You don't have to do this now. As the software is open source, somebody could contribute such a protocol and then you incorporate it into your signed builds.
Yes, this is very nice concept but currently out of our project's scope. As you write, once the Trezor is released, it is a matter of rather small firmware modification ... Is this going to have a re-writeable firmware? I thought it was going to be fused to allow only a single access to the memory for backup purposes. Maybe I'm thinking of another project.

Yeah, 17 seems to be a magic number for bitcoin, but just like real life, 18 is safer. why? Isn't 19 and 20 more safer ?? In case you missed it. The implies a humorous sentiment. Your reply indicates that you did not observe this indication. I feel obligated to point this out specifically for your edification. If I misunderstand your reply, then please accept my ten thousand deepest apologies.

Again: may God bless your little hearts. The brown-shirted functionaries of our party will allow you your continuous use of your knees just for the cost of letting them watch while you press the buttons on your trezor in the privacy of your house. If you drop your trezor in our party headquarters you will be paid one sausage for your kindness and cooperation in furthering the efficient democracy.
Geez, you think this is some sort of conspiracy or something? The Trezor represents an idea, not just a single device. Bitcoin is an experiment just like democracy was an experiment. The latter failed. Let's just give these little wide-eyed optimists the benefit of a doubt to play their own experiment out. You can sit by and make insults, but it doesn't really add anything except to the ignore files. Besides, there is nothing wrong with buying votes directly if you are not allowed to just print your money though monopolistic powers.

Sure... I could understand that for a few days. But 11 days and counting? That doesn't make much sense.
Hello, We have sent funds to Dwolla since last week and we are waiting for the funds to arrive to facilitate the Dwolla withdrawals. The support staff will inform you once your withdrawal is processed. Once again we apologize for the delay. It appears Inaba chose the Bitcoin hating Dwolla for one large (over $1000) fund withdrawal. Poor choice for large amounts. Would it not be better to split up payments through BitInstant, CoinBase, and other exchanges?

This central-bank-killing-liquid-democracy device may become the killer gadget for Occupiers world-wide.

"Look at it! It's a once in a lifetime opportunity, man! Let me go out there and let me get one wave, just one wave before you take me in. I mean, come on man, where I am I gonna go? Cliffs on both sides! I'm not gonna paddle my way to New Zealand! Come on, compadre. Come on!"

ctp.itp.ac.cn/EN/article/downloadArticleFile.do?attachType=PDF&id=12541This one is out there, but kind of what I was expecting Rotational systems in fluid mechanics have some really weird entropy and thermodynamic behaviour, much of it to do with non-equilibrium effects and there is always the Mach principle to be aware of when describing boundaries for total system entropy .... Anyway, as I suspected this author seems to suggest some really strange artefacts inside Kerr geometry blackholes when using entropic gravity formulation. ".... this force represents the repulsive force acting on superradiant co-rotating modes." ... cue the anti-gravity loons in 5, 4, 3, 2 ... This may be very close to what I've been looking for. I'll have to struggle through the math, but they use similar language to my hypotheses of hypertoroidal energy, gravitic temperature, and fractal space-time expansion.

Or science, depending on your viewpoint. Cute illusion, BTW. It doesn't look like a very comfortable contraption.

Hell, I'm waiting for a visionary billionaire to buy all the bitcoins available on mtgox while it's at such a low price.

I heard bits and pieces of these events, but did not tie them together. I find it a shame that the project folded and nobody rescued it. Bitcoin needs a second wind with some new blood and ideas. A think tank like 20Mission would be a powerful opportunity for Bitcoin minded people.

Why do you even care if anyone trusts you? I would prefer to not have to be trusted. Admiration and gratitude is enough for me. Seriously, Bitcoin offers trustless and transparent fiancial transactions. Use this to model your next venture, and set an example that even Jesus H Christ could not beat.

Love it. On the back I might want something like: BTC an idea too big to fail.
That is a phrase associated with bailing out banks and has a negative connotation. Yet it is true. I suppose that the irony is lost on many.

I guess it's time to wind this little contest down. But before I do, how about one more submission?
Okay, one to win this thing... Love it. On the back I might want something like: BTC an idea too big to fail. [edit] from Wikipedia: E-Prime (short for English-Prime, sometimes denoted E′) is a prescriptive version of the English language that excludes all forms of the verb to be. E-Prime does not allow the conjugations of to be—be, am, is, are, was, were, been, being

About bitcoins as a central bank reserve currency: Of course it could be. The central banks (currently inflating in concert) could buy half of the existings bitcoins now <snip>
How would they buy half of the existing bitcoins? On MtGox? It would be harder to do it later. People don't panic as quickly anymore. You'll only see the price rise quite a bit and once it hits a certain point, folks will no longer trade bitcoins for fiat.
