521  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation is making a mess of my savings. on: August 08, 2023, 01:01:06 PM
Inflation made a huge mess some years ago. I fully understand that sleeping money in the bank is not the best way to keep money. So I finally decided to move them into an asset that has the potential to beat inflation and at the same time easier to sell and cash out. And because it was not a good year to invest in crypto, I diversified it to different stocks. And then comes a huge bear run into our local stock market. Some of the stocks I purchased even dropped worse than some of the top 400 altcoins in crypto.
Precisely at times like that it is more risky to invest in the stock market, in crypto as well but the potential for recovery is enormous in the crypto market, when compared to the stock market.
When inflation occurs, indeed all aspects will be affected, but I think there are several investment options that can survive that, for example investing in real estate.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 08, 2023, 08:28:51 AM
I don't think, Napoli can make this season run smoothly like the way they made the season run smoothly through out last season because some of their good players has left the team and some are still planning to join other teams where they will be receiving a big money more than the amount they are receiving from Napoli. Napoli players will display well in this season, but it will be difficult for them to embrace the Italian league title in this season because it will take spalletti a long matches before he can build those new players well before they will start displaying wonders in the team. Now that AC Milan got the opportunity to embraced some potential players in this season show that they will be among the team that will drag first position in this Italian league competition.
Of course Napoli won't be like last season, the departure of the coach and several key players will of course change everything but I'm also not saying that they will be far down, maybe this will be better or maintain the stability of the team, all of that is still a mystery even though there are many people who doubt them.
Of course, now a lot of Serie A teams are starting to improve even better and that will make the competition at the top to win the Scudetto much more difficult, I'm sure this season will be much more interesting than last season, and I think there will be several teams who will compete fiercely to win the Scudetto.

PSV Eindhoven vs Sturm Graz

For third qualification stage in the first leg PSV will play as a host and here is the current odds for this match

PSV Eindhoven @1.40
Draw @4.50
Sturm Graz @7

It is clearly that PSV is the favourite in this match but i am not surprised if the bookie placed them as the favourite because since pre season tour PSV performance has been showing good progress that they got 4 wins from total 5 matches and the latest is PSV can able to beat Feyenoord with slim score at Johan Cruijff cup event so PSV currently in the good shape and besides that both teams has been met on 2021 at Europa league and at that time PSV can able to beat Sturm Graz twice and regarding bets option indeed the odds for PSV was quite low but i think this is safe bets because i am sure they will be able to win the match today
It's obvious who doesn't know PSV and with much better squad depth they can win this game for sure. I don't even know who Sturm Graz really is and if you look at the information available they are a club from the Austrian league. No wonder Sturm Graz gets big odds because they are a team far from the Champions League competition. Even if you want to bet, it's definitely a safe bet for PSV to win with the odds @1.40 and it looks like Sturm Graz won't be too difficult for PSV. Other than that I think PSV will score more than 2 goals in this qualifier.
Yes, it's very possible, PSV Eindhoven is the favorite in this match because indeed the teams from these two different leagues have a significant difference in quality, so no one doubts PSV Eindhoven to win this match and also this season PSV Eindhoven built his team much more strong, so I have no hesitation in betting on PSV's win.
And I also don't know the strength of Sturm Graz for sure, but I think that if there are no big surprises, they won't be able to win this match, it's very difficult for them to play against a team that has played in the UCL a lot like PSV.
524  Economy / Economics / Re: What's the effect of having plenty children to the national economy of a country on: August 08, 2023, 07:30:33 AM
I couldn't agree more. I always say this and I think it is very important to emphasize that giving birth to child with poor economy and environment does not just bad for the parents but also to the child. Long gone are the times when it is okay to have birth and see where everything goes. Today, family planning is vital to ensure the child and the family's future.
It is very logical indeed when a family is in economic difficulties actually having many children is something that will make the family worse off, this even applies to a country, a poor country will find it more difficult when the population addition does not match or is in line with the per capita income of the population .
There is no other solution apart from family planning which limits children in a family, as far as I know there are several countries that implement this.
525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 08, 2023, 06:24:26 AM
Oxlade-Chamberlain is coming to İstanbul soon. The player whose contract has expired is close to an agreement with Beşiktaş. If Oxlade-Chamberlain signs a contract, he will be a very good addition to the midfield. Together with Gedson and Salih, he makes the midfield stronger.
Also, according to Şenol Güneş, Talisca also wants to come to Beşiktaş. However, the financial dimension of the transfer is somewhat troublesome. Beşiktaş doesn't want to pay such a high transfer fee and give a high salary. It's also important to maintain the balance in the team.

