5221  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Trading on BigOne on: January 23, 2020, 05:44:17 AM
I'm not buying any of this cause just this month 3 newbies have also posted their "good experience", I wouldn't call that a coincidence.
Agreed, it is some sort of propaganda spamming on forums going on with this exchange. Maybe the account holders are getting paid for this or not but it is shady and thus for me the OP should feel sad because I have put this exchange on a "Redzone" and will tell my friends about the same too and to avoid them.

Hope that is a good blow on their black PR methods and unethical marketing. Seriously these fools think that spamming forums with idiotic threads make them look smart.
5222  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Alert: Stay away from this! on: January 23, 2020, 05:41:28 AM
If someone thinks that sending money to an unknown person on the internet and they will send back 10x of that amount then they are a fool. And a fool and their gold part quickly. This is the reason why such scams exist and people still fall for them because of the hope for being rich blinds their judgement.

You can post in as many forums as you want but people rarely come to a forum to become knowledgeable about such things. It would be good if they used their logic but that has been blunted out since a long time. No wonder tech scammers make a good living than whitehat hackers.

My service is up&running so I have a simple question: ... did you test it and is sure a scam or have any proof ?

Please answer to this query:http://archive.ph/lVdWk#selection-4197.0-4199.144
Who controls the private keys of the wallet on Fomero?

Double spending tool? Never heard any core dev to develop such a thing. @loyceV you know anything about this?

Is there anywhere a single man who said I scammed him ?
Nobody claiming to be scammed is not a proof that your site is not a scam. It takes someone to start it. Cheesy

5225  Other / Meta / Re: Is account sale legal? on: January 22, 2020, 06:59:13 AM
This was an example, once a week, such accounts change hands. You say merit system prevents changing hands but merites turned into a form of bargaining.
Is there a DT member who speaks your local language? These things need to controlled radically by the joint decisions of any local DT member, Merit source and maybe the local moderators.

Quote
my suggestion is very simple !! Remove unused smerites after 1 month.
my suggestion is to use a fair forum and rank distribution
Dont want to sound harsh but community suggestions are rarely taken up to administration. But it is always appreciated, even when we cannot do anything about it but live with it.
5226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK gamblers cannot use Credit Cards for gambling from April 14, 2020 on: January 22, 2020, 06:54:53 AM
Gambling with the money they do not have
This is a wrong extrapolation. People use credit cards because they want to use that as a short term loan. That is what a credit card is, they provide credit in quick real time and take an interest fee for their service.

Quote
Greed is the major reason why most of the gamblers try to do this, credit cards are not for gambling purpose and I welcome the idea behind this as this will definitely stop harming new credit card users.
For a gambling deposit, it like buying chips on poker. There is no difference. Those who want to spend money will spend it, you cannot stop them. For example consider shopping for something: gambling is also like shopping to the bank. The bank never asks for the "reason" of your spending.

You all are making wrong conclusions from the news, I daresay it. Grin
5227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Use of Altcoin. Do you know any altcoin that has so much potential as use case? on: January 22, 2020, 06:49:21 AM
Is there any altcoin that has so much potential as use case in our lives?
Short answer is No.
Quote
It seems that even major altcoin like Ethereum still struggles with securing stores to be used
Bitcoin is the only coin that you need to keep store of. With more merchants coming up with a pro-crypto attitude and more lenience from authorities to use crypto, being optimistic, they would without any doubt use bitcoin as the first option for taking payments. Now altcoins can be there but bitcoin will always be there.

Hence altcoins can be a life saver when bitcoin network becomes congested but dont get me wrong here. Alts dont have anything worth investing in them. So use them with caution. If you local grocery store accepts bitcoin, use bitcoin. You will be much better off having to juggle a hundred alts than one which is the leader of all crypto, bitcoin.
5228  Other / Meta / Re: Is account sale legal? on: January 22, 2020, 06:44:33 AM
Wouldn't it be a good idea to regain unused merits ? Merit hunting both merit sell and account..
One of the reasons of introducing the merit system was to prevent the process of buying accounts and then ranking up by farming posts and then use that to join new campaigns essentially defrauding them. What you say will defy that objective because once a user of an account uses those merits to rank up his new account he will jolly well have grown it to a decent rank for joining a campaign.

