Ah so it finally seems closer and closer to be true that Wijnaldum goes to Barcelona. Said it before that I'm not sure I want him at the club given the recent history of ex Liverpool greats coming to us (except suarez, he was so good he probably kicked off the buy from Liverpool era). Not to say Coutinho wasn't good, he just wasn't as good a fit and I fear the same for this Dutch midfielder. On the surface he seems great fit. He wins balls and keeps it so well, and is one of their best dribblers but we need to phase out of keep ball for Messi psychology.
5222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: May 27, 2021, 07:53:50 AM
Yes we know! Even if this fees not comfortable for you then move on BSC network. There are many projects looking forward on BSC network so you should invest there. At least we can said that if eth price will go down again then gas fees gonna low. Moreover, you have to choice best one which have good opportunity.

And when the fees there go up as they already are, and you realize the development work is not progressing as decentralized as say ETH, and you realize actually the community is all defi speculators, then you can maybe reconsider ETH again. 2.0 is taking months maybe even next year anyway;) Fees are important but they are not ALL important.
5223  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the Bitcoin crash an opportunity to enter the market? on: May 27, 2021, 07:11:30 AM
The hard part is determining what is the tip of the spike. I much prefer to advise people or investors to set a target, and cash out at that target regardless. Wait, until Bitcoin takes a hit again, and that's your next investment start point. Currently, because of how volatile Bitcoin is, you get these opportunities. However, this will likely change, and become less dramatic over time, which is when I would advise hoarding it, would be the best option or simply by that time using as a currency might be a little more viable.

This is the problem with buy low sell high, agree. It seems so easy to do, especially now when we're in a cycle and can see the market go up 2 or 3 times from 2017 ATH. But I always feel afraid of selling too far from the tip, and what if the rally just goes on and on and then you end up never being able to buy back in? Then your journey is "over" and you didn't enjoy the top.
5224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: May 27, 2021, 05:09:57 AM
Well the same goes for Rulli because both keepers play for a full 120 minutes and both didnt manage to save any penalty before their turn. I just had the hunch that after the 6th shooter from both teams scored, I knew for a second that this might end with either of the keepers failing to score. Rulli took the shot first and managed to score then I had the hunch that De Gea might fail

Well I gotta say that Manchester United did all they could for this game and it was basically 50 50 at the penalty shootout so yeah its all good though. Runner up in Europa League and 2nd in EPL, next season would be better  Smiley

For sure it was 50/50 such is penalty. If anyone can blame de Gea they are idiots. As I thought last night, super hard game to predict, and no real favorites even if bookie odds said it was Man Utd.

Getting second place after trying so hard is the worst feeling, and we shall see next season how this impacts them. Most teams after coming so close then just drop away. You have to be so strong to try again and win.
5225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bloodbath! on: May 26, 2021, 07:02:59 PM
It is exactly what happened in the past and up to now.

How many of those who said to transfer in Memecoins really make profit? and how many have lost?

Why gamble in shitcoins when you can be secure in Bitcoin , because if you only wanted to gamble then Just go to gambling site and try your luck .

Well, probably a lot of them still. DOGE was shilled below 100 satoshi and is still in 800+ ranges.

Most of the shit alt memecoins cost nothing and was airdropped and shilled to death.

The ones that lost a lot bought near the top and these were probably newbies who poured cash and not BTC into these stupid DEXs selling memeshibas and what not.

Remember, crash isn't happening just yet, the tears haven't come!
5226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA, why no pump yet on: May 26, 2021, 03:10:56 PM
IOTA was suppose to have developed into something more useful . Unfortunately, they have not succeded in many of their projections! I was actially hoping IOTA would have developed a fee- less structure for transaction and be at the fore-front of decentralization yet, IOTA is not there presently. Development is directly correlated with value and market price.

IOTA and 99% of all the coins that launched in the year before the 2017 rally I guess. I mean, I still think it's a pretty good coin but they probably spent a lot of their marketing wrongly, which of course isn't a unique mistake to them.

Everyone focused on the tech and the TPS. Forgot that people don't care and want to only use it or speculate it.
5227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: May 26, 2021, 01:45:43 PM
It's great, I didn't check that but with these big clean sheets it is fitting that Lille get the Ligue 1 title and congratulations to Lille. I bet almost all the matches in the last round but unfortunately, the bets made were like reckless bets that I did and I suffered a loss even though indeed, for the match between Lille and PSG yesterday I was pretty sure they would win and still the champion was Lille.

It's incredible really, when you've got Lyon, Monaco, PSG in your league, and you ca keep more than half clean sheets. Total shutouts are getting harder to do I think in the modern game and especially in this damn Corona season I think he did really really well. Totally deserved and I hope they challenge again next season.
5228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it so bad that Elon and Saylor are talking with miners about clean energy on: May 26, 2021, 01:06:03 PM
It is already known that the majority of crypto mining is powered by green and renewable energy.

