Probably a scam. I received a mail too.

Unocoin just raised funding from Bnktothefuture.
I don't think they're doing an ICO.

So it is a scam, just received this email:

Dear Unocoin Customers,

A message was sent out to our customers about an ICO (initial coin offering) that Unocoin is undergoing on 12th August 2017. Please note that this was NOT sent out by our team and is an attempt to steal customer funds. Please ignore that email.

Obviously their customer database (at the very least email addresses) have been obtained fraudulently...  They better buck up their security if they want to stay alive!

I just received the ico mail, nothing from unocoin yet. Monthly dividends about referral share.!! It does look like a scam to me. I just hope the hackers didn't took more information about the users. This will be a black mark for unocoin.

This is really scary because previously from users account 0.02 btc was transferred and now to all their users somebody is sending this false rumors of ICO. This means that their is a huge security breach and this may impact their business in coming time. I think users will now think twice before dealing with them.

I agree. Actually, 0.25BTC was transferred from a number of accounts. (Or so they claimed.)

Looks like the hackers got their email database.
Maybe a good time to change your passwords on other Bitcoin related sites. (If you use the same password.)

So clearly a hack has leaked all the communication details of users of Unocoin.
I feel Unocoin should do a press release admitting that they were hacked and extent of damage done by hackers :/
