The "zero" issue has been fixed now.

5202  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The 2nd Stage Server Con ( Currently ~$2,000,000 ) 2 MILLION DOLLARS!! on: December 21, 2013, 08:03:59 PM

Yeah, yesterday that said Balance was 0. Now it says:

> Balance Stuck   0.06272614   Available   0.00387334

What the fuck Ukyo? How can my Balance be stuck? I never even tried to withdraw...

Fucking scam.

Its still zero'ed out for me when i logged into the claim portal.

Only for information. Nexus 6 asked me to do all the payments as escrow and now all 5 winners paid their shares. Next step would be nexus 6 moving the shares.
5204  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] LocalBitcoins.com - a location-based bitcoin to cash marketplace on: December 20, 2013, 10:22:04 PM
What the... i cant believe it. I sent bitcoins to localbitcoins only to be able to contact a buyer of bitcoins i want to trade in cash. Without that i would not been able to contact him. Since he doesnt answer i wanted to contact another buyer but now my previous bitcoin amount is gone. Stuck with the previous buyer. I now have to upload another 4.31 bitcoins only to contact another buyer.

Sorry. Localbitcoins is dead for me now. This is so stupid... sorry. This website once was ok but that is too stupid. And i dont see a way how to get the previous bitcoins out again. At least i cant imagine how my bitcoins can get lost since i want cash. But if i really get useless USD for my Bitcoins only because localbitcoins wants some fee (or whatever they think handling it this way) then i will be really angry. I only wanted to contact the buyer with the least bitcoins to upload. I dont need USD at all.

Any alternative to localbitcoins?

By the way... the website is totally broken in FF 26.
First, you can contact any buyer or seller and not lose your BTC or USD.  If you want to contact a BTC seller just open a contract for any amount and start sending messages.

To contact a BTC buyer simply open up a contract for the minimum amount they will accept and start sending messages.  People do this all the time.

Now that you are done talking (or they do not respond) you should be able to simply cancel the contract and get your BTC back.

Let me know if that does not work.  It should.

I use localbitcoins all the time.  It is a great site.  I have never had any issues with it at all so I am very surprised you are having an issue.

Yes... it appears i dont lose the BTC. But i have to upload them. Im not sure what happens if i cancel a trade before getting an answer. Can the other party answer then still? If not i would need to upload as many bitcoins as needed to meet the minimum exchange value of each trader only to get in touch with them. That wasnt the case a year ago or so.

Any amount isnt possible. You need at least to meet the minimum trading. If a user trades 2000-5000 then you need to upload bitcoins for 2000 fiat. Only to get in touch.

I cancelled now. And i could send them back to my wallet.

I guess its a great site if you would need the bitcoins at the website anyway. Because you want to use SEPA or similar things. But only to being able to contact traders to exchange bitcoins and cash in person you need to upload bitcoins in the height of each traders minimum trading volume? Im not convinced.

You are right - bitcoin-otc is a pain, and has much less liquidity. It was made long before Localbitcoins.

What about meet-ups of bitcoiners in your area? Are there any meetup.com bitcoin groups, or Buttonwood exchanges, or something like Craigslist?

Perhaps, if you can find even a merchant who accepts btc, they will give you paper for it.

Nothing like that here. I know one trader in my target city but he doesnt have enough fiat now. Looks like i have to use my bank account then as alternative.

Anyway... i liked localbitcoins when i simply could contact traders without the need of uploading many bitcoins... at least there is no risk that the coins vanish because the other trader accepts "the offer" even though it might be for a wrong currency or for a wrong value.
5205  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] LocalBitcoins.com - a location-based bitcoin to cash marketplace on: December 20, 2013, 02:39:43 PM

I dont see how i could search for my location to find a local exchanger. The website seems to be for trades over internet but i need cash and want to buy in person.
I can ask in the thread but i doubt that there will be an exchanger near to me then.

Its known more than a day now. I hope that wasnt "the sign of good will" that should silence the users.

Was anyone able to withdraw a higher amount? I could have withdraw 9BTC but for some reason it didnt work because i could log in with my password but when withdrawing it told me the password is wrong. I thought its a glitch but when im very pessimistic i could think thats on purpose. Loading a couple bitcoins to the portal, let some smaller amounts withdraw, block bigger amounts in the meanwhile, and then zero out everything like its a glitch. Such things were successful ways to silence people in the past.