Merit was a side-effect of the account farming that used to go around in an uncontrolled fashion here. Those who did that are the ones who cried aloud at that time because they realized they had dug their own graves. Wink

Also account sales are going to be negged at any suspicion of the person attempting to buy/sell. Specially if the person is of a rank. It is the only way to keep the forum clean from scammers growing and using the social connections that a person has used till date to scam someone who might know that username as their "friend" but now in the guise of that "friend" to scam them.
5229  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan for 0.1~ 0.5 BTC ? on: January 21, 2020, 07:14:06 AM
I am looking for way how get a loan for 0.1 ~ 0.5 BTC. I need more capital for trading. Is there a way how get it ? I have not much BTC but i am loyal, reliable and friendly. If you know about any way,you can let me know here or DM.
The proper way is to offer a valid collateral and then ask for a loan. Even better is to pledge something valuable at a bank or loan shark in your locality to get loan of that value in fiat. Here nobody can be trusted without collateral. It is easy to make it seem like you need a loan but it is very difficult to trust someone with a made up username here. In real life we good goons being paid for debt collection but lenders here dont do that.

Also you can contact me directly on my twitter. (Also if you need promo for your project)
Are you offering promo for projects or asking for loan? Future work promises are not accepted as collateral for your information.
5230  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Can't start a wallet! on: January 21, 2020, 06:39:28 AM
but I have never used before Electrum!
Are you migrating from another wallet to Electrum? In that case you would need to remember the seed of the previous wallet and use that.

Could you provide some more info on why you installed Electrum or if you have used any other wallet in the past?

5231  Local / India / Re: Looking for a best Indian crypto media on: January 21, 2020, 06:13:45 AM
I am writing an article for Hacker Noon with a list of best non-English crypto media. Can you recommend the Indian news media/blog?
I dont think there is any more of such.

I remember coinsutra - https://coinsutra.com/

But again this one is written in English. Not sure why you are looking for non-English media but the best you can get are in English at the moment because of lack of awareness and development in cryptocurrencies in India and the blanket ban.

Dont think this is of much help either.
5232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: two gambling games that are players favorite on: January 21, 2020, 05:39:31 AM
dice nesting and slots  ?  what is nesting   ? is that a miss typed and you mean next thing    ?
LOL I think they meant dice "testing" or they are using a translator to post. Seriously they should stop doing this and learn English slowly but gradually. Smiley

Quote
i agree about dice because dice was verry popular online while slots were not really   but slots are popular offline more than dice.
Slots machines are way more popular offline. Visit Las Vegas and you will find tons of slot machines in every corner. No wonder they earn so much. Moreover the design and colours of these machines are important to give a boost to the gambling habits.

Quote
i love slots sometimes but i love plinko the most because it was thrilling to see the ball fall down while slots is verry unpredictable same as on dice  but my first game that i play on online gambling was dice   .
It is very hard to find an avid gambler who does not like plinko.  Grin

But you should try sports betting for a change if you have that technical know-how in you and willing to use some skills to win than just luck.
5233  Economy / Economics / Re: Stance on bitcoin's effect towards the Global Economy on: January 21, 2020, 05:33:50 AM
I think Bitcoin gives an opportunity for us to control our own finances rather than relying or companies or the government as much as we have in the past.  It's only going to get better as Bitcoin becomes accepted more.
Although your first statement is correct, you did not read the OP's post properly or you did not understand it which is perfectly fine. Wink

Bitcoin being accepted more will increase its price no doubt. But that does not mean an economy completely based on crypto is a saving grace for every problem in the world. We have gone past that false belief which was a source of a lot of questioning in the past in this forum.

Now the use of both fiat and crypto without any restriction is what should be allowed. Corruption and bribery is something that you cannot stop so easily because it is human nature. Fiat and its problems will continue to exist, while I feel crypto will become a more speculative asset to store money for the long term.
5234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin moves like Gold? on: January 21, 2020, 05:28:58 AM
According to the recent price chart, Bitcoin's move has been very similar to Gold's move.
Why not Silver? It also moves like any other commodity. Why not Copper for that instance?

Quote
Recently, after Trump delivered speech, the price of Bitcoin and Gold both went down.
Which speech? Again a movement in same direction does not mean that the correlation exists unless it is explicitly proven. Which is again a rare thing to prove and so it is better to assume that these are coincidences and not related.

Quote
And there were other cases that Bitcoin's move follows after Gold's move.
Possible that people moved from gold to bitcoin, question is does it really matter? People change sectors all the time to keep up with trends or manage risks.