The agenda demanding better energy reporting endorses false claims of the majority of crypto mining being powered by coal and environmentally unfriendly sources of power.

Elon Musk and Michael Saylor are not clarifying the issue with their narrative. They're doing the opposite. Their stance is one where crypto miners rely on a lack of transparency and reporting standards to keep the public in the dark as to the extent of how crypto mining damages the environment. The entire thing is not only untrue. But might be considered a misinformation campaign.

Well, if we are talking about things already known, then we already know Elon Musk doesn't know everything about crypto.

1. He gets onto bitcoin and then later finds out it is energy intensive.
2. He gets onto dogecoin and then claims he will work with developers to improve... a memecoin?

They're just like us. Normal people with normal beliefs and not a shred more of information than us.
5229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: May 26, 2021, 11:39:44 AM
Despite a great season at Manchester City, I think everyone here underestimates Chelsea .. and I will definitely take advantage of the huge coefficient and bet on the Aristocrats to win as I am confident that this purely English final will end with Chelsea winning. But in terms of details, theoretically Chelsea should look great in the first half while City will likely show a very self-assertive performance in the second half, (I hope I'm not mistaken).  Cheesy

I don't think everyone does. It's just that Chelsea have really underwhelmed. Not to underestimate them at all but when you have the top scorer only doing 7 goals, and all the huge talents rotting on the bench, you have to say at least that even with the best lineup, they have inexperienced offensives and a leaky defence.

They can still win of course and bookies are giving them good odds under 3x.
5230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: At what point do you stop buying the dip? on: May 26, 2021, 11:02:50 AM
Right now I still have a stable coin to prepare for the worst case scenario I can think of, maybe I will spend all of that money buying back BTC at $25k - 30K, that's the case if it happens because anyway, I'm not too concerned with the money to buy back because currently the amount of crypto is not too much for me to bother Smiley

but I'm not the one who sold out the crowd last time

Well, you better go put it in a limit order now actually. If I HAD any stablecoin I want to invest, as a trader, they would all be in limit orders at various stages.

But I'm not a trader so I'd be damn right out there now spending all that Tether into BTC right now.

The way it looks, we may even not be seeing 30k anymore if this recovery turns into the next rally upcycle!
5231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 26, 2021, 07:47:13 AM
Not officially, but all sides practically saying that the deal is done. Liverpool simply trying to pay in a few years instead of 1.

Regarding Phillips and Williams - true, they are horrible. They lack everything to be good footballers, not only calmness and experience. But as a supporter of Liverpool I am truly grateful to both of them for performing a small miracle by playing on the ultimate top of their capabilities throughout the deciding moments of the season.

They made a lot of mistakes in these games, they were a bit lucky these mistakes often went unpunished but both of them gave their all and proved that they don't lack heart and professialism. So fair play to both of them.

Ah right. Yeah I could not find anyone in the news saying this except of course for rumors:) Good luck to you.

And again, as I said I just think those two you mention (the Centerbacks) don't really have it fair because they will be compared to Virgil van Dijk who is impossible as a normal human:) I didn't mean to say they are crap but not for a team supposedly defending Champions.

They should definitely get good value playing in relegation teams though:)
5232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: May 26, 2021, 07:06:59 AM
I think it's useless that Ethereum has cheaper transaction fees than it was a few weeks ago. But when compared to TRC and BSC it is still more
expensive, crypto users definitely prefer the cheapest. Therefore, like it or not, Ethereum has to find a solution, so that Ethereum transaction fees
are at least not much different from TRC or BSC. But according to the rumors I heard after the Ethereum 2.0 release, the high transaction fees
could be resolved. Hopefully the rumors are true, otherwise Ethereum will be abandoned by its users if the transaction costs do not go down to match
the TRC and BSC fees.

Because these are degens doing defi, they need to do 100 transactions a day so of course they want cheapest. But one day when they want a secure platform and stable network that is decentralized so it doesn't control all the Dapp decisions they have and make, then maybe they'll start to realize nothing comes close to Ethereum yet.
5233  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the Bitcoin crash an opportunity to enter the market? on: May 26, 2021, 05:53:03 AM
the answer is very simple, what do you think bitcoin is worth?
if the answer is a price lower than the current price then don't buy. but if you think the bitcoin worth is so much higher than what it is and what it reached a while ago then it is obvious that you should buy now.
unfortunately nobody can give you the answer because it is too obvious and you have to figure it out yourself otherwise next time we see another dip you will be just as confused.

Although, the answer could also be: I think it's lower than the current price, but it will eventually be higher one day, and I don't know if the price will actually go down to match the value. Maybe the value will catch up to price instead some day. So in order to not risk the price never coming down to match the value, I would like to buy it now.Wink
5234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bloodbath! on: May 25, 2021, 06:25:39 PM
Lol? What's the reason for them to convert their alts to btc and then dump their btc? When market crash happened, they were dump their bitcoin, which make btc price down and it make other alt also dump too as all alts are following btc price. So if btc got dump, alt got dump as well, but if alt got dump, btc could be affected too or not.

