521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are the positive news and those users? on: November 17, 2019, 11:55:49 AM
There is a trend in this forum whenever there is a dump there will be a group of people who will spam the forum with FUD and then there are a set of people post unrealistic things will bitcoin will cross $50k if it pumps by few hundred dollars,  right now I don't see anyone predicting the price. Does it mean people have learnt no one can predict the price or just waiting for right moment again?
Well, I have seen a lot of this kind of theory, especially in the Speculation section. FUD can never be removed from folk here in this oscillating market and the same for people who think the price will hit a million. I'm pretty sure that we all knew that no one can predict the price of Bitcoin but still we created some speculation just to give some FUD or positive news for our own cause.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling on: November 16, 2019, 05:17:36 PM
It's hard to take a break from gambling if it's become a habit, what's your Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling, in my case my longest days of break from gambling is 30 days when I take a vacation from a place when there are no casinos, and no internet connection.
Its really been hard to take a break out from gambling especially if you are embedded in this habit. In my case, I've never been so much attach in gambling so its never been hard for me to take a break besides, I never used casino games to earn money but rather just a plain entertainment but if I win that would be a bonus I'd say. Anyway, if I had this habit probably I will take a longer brake if I totally lose all of my bankroll.
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many of you are Satoshi Millionaire? on: November 16, 2019, 04:52:14 PM
Used to be a Satoshi Millionaire. I remember the days where BTC was worth $1 and I got a few BTC from a guy for finding a spelling error in his website. I also remember losing 10 BTC to a Minecraft casino a couple years later, when I was fairly young and they were worth about $100 each, that was fun. I guess having 10 BTC means that I was a Satoshi Billionaire at one point, in fact.

I don't think 0.01 BTC is really that big a deal if you're from a first world country, most people can scrape together $80.
Just like you I can consider myself as Satoshi Millionaire. I remember back in the day Bitcoin price is just around $700 and look how much it is now, I never imagine that Bitcoin will this be expensive. If we will look back 0.01 worth of Bitcoin is not that pricey compared to what it is have now. This only means that Bitcoin's value is getting more extravagant as time passes by. If you've started to know or earn Bitcoin way back later 2017, I'm pretty sure you have been a Satoshi Millionaire or should I say Satoshi Billionaire.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are underutilizing Bitcoin on: November 16, 2019, 04:10:34 PM
under utilizing ?  no i didnt think so  . on todays society people sees bitcoin and values bitcoin as a precious gem in which they prefer to kept it than using it for spending although there are still some people that use their btc for paying or been using for both paying and investing  but this does not mean that they are underutilising or underestimating the power or the potential of bitcoin  . stable coins are also the future along with bitcoin because both are useful
You have a point, Folks nowadays doesn't saw Bitcoin as a currency but rather as an asset due for having unstable price and seeing it as a potential for long term investment. Folks are now preferably to hold this currency rather than to spend or convert this into fiat. Furthermore, I don't think folks are using this currency as a placeholder but instead this might be considered as somehow like trading in which transactions are made between cryptocurrency and their local currency or simply fiat.
525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin The King Of Crypto on: November 16, 2019, 03:35:29 PM

This chart is showing you the top 200 coins performance against bitcoin. It's clearly who is outperforming here. Bitcoin is the king of crypto. Alts got rekt specially when bitcoin made a move like Jagger on the 1st April. But that wasn't april's fools day! Or was it?

https://twitter.com/woonomic/status/1161320822344179720
There's no doubt that Bitcoin is the king of crypto. If you are going to have an analysis, for almost 10 years existence of Bitcoin most of altcoins are depending on its move for example if Bitcoin dip and so alts will do the same. In addition, most of crypto transaction such as trading and investments Bitcoin is always involved. Bitcoin is the most liquid in the market, and it also have the highest volume that is why it can be considered as King of Crypto.
526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For new people, when they go on the journey to bitcoin. on: November 16, 2019, 01:42:09 PM
For beginners  Bitcoin journey is not that easy to earn until they understand better. But once they start doing hard work and have knowledge in bitcoin it is very easy for them to earn more.

This is a good platform were people can do profit. In bitcoin you need a bit patience and hard work you gain more benefit out of it.

Than buying bitcoin one should earn it. Anybody can start bitcoin journey if you have good knowledge in bitcoin /crypto.
Indeed, learning Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not that hard as what you have think of and as long as you have passion to learn this things it won't be a problem. Once you have gained experience you could now earn more profit in various ways such as Trading, Investment and through Signature Campaigns upon this forum. 527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment on: November 15, 2019, 03:09:06 PM
I have seen people here as well as on internet who suggest people to go in Bitcoin whatever they earn from their income sources like Job, Home, Real Estate, Other assets etc.

