Nice to see that GetHashing has made the list.

@OP, the fees for GH are not accurate. I assume that you've based your calculation only on numbers for April which wasn't a great month mainly because of Bitcoins exchange rate. The correct Payout vs Fees calculation from February through April is.

So, what s the ROI?
5242  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is cloud mining reliable? on: May 01, 2015, 08:09:10 PM
Why do you want to invest in cloud mining?

Why do you want to pay someone to mine coins for you when you can just buy coins?

there is only one reason, to increase your bitcoin amount, while you can do it with mining, you can't exactly do it with buying alone, unless you go with trading and you are good a t it

Where can you rent a miner that will give you more coins than you give them? Why would they do that?

Cause by renting hash ASIC manufacturers reduce the risk. If they sell us hash now, they receive money now, including markup, without being affected by price volatility, difficulty growth, etc.
In other words, they switch variable risk elements to the person who rents hash. Lots of other industries do this.
5243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goldman & Investors put $50 Million in Bitcoin Industry on: May 01, 2015, 03:51:02 PM
I do not like to see price moving up and down based on news. I would like it to be more resilient then that and move due to changes in supply and demand. However, any stock market is sensitive on these kind of news so I guess nothing to add to this.
5244  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining Reliable?? on: May 01, 2015, 03:49:16 PM
Simple, I have voted no. Cloud mining it is not more reliable or better profitable. Why? Because they are only a ponzi schemes and they don't have that 'power hash' of calculation.

Cloud mining still better than normal mining Smiley
They already set miners for their customer & usually has lower electricity & maintenance fee than normal mining, so you can safe your time & money

But, it's difficult to got profit from both of them Sad

Who is that take profit from cloud mining, only the creator(s) of that 'service".

Again, not true, cloud mining can be profitable if you know what to do and devise a smart reinvesting strategy.
5245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem i see with bitcoin. on: May 01, 2015, 10:34:08 AM
The only problem BTC s got is consumer protection. Most of people stay away cause they feel BTC s somehow connected to scammers and ponzi pumpers. Once there s appropriate, very loose legislation in place to act as a consumer protection mechanism, BTC acceptance s going to increase and this ll affect the price as well.
5246  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Top Cloud Miners Compared by Profitability on: May 01, 2015, 10:31:21 AM
Why not add stakeminers.com ?
They're awesome I heard and stakeminers isn't a Ponzi like scrypt.cc Smiley

Cause the title of the thread is cloud miners and not cloud stakers.
5247  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: StakeMiners.com on: May 01, 2015, 10:30:07 AM
I will update once i get to my pc.

The server seems to be offline. Anyone can verify this?

Seems its working now.

Yes, everything s fine. Guess a temporary glitch.

I am so sorry, I was trying to add another layer of security to our account information and applied it to the wrong folder. Sorry about that. It is indeed back up and running again.

How do you plan to deal with PoS diminishing resources? For example, TEK s not paying even close to what they used to pay due to PoS difficulty going up. Great service BTW.

I am really impressed with this coin and think that it is heavily undervalued big time for the price that people are selling it for Smiley Keep up the amazing work folks Smiley

YES!

This is what I ve been telling people for some time. With our community and our Dev team, we simply cannot fail. There are great things ahead of us.

5251  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What to invest BTC in? on: April 30, 2015, 07:26:25 PM

Is that a new altcoin to be invested? The first time I ever heard about it and please link the info to me may be I will start to get that altcoin if it attracted to me. Btw what good things that it ever published?

I don't think it's all that new, but here is the ANN thread. I solo mined one DMD once, it took a full day with 2 graphics cards, and was worth .17 cents after.  Roll Eyes

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=255806.0

That s not the correct ANN thred, this one is:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=580725.0

BTW, DMD is PoS coin as well, 50% annual PoS. An interesting coin to buy, hold and stake. I do not think there are any really profitable alts to solo mine anymore. But mining and staking is a different story.

No problem Whitesox, I completely understand you.

Not only we have a honest dev team but also a very busy dev team. This new wallet update is a perfect proof of that. It is not a mandatory update but it does bring a lot of interesting features and improvements.

To the MARS then, as you put it.  Grin Grin
5253  Economy / Securities / Re: Anything sustainable worth of investing? on: April 30, 2015, 12:46:53 PM
Hey guys,

I post these questions a lot recently on different forums but I ve not been able to receive a satisfactory answer. Has BTC economy really turned into a sea of ponzies and scam?
Is there ANYTHING worth of investing these days? Anything which might provide sustainable dividend, regardless of how low it might be?

Pls do not post cryptodublers, pyramid schemes, 5% per day ROI websites and similar junk. Only verifiable and transparent options pls.

Just Just-Dice in my opinion, I haven't seen a service where there is a non-guaranteed but solid chance of return other than that gambling site, not that their aren't good investments around the problem is that they aren't IPO or fundraising at this time.
In my opinion its a good time to wait or sit in cash/btc while waiting for investment opportunities to spring up.

I presumed you wanted an interest bearing investment in the entire crytocurrency sphere that can then be reconverted back to Bitcoin with a solid chance of a positive return in a future point in time.

Since there wasn't much mentioned in the Bitcoin sphere I think the whole crytocurrency system + conversions seems like a better area to look at and we might get some interesting ideas if anyone has any suggestions.

Interesting, could you elaborate a bit on just-dice. How does all this investment process work? What is your personal ROI experience with them?
5254  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What to invest BTC in? on: April 30, 2015, 12:45:15 PM
I suggest you to invest to promising altcoins with some of your BTCs. First you have to make a good research, and after you invest you should be patient. Do not sell or buy at instant pumps/dumps. Set a sales strategy yourself. for example, when the price is increased by 10%, i will sell 15% of my coins I have, etc.

I certainly believe that you will earn a significant profit in long term.

How can you know if there is really promoising altcoin? You dont need to invest like that. Its just the same as ponzi if you doing that. For couple of days it will go higher but later it will drop so significant and make you lose a lot of it. And its like wasting time on doing that

So, we just have to sell altcoin all we have when the price still high
It's risky, but we could earn a lot of profit

Still better than lending without collateral

Yes its true that selling altcoin when bitcoin is skyrocketing is good, you can earn a lot from it. But how are you gonna choose before which altcoin is the best for you to play like that? It is too risky better you do bitcoin trading is more promising than just to pick random altcoin

I think it's just matter of luck

You won't get profit from altcoin trading
The risk is too high while the profit isn't too much

But I think if you really know what altcoin is the best and you invest so many in there may be you will get profit but still there is very high risk that it will drop drastically or skyrocketing

DMD Diamond, my first choice. 50% per year stake, very active dev team and lots of new things to be introduced soon.

Why do you want to pay someone to mine coins for you when you can just buy coins?

Not true, I ve been playing with some more prominent cloud mining websites and I can confirm you can make money with cloud mining. But you do need to make a decent investment and constantly reinvest large chunk of your profit. ROI is between 6-8 months, if you are smart.

Buying coins is OK but we re trying to develop and industry here. Buying and holding brings nothing to it.

Hi i've been searching about cloudmining and would like to invest on it.

i came across genisis mining and scrypt.cc

can any of you guys please tell me if its worth it? and please tell me about your experience... thank you!

scrypt.cc is most likely a Ponzi - so it's a gamble, you could always lose your money.

Genesis is probably legit but a big joke in terms of ROI.

So he should go with something in between, Hashnest or BIT-X.

Define reliable? Is it profitable? Yes, it can be if you know what to do. Is it safe? Depends on the service you select.