The same reason we've seen in all the past cycles. Greed and an expectation to make the same easy money over and over again, what else:)

No need to hodl Bitcoin they said. Change it to memecoins and enjoy 100x explosion they said. Bitcoin is dead and dominance is going down they said.

We've all heard it before and we'll all hear it again.
5235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano hit $3? on: May 25, 2021, 02:44:37 PM
I think that people will better to avoid to talk about the future price prediction and they must have talked about how they can get into the market at the dip price.
That means if that better for all of them to speculate about what will be the lowest price that will be reached by ada very soon. I do believe we are in the bearish market now and it's not possible to predict what will be coming very soon.
The market is very bearish at this moment dude and any future price prediction will not happen easily.

Aww come on, if everyone told everyone to stop talking about price predictions then what will this altforum look like? Haha.

Cardano founder talks about price exploding and all alt CEOs like to say to the moon and Twitter influencers also literally taking alts to the moon. If that stops and everyone starts getting serious like Bitcoin, we'll have to close the altcoin section;)
5236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: May 25, 2021, 02:11:22 PM
Lille have been crowned Ligue 1 champions after winning against Angers and this is their first title in 10 years breaking the PSG supremacy where the time from Paris won 2-0 at Brest but needed a slip-up from leaders Lille and that was not forthcoming.
Congratulations to Lille and to those who decided to bet on them winning the leauge.

I almost completely overlooked the last day in French league! Missed all the drama and just saw PSG have nothing to show for this season except the cup. Tuchel will be happier with Chelsea maybe and poor Poch will likely be blamed for losing the title. Well done to Lille! Their keeper also had 23 clean sheets AMAZING.
5237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it so bad that Elon and Saylor are talking with miners about clean energy on: May 25, 2021, 12:50:12 PM
Why are people busting out about the fact Elon and Saylor are talking with minders about reporting their energy mix?

This can only be good for reporting North America’s Bitcoin mining footprint?

And about “centralizing miners”, only large huge miners have a chance at getting a block so it’s already conglomerates mining. How decentralized is mining really? That can’t be the reason. Thoughts?

People need someone to blame. They made bad decisions. They got greedy. They got memecoins. They had a lot of fun and 10x profits that they forgot to realize.

Then now they're seeing it all turn to dust, so of course, they have to look for people to blame. And it's easy to do so with Elon and Saylor etc.

Centralization if it's so important to people, they would realize only Bitcoin is the most decentralized.
5238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: May 25, 2021, 12:19:26 PM
Manchester City have favorite bets from gamblers but Chelsea understand Man City too well. Recent matches between them have better results for Chelsea.

This final match can end with a win for Chelsea if Kante can break the tactics and connections of Manchester City on field. He can do this in his best day and Chelsea will have to put many hope on Kante. Manchester City if fall into the greedy to win, might be trapped by Tuchel and Chelsea.

The key is from Kante and De Bruyne. I know Man City have many stars in their squad but De Bruyne is a hub of their tactic operations.

Kante and de Bruyne exactly. If these two guys perform, their team performs. Their front attacking force aren't really so great, not on their own. Relying totally on the creativity from midfield, and same the defence relying on the snuffing out of attacks also from midfield.

Chelsea's top scorer has 7 goals all from penalties, this is what we are faced with from the Blues:)
5239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: At what point do you stop buying the dip? on: May 25, 2021, 10:43:01 AM
When you don't know anything about where the dip is you shouldn't put all your money for the expectation of buying the dip. Always do your own analysis and don't put all your money in dips. We saw %95 losses on altcoins, you can never be so sure about dips. For BTC 30k looked like a dip but we may see lower prices and when BTC fall down alts fall worse. Buying coins from cheaper prices are always good but it's impossible to guess the dip every time.

Well in that case, nobody will be putting money down on limit orders. That's perfectly fine for traders to not know, hence several limit orders and even in both ways.

You're a trader, you have to predict these scenarios, and you always buy the dip.

Not a trader or not willing to take the risk. Dollar cost average. Easy, simple, and it ALWAYS works:)
5240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 25, 2021, 08:59:42 AM
Seems that Konate is a done deal for Liverpool. Personal terms agreed, release clause will be paid in full, Liverpool is only trying to negotiate better payment terms (in installments rather than upfront).
This probably means Kabak's release clause won't be triggered, meaning he's going to the 2. Bundesliga. Someone will trigger that clause for sure, he's a decent prospect. Happy it's not Liverpool, although I don't rate Konate highly as well.

Wijnaldum looks like he's off to Bayern. Great deal for them, they were thin in midfield.

Liverpool confirmed Konate? That is a big deal, credit to them for getting this right. Their two fill-ins at centerback can't remember their names did well but you could see how nervous they are and not even close to a veteran's professionalism. Solid and calmness? That's totally missing from them.
