5201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in predictions of "experts" about the bitcoin price? on: September 08, 2018, 05:19:40 AM
I believe that we should never trust 100% in any prediction about it, even if that person is presented as the greatest expert or master on the subject, because we must always keep in mind that at the beginning of 2017, when the price of bitcoin was just in $1,000, none of those alleged "gurus" was able to predict that the price of bitcoin would reach $20k some months later. And besides, neither was able to predict the tremendous collapse that the market would suffer next.

If those relevant historical events went completely unnoticed by the "experts", I think none of them has real bases to present themselves these days announcing that bitcoin will reach this or that price by the end of the year.
Well, most of the so called "experts" just blabber some predictions and do some wild guesses. Some just give out random guesses with no facts to back their predictions. Others just use mathematical analysis by reading previous charts/price to give out the future price. But, this is crypto market. Nothing is predictable. You never know what is going to happen. The price might jump or fall without any prior notice.
5202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you aware that some Banks accept Bitcoin? on: September 08, 2018, 05:02:58 AM
Well, I never been heard a bank here in my county that accepts bitcoin just like what you have said buddy that you can use your bitcoin crypto currency as normal just like as fiat currency which you can deposit and withdraw your Bitcoin in that certain bank. It is a good thing to know that there are banks that are not afraid to Bitcoin but rather makes a good connection with the crypto currencies.
It is NOT a good thing! Banks and crypto currencies are not meant for each other. In fact bitcoin and other crypto currencies were made to abolish the "centralized" banking system and give full financial freedom to a person. If banks get involved with crypto currencies, there is no way the currency will remain "decentralized". It ends up being controlled by the bank.
5203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is just one coin... on: September 08, 2018, 05:00:21 AM
Right now, the price of bitcoin is very volatile. The technology is still on its infant stage and there is much to develop. People know that they current price is not reflecting the actual value of bitcoin. Keeping this in mind, they are taking this towards their own advantage by considering it as a form of investment. Don't you think at least this is helping us to get peoples attention? Eventually, when people gets to know more about it, they will start adopting it and use it as a normal currency by replacing fiat.
5204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why exchange want to bank details for kyc??? on: September 08, 2018, 04:49:26 AM
Never heard of any exchange that wants your bank account details to complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) form. You probably misunderstood something. They might want your bank A/C details if you try to deposit/withdraw fiat  so that your account gets connected to your bank. I see no other reason. Usually a government issues ID is enough for such verification.
5205  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will the bull run start? on: September 07, 2018, 03:51:52 PM
We never know. The market is unpredictable. Don't you think if everyone knew when the "bull" run will start, everything would actually end up different? Everyone would jump on board assuming the bull run will start, and thus cause the run to start earlier than expected. You didn't lose anything, you still have the same amount of the BTC you were holding. Keep holding and the price might recover anytime soon.
5206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 thing you have to check before Investing in ICO company. on: September 07, 2018, 01:49:02 PM
Few points you mentioned are just vague. Just reading the whitepaper won't help. They can just blabber what ever they want on their white paper. The main thing we need to figure out is that if they can deliver what they promised. Most project fails to give us even a working demo platform, let alone completing a full project. Secondly, you trust their social media at all. Fake traffics and interactions can be made easily by just spending few bucks.
5207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that the HODL approach is good bitcoin? on: September 06, 2018, 05:12:02 PM
Actually depends on what you are holding and the market situation. If it is some altcoins, whose price is quite unstable and has no sign of rising back up, then it is better to not hold. Sometimes, the best option is to let go off your investment even if it means that you will make some loss. If you sell off your investment, you might open opportunity to invest on other coins that will give you better profit than the ones you are holding right now.
5208  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will actually happen if bitcoin price continue to drop? on: September 06, 2018, 04:16:23 PM
As the price keeps on dropping, it will open opportunity for new investors to enter the market. The lower price will attract new investors and they will start investing. As they invest, the price will start going back up again and which will cause the current investors to keep on holding their investment. Once a desired level is reached, some of the investors will start selling off their coins and the price might start dropping again. This cycle will keep on continuing unless some sort of manipulation takes place which will cause some sort of anomaly in the market.
5209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just got a little extra money and want to invest in crypto, should I? on: September 06, 2018, 04:12:06 PM
Hi I just got some extra money and I'm looking to invest, I want to invest in BTC but the price is too high for me,  what do you think will be the next BTC
one you can buy low and make a good profit when it burst?

You don't have to own a whole bitcoin. Just buy a fraction of it and keep holding. You can't predict when the price will fall or rise, but you do know that in the long run it will eventually rise, so just invest and keep holding.
If you want to invest on altcoins, then make a list of trending coins. Analyze those coins and look for coins that are undervalued and has good potential. Invest on those coins. Don't go around asking suggestions from people since they will tend to be biased towards the coins they have invested.
5210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you use Bitcoin as a practical currency? on: September 06, 2018, 03:37:25 PM
Hello All, I have a question.
If I want to use bitcoin as practical or daily currency then what should I do?
Is American express or VISA offer such kind of opportunity so far?
-snip-
You could get physical debit-card issued by wavecrest through different sites (like advcash). You could deposit using bitcoin and top up your card and use it anywhere starting from POS transactions to withdrawing money from atms. But sadly VISA and MASTERCARD cut ties with those companies that issue cards and only allows few selected issuers that are fully regulating their users (starting from KYC verification to region restriction).
5211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I LOVE PANIC SELLERS on: September 06, 2018, 02:24:25 PM
In a trading perspective, "panic selling" isn't always a bad thing to be honest. It just completely depends on what price point did they sell the coins.