Im not saying thats the case... this only came to mind... now that withdraws stopped again and the glitch wasnt fixed even though it was known more than a day now.
5208  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Moving Forward/Resolution Process on: December 20, 2013, 12:52:17 AM
Zeros for me too now... though it wouldnt matter anyway until the password glitch isnt fixed.

I check this forum daily, and have contributed thoughts and comments along the way.
I have a considerable amount tied up myself, but choose to go the higher route.
The 'shenanigans' I speak of would be pertaining to piling court documents and added stress into an already stressful situation. This in my opinion would solve nothing at this point...it would only prolong and get in the way of what I hope will be a 100% solution.
Let the man work. I'm getting my money back regardless.

I dont speak about sueing. I speak about getting infos. The infos ukyo cant give because of legal reasons. I guess a lawyer should get the info. Sueing probably wouldnt help but without the info i cant judge what this all is. Its simply too hard to me to get what reason should prevent ukyo from speaking.

Your confidence is a nice thing... but i think you simply werent in the wheels of scams before. This confidence is something one has when he wants to believe. I want to believe too but i saw these kind of developments too often to be happy. I guess you dont have to wait long until you get told that someone stole your coins or so... nothing can be done anymore... the coins will be paid back from personal earnings over time. Such promises have been done by others already and we know now it wont ever happen again since these were clear scams. The no information policy of ukyo gives me no confidence that this will take a good end somehow.

Is there a chance for change? I would like my full investment play all possible games, not one third for each percent?
5210  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 1.9 released on: December 18, 2013, 08:11:38 PM
I dont get the new design. I cant prioritize an address but i can chose send from for an address. But shortly after, probably after a redraw, the window with the addresses in send-tab is gone again. I fill the amount, target and so on but no window for the source address. I have to rightclick the sending address again.

What disturbs too is that the list of addresses seems to be redrawn even more often. So when i want to copy a detail from an address description i end up doing it more than once because everything was reset. The same goes when i want to change the size of columns. When i dont close and restart electrum fast then the setting is gone and reset.
When i check addresses to find a certain one its extremely annoying to have to scroll down again and again too.

I dont see why the whole list has to be rewritten all the time. If details change why not simply change the details?

I now will try to be fast enough being able to send from the address i want.
5211  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Moving Forward/Resolution Process on: December 18, 2013, 07:02:49 PM
6.175% seems to be the magic number...I look forward to the future when the remainder is paid.

I appreciate on the portal site how it keeps track of the remaining that is stuck. It's reassuring that the record keeping side of things is still legit.

To all the people moving towards getting a lawyer, please just settle down. He clearly isn't going anywhere, he clearly was/is at Neo headquarters, things seem to be moving in a direction of resolution (a lil).
Chill out. It's getting tiresome. The more time spent with all those shenanigans the less time he/they will have to come up with a solution.

I am patient. With that said, I want what's mine.

I guess you dont wait since 2 months checking the forum daily for news and you dont have much at stake. If i risk one bitcoin only i would be relaxed too.
Ukyo never spent much time on shenanigans when he had work. Obviously he cant do much yet.
5212  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Moving Forward/Resolution Process on: December 18, 2013, 06:56:53 PM
Well, the system is using the exact same password authentication method as the login.

Thats why i can login at the portal. Only when i try to withdraw i get that errormessage.
5213  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 1.9 released on: December 18, 2013, 06:43:54 PM
1.9.6 seems to work except the language setting doesnt work.
5214  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [InsaneBTC - CLOSED] ***PLEASE VERIFY YOUR ADDRESSES*** 4 KnC Neptune > +12TH/s on: December 17, 2013, 11:11:45 PM
... I bought in because it was mega cheap
... there's not really anything else out there and they are out of stock.

Thats what i meant. This offer wont come back for that price. In the past, if no other miners of a cheap class where available anymore, and no alternatives too the miners or shares were resold higher.

But i dont want to clutter that thread anymore... sorry akw... Smiley
5215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : Invest in 1% House Edge Dice Game on: December 17, 2013, 10:49:23 PM
I still have a hard time understanding it. I see that random values have no past. Its random. But random doesnt look random anymore the more values you have. So even when you throw a perfect dice 10,000 times and you get these results:
1-2000
2-2000
3-3000
4-2000
5-2000
6-1000

then the more values you add you can be sure that the 3 and the 6 will be thrown nearly the same amount of times like any other digit at a big enough amount of throws. So that means there IS a force that enforces that result. That doesnt mean you cant get results like above. Since its random but something works sorting it.