Beşiktaş may not want to make high contracts, but high salaries are very important in football now. If salaries in the Saudi Arabian league decrease, then maybe we can enter a period in football where salaries are low as before. Then Talisca can come. Apart from that, a high salary is required to transfer players in the current period.
Yes, indeed the salary offer from the Saudi Arabian team is currently making many players tempted to be able to play there, but Oxlade-Chamberlain is a quality player in my opinion and Beşiktaş will be very lucky if they can get him, Chamberlain is currently 29 years old and allows him to be more growing in his new team.
526  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you rather start/grow a business from scratch or buy an existing business? on: August 07, 2023, 09:29:55 AM
I don't really have much to say as regards to this post. It is just an avenue to hear your thoughts on which is better to invest both time, energy and resources in, mostly for a season as this, where we are experiencing economic uncertainty and ill-timed government banking policies.

So, given that the resources are available or not and you are presented with the opportunity to start/grow or buy an existing business just like Elon Musk, which option is more preferential and benefitial to you?

I prefer starting a business rather than buying a business that is already running, maybe the simple reason is that there is no guarantee and the possibility of success is the same, so I think it's more worth it to start a business from scratch and we have time to process and bring this business to the direction we want. .
Meanwhile, acquiring a business certainly requires a large amount of capital and is also likely to be able to maintain or make the business bigger.
527  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is more profiting self trade or AI on: August 04, 2023, 10:28:26 AM
I dont know but before AI hype like now there is dozen of Robo Trading that can buy and sell when all the parameter is match, But I dont know it seems there is no bot can create such a huge profit although if there any I would join  Grin

But one thing is sure that the market is highly unpredicted maybe AI can feed multiple technical indicator but one or two news can disrupt the trading decision
Yes, it's true that a lot of things happened outside of what we planned.
Personally, I don't trust robots, because I believe there must be gaps or something that will be very detrimental to us, therefore I choose self-trade over AI, even though there are many indicators that must be studied, but I think it will be much more profitable in the future with knowledge and our experiences.
528  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - what are we expecting for the rest of 2023? on: August 04, 2023, 09:51:30 AM
Absolutely true that in 2022 bitcoin did not touch the value of 30k$ but during current year the price was almost 30k$ each month. Now it is something declined in price like that of 28k$ but expert says that it will surely goes towards positive line (40k$).
The price of $40K is indeed quite positive and also quite logical for experts to say because they also look at what Bitcoin prices have generally been around for a few months so they are saying about what prices are quite logical to happen for Bitcoin in this year other than $30K which may have been witnessed by many people in this year.
Throughout this year, we are in a more positive trend and maybe a price of $ 40k is very possible to achieve, considering that currently the decline that has occurred throughout the year is not too deep compared to the increase that has occurred.
Personally I'm pretty sure the positive trend will continue this year, and I think a price of $40k is very likely.
529  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of Farming. on: August 04, 2023, 09:19:52 AM
Today, urban land is expensive, scarce, often polluted, and hardly cultivable. Not to mention, even if we shorten the supply chain as much as possible, agricultural products are very perishable. More especially, when we can see that the short-term food shortages during the recent COVID-19 lockdown were most clearly felt among the working class, who make up the vast majority of society, it shows that the sustainable agriculture of the future will not be organic, local, or "natural," but industrialized, scalable, and serving as many people as possible.
Vertical farming can slightly improve the food problem in the city, but in general it will not solve the problem. It is necessary to rationally use the lands that are suitable for agriculture. But the problem with food vseravno will exist. After all, the population of the planet is increasing, and the area of fertile land is constantly decreasing for various reasons. The only hope is for the further development of technologies that will make it possible to obtain food in non-traditional ways.
So far, there has been no right solution for global development, which has disrupted many of the dawn's lands because of buildings or infrastructure built by a country to accommodate the world's increasingly dense population. Vertical farming is indeed quite effective, but it is unable to meet large needs .
I think maybe in the future there will be a solution for this when there is a shortage of food, for sure there will be a solution or a way out.
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 04, 2023, 08:54:55 AM
Many questions appeared about hojlund. I saw that how many people were commenting to have high expectation for him. We don't know whether he will be delivering it or not. My guess that if hojlund's performance gonna be so terrible on his debut.
This is his first time to play in the most competitive league in the world. Hojlund needs to adapt with everything in manchester united. Let's see how good him when he was playing in the manchester united.