We peaked at $7380 in the past few days. When the prices were once again dropping, I'm pretty sure a certain number of people "panic sold" at around $7000 because they might have anticipated that the prices will drop more; and here we are today at $6400. They could've sold their coins at $7300 and bought back at the current price. In the end, they end up with more BTC than they used to. Panic selling isn't completely bad(but probably mostly is). It just depends on the circumstances.
So in the end it becomes more like a ponzi scheme, where the person who exits last suffers the most? It is like the seller that sold at the last moment ended up being the victim. And if you are saying the sellers end up buying more btc at lower price, then they actually aren't "panic" sellers. They are more like the pumpers and dumpers.
5212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you start trading? on: September 06, 2018, 01:07:35 PM
You start by learning. You don't directly jump to the market and start investing to trade. You will end up making huge losses. Learn the market first. How it works and analyze the previous charts. You will get a fair idea about the fluctuation of the price. Next, start low, gain experience and then start investing more. If you execute everything properly, you will end up with a decent amount of profit from trading every month.
5213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment or free? on: September 06, 2018, 12:20:57 PM
Depends on what do you mean by "win". If you think value of a coin matters, then isn't the answer obvious? Coins that are given for free (through air drops and other ways) will actually have lower value than other coins. This is because the coins were given for free and people eventually dumps them. More over, supply of such coins are also higher. But value does not define the success of a coin. It is the feature and the community which will allow them to survive the market. So coins bought through investment or given out free, both may be successful.
5214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptocurrency so difficult to understand on: September 06, 2018, 12:07:40 AM
Obviously if you are going to talk in dept about the technology (blockchain and cryptography stuffs), they won't understand anything unless they have some prior knowledge about the basics. They don't actually need to know that too. All you need to do is teach them how to send/receive bitcoins, to make sure the transaction took place and how to secure their funds. That is it. Now, if they don't understand how to do these, then they are probably living under a cave.
5215  Economy / Speculation / Re: The value of Bitcoin is rising again? on: September 05, 2018, 11:57:42 PM
I think the price of Bitcoin will continue to rise because many people have given up the altcoin and switched to Bitcoin and USDT!
That is not the real case. Look at the market again. The price fell sharply by $350 within just 30 minutes! And it is slowly declining again  Undecided. Right now around $6,650. Might go down further due to rumors about almost $1 billion btc about to be dumped is being spread. The market has been quite unpredictable in last few days. Who knows what we have in the future.
5216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can't we accept bitcoin is going through developmental stages on: September 05, 2018, 05:30:52 PM
It still hasn't been a decade since bitcoin was invented. So we can clearly say that the technology is fairly very new and still on its developement stage. It might take another decade for it to be fully developed and few more years for people to start accepting as a mainstream currency. Just give it some more time and we might see the full potential in the future.
5217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government announce bitcoin is illegal? on: September 05, 2018, 03:15:34 PM
I don't think any country (accept few underdeveloped countries) actually announced bitcoin illegal to be used or anything like that. Most of them just states that they are not a legal tender and is not recognized as a legal currency by them. This does not mean that using bitcoin is illegal. You can still use them without any issue as long as you are reporting your tax or not committing any crime.
5218  Economy / Economics / Re: blockchain and voting on: September 05, 2018, 03:11:33 PM
This actually would bring total transparency during an election. But do you think people are ready? Do you think they will understand the technology required for voting? Are they actually ready or will end up hesitating to vote? Too many questions, one answer: They will need to be educated about the technology before these are implemented.
5219  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading, campaigns, gambling or mining? on: September 05, 2018, 08:32:30 AM
If you are a skill trader, then you can actually earn good by trading. You can take advantage of the price fluctuation and make some decent profit off it. But remember, it is not  as easy as it sounds. You will have to have full understanding of the market before you can try.
Campaigns are just decent enough to have some beer money. You won't be able to lead your life from those earnings.
Gambling is not a form of earning money. It never was and you should never think of it as a source of income. You gamble for fun and if you are lucky enough, you make some profit.
I would say, investing on coins directly is better than mining right now.
5220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get carried away! on: September 04, 2018, 11:43:56 PM
Turning the bear market into a profit making channel is a tough challenge in becoming a good investor. However, it is a must have skill for crypto success, so everyone should learn purchasing in bottom market. Don't panic for sell, buy more and hold.
Wouldn't say that it is a "tough challenge". As long as you can control yourself (emotions), you will be doing fine during a bearish market. You should be investing more only when you are willing to take more risk.So if you are risking, then start investing more during the period of price fall. The more it dips, the more you will be investing.