This is not the wise choice. Whether you say good or bad to Warren Buffet but being one of the greatest investors he said " Dont put all your eggs in one basket."

Thing is we are still unsure about the future and adaptability of bitcoin or crypto currencies. What if someone enters in crypto with all what he got and loses due to some volatility?  I have seen people like Didi Taihuttu who sold everything to buy bitcoin. But have you ever thought what was his entry point? His entry point was less than 1000$ per bitcoin. By the way i discourage this behaviour of Didi Taihuttu to put all your money in a single thing.

So be sure where are you going in future and be realistic with your goals and just execute them. No one will have ever written on his grave that "He earned more than the market average."

Kindly dont give bad advice to people here and on internet. Just take it as an opportunity not as a thing to put all what you got.
It is true that we shouldn't put all of our eggs in one basket because there's a chance for it to lose it all in instant. It is true indeed that the future of cryptocurrency is vague yet risky, however, if you don't take any risk there will be no change will happen.
Giving such advice is not bad I'd say even take some random thoughts by others because this could serve only as a guide, besides its up to yourself if you will take the opinion or not. I haven't seen anything wrong about folks that are likely to share their opinion and experiences because this could be an inspiration for others to build up their own story.
528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Informed is Your Country's Police About Crypto? on: November 15, 2019, 02:32:00 PM
In my country, I see many sites that are Bitcoin ponzi and scams. These thrive because the police put in little effort in tacking them. I like the awareness being created by the Indian police. What is the awareness level of law enforcement about crypto in your country? If All Police Officers are Trained in Crypto... https://www.cryptoinfowatch.com/indian-police-train-officers-on-cryptocurrency/
Well, in my country our government has no issue regarding with the utilization of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Let's say it is between being illegal and legal. These cryptocurrencies are not already part of our constitution but I can't say that is illegal since I can still use it freely, as a matter of fact, there is an online wallet created here in my country that is affiliated with our banks. Moreover, it has been featured in local news however it was introduced with having a bad image.
529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should answer the important questions to increase Bitcoin adoption on: November 15, 2019, 11:42:08 AM
To be honest, this has nothing to do at all with the bitcoin adaption, these questions you have mentioned are answerable via google and bitcoin mass adaption is dependent on the majority of the world's population, and Government will be the key to all of that, but the bitcoin mass adaption seems to be a bit imposible to happen in the next following years because Governments are leading people to misunderstanding about cryptocurrency by feeding them false information about it.
In addition, big countries are now creating their own centralized digital currency through the use of Blockchain technology like China thus massive adoption of Bitcoin might not happen. Yeah, few countries like Japan had already legalized the utilization of Bitcoin and that is a good start for adoption but there's a high chance that total adoption across the world is impossible to happen.
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction at its Worst! on: November 14, 2019, 03:06:04 PM
I want to ask my fellow gamblers here, what is the worst thing you have done for your gambling hobby or habit? Have you come to the point of getting addicted to it and how did you counter it?
Based on my experienced, I also have encounter being greedy and addicted in gambling, since I won a huge amount of profit from playing poker and slots that every night I always experienced go at the casino just to trying to earn a huge amount of profit, but I ended up losing a lot of money and bankrupt. Today, I still gamble at the casino and on gambling sites, but i can now limit myself from playing gambling for leisure time only.
Personally, it is really hard to control ourself especially if we were on our surge of our emotion. For instance, we keep winning and winning we tend to forget to control our emotion because of joy and same if we keep losing we tend to forget as well because we were annoyed. It is easily to be said that you can control your emotions but hard to be done, once you get addicted into something it is hard to leave this aside.
531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that cryptos such as Bitcoin would be mainstream? on: November 14, 2019, 11:06:03 AM
I was just wondering if one day it would be possible for cryptos such as Bitcoin (BTC) OR Ethereum (ETC) to become mainstream one day for people to use for day to day transactions on a daily basis. Because I heard that the people in Zimbabwe with their economic difficulties use cryptocurrencies as a means of trade.

Would the world adopt cryptocurrency as a means of transaction, what do you guys think?

