5221  Other / Meta / Suggestion For Reporting and Deletion Of Posts on: December 02, 2019, 03:30:00 AM
Sometimes, I get my posts deleted and more often than not, reason is not clear.

Proposed solution:

We receive PM whenever our post gets deleted right, so how about that message also contain reason for it's deletion?

I understand this could get difficult for mods, so may be just cross link the 'report reason' under it? Without name of user who reported it of course.

What you think?
5222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How you can say that? on: November 30, 2019, 02:43:07 AM
We don't have 'decentralized' approach to convert fiat to crypto, do we? So we use what we have. However, I do agree people putting their crypto to centralized exchanges, and when they lose it they blame the 'centralization', here it's their mistake in the first place.
5223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who has entered a shop (non-BTC accepting) and asked if they will accept Crypto? on: November 30, 2019, 02:38:38 AM
Not irl shops, since I live in kinda rural area, but have asked some online service offering websites, they usually say they will think about it lol
5224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Signal Premium?? on: November 29, 2019, 03:26:35 AM
No it's not worth, if you are really into trading then start learning TA/Indicators etc by your own, learn from your mistakes and be self sufficient. There is already tons of info available on internet.
5225  Other / Meta / Re: Should we report questions that can be easily answered? on: November 27, 2019, 03:27:47 AM
You should be able to distinguish legit questions and ones meant for the sake of post count, if you find it legit, reply with link that explains the question and ask op to lock the thread, for spam questions, just report it.
5226  Other / Meta / Re: Face-Off v0.1 - The Original Game for Bitcointalk Members on: November 27, 2019, 03:24:08 AM
For latecomers, there is no point to play this game, you are most likely gonna lose.
5227  Other / Meta / Re: Cancel reports? on: November 27, 2019, 03:13:53 AM
I don't track reported posts and think that doing so would be pretty pointless. Just be little careful with posts you report and anyway having some reports bad doesn't mean end of world.

If you could let us choose avatar directly from device that would be great.
5229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does provably fair environment ensure the survival of gambling houses. on: November 26, 2019, 03:09:32 AM
There is fixed house edge, even when player wins there will be small percentage that goes to the house, technically house can never lose in long term.
5230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: November 26, 2019, 03:03:19 AM
clarify your ways of stopping gambling.

Don't start gambling at all, it has literally no benefit to one's well being. Don't start and you won't have to find 'ways' to stop it.
Short but concise Cheesy.

This is for me the best way to stop gambling - to not gamble at all. I don't see any benefits of gambling in one's life since most of the time, gamblers often lose their money and worse they are losing more funds than they are winning. In this way, you don't need to learn how to control yourself, be discipline etc. Just don't gamble and your'e fine.

Gambling has no benefits at all for those who looks at the money side only but ignores the fun/entertainment part of gambling.
Sure if we look at those who lost much money then we will say that gambling is just a place to lose money but we forget about the other positive sides such as having fun with friends, getting new friends, playing game with a chance to win (winning or losing is the effect of gambling obviously) but we should not force ourselves to gamble to win money. Just play it for fun with your extra money that you can afford to lose.

Even video games have those positive sides you mentioned.

Looking forward to some integrations with online retailers for example.

It's not token's purpose but yeah whatever.

I also think that listing on CoinGecko or CMC would bring a lot of extra awareness and credibility to the project.

It's already listed there. That's what last two comments are about.
5233  Local / Off-Topic (India) / [Indian Edition] How did you come up with your username? on: November 24, 2019, 07:19:14 AM
Some users here have unique names and I am curious to know reasons behind them.

I will start with mine, because you got to be the change you want to see in the world.

GTA 3 Liberty city was the first video game I played on PC. I was registering for Indian forum (ethicalhavoc to be precise), it asked me to setup username, my enlightened brain removed 'y' and choose username as 'libert', because liberty sounds like female name and I am male.

...and it has been my online alias ever since.

Then how come it's libert19? You might wonder.

I had account named 'libert' here but it got hacked in infamous bitcointalk hack and since it didn't have much activity I didn't bother to recover it and created new one. As I read some numerology, it said 1 and 9 numbers are good for me. So I settled with 'libert19'.

So what's story behind your username?

The daily volume of the GOLD token exceeds 5 mln dollars!
This is another great milestone for GOLD Token and am glad to witness it. When you guys started out little did i know that we would reach this far and as of now... it's quite apparent that you are just getting started.
You totally right when you said the Digital Gold token team just getting started because I just find out that Gold is already listed on coinmarketcap 5days back and I don't know why BM don't mention this when he posted the news about the new milestone.

Same here, today when I woke up I had a thought that they should list gold on coingecko/cmc for visibility.

But then I was really amazed to see it already listed there 🙌

No kidding, I really thought about gold this morning, may be because of current market  Tongue
5235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this really a good plan? on: November 23, 2019, 03:59:24 AM
ICOs don't really much have choice, top tier exchanges charge hefty fees, if they try to get listed there, it would take away most of their funds. So they stay with mid-low tier exchanges.
5236  Other / Meta / Re: The inclusion of large, unnecessary images in threads. Opinions? on: November 22, 2019, 02:07:01 AM
Not that of a big deal on mobile browser(s). Quite possibly, these users posted threads from mobile devices and might not be aware of the pain to desktop users

5237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: November 21, 2019, 03:17:54 AM

GOLD trading volume on BitForex exceeds $5 Million for this week!

This is an important advance and hopes that in the following week the trading volume will continue to increase, and this will cause the strong GOLD coins to prevent DUMP prices, and be able to withstand all those who throw their coins randomly.

I doubt about dumping as it's pegged to the real gold.
Yes the team also dares to say, they don't care a lot of cell orders, prices will remain stable, that's the great answer I get from the team, they dare to say that of course they have the courage to receive lots of sales and purchases that are professionals

You do realize Digital gold doesn't have much exposure, so what you see as sell orders are most likely from team themselves. As they previously mentioned, they will provide liquidity on exchanges.

Anyway, even if it gets dumped, it will be the easiest money for buyers. Buy from exchanges, sell on digital gold's marketplace, and soon enough market will stabilize itself, who will say no to easy money?
5238  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: [GOOD NEWS] P2P Exchange LocalCryptos Launches [NO KYC] on: November 21, 2019, 03:02:44 AM
I hope they will not ask the users to confirm their identity once they got more reputation in their business. They just changed their name right? Because these features were available in localethereum as well.

This. New launchers lure customers with 'no kyc' and once they are established a bit, they start asking for kyc.

Anyway, in p2p these days, buyers reversing transaction cases are pretty rampant, how are they gonna deal with that?
5239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is True Decentralization a Myth? on: November 20, 2019, 03:27:06 AM
It's a funny discussion, since it proves that more and more people is starting to actually care about this topic, meanwhile we see everyone trade their favourite cryptocurrencies on centralized exchanges, which is as close to as centralized as you can get. It boggles me every single day, that no one seems to scare, I guess everyone is just in it for the money Haha!  Grin

Well, money is certainly a primary point, ask yourself a question, would you care about BTC if it had no value?
5240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a Developer To Take Over a Dead Project on: November 20, 2019, 03:22:04 AM
I hope you are not gonna pay workers with that dead projects coin/token, anyway imo it would rather be good idea to start a fresh a project.
