Pools report their actual total. So, difficulty grows - network total hops to reflect that grow (and again, that is shown lower than it is), deepbit ans Slushi pools are the same, other - huge up.

Не все так драматично. Мощность сети вычисляется исходя из допущения, что между блоками (как должно быть) в среднем 600 секунд или 6 блоков в час. Вы когда в последний раз количество блоков в час меньше 10-и видели ? Вот и скачок в мощности с изменением сложности. Она то растет как раз так, чтобы привести к этому результату - 6 б\ч. Так что этот камешек из фундамента теории заговора я все же выну.

Да. Файл - Создать другой генератор. Указать расположние rpcminer-cpu.exe или  rpcminer-4way.exe (для 4-х ядерников).
RPC генераторы находятся внутри папки с установленным GUIMiner (подпапка miners).
Настроить его на пул. Запустить оба (майнер GPU и вновь созданный).

`3000 Транзакций на мегабайт блока. Вроде как `7 транзакций в секунду, грубо говоря. Но этот лимит может быть изменен.
Вскоре закладывать fee  в транзакцию  станет необходимостью. Чем больше  fee  тем выше скорость подтверждения. 
Ещё один толчок к развитию "банковских" систем, где транзакции будут происходить "внутри".
