Do you like Cats or Dogs? or None ?

And Why?

I personally love Cats, looking forward to adopt an orange one someday and name him Satoshi.

Definitely a dog person.

My family always had dogs. My grand parents had 2, my parents had 2 and now I have one. I think it all depends on with you grew up.

Wow what a final that was yesterday. Congratulations on everyone betting on Astralis.Navi was looking so strong after the first nap but I didn't get anymore on them, don't know why but I am not a big fan on getting during a matched
That saved me some money yesterday. Electronic was playing so good, map 2 could have went easily in favour of Navi.

Any recommendations on how to get our losses back this week?
5223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Worthwhile freerolls and low stakes high prize on: October 04, 2020, 05:46:18 PM

I might just multi table the half price Sunday big event poker stars. Shame it clashed with the forum game.

You are right Im still chasing bankroll to d0 anything better.

For the pokerstars free roll you mentioned, did you have to get a ticket from a chest? still didn't find any free rolls on there.

Though I am starting to go off huge games for little reward. How ungrateful am I?   Smiley

Damn, I got knocked out so early in SWC BitAce Tournament, that was really sad. Hope you did better.

Just saw you are streaming. Good luck!

Actually the last freeroll tournament was on Party Poker, not pokerstars (they also had some free MTT tickets for people who redeposited money). They gave away tickets to players who were playing MTT in the last week. On Pokerstars I didn't see anymore freerolls. The tickets were just from the Twitch stream, but I didn't see any official Twtich stream. I think they are waiting for the next event.
5224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 04, 2020, 04:20:55 PM
G2 moneyline odds went up a bit since yesterday, hmm *edit G2 - Suning, WHAT A GAME!!!! holy shit  Shocked

also, ESL Pro final today, NaVi - Astralis, if the danish pick Nuke as their 1st map, then i'll drop some money (2 units maybe?) on them winning there, it's their best map and one of the russians worst maps, so i'm banking on them popping off on good 'ol nuke to put the series 1-1 (IF they pick first, still not sure who picks first in the final)
That game between G2 and Suning was the most intense one i've watched so far. The straight push by Suning after they took down 4 members of G2 in the final few minutes was very close. It looked like they had enough time to burst down the towers but that Bard ult bought a few crucial seconds to stall the respawn timers.

I'm leaning on NaVi for the grand finals only because electronic and simple are just unstoppable. The odds on Astralis' is tempting but i'm not convinced just yet so i'll probably watch the first map before making a bet.

I agree with you Navi is such a great team with the best players on an individual skill level. If simple has a good day it's just going to be iffer. I bet a little bit on Navi so far, but not sure if I should wait for the first map to be played. If its very decisive the odds could go down rapidly. Are you guys doing a lot betting during matches?

The thing with astralis is that they might have some special new tactics up their sleeves svd just crush everyone because they work perfectly together as a team. Going to be a good match for sure.
5225  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World shut Down begins on: October 04, 2020, 04:13:51 PM
Total shut Down You better collect water food and Get Some electricity  generators.

The 911 or any of government institutions not help You either on this time.

Preparing for the worst is good idea so we don't have to suffer so much in bad times. I have been stocking up on essential goods for month now. As long as things can't go bad there is no reason not to make a small depot at home. Its just we need to prepare also for the possibility that we are wrong. So selling all investment and only storing cash at home would be too extreme.
5226  Economy / Economics / Re: Not enough Corona Virus Vaccine until 2024, at earliest on: October 04, 2020, 04:05:10 PM
Not enough Corona Virus Vaccine until 2024, at earliest

That is wrong. Not everyone can get vaccine. Many people vaccine would kill or at east drastically hurt.  To reach herd immunity just some part fop population needs to get vaccine. Many already had and will have covid-19 so will not need to get vaccine.   Biggest hurdle is to research safe vaccine. Not to manufacture it. There are plenty of pharmaceutical companies that will be wiling to make it as soon as it will be available for production.
My speculation is that Covid-19 will for sure still be a threat, at least at soem parts of word, by 2022, but not anymore by 2023.

