In my opinion this is great for the bitcoin future in India. My self have invested heavily in mining - so it is good for me also If you don't plan to do any thing illegal with it, then investing in bitcoin is the best thing you can do for your future..

I try to talk about bitcoin to everyone I know, especially young people. I think they will be more interested in new ideas and will show enthusiasm to participate or invest in bitcoin or mine etc..

I think its a good idea.... more ppl will get involved! There will be a time where u go to grocery to buy stuff and u pay with bitcoin so.... eventually it'll be good..... But my parents dont believe in these stuff.. they think its all scam.... so.... ad would prove it wrong.... That's a very good point, last generation people are more faithful to FIAT currency. Spreading awareness through tv with key points on what bitcoin really is and how it works would be great. More people will get involved which is the best thing right now for bitcoins future.

Hi fellow Indians..!!! So I have recently started with this cryptocurrency rush and so I wanted to know the best exchange for BTC and altcoin trading in India. I looked at Zebpay but their buy and sell figures were way off same goes for unocoin... Any other ideas? And also I plan to hold a number of altcoins and I don't prefer getting a trezor/ledger right in the beginning any idea on which would be the next best option to get a good secure wallet(other than the hardware ones)....
Thanks in advance, Akaash
Poloniex, Kraken etc.. are some of the exchanges I personally signed up and been using for a long time. Check them out, Kraken only supports wire transfer if you want to withdraw the amount in EUR. IMO, best way is to trade alts from international exchanges convert them to BTC and then cashout from some Indian exchange.

This is great news for Indian cryptocurrency enthusiasts, I would happily support with all I have for this coin to be successful. Looking forward to see more information from dev team soon..

Join coinsecure. You can buy and sell bitcoins via INR. Local bitcoins have many untrustworthy members there and can be risky to trade. Coinsecure deals with these trades themselves and hence no chance of getting cheated.
This is indeed the best thing he could do right now, with 15k in hand. Too many stories about people getting screwed in Localbitcoins. Especially since he is new, it is difficult to know who to deal with and when. It is better to do it via some trusted exchange, learn and then invest large amount and make more profit. Goodluck!

If the GPU is same, then there is no problem at all.. but note that when you are mining, the AMP cards will probably lower its clock to match the other cards so that all of them run at the same frequency.
This is what i learn from a video from linustechtips, if you want more info on mix/matching cards, you can search his youtube channel.

Hello,
I have PC with specification
Intel Core i5 16 GB RAM DDR4 VGA : GALAX GeForce GTX 1050 Ti MotherBoard : MSI B250I Gaming Pro AC
so can i use My PC for mining ?
I have a similar pc, with 4770k , 1060 6gb..16 gb Ram etc.. I tried to calculate estd. income on mining in calculator (nicehash) and it is only like 2$ per day (GPU+CPU). I don't think it is worth the time + effort + electricity, IMO.

Considering the price and value of a D3, I really recommend to buy a good PSU from company like EVGA. They have great power supplies and I have seen people use them with Bitmain products. You can search youtube to find which models, If i remember well I think it was 1600T2 or P2. Don't buy cheap psu, it will damage or even burn your miner since it is meant for 24 hours operation.
Cheers!!

This is probably some kid trying to make some easy money from this forum.. Well, nice try there.. lol

Unocoin is one of the best exchanges in India. Spamming negative comments in this forum probably wouldn't do anything to their reputation.

share ur views in alternative source of electricity for cryptocurrency mining in india
In India you cannot get free electricity as the cost per unit is high here. Due to which nowdays nobody is interested in mining as the cost of land and electricity takes away any profit if there. Instead people invest in coins directly. You can try solar panels to get electricity but those panels come at high price so its the same thing only. You can convert a room in your home into an office, or rent a commercial space, register an SSI unit. and get electricity (3-phase) for industrial usage. This is by far the cheapest method. The price in my place come as low as 4.5 INR/Unit.

I want to buy mining tools in india area, maybe there is someone here who knows where to buy mining tools in india
I don't think it is wise to buy used mining gear from India, for reasons like that it might be outdated or damaged. Your best move is to buy directly from companies like Bitmain, Innosilicon etc..

I'm importing miners too but they are from France. (Had to go through a reseller). Any tips? I have applied for an IEC. What should the price be put as? For a product actually of 3000$ can I have a value of 1000-1500$(USD) or should it be higher/lesser. Any advice? Will be happy Thanks in advance, Akaash
I saw a news that after GST have been implemented, GSTIN is used instead of IEC for import and export. Is it true? Are you sure you need IEC? I was hoping to get away with GSTIN I am not sure...!!! I am an individual and I am a student so I don't have a GSTIN... I was looking for tips here... But nobody seems to have replied... Can you update if you find anythjng new? I am expecting my miners to arrive last week of this month, or probably by the 2nd week of September. I think PAN card is enough if you are importing small number of miners (personal use). The total value of my import is more than 14000 USD, so I don't think they would buy it if I say it is for personal use, So I am planning to register a SSI unit. I ll post the details of my import and i ll see if i can get some information on import for individuals from my courier representative.
