5221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 16, 2020, 03:18:56 AM
We always chase our loses and we are greedy most of the time in gambling, which is so hard to stop. The casinos job is to entertain us but more importantly to collect money from us, and they have to invest on good machines, and a more elegant design so many will feel comfortable playing with them and we cannot blame them for that. If you really want to win in gambling, stop playing because as long as you play time will come for you to lose money.

That's right! people should consider playing moderately instead of going to play recklessly with their salary. In our place, they make it a habit to play every time they get their 15 days salary thinking that it will double their money. It didn't, instead, they lose it all and ended up getting some debt from the other people. This kind of mindset should be changed because it is unhealthy both for the player and his family. Only a few people can master such skills where they will stop themselves to play if they sense nothing is going right their way but most of the time, people who play are like the people above.
5222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lebanon to launch digital currency in face of economic and financial turmoil on: November 16, 2020, 02:56:41 AM
They really need it because their country is not doing well both their economy and country are at the stake of being ruin because of their corrupt government. This time they want to make their own digital currency which is good. This is the time of cryptocurrency and some countries that are not doing well with their economy should quickly switch to this strategy. Most of the people in their country don't understand what's going on because most of them are illiterate about cryptocurrency but after a few months, everything will highlight to them by their government.

5224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does China FUD matter anymore? on: November 15, 2020, 06:23:15 AM
Based on the following, I'm assuming the so-called continued crackdown on crypto in China is becoming less and less relevant if users are merely moving away from Chinese exchanges. Anyone have more understanding of this? It also seems that China changes it's mind so often that almost nothing legally sticks in the end anyway.

Quote from: CoinDesk
Bitcoin flows to Binance from Huobi reached an all-time high since the Huobi chief operating officer, Robin Zhu, allegedly went missing on Nov. 2. According to data provided by CryptoQuant, a total number of 18,652 bitcoin, worth nearly $300 million, was transferred from Huobi to Binance from that day until Nov. 11.

Source: https://www.coindesk.com/china-exchanges-crackdown-binance-huobi-okex

I still remember the "China FUD" in the past, it used to be one of the worst types of FUD I thought. Now it just reads like old news going round in a circle again.

Base on the movement of the market, the kind of news like this won't matter that much anymore in the crypto industry. However, they have some better ways to hide the main reason for his disappearance and most of the crypto users leave nothing but to speculate. Okex exchange, on the other hand, has something fishy with their exchanges, they don't give us a valid reason on why our funds stuck on their exchange. there are rumors that this Huobi incident links to what is happening in the Okex exchange right now where they disable the withdrawal for about a month now. Anyway, that just some rumors but still, we want to know the truth.

5225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yet another Defi platform got hacked again on: November 15, 2020, 05:56:02 AM
They are vulnerable to attacks too. Just like DEX and centralized exchanges, they are not exempted from the attacks and abused of hackers. $2m of DAI is a big amount of loss. The reason why everybody has to think before investing to a Defi is because you're allowing your money to stay on them and if an attack like this occurred, it's likely that your fund will also be part of it which is we don't want to happen. That's one major reason why it's better for me to buy and hold.

They really need to make their system fully secured or else those scammers will rampage their platform in no time. These bad guys are just taking some caution when they attacked some exchanges, I feel bad for that Defi platform they might not have any alternative to recover the funds of their customers. Now the incidents have been made public, those who are frowned at this kind of attack, need to revise their strategies and check the possible reasons why those hacked got some access to that victim's Defi platform.
5226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 15, 2020, 05:30:22 AM
I can still consider Rose as one of the best players in the NBA though.
He had huge potential, and of course, he could be one of the best players, but injuries are haunting him throughout his career.  I don't even remember the number of his injuries (ACL, meniscus, ankle, etc...)

The guy is lucky to walk tbh.
I wish we could know what would happen to him if he is injury free. Could be at HOF discussion right now.

despite those years where he hasn't played much and injury caught him in the middle of crucial seasons, he showed outstanding skills these last two years where he proved he can still play and have a chance to bring their team to the championship if given a chance to play with the star players in this era. Where do you think D-Rose should go this upcoming season?

