5201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FA Cup and EFL Cup Prediction Thread on: March 01, 2020, 01:11:28 PM
The Carabao cup final takes place this evening, and it's Manchester City Vs Aston Villa in this one, I am sure the English fa would have wanted a bigger encounter in this final for better marketing, but Villa deserve credit for getting here and they will have a shot at the title this evening.

Who's going with an upset today? After Liverpool were thrashed 3 nil yesterday, anything is possible right. I am not giving Villa any chance though, Clean victory for city imo, their first trophy this season and their their third Carabao cup on the spin.
5202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin is used in direct value. on: March 01, 2020, 12:01:38 PM
If you do not want to convert your bitcoins, then don't. There are a lot of people holding millions of dollars in bitcoins and are yet to convert it into another currency. Hodlers are another sect of people who hold bitcoins for a very long time in its digital form.

But then in the end is it wrong for one to convert bitcoins to their fiat currencies for spending? I don't think so, it's encouraging to deal with merchants who are receptive of the bitcoin, but right now in the world there are only about a handful of them, so converting your bitcoins to something else is somewhat the only option when you want to spend it, and for me it's not inimical to its(Bitcoins)development.
5203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 29, 2020, 07:04:58 PM
It seems the unbeaten run has come to an end for Liverpool, Watford lead Liverpool by three goals to nil, who would have believed this, who would have thought about this, football is just unpredictable.

Liverpool, Definite Epl champions. Going unbeaten? No chance, it's over! Hurray Arsenal, you're still the only invincibles.
5204  Other / Meta / Re: Can you create a signature campaign for OP posts? on: February 29, 2020, 11:30:51 AM
Imagine a situation were, let's say about 30 participants in a campaign have to create close to 25 threads threads weekly, that's over 750 threads created by participants of that campaign alone in just one week, it's so much and a lot of them will be LQ threads.

And another thing is that it would encourage users to just make threads and not add anything to the discussion in the thread since it won't count in their weekly requirements, they'll just make 25 threads and allow others to do the "talking" in them.
5205  Other / Meta / Re: How much time a day do you dedicate to Bitcointalk? on: February 28, 2020, 03:46:15 AM
I cannot say I spend X or Y time on the forum, I prefer to put it this way: I spend all the free time i have in a day here on most days, so the time I spend here mostly depends on the free time I have a day, if I have a totally free day, then I'll be here 10-15 hours, if I have a very busy schedule, then I might not even be here at all(though those days are rare).
5206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 27, 2020, 06:55:10 PM
Which professional footballer will go out there to play knowing that the virus is on the loose  Grin
I personally think everything may come to a standstill if there is a pandemic which will be quite sad
I think when the league and maybe also the government are certain that things are now fully out of control and they cannot guarantee the safety of the players, then games will be postponed till further notice. But as long as games are still ongoing,(though in an empty stadium)then it's is still very much safe for the players to go out there and do their job and no doubt they will.

This virus is taking out some of the fun this league has had since the beginning, it's sad that things have to get to this stage, but we can hope that very soon all this will end and the beautiful game continue without anything to worry about.
5207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin halving make cryptocurrencies reach all time high again? on: February 27, 2020, 04:21:35 PM
It's the "halving" time of the year. Users need to be experimental in their speculations of the market due to the upcoming halving. It's an event that carries the possibility of increasing the price, as it has done in the past, but speculating it may get up as high as an all time high is rather optimistic at its apex level and you should not be motivated to invest more money for that reason.

You can study on how the previous halving went, though that doesn't mean this years halving would follow the exact same path, but it can give one an understanding on what to expect and how to invest(wisely).
5208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: February 27, 2020, 02:34:36 AM
It means Real Madrid must score at least 2 goals in the second leg on City's home.
And not just about them and the goals they need to score, they must also stop/prevent city from scoring the entire 90 minutes at the Etihad, the more city scores there, the lesser Madrids chances are. Ramos is also out and madrids bad run continue, they will score in the second leg surely, but City would still outscore them Imo.

