5221  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - theyoungmillionaire u=1180530 on: March 20, 2020, 03:09:42 AM
<....>
The GitHub repo is not active and just one commit the last year and now, nothing, I guess it has failed. The real name of him can be seen on that article and I don't know if it's real but as what BitcoinGirl.Club said that doesn't matter as long as he pays his defaulted loan to Direwolf14. Supported the flag.
5222  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Akyat nanaman sa $6,000 ang Bitcoin! on: March 20, 2020, 02:19:13 AM
The total market cap just around the other day was below $100b pero ngayon halos umabot na Naman sa $200b. Talagang it's pure speculation and napaka volatile ng crypto market, I don't want to link it with the ongoing pandemic that's slowly decreasing especially in China but I have a hunch that may koneksyon nga ito.

It's all speculation and we might see reds again if this is just a bull trap. It may be a bull trap, a bear trap no one really knows.
5223  Economy / Gambling / Re: MARCH 22: Bitcointalk Private Poker Tournament #4 @ SwC Poker. COME PLAY! on: March 20, 2020, 02:04:16 AM
I was in, i am shipdachips. I linped KK hoping to catch someone getting silly and I did. Cehee open jammed kq and of course flop comes j9 rag, turn junk, river 10 for the straight. Put me low in chips so I shoved 66 or 55, I don't remember.

Either way, I went out next to last in the last game. Poker happens. I got my chips in good.
Woah, what a bad beat and a river for ceeche. I just meet ceeche on the other side of the table and he was really killing it and he really did. It's payback time for us this Sunday see you there.
5224  Economy / Gambling / Re: MARCH 22: Bitcointalk Private Poker Tournament #4 @ SwC Poker. COME PLAY! on: March 19, 2020, 06:36:20 PM
Regarding the tournament, I cannot confirm the time right now, I am maybe busy untill 8 PM
What is the deadline to join the tournament?
It is 4pm UTC and it has late registration for 1.5 hours, if you think you'd be busy until that time I guess you won't be able to play the tourney. There's still room for the next match maybe by that time you'll be free from busyness.

Didnt I throw you out of the tournament mate?!?! Cheesy Man, I wasnt able to chat due to that restriction. I am quite one of those trash-talkers at the table and I feel we would have needed one of those, haha. Cheesy
I can't remember a thing hahaha Cheesy Mobile seems not a good thing to trash talk on since UI is not that good it has small font size and message box, pretty lame.
5225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoins is helping during the lockdown on: March 19, 2020, 03:14:23 PM
I do introduced him with the idea of bitcoins , how he can with some investment try buying , I even told him how he can earn a little through the campaigns , since something is better than nothing .
I tend to disagree that it will best right now to invest in something volatile, it will be very risky to do and besides if the person needs it in the short term that will not literally help him, it may break him even more if it continues to decline. I may agree he can have an extra income if he joins campaign but that matters on his rank since maybe like Full Member or higher, token campaigns will not help him since most of them pay once the campaign finished for over a month or longer.

If you still earning through bitcoin I guess it will still help you, for example, you have some balance and want to cash out those you might still since remittances are still open or even send it to someone you know e.g. a family member or a friend in need of money and besides it easy to send it or cash out it even just on your mobile phone.

Isn't telling someone about how you can earn from the sig campaigns of this forum basically shaping up the idea of BitcoinTalk being a job in their mind?  Huh I'm not accusing you, just trying to say that we must take maximum precaution when letting someone know about the forum so we don't create a false idea of it in their minds. Cheesy
Somehow that's what my impression too since he seems speaking to the person that signature campaign was more like an ideal job, when in fact it shouldn't be the case.
5226  Economy / Gambling / Re: MARCH 22: Bitcointalk Private Poker Tournament #4 @ SwC Poker. COME PLAY! on: March 19, 2020, 11:36:58 AM
I received the pm and I'll register maybe later on or tomorrow since I have an issue with my Electrum wallet.