5227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Great news for XRP coin holders? on: November 15, 2020, 04:23:37 AM
Will it really work? I mean I still have some decent amount of XRP in my possession because I believe they will gonna increase like a double amount if those people invest in bitcoin and ETH will convert their assets into XRP someday. I don't know if something like this airdrop will trigger the price in the market to increase, because even though much legit and good news than this one doesn't really get the price of XRP back to about $0.4 again in the crypto market.
5228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers forced into unpaid leave on: November 15, 2020, 04:02:22 AM
Their employers have gambled with their lives and future, those who are left need to think of some way to get out of such situations in the future. They really need to consider and think about what happened to their job mates. That's fine when they think of another way like finding another job because that job that they're currently working is not gonna promise them some good things in the future. despite their hard work, they still consider their employees to be useless and just give them unpaid leave.
5229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could destroy economy on: November 15, 2020, 03:42:16 AM
Despite all the good things that Bitcoin has done to the world economy, you only mention some past negative things that have been resolved years ago because of some mere misunderstanding. I think OP is just a blast from the past guy who actually didn't the good things about Bitcoin. more or less, we are going into it's next 10 years where things are not like the way we had in the last 10 years. Big-time companies are making their own effort to invest or to turn some of their assets into bitcoin because they know the result is a higher percentage positive in the next 10 years and despite this kind of this rubbish you are talking about, they will pursue their desire to invest on bitcoin.
5230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitter accounts of crypto gambling sites on: November 15, 2020, 03:17:23 AM
Do they also have some facebook accounts? What could be the reason most of them uses twitter social media was that really a good platform to promote gambling website and projects?
Although they have Facebook accounts that you can find links on their websites, Twitter is more friendly for cryptocurrency and for crypto gambling sites. Crypto influencers or KOLs in crypto prefer to use Twitter accounts to spread news and messages. They don't like to use Facebook.
most gambling sites have different social media platform connections but Twitter is the most popular among those , this is why mostly social media campaigns that are available on the forum are usually twitter  . facebook still have a better marketing service for those that are serious for promoting thier brands and are willing to pay more and Facebook is more larger but these things could be the reason why advertisers prefer twitter because it's not too huge ( less competition ) and can promote in a lesser cost .

There are only a few people who used Facebook to get updates with their favorite crypto news. Most of the time they will read about it on Twitter because it is more convenient and less stressful. When you go to Twitter you will have every news of those twitter pages in one place when you follow them all. unlike when you are here in the forum, you need to go to their respective threads to get some new information, and most of the time they are not updated.
5231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal finally allowed BTC on: November 15, 2020, 02:54:58 AM

Honestly say, many people are being sceptical with this knowing how strictly PayPal freezes its users' accounts for little reason. I don't know if they will treat crypto accounts differently or not, but imagine getting your accounts frozen for 6 months before they decide to give them back to you or not.

With their past experience, they need to follow every rule that PayPal implements so that there will be no problem. 6 months is not a joke when you have all your assets in that account. Despite all of the rumors, Paypal still pursues their desire to caught the massive trends with cryptocurrency these days. The main reason for this is their research has proved that investing in such industries will bring them money. otherwise, we are not talking about them here today.
5232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know the difference between Bitcoin and bitcoin? on: November 12, 2020, 01:11:12 PM
The thing is, they don't appear red in my Grammarly when I tried to post both words it seems like both of them are correct until you elaborate to us the difference between these two. I understand it well when you say about the difference between the two words you mentioned. It usually means quantity when you are posting on the Altcoin section but in this section upper case should be used at some point. Thanks for clarifying it to us, this seems to be a small thing but it's a piece of good information you got here.

5234  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Anyone else feeling bad for Trump? on: November 12, 2020, 12:14:26 PM
Feeling bad for Trump? Why?
The guy has a beautiful wife, several dream houses, more money than I'll ever have...

But I do feel bad for the millions of Americans who voted for him.

Yeah! the real thing is, he lost nothing in this election he has still his own company assets. The only thing he lost is the chair, where he doesn't fit to sit there. people have already cast their votes and the majority of them decides to dethrone Trump in his position because he didn't do anything good to the public when he was their President.
5235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UPS AND DOWNS IN BOUNTY ACTIVITIES on: November 11, 2020, 06:24:47 AM
I think Newbies that started bounty activities this year 2020 never knew or understand fully how this space works. i think they need to research properly on this fourm on past topics posted here about how frustrating and annoying it could be. campaigning for projects that will suddenly turn their back on hunters meanwhile at the beginning they were friendly. i have seen so many projects pay hunters and most projects launched this year. it looks like we are back in the good old days.