Hojlud potentially to be another weghorst as well. It's better wait for him to prove it. People hyped him so much. I keep seeing some videos in youtube that said he was underrated player. He's fast, strong and having good finishing.
Rasmus Hojlund is merely a kid who need direction throughout everything he accomplishes. Fine, he was overhyped by his club, but that doesn't mean he'll blend in satisfactorily on his debut; for me, I've just prepared my mind not to be excessively enthusiastic about the new striker; his odds of disintegrating his debut are 50/50; anticipate either the best or the worst possible performance from him. Erik Ten Hag will genuinely nurture this youngster during the years he will spend at Old Trafford; of course, he will be paired with a lot of quality players, and things will be less difficult on him. Rasmus Hojlund is exactly what Manchester United needs right now: a young, talented player who can position himself effectively in front of goal.
it seems too early to speculate about this young man while Man United is still hiding whether this transfer will really be carried out because on the other hand there are still doubts from Ten Hag. if possible this happens it seems that this reliable coach will not use Rasmus Hojlund to be a starter this summer because I see this young player is not very good its just that Man United management still has confidence in building talent in this player. so I dont doubt it here because young players can have strong talent when they join the right team and get a much better coach.
The news about Rasmus Højlund is a bit exaggerated, but I think that's normal because this player has enormous potential to be able to develop with Manchester United, he is only 20 years old and the individual quality of this player is quite good, so I think he can become a mainstay player for Manchester United in future later.
And Manchester United coach Eric Ten Hag has also made it clear that he really wants the 20-year-old.
531  Economy / Economics / Re: What's the effect of having plenty children to the national economy of a country on: August 04, 2023, 08:20:12 AM
Is there an effect both positive or negative to the county's economy when couples have plenty children?

In the past before the current economic era, around the 15th century and the beginning of the French industrial revolution, having many children was seen as fertility and good for both the family work force and country's also. The labour force was majorly manual and those who worked at the plantations were sort after as able bodied men or women.

But at the moment, what is the viability of having many children especially as it could reduce the per capital income.
There are positive and negative influences, having many will greatly affect the economy of an area with population growth, of course it has a positive effect on the economy if it is balanced with balanced economic growth but it will be the other way around if an area is not ready for it, neglected public services and other things other.

I think the number of children or an increase in population growth does not always affect per capita income, because with population growth it is possible to increase employment opportunities and it is also possible that a country or region will continue to progress.

FA Community Shield : Arsenal vs Manchester City

Two days left before super big match between Arsenal vs Manchester City in FA Community shield, due Manchester City won Premier League and FA Cup tittles last season automatically Arsenal who finished on 2nd placed standing will meet in FA Community Shield. All predicting favorite Manchester City easily winning FA Community Shield in this season due their record head to head always win against Arsenal, but current pre season matches, Manchester City have poor performance after losing against Atletico Madrid.