Well, there are now some countries have already using these cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin in their daily transaction however, there are some countries are now creating their own digital currency which is centralize. These centralized digital currency created out from Blockchain technology could be a hindrance to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to be mainstream for example we have DCEP for China.
532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Will You Do To Recover Bitcoin? on: November 14, 2019, 08:54:06 AM
In 2010, you came across a site that was giving away bitcoins. The site said it was free money so you signed up. You were logging in to figure out how it was money but couldn't. The last time you logged in you had more than 100 bitcoins. Later you forgot about the site until 2017 when a ponzi was advertising Bitcoin. Bitcoin? The name rang a bell and you stated hearing stories. You remembered you must have many bitcoins  somewhere but you can't even remember the name of the site. How would you recover your BTC?
That is why every action or transactions we've made should be put in a note. In my long time here in this industry I always keep saving a note where I used to sign up and the password even the username I've used on it. Remembering what website would really be a pain especially if you visit a lot of related websites. Actually, as you sign up on particular site, one of the requirement is your email so you could find what you are looking by just searching on your mail.
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coca cola bottlers use Blockchain on: November 14, 2019, 08:18:31 AM
That is really appreciable work for having blockchain in order to serve their purpose, but this is not any healthy news for the cryptocurrency platform, I think cryptocurrency platform should reform and a set of regulation will bring back to its credibility to the people and in this way, People will use this platform for their own life, But coca-cola is just using the blockchain system for their own purpose, it's true that when Blockchain system will get popularity then people will also use this system and Cryptocurrency will also get popularity in this way, It's really a good issue that such a giant company Coca Cola is using Blockchain system, so the time is not so far where people avail this system for everyday use.
Always find for the good side of this news, and yes you mentioned regarding to blockchain it will surely drag crypto once those people who will be interested regarding to this system. The chance of adopting not only blockchain but also the crypto currency industry. Good start even it's not directly for crypto but still there's a good side if we are optimistic regarding to this industry.
It seems Blockchain is now becoming a trend, it is now being used by big companies and even some countries. If Blockchain began to be used across the world there's a chance that it can drag up the cryptocurrencies as well. If Coca-Cola had acknowledge the utilization of Blockchain, other big companies will eventually use this kind of technology. This could give a hype for investors to place investment and that would definitely be a good cause for Crypto industry.
534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners now is your chance on: November 14, 2019, 07:44:08 AM
Sorry but i have too much altcoin within my portfolio since market collapse wherein i thought its a big opportunity to buy just to regain my losses. But unfortunately until now had no progress and it's been how many months and still struggling . So its really very skeptical to buy more especially if you know it's still uncertain in the future because of the current situation of market.
Same as you I have bunch of altcoins stored in my wallet and most of them are from bounty campaigns where I used to participate. I admit that some of them pofitable but some are let's say not that good. It is indeed good time to purchase some altcoins since we were in the bear market but make sure that you will be selective because some of them are not promising as we think hence, having an analysis first where to invest is necessary.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why will you invest in something you know nothing about? on: November 13, 2019, 04:31:05 PM
Please stop your whining here if your friend dont know nothing about blockchain and crypto then teach him so he can be independent

Don't let them invest in what they don't know about

how can you invest into somthing if you have no clue about what are you investing in at first place or is just about 21st century beg??
It is very risky to invest in something that you don't have any idea about. Crypto industry is easy to understand but if you don't have any knowledge about it will can easily deplete your funds. There's a lot of articles that discusses cryptocurrencies so it wouldn't be hard to explain it to your friend but make sure that he wanted to learn because no matter what you taught if he has no single interest it wouldn't work.
536  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Over? on: November 13, 2019, 03:20:20 PM
When someone says that era of Bitcoin has come to an end, it seems that this person just wants to attract attention to popularize his person. Here and there constantly hear some ridiculous speculation about the insolvency of cryptocurrencies. As a rule, people who make such statements can not give any plausible reasons to justify their loud statements.
It is normal in my opinion if there are people who say that because many people have said that. ranging from ordinary people to big figures they also many who criticize the existence of bitcoin to think that bitcoin will have no value. really average they just want to be exposed to the media for these comments

We have different perspective so we cannot say that everyone must agree on bitcoin.  Some people lose hope from bitcoin or crypto because they have some experience from losing and the treat everybody that they can lose their bitcoin.  As the moment, the demand would increase everyday that's why there are a lot of people who do all things to save their bitcoin in the future.
People who lose hope in Bitcoin are not truly knows what this currency have capabilities is. It is indeed true that we have different perspective in Bitcoin, some people saw it as a threat and some as opportunity, we cannot insist our ideals into the others.
Regarding if it is over now for Bitcoin, I think not as long as there is demand it won't die. Bitcoin has already have a community who willing to support besides, there are now countries have acknowledge this technology and being used in their daily transaction hence, it is far for Bitcoin to be over.
537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Looking to Spend $2 Billion on Blockchain by 2023 on: November 13, 2019, 02:05:23 PM
it's such a great relief to see the Chinese country finally adopting the blockchain technology with such a huge investment. I think the government of Chinese has now realized the huge impact and economic growth that blockchain technology can offer to them hence the reason for spending such a huge amount of money on this initiative.
Even so, I think this will not have a huge impact from Bitcoin in general, remember that Bitcoin is different from Blockchain. The fact that China will release their own digital currency this might be used as a support for their existing currency. Perhaps, this big country wanted to be the first country that will use this kind of technology so that they can dominate the market, monitor its people and probably to defeat the US in economic war.
538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What type of Cryptocurrency is used in the Deep Web for transactions? on: November 13, 2019, 11:22:10 AM
Bitcoin is very commonly used in the dark web but due to the high transaction fees, some others prefer to use altcoins. Like Monero, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoincash, and Dash. But Litecoin has emerged as the second-most popular cryptocurrency that being used in the Darkweb.