As you join campaigns and earn your pay, remember that it could be frustrating at some point especially after the bitcoin bull run run that is been experienced recently.
My suggestion, build your knowledge and move to the services section for quality campaigns
the altcoin bounty section is highly unpredictable.

Some of my friends have already left the site due to the problematic ending of the bounty section because they thought it's not really worth their time. most of the projects are not real and they are just created to confuse both investors and bounty participants. nevertheless, we need to be vigilant when choosing those projects. When I was a bounty hunter I joined some legit bounties and scam projects at the same time. Of course, it's frustrating when you know the project you are promoting is a big scam just after you finish promoting them. the least you can do here is take your time and patience to study more about bounties. reading will give you lots of benefits and will not give you the same mistakes as you did last time.
5236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: November 11, 2020, 05:50:25 AM

Same here, usually XRP and doge for transaction. Bitcoin price is a big factor when it comes to my gameplay. Though I seldom play, but when it does I check the conversion rates first. Same here, that spending bitcoin looks expensive especially when price is mooning.

As you said Altcoins like XRP is really helpful when the price of BTC is rising and the current price of XRP doesn't give us some hard time to transact with it. unlike bitcoin and sometimes ETH does have some high transaction fees. When you spend them like spending on transaction fees the payment doesn't make any sense at all. since you have so many options like converting it to XRP before sending it to your own wallet, you can discount a decent amount of money.
5237  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is lying or cheating in support of stealing an election okay? on: November 11, 2020, 03:43:20 AM
First of all, there are things you need to consider whether you do it for the sake of the country or just for yourself. Also if you think doing so will result in a good thing to happened or you are not sure about the outcome of it. Either way, if it's for the sake of the country because we already witnessed how Trump runs his government. why not gamble for Biden? maybe he can do the contrary and make America great again. if not, at least you've made some contribution to try to change the era of foolishness which Trump did when he was in power.
5238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long until we can bet with bitcoin in real life casinos? on: November 11, 2020, 03:21:59 AM
I don't think that this is possible to cause people in the casino hates delay or something like that. they prepare something like bitcoin convert to the chips of the casino first then they will play with that. Besides, there are already online casino and gambling site that accepts bitcoin and some other cryptocurrencies.
5239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happened to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency? on: November 11, 2020, 02:58:50 AM
The Chinese government released a digital currency yuan, but this digital currency will be fully controlled by the Central Bank of China, and issued through commercial banks.  different from bitcoin and other crypto, the system is decentralized.  I think China's digital currency development will be like fiat.  and bitcoin will always survive with its system which makes its volatility move quickly.  so the Chinese digital currency cannot influence bitcoin.

Their so-called cryptocurrencies is another stable coin to be precise, it doesn't affect BTC in any way. it has nothing to do with the movement of the bitcoin price in the market nor the current demand of the investors. they act in the different pages of the book, they don't need each other to collaborate because Bitcoin has been there for a long time. It survive the most crucial decline in the market and most of all it increases its price even in the middle of pandemic.
5240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to "gamble" with ponzi scheme crypto scam services? on: November 10, 2020, 08:04:12 AM
I think I do not need to explain what I mean by ponzi crypto scam. Every week I see at least ten new ponzi scheme scams.

They often offer something like 100% interest per 24h (or something similar). They commonly run for quite a few weeks (or months sometimes) before "they go scam" publicly. The obvious idea how to exploit them is to invest something small at the first day, withdraw it as fast as possible and repeat just with the interests from the previous bet (and of course take some money away from every successful round).

Has anyone tried that? Have you been successful? Is this kind of gambling popular/common. Has it name?

When I was first into cryptocurrency about 4 years ago, there are lots of people who tried to invest in a Ponzi scheme like that and even try to encourage people to invest while it's still paying. Unfortunately, those people who say that is one of those culprits to fool people. as soon as the other will join the risky Ponzi schemes, that's when they lose all their money.

If someone wants to know how this fraud works he can go to this site to learn more about it.
