I have heard that Manchester United have been offered to sign Alvaro Morata now. On the other hand, I don't think that Manchester United are in search of a striker now. They are keeping Ronaldo for this season so they would lean towards improving the other positions in the team. For example signing a midfielder would be very helpful as we have said before. Rabiot is expected to sign for them for now but if it doesn't happen I hope they can sign another decent player.

For the previous two seasons we have seen Inter and Milan becoming the champions. This has made me think that whether we would see another different champion team other than those two and Juventus this time. For this, the biggest candidates I see are Napoli and Roma. Roma even seem in a better shape if we consider their current quality of their squad. Napoli were better than them last season of course. But this time maybe they could change the roles.

I also agree that Tottenham are in a better shape than Chelsea now. Both teams are managed by wonderful managers of course but Tottenham have made a better start than their opponent. Playing in Stamford Bridge is really an advantage for Chelsea but we all saw how capable Tottenham are against the biggest teams of the league in away games. If Chelsea don't be careful about it then Tottenham can even win this game. I'm thinking of making a bet on Tottenham's double chance.

I was expecting Monaco to get past PSV actually. However PSV made a really dramatic comeback against them by extra time. I must admit that I was really delighted with the performances in the rematch. Both of them deserved to advance in my opinion. I would rather seeing Monaco in the Champions League because I feel like they would have a bigger potential in the tournament. Let's see what PSV will do. They are also a very experienced team here of course.

Werner is just preparing to get what he wants finally. His being transferred by Chelsea was a big mistake from the beginning. His performance dropped so much that we have watched just a weak version of him so far. Returning to Leipzig would be helpful for him to start performing very well again. He is just one of the great strikers for the Bundesliga rather than the English Premier League.

Fenerbahce - Umraniyespor was a pretty interesting game. I was just expecting the home team to win this nicely. But their opponent made even a comeback from a 2-1 disadvantage. The game ended up with a 3-3 draw and it was disappointing for Fenerbahce fans. They were actually looking pretty good but somehow they couldn't show the same performance in this game.

I watched the goals after and saw that they conceded because of defensive mistakes again. They are just still unable to figure a way out about this weakness of them. Maguire is still preferred by Erik ten Hag as well which is another thing that is hard to get. He was obviously the worst player of the team last season. How can he trust him like this in the first league game already?
Even though they have brought in Martinez who is a great defender but still their defense is still bad, Maguire is no longer worthy of trust in maintaining the manchester united defense because he often makes silly mistakes, but somehow manchester united still keeps the clown and even making him captain, as the most expensive defender Manchester United has ever bought, doesn't he have a not contribution according to the price? I think if Ten Hag wants to really change and improve manchester this season then the first thing he must will do is get Maguire out of the main squad or even from old traford at the moment. I really don't understand how Manchester United can still continue with Maguire in defense. We all saw in the previous season that he was terrible. Erik ten Hag is still insisting about using him in the starting eleven. They don't have problems on only defending too. Their attacking side wasn't impressive as well. They just wasted many opportunities and this can cost them too much if they maintain this. |

I wonder if Juventus will manage to solve their problem in the midfield before the new season becomes underway. Because Pogba is out for a very long time as it seems. They have been targeting Milinkovic-Savic actually but there is no update about that now. Juventus' biggest weakness has been their midfield as you know. If they go on with the current condition in this season then I wonder how they are thinking of dealing with this.

People are curious about Dortmund's performance because they are wondering how successful they will be after selling Haaland. They weren't too impressive against Leverkusen in their first league game but they still secured a 1-0 win. However it is obvious that they still need a significant improvement in their effort. This is not enough for staying in the title race mathematically for a long time. I'm not saying that they can keep up with Bayern Munich until the end but at least they can hold on for longer.

Sittard did their best against Ajax but it wasn't enough for getting any point. Especially in the second half Ajax took control of the game and destroyed them by scoring three goals in a short time. However I must admit another thing that I just loved Burak Yilmaz's free-kick goal. It was a thing that Burak loved to do as he is a really nice free-kick taker at the same time. I believe that he can contribute to Sittard quite well after doing the same for Lille before.

