521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any applications on Mobile to trade crypto? on: October 29, 2019, 10:20:53 AM
I’m rather curious about what are the best Crypto sites to trade Cryptocurrency & if they have a mobile application because my PC has broken down recently and I currently have only my smartphone (iPhone) with me right now that I can use in order to trade cryptocurrency.
Most of them are mobile friendly and I am also using mobile phone for trades sometimes.
I don't trust some trading apps unless it is directly from their site.
I would only download the app if the site is tried and tested and the link to download the app could be found on the site.
522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you waste your time for 5 cents worth of bitcoin? on: October 29, 2019, 02:30:08 AM

May I have a question for you? How much have you earned on Bitcoin faucets? In my opinion, this sounds like the lowest-profitable way to make money, is it not better to trade?
Of course it is the lowest profitable way to make money.
Faucet only gives you a small amount but the good thing about faucet is that you could use it for free,
So you are earning for free unlike in trading you need to have a capital in order to start.
The only risk that you would face in faucet is if the site isn't secure.
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In 2019 over 40m cryptocurrency wallets have been created on: October 28, 2019, 09:54:41 PM
More than 40 million cryptocurrency wallets have been created, as of mid-2019, according to market data provider Statista. The report from Statista revealed that there were only around 8 million digital asset wallets in 2016.

The latest numbers from Statista’s report are quite staggering when you consider they’re based on the growth of a single crypto wallet provider, Blockchain.com.

The London-based wallet provider offers one of the most widely-used wallet clients which includes support for Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Stellar (XLM), Paxos Standard Token (PAX), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH).

Full article
Yes the number of wallet increase for the past few years because of the Bitcoin popularity the crypto manage to attract new people.
But those 40 Million wallets doesn't really mean that it is the number of owner since we could create multiple wallets.
Maybe next time they could also know how many people are using crypto in each country or the percentage of people who are active in crypto on each country.
But this kind of information seems so hard to gather accurately.
524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin's price is disappointing!!! on: October 28, 2019, 09:13:00 PM
Why Altcoin has not been priced where Bitcoin Stable has been in the same place for a long time.
Bitcoin has never been stable and the alt-coin price isn't really disappointing at all,
We just need to find the right alt-coin to buy and don't fall for those new project that have a huge potential to be a scam.
525  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 20,000 USD by the year end. on: October 28, 2019, 04:22:39 PM

Its realistic Bitcoin halving is just around the corner, this news is coming just right on time I hope we can have some more of this before the end of the year, again the Chinese have something to do again with this bull run, history will repeat itself, I hope when it repeats we can record another peat again and this is another all-time high, it's been two years since the last one and the community are longing to have one more time and what could be the best time but the halving.
Yes I also think that it could happen FOMO could make it happen since people would try to get more BTC before halving.
They would try to buy now as much as possible since the price is low.
And once it started people would start buying it and the price could go up again in a fast phase.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is your opinion about MinexCoin on: October 27, 2019, 09:48:34 PM
They had a nice start but sadly they turn into a scam.
I once believe in their project and invested in them but I am glad that I manage to pull out all of my investment on them and manage to gain profit from their parking app.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coins price at bull run on: October 27, 2019, 08:27:02 PM
I know ETH would be on the list of the potential alt-coin that would increase in the next bull run,
However I don't think that it would be that high maybe around $500-800 would do but I don't really think that it would go all the way up to $1,000.
528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: He's thankful he found "Bitcoin" on: October 27, 2019, 06:26:47 PM
Newly seasoned investors really are picking on random coins and just hoping for the best which is really wrong, It really needs proper attention and researches your way into picking the right coin this can not be managed by just brute force alone and you are  using your money to brute force in the earning, I guess this is a matter of time for us to help people who are in need and in desperation in learning and earning with cryptocurrency for once this is an example of lost souls that are trying so bad with cryptocurreny.
What does this even mean?? You've posted something which isn't really relevant to the thread, I assume for your signature campaign.

This thread isn't about 'picking random coins', the thread is about someone being mis-sold on what Bitcoin SV is by a member of the BSV team - it's a classic tactic of the people involved with BSV to claim that it is simply Bitcoin. In reality, it's not. (you can argue that it is as it is a direct fork off the main chain, but IMO, by definition, the fact it is not the most recognized chain means that it is not the 'true' Bitcoin).
I don't see it as irrelevant to the topic.
Because clearly the person who got decieved just believe what he has been told.
For me it also looks like a random picking but with a help of another person's opinion.
If the person isn't just random picking his investment then he would know the difference in BSV and BTC because he have done his research.
529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: dormant addresses are waking up? on: October 26, 2019, 10:19:18 PM
One question OP, how did you 'specifically' found this addresses?
I am guessing you have been monitoring it before now to know when the owner made this move.
Anyways, three particular thing is involved here;
1) Perhaps the owner suddenly remembered he had some certain amount of Bitcoin

2) The owner has been hodling since and probably finally decided to make use of the funds (Not sure why he didn't spend not even one when the price was 20k though)