Quote
But is this still enough to say that Bitcoin moves like Gold?
No. They are two different assets. And you did not provide any proof to substantiate your claim.
5235  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are we going to have a profitable bounty hunting in 2020? on: January 21, 2020, 05:19:21 AM
no, only people who are lucky can find a bonty project that generates substantial money, even for the following years the bounty will slowly disappear from crypto.
For those who are looking for bounties as a method of income, no amount of money will be substantial to them. Rich and poor all relative terms here. I dont think bounties will disappear. You know what is meant by "cheap labor"? The workforce from low income countries are motivated to do the garbage jobs for high income countries. Well if that is not a problem for someone then its all good.

This is the funniest comment i have read across the forum for today+  .
Go easy on him dude. He was probably here to complete his posting quota.
Quote
There is no good bounty in 2020 compared to previous years because bounties as we used to know can be simply resumed in (fake promotion,+fake good) .
I wont say that the promotion was fake. But all in all the result of the bounty hunting may not be profitable in 99% of cases, so people should become more aware of this.
5236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: January 20, 2020, 07:46:06 AM
I agree, you have to build more ways when it comes on earning money,
For the average joe, there are very few methods to earn money. For the ones in high paying jobs they dont need to think of the same but again the wiser folks actually put in investments in different sectors to keep their money growing.

Quote
it is not bad to take risk in playing gambling but it is bad when you exert all of your funds on it,
Of course there is nothing wrong because right or wrong is your own conscience. But one needs to ask themselves if what they are doing is correct or not morally. If it is legal in your place to gamble then do so by all means. But do not forget that the casinos flourish because people play there. It is thus important to keep your bankroll being spent there under control.
5237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Is there a chance earn 0.1 BTC from altcoins ? Crypto job ? on: January 20, 2020, 07:39:25 AM
IŽd like earn 0.1 BTC to begin trading
Why specifically that number? Why are you not being ambitious and hoping for earning more?

Quote
Is there a chance earn 0.1 BTC from altcoins
Altcoins are not "money making schemes" They run on the pump and dump by bagholders and shills. You can learn day trading for altcoins which is the way to go but is not what I recommend to a newbie. Long term trading methods are good for bitcoin. Overall bitcoin should be your point of focus so dish out some money first because it does not come from thin air.

Quote
get loan 0.1 BTC without backing ?
Impossible here. Visit your local bank/pawn shop if you are in dire need of money.

Quote
I have not money or way how earn.
Many other members of this forum are working to get paid.

Quote
I can work for some crypto project.
Depends on what skills you have. Nobody will give you money for free just like in the real life scenario.
5238  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are we going to have a profitable bounty hunting in 2020? on: January 20, 2020, 07:34:30 AM
The real question some of you should ask themselves is
Are bounty hunters profitable for ICOs?
The thing is that it was profitable at one time when the ICO craze was on and bitcoin was pumping to 20k USD and then once the crash happened and ICO buzz reduced all the shittokens dropped to what they are actually of value which is zero. Every other token launched during that time are at ~90%(-) of their All time high values.

These hunters should not think of bounties as a mode of getting income. They should be considered a high risk asset which is being given to them as a prize. But they cant get into that mindset.
5239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Exchange Discussion on: January 20, 2020, 07:31:52 AM
Which the exchange should be choose for listing?
Condition require about Fee listing,Trade fee, good community
Many factors are to be checked for this. About fees for listing asking for exorbitant fees is a no-go for any new project that has just done a startup funding. So they will go with the cheaper options that they can find. This often leads to low volume exchanges and people will cry "When Binance?".

Its more important to look for good track record and company registration if you are going for a CEX. For DEX go with the most popular ones -they dont ask listing fees for Etherdelta since it gets into the network once you launch the token on Ethereum mainnet.

Good support system is also important. This goes for the customer service of that exchange.
5240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: January 19, 2020, 05:29:43 AM
I have to disagree on you, fixing an Esport game is way harder to do than the other games since it will not only need  a single person to fixed the game but the whole team, whole brand of the team including their sponsors.
How can we not think of the possibility that the full team is behind the scenes rigging the match? They just need to play it one round to get their prize from the bookie, so they can have it all planned out. Like a top team losing a specific round in a certain match but they will win the match because the have not fixed the other rounds of that match. Certainly it can be that they are honest and not willing to do such things.

Quote
Fixing a game is not a one man job, this already tells us that Esports scene is authentic and true to its passion.
I know several players who cheated on international stage, Esports is not rigged and they kicked them out.

You may think that I am trying to force my opinion here but is it not true that youtubers and gamers have their complete career based on the companies that sponsor them? They are the mafia here who fix the matches and if you double cross them then their entire career is at risk. I am sure you are getting the point here. Wink