It is nice to hear about Lewandowski's scoring in a friendly. This would be a nice motivation for him to do the same things in the La Liga as well. Lewandowski has already been giving good signals about adaptation. Firstly I thought that it might be hard for him to keep up with Barcelona's game plan before he was transferred I mean. But he has proven me wrong now. His performance can even play a key role in their success. Because he is still a goal machine as we remember from Bayern Munich.
This is still possible, but the problem is that the Spanish League authorities are still not willing to accept the registration of these 5 new players from Barcelona which makes this quite difficult for them. How can we see Lewandwoski be the focus when he can't even be registered there. Now we can only hope that Barcelona solve the problem so that they can play Lewandowski in La Liga. Let's just hope that this doesn't happen for Barcelona. Otherwise not much thing will change for the La Liga. This would be like a hindrance ahead of them for reaching the title a little easier than before. Barcelona and Xavi must have already thought about this. As you remember they had an amazing season last but they barely missed the chance of qualifying for the Champions League. This start makes me wonder if they will be able to do the same at least. Finally we have seen a wonderful performance from Haaland at Manchester City. He scored 2 goals in his first EPL game already which is very important for him. Because this performance will help him stay focused and continue to be consistent as well. Manchester City have completed the dream team in my opinion and let's see what they will do in the EPL and Champions League both. They are surely one of the biggest favourites for both tournaments.

Inter are going to start the season by playing against one of the new teams of the league which are Lecce. It is an away game and their last head-to-head here ended up with a 2-2 draw two years ago. Honestly I don't expect any surprise this time. Inter must be able to have a solid beginning to the season. We have the great Martinez - Lukaku duo back at the team too and I will be very expectant about them as well. Inter would win this game by at least two goals in my opinion.
The inter this season is not doing well, at least in the friendly games they did not do well, see: Inter 2 - 2 Monaco Inter 0 - 1 Lens Inter 2 - 2 Lyon Inter 2 - 4 Villareal These are very bad results, they have conceded a lot of goals in the last friendly games, this is not a good indication, in any case we will see their first game Honestly I don't think that it is a good idea to judge Inter by only their friendly performances. It was an amazing start to the league by especially Tottenham. After I saw that Southampton scored first I started to think that the game would be quite difficult for them. But they showed easily how they could make a huge comeback after. They are the team that have made the best start so far. However this can change tomorrow as Manchester City are playing against West Ham. It is normally not an easy game for them though but we don't know yet if West Ham will be able to perform like in the previous season at least.
Spurs 4 goals let them have an awesome start and unfortunately for gunners' fans their team is no longer number 1  Chelsea got 3 points too, letting Liverpool the only one to lose points so far within big clubs. WHU - City will not be that easy imo if West Ham will play as they used to do. Brighton wasn't bad last season and will play vs ManU. Both Manchester teams and Leicester are favourites in tomorrow's game. About Chelsea yeah they also won their Everton game. Actually Chelsea's performance was impressive but they still couldn't get a very comfortable win. Everton tried their best especially in the second half but it was in vain. Chelsea won by a penalty goal thanks to Jorginho. By the way Juventus have an interest in him but I assume Chelsea wouldn't be willing to sell him while he is still very helpful for the team. Chelsea had better keep their important players at the team to prevent themselves from being weakened. |

I would be positive about Lebron's staying at Lakers on the condition that they change Westbrook with a better guard now. For example Irving would be a wonderful teammate for Lebron and there were already some speculations about a probable trade in this way. In case this happens I believe that Lakers would have a much more solid season this time. They were just a big disappointment the last time and the team need to make themselves forgiven by their supporters.

Manchester United have been reported to be interested in Leroy Sane recently. This would be an interesting move because he is a former Manchester City player at the same time. However I don't think that Bayern Munich would be keen on selling him at the moment. Because he is still one of the important players for the team and he started the season very well too. Manchester United just need to make an offer that can't be refused easily. I see no other way for it.