3) Someone else got hold of the private key or assess to the funds. (I hope this is not the case here)
Yes and I think the answer to your 2nd guess would be that the owner believes that it would continue to grow since back then there are so many speculation and we all thought that it was going to continue.
And the third one would be a good one too we don't know if the real owner still knows about their  crypto wallet and might have forgotten about it.
530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favorite way to receive money as a gift? Cash or digital.. on: October 26, 2019, 08:42:13 PM
Any form would be good for me and I would highly appreciate it.
Cash would be great since we could meet the one who would give us the gift and personally thanks them.
But crypto would be way more better since we know that it could rise up and we could get more if we hold it.
531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you waste your time for 5 cents worth of bitcoin? on: October 26, 2019, 07:58:18 PM
I am doing market research for a potential project.
If there was a website you could go to daily where you would earn anywhere from 1 cent - 10 cents worth of bitcoin just for clicking a button, would you do it?
No strings attached, no deposit required. You go to the website, push a button and 5 cents is deposited into your wallet. Would you go every day and do it, or is it not worth your time?
I think you are talking about a Bitcoin faucet and yes I would do it,
But only if it doesn't require so much time I mean just a single captcha and it is good to go ,
And also if it is really going to pay then it is definitely worth it.
The way you compute it is we would only need to spare some seconds per day and it would only be 10 days to have $1, So it isn't a bad deal, After all we are wasting countless hours on social media or watching some random stuff why not take a minute to earn some small amount?
532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto a single person? on: October 25, 2019, 09:47:10 PM
I suddenly feel that Satoshi Nakamoto is like me, is single.

Original post link:https://www.chainnode.com/post/383495#pid2706833
This question has been around ever since Bitcoin started .
There are some who believes that it is a group or organization,
Maybe it is the reason why Satoshi vanish without a trace they all want to have a normal life .
So we could never know if Satoshi is just a single person or a group.
533  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin hit a new low since 2018 on: October 25, 2019, 08:39:04 PM
I don't think so if I remember correctly the lowest price since 2018 was around $3K so it is still too far from it,
But we could never know what could happen in the future so there could be a possibilities that it could happen.
But right now I don't think that it would crash deep down back below $3K.
534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever been stolen or lost your BTC? on: October 25, 2019, 06:50:14 PM
I have lost some crypto but it wasn't BTC .
It was back on my first ever try on DEX,
I thought it was just like CEX and I tried to create an account (connect a new wallet) then I sent some erc20 tokens and leave.
Then I tried to open it on a different PC but I forget to save the private key I only have the Public key .
535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Loan to buy Bitcoin? on: October 25, 2019, 05:55:23 PM
I'm buying ~500$ in Bitcoin every month with part of my salary. I have a stable job and my company is doing good. I'm wondering if it worth to take 20.000$ to buy 2 BTC now and pay the 500$ as loan installment instead of buying sats every month. I believe in the potential of Bitcoin to reach 50k in a couple years, but it wouldn't be possible to buy near half of BTC at the 500$ rate, so this would be something like an "advance". Hypothetically (but still possible in some probability), if BTC collapses and never recover from 8k, I would still be paying this loan for about 3 years but wouldn't starve or something like that, it would just sux for a while, since I still have another source of income. I know it's not the place to ask I will do whatever I think it's best, but if you were in my position, would you do it?
I don't see a reason why you would take a loan if you are already accumulating monthly unless you believe that there would be a short pump and you would take advantage of it.
But if it is just to add up on your long term investment then I think it is better to stick with what you are already doing.
It would only be great if you are 100% sure that the price would increase to maximize your profit.
536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this why Bitcoin is crashing? on: October 24, 2019, 08:31:49 PM
Today the price has crashed low to $7500, this is something unexpected as the market have gained good momentum at $8000. There is no perfect reason behind the price crash. Whenever there is price crash, it gets attributed with something happening parallel to the same. This time some controversy is happening with Facebook and its libra.
It's normal price crashes and pump I think we must have gotten used to such things because these have become too usual in cryptocurrencies. I think just like there are no major reasons of pump same is the case with dumps. The charts look hilarious as we have just experienced a death crossover which means 50 day moving average has intersected 200 day Moving Average from above this is a pretty bearish sign and I think this is just beginning of a huge downfall which could follow.
Let's just hope that you're wrong people are now scared of the price ,
But I still believe that it would go back up before this year ends and I think that it would continue to rise because of the 2020 halving.
But who know's maybe it would continue to fall then it would soar high to the moon again.
537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Stress and Happiness on: October 23, 2019, 09:34:32 PM

How do you manage any possible stress coming from Bitcoin's volatility?
I would just try to ignore all of the negative news if there is some rumor or any kind of news that could stress me ,
Then I would try to avoid being connected to crypto for a while focus on other things and think positive .
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statement against people who say Bitcoin is a Scam on: October 23, 2019, 07:11:01 PM
It all depends on the person .
If I know that he is a closed minded person then I would just ignore it we couldn't do anything to them they already made up their mind.
But if I think that they just think of it as a scam because of their ignorance or lack of knowledge about crypto then it would be worth it to correct them and tell them how Bitcoin or crypto really works.
539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are People Losing Interest with Bitcoin? on: October 23, 2019, 06:13:26 PM

There seems to be a trend not yet recognized by many experts and that is the withering interest of the people on Bitcoin, especially if we compare today with the days of 2017 and early months of 2018. Of course, we could not expect that people will always like, search and talk about Bitcoin for years. There will always be a plateau and a possible downtrend, sometime somehow.

Is this something we have to accept or should we do something about this?

The difference between that time and now is back then Bitcoin is being hype,
People are making noise to attract new investors and now there aren't so many new investors and those newbie's who invested back in 2017-2018 I guess most of them actually left already due to the huge lost.
People didn't actually lose interest I think the market has been cleaned from the weak hands and ambitious people who thought that Bitcoin would make them instantly rich,
But reality hit them real hard and now most of them left the market.
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your most common superstitions? on: October 22, 2019, 11:25:22 PM
I usually cross my finger whenever I gamble but I don't know if you could call this superstitious but whenever I gamble I always put my other feet on the chair and rest my head on my knee.