I don't think this is correct. I read that people can get corona multiple times. The immunity after having corona will fade after some months. So just by having corona in the past is no guarantee that you can't get it again. A friend of my parents had corona in March but because she works with older people she still needs to get tested again. We still don't know enough to rely on one vaccine to cure everything. Just look at the flu, people need to get a different vaccine every year.
5227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do think about skill games? on: October 04, 2020, 03:55:29 PM
The best game that I used my skill and knowledge was chess for me it is one of the best skill games for gambling.
I also enjoy some MOBA that is being used for gambling but it is only on tournaments, I have played some MOBA to gain money by gambling and still betting sometimes with my friends while we play.
For me skill games are the best when it comes to gambling since we don't need to depend too much on luck.

I love chess too. It would be awesome if the betting market for chess would be bigger. The esports community came a long way in the last 5 years and offers so many opportunity for gamblers. Even betting on low tier matches is not a problem anymore these days. I hope the chess market will evolve in a similar fashion in the future. Definitely would enjoy betting on some more games.
5228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: October 04, 2020, 03:53:02 PM
These coins are both good in investment and very trusted but if I have to choose I prefer ETH over BNB,  Because eth is the best altcoin and has a bright future especially when eth 2.0 launch.

I agree with you, both coins seems like a good deal. But I also prefer ETH.

ETH had a such a good return in the last 12 months, and seems pretty stable now. I think it's a good investment for everyone holding alt coins. I definitely trust ETH and will be getting more coins in the future.
5229  Economy / Economics / Re: Stocks fall down due to trump catching the virus on: October 04, 2020, 03:50:29 PM
I'm sure there are many factors affecting Bitcoin and stocks prices. Trump's positive covid test isn't related to the assets' movements. Journalists connected two events to make clickable headlines.

Really, I also believe that the decline in stock prices and Trump's positive covid-19 was just a coincidence and was deliberately linked.  The media enlarge this issue in order to attract viewers and readers only to get more benefits.  However, if the decline in stock prices is due to news about the health of the trump, I am sure that the stock price will return to normal soon, because the health of the trump is not fundamental.

Usually election in USA are very good for the stock market because the new presidents usually promise a lot of new reforms. Now with the corona pandemic still going on the times might be different and there is more downward pressure on stocks all around the world. But I think once the election is over and there is more certainty with a corona vaccine there will be a big jump in stock and all other asset classes. I wouldn't be selling my funds at the moment, going to hold my ETF funds atleast until the end of the year before I do any repositioning. Why pay all these transactions fees if it's just going up again in a few weeks?
5230  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Social media and tv making us adult before time? on: October 04, 2020, 03:47:14 PM
when we were at childhood, really me and my friends did not any type of thing that do i adult age(like sex and lust things etc).Because we all time palyed at field, ground and outdoor game. But now a day child do not go outside for play, they just use mobile phone and watch tv. So can we blame on tv or social media???

I think it's hard to blame TV for all the bad things today, because everyone is watching TV. How can we be mad at the kids wanting to do the same as their parents? In my opinion it's on all of us to be better examples. If a family spends it's evening in front of a TV it's just natural that the kids will do the same when they grow up.

There are also good things from the kids today. They can handle technology much better. When I compare my parents or grand parents to the kids today using Iphones or Ipads it's insane the difference.

Two Russians meet up:

- Have you heard, Bitcoin went up in value?

- Ya. But I only invest in one thing - VODKA

- Why Vodka?

- Where else do you get a 40% return?

5233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2020 US Presidential Election | Trump vs Biden on: October 03, 2020, 06:40:46 PM

As soon as I saw the news and now that we get confirmation Trump has been in fact infected by the coronavirus I knew we were in the presence of something big, has there been any noticeable change in the odds given by casinos around the world about the chance of Trump winning the presidency?

After all there are probably two main reactions that people could have to this announcement, one is to be empathic to Trump and this could give him some votes of people that could have been otherwise undecided about their vote, the other possible reaction is that some will believe this to be nothing more but a political move and this could take votes away from him if this narrative takes place.