Arsenal hasn't impressive performance in pre season match, but couldn't be comparison because difference level between pre season and FA Community Shield match, based on your prediction who will get first tittle in this season "Arsenal or Manchester City"
I've already placed my wager on the game, towards favoring the cityzens to come out victorious in the game. It's meant for the best teams, as they say, the best team is the winning team. Mikel Arteta will prepare his team to face Pep Guardiola, his former boss. With the big game coming up, we should just tell ourselves the truth: looking at the game statistics, the Gunners refrain from standing a chance against Manchester City. This is a Community Shield final, not a typical league game. Pep Guardiola is the mastermind behind the city's previous successes, and this one will not be an exception.
I will only bet on both teams to score and I won't bet on Man City to win because this is the beginning of the season both team has the chances of winning the match though Man City had some incredible records against Arsenal, however both team had assembled new signings into the squad with the exit of some keys players of both team definitely there will be a slight change in dynamic or style of play by both teams and Arsenal who had been consistently defeated by Man City in their previous matches might want to prove some critics wrong by aiming for a win, I believe it is going to be a very competitive match on Sunday.
It's a good bet choice and I also plan to do the same, Now it's very difficult to predict who will win this game because both teams have improved for the better and I think the current strength of the two teams is not much different, Arsenal and Manchester City have competed been tight since last season and of course this time it will be too.
Arsenal have added several new players at this time and made this team much more solid, while Man City did not make many changes but Pep Guardiolaala's team is indeed strong enough despite being left behind by several key players, maybe that's why it makes it a little difficult for me to predicting who will win this match, and I think for the choice of betting on both teams to score I think it's very appropriate.
533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 03, 2023, 02:47:24 PM
Juventus is showing some improvement. Last season the team could not achieve the expected success. However, the team has started doing well in the beginning of this season Hopefully Juventus will have a good season.
To some extent, the team made an effort, but I believe they failed to overcome their obstacles last season, with the severe punishment they received from the court for breaking the law, points deducted from the league table, diminishing their ambition to contend for the scudetto this season. Despite the club's challenging circumstances, Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is doing everything he can to make things more efficiently. The Old lady's facing some significant obstacles this season, which is not a nice path to go, but in past friendly games, they stood out to win elite clubs.
Their mentality must have been down when they were penalized last season, and they could have recovered the points they lost, but at the end of the season they had to actually get penalized for deducting points. When viewed from the game, actually they can't be said to be playing badly, it's just that maybe a little not optimal, especially at the beginning they lost a lot of players which in the end made them have to work extra. Slowly but surely they continue to improve.
The upcoming season is also not without problems, because they get a score not allowed to be in European competition. However, it could be an advantage because their schedule is not busier than usual. They must show that they can still rise despite repeated sanctions.
Because of the sanctions that befell them next season, Juventus should be able to focus on Serie A next season, but with the changes made by this team throughout the transfer market this summer, many people are pessimistic that they will be able to compete strictly to win the Scudetto next season, but Juventus are starting to prove themselves. slowly in the pre-season matches they are living, now they are playing very well even though it does not guarantee that they will play well in official competitions later but at least now many changes have occurred in this team.
534  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie? on: August 03, 2023, 02:13:10 PM
I am thinking of buying coins that are 15% or more down and then selling once they pump 10% and move onto the next one that is 15% down and then again sell at 10% profit and just keep repeating.
Stay away from pump and dump games, you will regret it later.

I agree more if you start investing instead of taking advantage of the pump and dump situation on that altcoin. You should probably ignore it as much as possible because in most cases the trader will lose money because of it. But if you want to trade, then do your analysis on some good altcoin even if only for small profits.

I agree with you. This may work one or more times, but very soon you can lose money because of this strategy. You very correctly noted that you should first learn with small amounts of money, gain experience, knowledge, and then gradually increase the amount. What the author of the article writes about worries many beginners who think that everything is not so difficult) But this is a dangerous thought. Better not play the game pump and dump
Everything really won't go the way we think, that's very risky in my opinion because we can never know whether a coin will be able to rise or not, so the possibility of loss is very big in my opinion if we only focus on pump and dump situations on certain altcoins
Precisely I think for beginners it's better to focus on top Altcoin trading, I think it will reduce the risk a little even though the percentage of profits is also small, we will be able to learn many things and get a lot of experience from trading the trades that we do.
535  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can you tell me the best indicator for long term investment? on: August 03, 2023, 08:52:12 AM
As the title says, I hope some of you can share your experience about the best indicators for your long term investment.
So far I've only invested on a cyclical basis, but I'd love to get your experience into consideration for my future investment plans.

Fausto Arta
There are many indicators and we have different points of view when deciding to invest long-term, personally I still believe in the historical price movements of Bitcoin from the past which makes my benchmarks and beliefs repeat to decide to invest long-term and also some time to be able to enter at the right time just like during a deep correction.
536  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to Hodl or buy the Dip? on: August 03, 2023, 08:23:21 AM
The opportunity to buy is still available in the market, because the price of Bitcoin has drop down to $28,681 few hours ago which is a sign that bear market is still on and it will be a good thing for you to be among the lucky investors that will smile when the price hit higher in the future. I don't think, is advisable for holders to sell their coins in this bearish market because the current price will not help them to make a good profits in this season but there is a hope for them to achieve a huge amount of profits before the end of this year 2023. Try everything possible in this season not to sell than to continue holding, because the way the price of Bitcoin is moving show that the price will definitely hit back $50,000 soon to allow long holders to experience huge amount of money in their holding.
to be able to reach a price of $ 50k this year in my opinion is very difficult, in the last few days the price of Bitcoin has decreased slowly and that is very reasonable in my opinion because it has happened several times this year and we do not know how far this correction will continue.
If to buy and invest in the long term, I think this is still a very good time, I have no doubt that it is for the future/long term.