See this link, https://www.investopedia.com/news/litecoin-gains-ground-bitcoin-dark-web/

As we can see, Litecoin has gained 30% that has made transactions in the Darkweb aside from Bitcoin that mainly use.
I'm not entirely sure what are the tokens have been used in deep web since I got no access on it but thanks for this information. We all know that Bitcoin is hundred percent being use in this kind of transaction but make me wonder is why Litecoin? Probably because it has low transaction fees, faster processing compared to Bitcoin and can be stored in offline as well. Accoding to investopedia, way back 2017 Monero, Ethereum and Bitcoin are the token preferably use by folks in the deep web market, now is Litecoin, it seems the coins being used in this transaction are changing every year.
539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never possible earn free bitcoin without work. on: November 13, 2019, 05:30:24 AM

People have the worng ideas for earn free bitcoin without work, if you want earn free bitcoin then you need more skills with hard working. There are a number of ways in which you can earn free Bitcoin, but for that you need to be competent in those things and work hard:

1. Writing about Bitcoin: If you have skills about bitcoin with the cryptocurrency market industry General knowledge then you can share and also earn bitcoin.

2. Micro Earning : Micro earning websites pay you in Bitcoin for completing small tasks. In return you can get a (very) small amount of Bitcoin.

3. BitcoinTalk Signature Campaigns: This is the most and popular ways you can earn more bitcoin with your expensive skills. If you want participate signature campaign then you need good rank and high post quality. Because here campaign manager will be follow your post quality so knowledge must have the crypto world.

4. Paid-to-Click PTC Websites: There are many PTC websites that will pay negligible amounts in Bitcoin for clicks and views theirs adds
This website allows users to choose between viewing ads that are 5 seconds, 10 seconds or 20 seconds, with different fees being awarded for each but you need to searching trust proof site with payment proof.

5. Bitcoin Trading: There is lot of potential to make money on trading in Bitcoin, but it takes a level of expertise and knowledge about the bitcoin market.

6. Bitcoin Investment : If you can be patient then you can make a lot of profit through the investment of Bitcoin. When the price of bitcoin goes down, you can buy and hold bitcoin and if you have enough patience time then after you will earn extra bitcoin profit.

Thanks to all..
That is true earn bitcoin is not really easy you have to work on it before you can get bitcoin like free satoshi you need to do some captcha before you get the price of small amount of bitcoin. In also here in bitcointalk you need also to register and wait if you are lucky to choose of the one participants. So every satoshi you get and accumulate you need a hard work before you get it.
Precisely, there's no such thing as free in this industry even if it is a little amount it's still require few effort like in captcha you have mentioned. One way you could easily get a coins/tokens is through airdrop from different campaigns but you still need to fill up or register to qualify to the airdrop. In real life you need to strive in order to achieve what you want to obtain and same here in this industry. In conclusion, we need to put an effort whether it is big effort or not in order to obtain the profit we wanted.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WILL Bounty campaigns Ever Keep to their Rules and Regulations on: November 12, 2019, 04:53:38 PM
Regulation of bounty campaign depend with how success raise soft cap and hard cap an ICO project, if find many ICO not get hard cap target coin selling their bounty campaign will failed and bounty participants only get thanks words from ICO and bounty campaign manager, before waste your time with bounty campaign you have check which one bounty campaign have get higher amount of coin selling.
That is why before participating in bounty campaigns you are require to check out first the development of the project if they were able to reach their cops. Usually, projects alter their rules and regulation just to meet their goal or what option will he more efficient for example, a project tend to extend because they haven't reach their softcap or hardcap, they also alter the allocation of funds just to fit or accommodate it for the hunters. For some reason we couldn't blame then because as bear marker comes investors are gradually decreasing unlike way back 2017.