I am still not sure how Turmp having Corona is going affect the odds for November. So far it seems the odds are not really changed and the Democrats are still far in the lead. The odds in the last weeks were kind of stable, even after the debate. I really would like to profit more from the election this year. Do you guys have any recommendations how to bet right now? Go for Trump and maybe try to hedge with a bet on Biden if the odds change before the election? I am so unsure this year. The payout for Biden winning seems quite low at the moment.
5234  Other / Off-topic / Re: Sex with mask won't save you. on: October 03, 2020, 06:04:38 PM
There are countries which receive most of their revenue os from sex tourism on such kind of places they have no other way than implementing such stupid ideas. They know it is not going to save people but the regulation is needed to defend themselves from world media.

Countries depending on tourism are hit the hardest in corona. And now with so many countries suffering from a second wave, I don't see tourism picking up any time soon.

Which normal person would believe that a mask would save you from corona during sex? That's crazy. I think that prosititution is banned at the moment in most countries. It's just too risky.
5235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ✅ SwC Poker ♣️ Player Lounge on: October 03, 2020, 12:35:39 PM
Thats what these people do.
Inactive for weeks and then delete everything they dont like.
Wouldnt trust this site with 1$ anymore.

There is something very shady in the making.

That's not good news, I am playing poker myself on swc. Need to watch out for everybody here.

I really liked the bitcoin concept of them, but with more red flags being raised here we need to watch out. Let's hope they can clarify things here.
5236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite gamemodes on: October 03, 2020, 07:35:19 AM
Hi, whats are you favorite gamemode, and on which site ? Also, do you prefer community (eg: roulette), single-player (eg: dice) or multiplayer (eg: coinflip) games ?

My most favourite game online is poker. I am playing on SWC Poker, Pokerstars and sometimes on partypoke for some freerolls. But for playing poker you need to be concentrated on the game a lot. So switching to Black Jack or Roulette from time to time is quite relaxing for me. Dice I am playing only a few times a months but I prefer it to coinflip or slots.
5237  Other / Off-topic / Re: 10 years of bitcoin! on: October 02, 2020, 02:13:14 PM
Bitcoins are awesome and are being used by so many peoples around the world. The growth that the crypto community made from 5 years or 10 years ago is amazing. It's on all of us now to keep making bitcoins bigger. The price drop from the last few weeks shouldn't discourage us from investing. Selling more coins at the moment is the wrong move. Bitcoins will rebounce stronger from this. If bitcoins drop below $10,000 I will be buying more.
5238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a high roller? on: October 02, 2020, 01:51:18 PM
I am definitely not a high roller or a whale in gambling. On the casinos where I am playing there are usually 3 types of categories you need to choose from before gambling. On the Black Jack and roulette tables you choose between micro (10c to $10) standard ($1 to $100) or high stakes ($50+). I usually play the standard buy ins, but when losing quite a few games in a row I find myself going back down to micro stakes. I hope one day I have enough bankroll to go for the high stakes.
5239  Economy / Economics / Re: Are the Central Banks starting to worry about the public's perception? on: October 02, 2020, 07:58:07 AM
I believe deep inside them, those people behind the Central Banks, they know that "the cat is out of the bag". Billions and billions of the paper money they print will shift into sound money, Bitcoin.

The problem with the ECB is that interest rates are so low for 10 years. For many young people it's the only thing they know, cheap money is available everywhere without much collateral and saving money in a bank account is kind of useless. The inflation rate is much higher than any interest you receive from the bank, with the bank fees on top of that you are screwed. The central bank is motivating everyone to go into debt, or at least spend their money today instead of saving it for tomorrow. Japan is in this trap much longer than Europe already with no way out. How is this serving the people? It's not helping us to print money every month.
5240  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Book are you currently reading? on: October 02, 2020, 07:51:55 AM
I tend you reads usually two books at the time, one about business and investing and one novel I read before sleeping when I am already tired. Reading a business book right before sleeping is not such a good idea for me because I forgot too many things in the morning. The business book I am reading right now is Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki , and the Novel is The Guardians by John Grisham. Both are great books I can only recommend.
