What's with all the dick stroking in this thread?

Also fight, fight, fight!
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's hard as hell to make good trades these days on: March 07, 2014, 04:21:10 AM
I remember in December and January when altcoins were so much easier to profit from. Now, nearly all coins are in a depression (prob because there are WAY too many now). You get a little pump that's nearly impossible to predict until it happens, then it crashes if you miss it by an hour. Maza and Aur were rare opportunities these days, coins just suck in general right now.

Congrats at finally figuring out cryptos!!!! The big pumps only last for a month or two to get cryptos in the news.  Even the shittiest trader can turn a profit.  Then they all get sold off and dry up for months at a time where only the bots can make money and even then it is pennies on the dollar.

What did you think cryptos were easy money?  If they were why would anyone put any money in the stock markets.  They would all be here.
523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Undervalued coins on: March 07, 2014, 04:17:38 AM
BTC and then LTC.  The rest are crap.
524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] Infinitecoin trading sites info, IFC on: March 07, 2014, 04:09:53 AM
too many exchanges and not enough adoption by consumers.  pumping IFC on to new exchanges only destroys its value as you spread people that want to exchange it thin.  If IFC was adopted by more exchanges organically because its its popularity (transaction rate per block) then it would be healthy to see so many exchanges.  But you have diluted the coins value by forcing it on so many exchanges like that.

I was a strong support of IFC, but no longer.  I have to exit the coin until I see managed better than this.

526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you like Auroracoin, you're going to LOVE Mazacoin (MZC)! on: March 07, 2014, 04:00:29 AM
I have. I can't find a single document from the Tribe itself even discussing MazaCoin, let alone adopting it as their currency.
You will find announcements here:
http://cryptominers.freeforums.org/official-announcements-f4.html
You will find the Memorandum of Agreement.
Which says precisely nothing about them adopting it as a currency.
I think that portion has been completely made up.
Payu was had a talk about the coin at the NYC Bitcoin Center,  I'm sure he was asked this very question.
Anyway, you are just speculating at this point.

I am stating that I can find no statement from the tribe that they have adopted MazaCoin as a currency.
You are speculating that they have adopted it. There seems to be no basis for that speculation.

exactly.  The only news has come from the developer as a proxy to the tribe.

Reach down, grab a pair, and tell him he is the pussy that you know you are.

Why am I giving notice? Simply because in the past when I use alt coin chains as test subjects, people tend to lose coins.

~BCX~

So, you are publicly announcing that you intend to engage in an activity that could result in arbitrary financial loss to people unknown, by willfully exploiting a weakness in an altcoin ?

How is this different than planting a bomb in a public place, warning everyone that you have done so, and assuring them that if they don't clear the area immediately they could get hurt or die ?

~Wow~

Don't worry BCX is a pussy he just bullshits on the forums.  He never actually attacked a coin successfully.  Stop being a pussy and crying on a forum.

You need to work on your presentation style friend.

Look if you are going to get on your knees and wimper to someone who threatens you then I will call you on it and tell you to be a man about it.  Don't hide behind idle threats about regulations, consumer protection, and homeland security, cyberbullying bullshit.  Reach down, grab a pair, and tell him he is the pussy that you know you are.
529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Aurora for the US on: March 07, 2014, 02:10:28 AM
please don't. we don't need more scams. If you are a marketing/website why don't you help out real devs promote existing coins.

Ok, wasn't thinking scam coin but thanks for the feedback. Last I checked AUR is still #4 in market cap. It crashed because of hype, not design.

There is no design, it is just a carbon copy.

As some of you know one of my interest is in testing the security of cryptocoins. Over the past 4 years I have "tested" so many I have lost count but one thing remains true. No matter what the so called improvement is, it always has an exploit.

Kimoto Gravity Well is one such improvement that solves a problem that AUR is having at the moment and that is moving at the speed of death as well purportedly protects against 51%. While KGW does protect somewhat against a 51% attack, it opens up a huge hole in the time warp exploit via the diff adjust first deployed against Geist Geld back in mid 2011 and a modded versions used last year on a few Scrypt coins and SHA coins with great success.

Long story short, KGW opens up a flank where a newly modded Time Warp Exploit can be deployed. I have sandbox tested it on AUR and it seems to do the trick in grand fashion but that is with a small amount of nethash in the sandbox. I need a live chain to test it on. So considering the vast amount of request I have received to take out this 50% premine scam, I thought it would be a good candidate to test on.

Why am I giving notice? Simply because in the past when I use alt coin chains as test subjects, people tend to lose coins. In particular, my ol' buddy Kelsey lost a ton last year in GME LOL. Block 5400 or when ever KGW kicks in will be the starting point. This will give all of you enough time to either cold store your AUR or dump them until the chain is fixed, if it can be after the test.

All the crap that is about to drop out of the sky on top of you, that is a direct result of your own actions.

Vives gladio, gladio morietur.

I don;t think you have the balls to test Mazacoin.  You still haven't prove you can 51% attack any coin.  I keep asking for blockchain proof and yo never produce it.  Well, I'm calling you out.  You have a change to once and for all prove you can 51% attack a coin with Mazacoin,  if you can't do it in the next 24 hours, hell 48 hours then I will reply to every post you do on bitcointalk about how you can't 51% attack any coin even though you say to can.  Jackass.

535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: scrypt coins difficulty has increased a lot in just a week/month? on: March 07, 2014, 01:13:57 AM
It's probably not the diff, more the prices going through the floor.

+1
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Merge Mining Scrypt Coins - Get 4 times your hash power! DOGE/LTC/DGC/CAT/42 on: March 07, 2014, 01:12:01 AM
This isn't how merged mining works. Coins need to patched (and therefore hardforked) for them to be merge mineable.

Namecoin example: https://github.com/namecoin/namecoin/blob/namecoinq/src/auxpow.cpp

Whatever is going on here, it certainly isn't merged mining.

Exactly.  Im not sure if the dev is scamming or an idiot.  This is grossly inefficient.    Actually a net loss trying to mine too many coins at the same time.  Merge mining sucks, and ruined a lot a good sha256 coins.
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Aurora for the US on: March 07, 2014, 01:00:57 AM
Okay so the model works. Here is the question, would it work in the US?

- Easy to verify identity using SSN / ID verification service (like the one Coinbase uses)
- Scheduled Airdrop like Aurora
- Similar specs, etc.

I'm a marketing/website guy. Any experienced devs want to hash this out with me?

Aurora crashed because it was a scam.  First scam, shame on you, second scam shame on me. You will not get the idiots Aururacoin did because they figured out it was a scam.  So it really wont work.  Sorry.  Try a new more innovative scam.
