Aston Villa are knocking down the teams aiming for the top title one by one and thus they are in 3rd place. For years, when we came to these weeks in the EPL season, I could more or less sense who would be the champion.
This year, I find it really difficult to do this. There are so many good teams and most of them are close to each other in the rankings. Emery coach does this job, he is a respectable coach. He finds his way against big teams, big things to win, City then beat Arsenal.

Since the last 2 seasons, Everton has always managed to overcome relegation finished in 17th and 16th place, for this season I think they are still in the same area therefore we really cannot predict how they will play in each match including in the upcoming match against Chelsea. I predict both teams will score goals but cannot determine who will win.
Newcastle losing this match was due to some errors while they were about building from the back, but this is in not supposed to be an excuse because theyre one of the 4 teams representing England in the UCL which is a big stage and when compared to Everton who are in the relegation zone, theyre bigger and bette. But mistakes happens and yes, lessons have been learnt. Now Everton whove secured 3 points and gotten out of relegation zone, will be playing a wounded Chelsea team wholl be coming into this match with wounded hearts from Old Trafford, I think Everton wont have any point at all in this fixture, Everton will still struggle this season but one thing Is sure, theyll be safe from relegation. The first goal conceded in the 78th minute, not due to endurance, was due to a completely individual mistake. McNeil punished this mistake severely by winning the ball and then scoring a goal. Newcastle United was the team that controlled the game until now. After the goal, Newcastle disbanded. After the first goal, that stamina disappeared. In my opinion, it wasn't physical. I think Nice's job is quite difficult and they might lose two points. Their streak of not losing a game in the league lasted 13 games by the way.  Former champion Lyon is now in relegation and it doesn't look like their situation will ever recover. This team has been champion in this league for years in a row. Serious transfers are required between the seasons for the team to get back on its feet. It was Aubameyang's night in Marseille. Most of the share in the victory belonged to him, he was able to score 2 assists and 1 goal in 90 minutes. A very experienced striker showed no mercy to Lyon that night. If they continue like this, I think Lyon could break new ground. |

No team can maintain a top performance for a long time frame. Manchester City is no exception from this rule.