I saw a different City(in the UCL)in this game, they played with a real hunger and fire, the ban may just be the catalyst that guides city to the trophy this season.
5209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus ain't helping on: February 26, 2020, 02:19:09 PM
We all have a new hope for crypto this year and no one saw coronavirus outbreak coming, if this isn't contained anytime soon all dreams might be nothing but dreams this year, Coronavirus ain't helping at all
I find its absolutely ludicrous that you worry about how the corona virus is hampering the rise in cryptocurrencies that you envisaged was coming at the start of the year, shouldn't you be rather concerned with the lives that are at risk of the virus, the lives lost and countries/cities(maybe just Wuhan) that are ravaged by this virus.

If there is to be any bull run, what gives you the impression it'll be stopped by the corona virus?
5210  Other / Meta / Re: + 2000 Activity & + 2000 Merit on: February 26, 2020, 01:59:07 PM
I’ll raise a glass to my fellow coiners as we head into the next parabolic bull run over the next 2 years.
You'll not only be raising a glass, you'll also be raising the EPL title at the end of the season Grin, I follow your posts on the gambling section(mostly premier league discussion)mostly and I love the way you express yourself, congrats.
I’d be interested to see how many others have over 2000 Activity & over 2000 Merit, I think we might be a very exclusive group here Wink
It will definitely be an exclusive one of ground breaking, long lasting and self made legendaries.
5211  Other / Meta / Re: Posting reserve? on: February 26, 2020, 06:29:19 AM
Using the signature of a campaign, the user must complete the tasks given by the manager if the user wants to be paid. Users who have many alt accounts are very likely that they will not have much time to stay in the forum to read and make quality posts...
No user is ever compulsorily enrolled into a signature campaign, it is a personal and individualistic decision that one makes on their own, having checked how frequently they post and of it will work in tandem with the rules of the campaign. Signature campaign should not be something to hold on to not to write posts in the right order and sensibly, as well fulfilling what is also required as a participant in any campaign.

If it's 15, 20, 25 etc posts required, isn't it more logical to apply for the one that wouldn't be any encumbrance to you and make you falter in terms of "making sense''.  Now those who are enrolled in multiple campaigns at once, you must then be able to write as good as lord Alfred Tennyson to make sense on all of your alts, believing you just must have something else to do in real life.
5212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 26, 2020, 05:26:22 AM
Some of football speculators believe next season there will be big exodus from Manchester City because of the punishment effects from uefa and one from those players will possibly to leave City is Kevin de Bruyne and the latest rumour from this player linked to Barcelona and Real Madrid but the price for this player won't be cheap and it's worth to 120 million euro
I wouldn't be calling any player who leaves a "traitor", the champions league is every players dream to play in, and if possible win. That's why big payers play in big teams that are always present in the Champions League so they get an opportunity to win the title at least once or if possible more during their career.

City haven't won the UCL before, but they've been present for some years now, and most of those players know their playing time is almost up. Now with city out two years in a row, they(the players)may never have the chance to play with a big team in the UCL(this might force some of them to leave). Many of them have pledged their allegiance to city, not to leave, we'll have to see about that; it's easier said than done.
5213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects are now showing up on: February 25, 2020, 05:21:59 PM
You are absolutely right, this year is the year many new projects emerge, although optimistic about the new project, a research is the main key that must be done. Learn from past events when joining a project without doing a research.
When the project stops halfway, who wants to be blamed for the time and thought that has been expended
Is there any statistical analysis that shows the numerous new projects that started this year, because other than i find it difficult to believe that there have been so many projects this year, compared or far more than in the past(i've not been seeing them). But whether or not that is case, finding more about the project is the first point of note, the really indispensable part.
5214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UEFA Tickets to be distributed via Blockchain! on: February 25, 2020, 04:35:42 PM
Blockchain is becoming incredibly popular, but does this mean that the world can change and look at crypto?
When you say "can the world change... " do you mean a change that will herald only cryptocurrency being used, without fiat or any other method of payments, that wish may never come to pass.
The blockchain may be more popular that cryptocurrency, and it's understandable, it's more viable to be used in more areas, even in ones that are not related to digital currencies, just as its used in the OP. Cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology are working well imo, more adoptions will happen, but the world won't use crypto only.
5215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 25, 2020, 07:09:23 AM
EPL is right in front of Liverpool. I don't want to lose to Atletico in CL again because I was really disappointed if I lost again later in the second leg.
Athletico Madrid pose a different challenge to Liverpool than the EPL teams, Athletico Madrids set up is suitable in countering what Liverpool poses attack wise, and they also have a near impeccable defense and the first leg showed that. Liverpool didn't have any shot on target and that should be the first time that has happened this season, the second leg is in the fortress Arnfield, you'll always fancy Liverpool against any team there, but maybe just Athletico.