Thanks for setting this up - cant wait and I really want to win this time, lol. Being chipleader for the most part of the tournament and sucking out the way I did, well, this time you.cant.win.  Cool

And please everybody bring your toilet paper... thx to El duderino_  Cheesy
Feeling I want to register a throwaway account named "no_youcantwin". I guess I'd be lying the same as the recent game, no I won't bring any of those (toilet paper), I'll be hugging a pillow instead. @yahoo62278 wasn't around last game or he was on another table?
5227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Corona virus (COVID19) Effect in Cryptocurrency Gambling on: March 19, 2020, 01:14:29 AM
I think we might expect that scenario but as what LTU_btc said most people will also thinking it's better they save it rather than gamble it. On the other hand, gamblers can't be stopped especially those who gamble sports betting they'll more likely will find any alternatives. I think it's more likely neutral in a sense since world is in turmoil with this pandemic.
5228  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Forum - Facebook like website on: March 18, 2020, 04:31:20 PM
I thought posting on the wall was something people did on the toilet wall. Smiley
It is too hard to navigate the forum UI on mobile I guess that user is way too talented he can do that kind of task, click the post button at the same time rolling the toilet paper. Cheesy

I think it's better we should stick with the classy UI not that to be driven by the fad features of the social medias.
5229  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Nights Discussion Thread (private games for btctalk members) on: March 18, 2020, 02:53:53 PM
Sidebets are of course optional, so are rebuy(s) - nobody is being forced. After all, we still want to attract as many fellow bitcointalk members as possible to play some poker. Smiley

My big vision is some big "Main Event" type of tournament by the end of the year... Would of course only happen if I manage to win one of the tournaments until then. Cheesy
LOL that's something you should ask to @yahoo62278 if he'll let you, the guy is really getting fire up he even ask for some side bets  Grin. Hoping that kind of event does really happen but as you just said we should attract more and more people often every weekend before that come to reality.
5230  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Nights Discussion Thread (private games for btctalk members) on: March 18, 2020, 02:41:19 PM
Sorry to ask but I would like to join,,, but we have moved from Sportsbet to SWC now right? I cannot play poker at the first site anymore (got blocked because of location). I would also request if possible for the earlier time. 2pm UTC = 10 pm for me so if poker lasts long, I would not be able to play properly,,, I have to work shifts very early in the next morning I start at 4am.

Agree with 1 rebuy-in which I probably would not take anyway. I can go for the sidebet also of who lasts longer!
SwC or anywhere as long as not that strict, it will always be fine with me. Are you somehow from the Asia region? Well, if yes that's really a hassle and plus a hassle if you still got to work the morning after it because the tourney takes 2 or more hours. I have already suggested one just from the recent game to move it from 6 pm UTC to 4 pm UTC, that would be a consensus of the players if what's really fine for them but since the poll already started and the game is nearing I doubt it will still be changed and besides @foma already asked to set it up on SwC.

Sidebets will just be optional and not mandatory to players, right?
5231  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Can i get bsv in blockchain wallet? Plaese help. on: March 18, 2020, 09:25:17 AM
I long time no login blockchain wallet. I have bsv in blockchain wallet(fork form bch). Now blockchain no support bsv. Can i get back my bsv in my blockchain wallet. Plaese help. Tks
I doubt if blockchaindotcom will still allow the swap as the last blog posts they have about the ending support of shitoshi's bsv was from April the last year. As what joinfree had said you may contact their support. You can read their blog post here about it: https://medium.com/blockchain/ending-support-for-bitcoin-cash-sv-bsv-in-the-blockchain-wallet-ce889b386f0a

Questions regarding Bcash/BSV belong in the altcoin section.
Reported it to be moved on the altcoin discussion section.
5232  Local / Pilipinas / Re: COVID-19 at ang market. on: March 18, 2020, 02:03:15 AM
<....>
FUDs literally shock the market pero kung may maniniwala parin sa essence ng bitcoin this will not easily be over kahit ano pa mang sakuna ang dumating. "1btc is 1btc" it is to shake I guess those weak hands kung gaano katatag sila kahit sa ganitong sitwasyon. It's better we stay calm.
5233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things you shouldn't do when gambling at casino this time... on: March 18, 2020, 01:13:25 AM
Are there people in this Bitcointalk forum who still go to traditional casinos instead of playing  through the vast number of online casinos that are available now?
It would be interesting to know.
I guess not especially on cases that steadily rising, that will really be a big risk to them if they do, I guess most users here do play online gambling. Traditional casinos are totally closed, people are advised to stay home I'd rather play online or wait until this pandemic is over.

