joke.
they will lose a lot of customers.
just imagine a crash on gox, while bitstamp is offline. glad that I am all fiat.
And I hope you have fiat on your bank account and not on exchange

Yep, something is going on with bitstamp. Cannot login, no deposits, no info,... bitcoin24 repeating.

I heard about BTC around June 2012. Bought my first BTC in December, then more in Jan and Feb. Average price around $30.
I was panick selling my 200 BTC stash on bitcoin24 at around $60, yep the bottom. I immediately regret it and tried to buy it back next day, but bitcoin24 went offline and my money is gone.
I was thinking of buying 1 BTC, but my emotional pain is still here, I just cannot put anymore money into this. I think I'll never own BTC again, well maybe if they drop below 200, but I think I missed that train.

did you also fail logic 101?
Sorry for answering you. I am sorry for your losses, 95% chance you will never see bitcoins again. Cling to hope. bye

lol, he's gone, you lost your investment, sorry.
there's still 200BTC in the account... if he was going to do a runner he would have moved ALL the funds to a mixing service... I think you just failed Deductive reasoning 101. And who is in control of the wallet?

lol, he's gone, you lost your investment, sorry.

Very easy for you to say after it did happen. Back then everything was said to be on track and as predicted. Since FC was underpromising and overdelivering such expectations were justified.
As we learned along the way information was not spread evenly among shareholders and we could see that some investors were selling in panic. Like eb3full for example who suddenly and out of nowhere put his 3500 shares on "pay what you want, now" sale auction. Also Vycid commented something like "I know some big whales who will be dumping soon". If I remember correctly.
So in my opinion only those who were privileged to information about incoming gen2 failure could make such a short call. Or those who were betting that after successful streak friedcat will trip on something eventually.
+1 , well said sir, well said ... Welcome to free market, where you sometimes have to think with your own head and make logic conclusions. I am very sorry if investors didn't see the correction coming, it was very evident.

Maybe I'm a little confused - If we assign a new manager, we will seize control of the wallet and be able to redistribute? This is the so-called dead man's switch?
(1) Is this true?
No.

Organize yourself and find out what happened. It appers he stole all your BTC's. Maybe your only chance now is police?

I guess I haven't been keeping close enough track. 140k BTC, srsly? Like .3 BTC per share?
Correct, it's closer to .35 per share.

Well this is interesting the average yield is greater than AM now \ also wheres my 1 satoshi hehe j/k lol .00004989 per share 4988 satoshis per share
Yield was always larger than AM's. S.DICE has in its lifetime paid ~80k BTC in dividends to AM's ~20k. You are wrong. AM paid ~140k in dividends, it took them only 4 months to earn this ammount with sales and mining. This is according to btc.co dividend history for AM. IPO shareholders are already more than 100k in profit. (If you add to this price increase in btc value (75$) and shares (4,5btc), ~300x in dollar terms).