And it's true, it is recommended not to sell when the market is bearish like before, because it is possible that this will pass and we will see a positive trend again.
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 03, 2023, 07:45:26 AM
Due to the departure of some important players of the team, the team has been somewhat weaker this season than last season, so Manchester City may be planning to strengthen their attacking line. The £86million Josko Gvardiol signing could be the best deal for Manchester City. This transfer was necessary to maintain their consistency in the next season. Since two midfielders have left from Manchester City, Manchester City should bring in a midfielder. If the midfield is not as strong as it used to be, the defense and forwards will not be able to play to their full potential. After the transfer of Josko Guardiol, Manchester City must think about their midfield.
I don't think that the Manchester City team will be weaker even though a number of players are left behind, but this team does need a few additional players to maintain stability when rotating players who are tired or injured during the season.
The Manchester City team already has a fairly solid foundation and game so even though there are several players coming or going it will not have a significant effect on the team's performance, this has been seen from last season when Pep rotated players in this squad.
538  Economy / Economics / Re: Am I a bad person if I manage to avoid taxes? (Hypothetical question) on: August 03, 2023, 07:13:17 AM
Well, look, money is not really a moral thing is more a matter of politics. In essence taxes are a money the government takes from you and spends in something. Now, politics is deciding what that is. In civilized countries that means that some groups of people will receive more than others.

So, it is a question of deciding if you are ok giving your money to "the collective" or you are ok trying to not do so. Is it more moral to pay?
Yes, I agree to that and paying taxes is not a benchmark for whether we will be moral or not, and I don't even trust the government that the tax money I have given will be managed properly.
It all depends on myself and even if I can avoid taxes, I will continue to do so and I don't consider it a crime, in fact many people in government who commit fraud on the tax money they receive is a real crime.
539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 03, 2023, 06:44:01 AM
Well this would be a great transfer for Inter but i dont think West Ham will give him under 30 mil so they can at least and try and get their money back. Its not easy to play in the premier league its much more different. Serie A is easier to play plus he is italian so i think he will do good if he goes back to Italy and play for Inter
There rarely reported about players from Italy in the media, mybe because the most Italians want to stay in Italy. Gianluca Scamacca, at 24 years old, has already played for many clubs, he was also in Holland and England. In Italy, he play for 5 clubs and almost every year in a different team. His biggest success was winning the Conference League with West Ham United and being the top scorer in the Coppa Italia. In England he gained a lot of experience and now it is time for him to become the best striker in Italy.
That's because right now not many top players come from Italy and maybe because they tend to be more comfortable and want to stay in Serie A teams is the reason.

Gianluca Scamacca is a potential player in my opinion, he is still very young so there are still many possibilities for him to continue to develop with Inter Milan.

West Ham wants a price of € 30 million while Inter Milan has now made an offer at a price of € 25 million, I think that is not much difference and it is still possible for negotiations to continue between these two teams.
540  Economy / Economics / Re: what do we thinking about investment target? on: August 03, 2023, 06:12:27 AM
HIGH RISK-HIGH RETURN : example, the stock market invests in many big companies like Facebook, Cocacola, we buy the shares of these companies and they use that money in their business. If they make a profit there, the share price goes up and if they don't make a profit, the share price goes down. And this is how the stock market process works. Stork market business is High risk-High return profit business. In the stock market, you can become rich very quickly and you can become poor very quickly. If you have proper knowledge about stock market then you can invest this stock market money.

I like this point, HIGH RISK-HIGH RETURN and this can be very easy to find in trading in the money market. yes. The world of Cryptocurrency or digital currency promises high returns when the value goes up. The one closest to me. For example, BTC has beaten other financial assets by penetrating returns of up to 354% in 2020.

Well, what is needed here is not really that. What is needed is that every investor must be careful  with investment risks, not just tempted by the opportunity for returns. Smart investor must be prepared because that risk can happen at any time and they know what they are investing in.
In any investment, we really have to understand and know about the risks and opportunities and usually every possibility of big or small profits will be proportional to the level of risk involved.

But apart from that, in Crypto investment in particular I have never been afraid of anything, because I really understand the risks and I think it's quite worth it with all the possible benefits.

And for future targets, I am very optimistic about the investment in crypto that I have done, regardless of whatever will happen in the future.