OP I will literally not take your advise seriously most listed on the OP are not a normal casino player would do.
5234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ann]☣️CoVid-19☣️ on: March 17, 2020, 05:20:02 PM
1800 blocks was mined at launch. No, thanks.
Even if it hasn't been mined on the launch I will not support a project like this that just meddling in a global crisis it's for sure a useless token, I haven't read anything on the site but this one is totally just a gimmick by the dev.
5235  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ★ Obvious Scam Alert - Fake Libra Coin - Live Advertisement On Facebook ★ on: March 17, 2020, 10:46:25 AM
You can post it in this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5169287.0 or you may pm @masulum to update the thread. Since most of their fake sites have been already busted they keep changing the domain name but it's still obvious, they're just naive.
5236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas closes casinos and hotels in lieu of coronavirus on: March 17, 2020, 10:34:16 AM
The numbers still growing up among infected the only best solution we can probably have right now is a vaccine for this, because this virus can be transmitted airborne according to a verified source.
I don't know if it really can be transmitted airborne most likely even researchers are in conflict since from what I can see it can only be airborne once a host sneezes or coughs in a very short distance, personal protection really is the key not to spread it.

I'd rather postponed my gambling fondness or addiction rather than risking my life or other's life if I'll be infected by this virus. This is temporary once its over, all will remain normal or even good since you've got some vacation over it, it's more like unwinding for some time.
5237  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 WINZA.cc 🏆 Casino ⚡ Faucet ⭐ Exchange 🔥 Ad Network 🎲 D I C E <--- ✅ on: March 17, 2020, 05:16:52 AM
So I am using a proxy and really haven't claimed any faucet, it's working now on my end.

Gambling platform with ADs network Cheesy
Seems they are not just having 4 services here but that may count as well. It's not really good to see a site full of spam ads that slow down the site too and even the gambling experience of the players.

We realise that $100 is the max, so if thousands of people claim it, then you won't give away more than $100 USD worth of DOGE. However you can easily say "Get $1,000,000 per hour forever" since you know that with such a small faucet it would be impossible to give away a million.
It's all about marketing and I doubt if that can really be claimed but for some reason, let just presume it can't be if really is that a one-time faucet or even everyday.
5238  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Nights Discussion Thread (private games for btctalk members) on: March 17, 2020, 04:43:43 AM
Third again! Smiley Great game, I enjoyed playing!
I enjoyed too and place 6th this time not bad I guess.

1. One re-buy should be OK. It will make a game more interesting!

2. Next two weekends are OK for me. With 16 people in the last tournament this can become a weekly fun!
1. I think I'd be okay with no re-buy, anyways we have different opinions but since majority wins here then we should abide by it, I'm hoping sooner or later we can see a poll in this thread.
2. I'm fine both weekends too.

Maybe we can get 30-40 in this weekly.
I never doubt that since more people are staying indoors. We really are gradually increasing.

<....>
I just saw your site and you're still at beta phase, are you looking for beta-tester? My suggestion is maybe you should work first with the UI and UX so people love the place and put privately the login locations of every player I've seen it's kind not good to put it publicly to users. Sorry but people here especially the participants don't want some hassle don't make this statement negatively but that's reality. Work first on your sites and other things so that people will drive onto your platform.
5239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Itīs not about IF but WHEN - don't panic on: March 17, 2020, 01:16:09 AM
Weak hands + worldwide crisis = panic selling? That wouldn't be the cause for real believer of Bitcoin would do but rather take it as an opportunity to get some bags because of the cheap price. 1btc = 1btc nothing more nothing less hoping that sinks in to these weak hand investors or should I say retail investors.
5240  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Impersonator scammer on: March 16, 2020, 04:35:34 PM
Well, I guess this user has personal issues with nc50lc and he impersonated it with that fake telegram so if he busted with his schemes the one will be in question is the real nc50lc, pretty old gimmick. Or this scammer is trying to impersonate nc50lc as he is a recognized member here. From what I can see the user has many different accounts in use.