EPl is a lost course for the other teams already, Liverpool are going to be champions, we can talk about something else right now: top four battle, Europa league qualification, relegation battle etc
5216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Existing investors are responsible for Bitcoin & Ethereum ‘s recent bull run. on: February 25, 2020, 04:05:29 AM
How can the fear of a virus cause investors to either buy or sell bitcoins, it's difficult, even impossible to understand, there have and will always be speculations on this issue(rise/fall), but this one has no stronghold in my senses, except maybe if you can provide reasons to believe you. "Trading by existing investors" may have "increased"(believable) and also increased the price, but why "due to the fear of corona virus".
5217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't just hold your altcoins for a long time! on: February 25, 2020, 03:47:17 AM
If a survey is to be undertaken on users who continuously check back with the telegram groups of their projects after the bounty is over, I think only but 10% would be for the affirmative. It's not their fault imo, many of this groups become useless immediately the bounty is over, no updates and no active admin to control what goes on in the group.

This tokens are also always very low in price, so majority are always holding for a very long time, as the years run down, it's only natural to lose interest in the respective groups of this projects, especially for those who are holding numerous different tokens.
5218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Current ICO Project Looks a Little & Is Different From Previous Years? on: February 24, 2020, 10:30:56 PM
yes, it is true that the ICO project currently looks lonely, especially for the signature campaign slot. there are only a few projects that accept slots for signature campaigns.
I haven't noticed this, maybe due in part that I have currently no interest whatsoever in what goes on with ICOs, if they no longer or have fewer Signature campaign ICOs is not a bad news for me as I am concerned with the amount of garbage many of their participants "dump" in here, giving moderators heavier tasks to do. They can stick with the social media bounties imo.
Unfortunately, I can not advise you because I do not see any good ICO Bounty companies on the market.
I do not see any good one as well, this bounties are well too risky, seeing how the recent ico projects have fared, does anyone need an advice to know they should flee from them.
5219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 24, 2020, 04:01:32 PM
IF they will play, for now the most probable situation is to play the game without people at the stadium.
This is the best option to make sure the season would end as at when due and also to avoid a packed and rushed schedule when the end of the season is close. It's sad, but we have to live with this, the virus we hope is curtailed quickly enough, but also people's safety comes first, so an empty stadium would work, even if it'll make the match boring and unspectacular, but in this situation, it's unavoidable.
I really hope that Ronaldo is able to score again in the next game but in the next match Juventus will face Inter on (2/3/2020) and I think this will be a fierce match..
Ronaldo is on an impressive scoring streak of late. Top of the table clashes always come with its difficulty, but if there's any man worthy of overcoming that, it's Ronaldo.
5220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NHCT is a scam? on: February 24, 2020, 09:23:44 AM
How long?
For as long as you are ready to continue investing, they themselves would also continue to make exit scams, fake and useless tokens etc, you do not expect scammers to retreat when they can and are still defrauding people successfully.
but they are now giving no response.
Not a new system of operation at all, fake promises and at the end everyone is left with an empty and deserted group with no admin or any hope of ROI, you can even try predicting the end from the beginning with this ICOs this days and be right 9/10 times.