If just-dice for some reason gets 10 or even 100 times more games per day then you can be pretty sure the real chart will go more and more smooth to the 1% house advantage. It will become harder and harder for random to break that the more values are involved.

When i see the current chart i "think" its inevitable that it will drop below the 1% line in a timeframe. Maybe 1 week, but might be months too of course because, like one wrote, there is no past. But it will go to 1% at one point because stochastic's say so. So one could guess there is the possibility of the dice results above. But the chance is very slim because something works against. So why should it be different here?

Saying that... i dont see in the chart how one could invest trying to exploit that safely without losing more at the end than profiting since its way too random.

I only want to say the more games are played the higher the chance it will meet the 1% line.

I think i have to keep it invested. Even though it looks dangerously away from the 1% line and i feel like the force of more values will force it to break the 1% line again... making the invested bitcoins lose quite much. But i cant be sure that it wont grow the next month at this high level.

Its probably useless to think about.  Undecided
5216  Economy / Securities / Re: [Weexchange issue] The fall of Ukyo III - Updates and references on: December 17, 2013, 10:14:57 PM
I withdrew approx 6% successfully. 94% to go, but it's a start.

...
This is my prediction:
Within the next week, you and others will receive a small fraction of the money that has been taken from you.  This will create enough "good will" to quiet the detractors, generate fresh hope and buy more time.
Given a choice between hope and nothing, 9 out of 10 people chose hope.

Though i thought it would be a bit more than 6%.  Never stop learning Smiley

Shows on the other hand that it means way more work and time for ukyo to work back the missing coins. Practically gone if he has to really work them back instead being able to reclaim them.
5217  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Moving Forward/Resolution Process on: December 17, 2013, 10:13:21 PM
I cant withdraw. I get the error message "error: Invalid Password" always. I guess your portal is cutting passwords since my pass is very long with special signs of all kinds. Username LYCOZ.

But im not happy at all. 6.175% is a breadcrumb and i cant imagine why you have to be silent about the reason. It simply makes no sense to me.

You claim its a legal reason. You being forced to be silent by government is unlikely since cryptocircus claimed he would have spoken about way earlier but accepts your wish. Not speaking about things only could make sense in order to not inform the delinquent of observations done to him. If thats the case... you really think a potential hacker will come back so you can follow his traces? He already knows what he did and he cant be warned with you coming out with the truth. He will avoid using any of his previous ways anyway if he is smart only a small portion.

Bah... im so tired of this communication politics.

Will i get to know the reason when i go the lawyer route??? Unfortunately the forum lawyer still didnt answer. Doesnt make the best impression to behave that way.

... at the moment all went out-of-stock (also the 100 already refunded to user pharker) as the Neptunes went out-of-stock at KnC too! Smiley

Some users want refund as if they could get a better offer somewhere. Even though the bitcoinprice is even way lower now and the place in queue for these shares are one of the first knc neptunes. Looks like shortsighted decisions to me.
Anyway... others will be happy... Smiley

what happened to Pirate after he was caught ?

^^^
perhaps they can sit in the same cell as Pirate, Ian, Tradefortress, Ukyo and what.. literally 30 other people ?
Ahhh wait.. I always get tropical Island mixed up with Jail cell.. my mistake !

It wont change if bitcoiners life after the motto of "not throwing good money after bad money". Pirate was catched... labcoin scammer will be catched too. And it looks like bitcoiners changed mind. They will go after them.

The case is still ongoing i believe. Didnt read of a verdict yet.
5220  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Moving Forward/Resolution Process on: December 16, 2013, 11:52:54 PM
Worth noticing is that prior to BitFunder closing down these USA Laws caused BTC Trading Corp - btct.co to wind down as well.
But somehow Burnside (the exchange operator) managed to sent out every last satoshi to its users without any hiccups.
He even went for extra efforts patching bitcoind daemon just to be able to sent out the whole remaining dust.

No law was prohibiting him from returning users' property.

What US-LAWS? I mean if its the SEC then someone believes they would take half the bitcoins and let half of it in the wallet? Or is it really the hacker story that has to be hunted down now? If its a hacker... you know the hacker already knows you search him. No use in silence.
This better makes sense once explained.
