The only moves that I will commend with regards to emission are that if you don't like the emission, either fork and try to get people to use your fork or to just create a merge mined coin with a longer emission.

Thank you.

Hi, I donated 10 xmr several days ago when the bcx drama had just started. Messaged cAPSLOCK but no reply?

Very sorry.  Was in Vegas for a couple days with limited access.

Why does anyone give a shit about this "FUD"?

If there is any exploit in Monero, the coin will be forked again and the hole plugged, this will all be forgotten in a week.

He'll show his cards and that's that.

BcX is just a lonely bored wanker with nothing better to do than cash in on his Hero profile super-FUD for cheap XMR.

Is it just me or does this guy look familiar LOL

Sock puppetmaster target acquired. Wink

Dear FBI:

We are a community who is developing Monero, a cryptocoin that will (a) make it impossible for someone to steal someone else's  money, and (b) make it impossible for you or anyone else to identify the source or destination af any payment, even if it is not connected to criminal or terrorist activity.

Bolded section reveals much about your opinion of the relationship of government to the governed.

It seems bytecoin price is not affected.

Also the number 1 is still holding at 1.

Seems the universe is not concerned.

i have 1 GPU, how do i solo mine with it? usually i connect to moneropool.org.

i know it does not mean much but its a solid 315 h/s Smiley

Good question. I have never seen an answer to this. GPU mining is only set up for pools? Perhaps we'll get a better answer.

Meanwhile, put it on a smaller pool, with a backup pool configured.

Also, don't forget to solo mine on your CPUs as well.

Thanks for the support!

I do believe gpu mining has been a pool only thing in the past and I think it still may be.  I know some folks have set up their own pool to mine "solo".

What's the mater with you developers? You have to believe in your product. Go all in. Don't sit here and say this is your hoby project. An anonymous crypto with the correct attributes has enormous potential. Show us your enthusiasm and commitment!

My personal choice is not to do that rhetorically, or even openly.

I guess I'm the anti-shill.

You don't tell em!
5248  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: September 21, 2014, 06:20:09 AM
Okay you guys get BCX under the influence LOL

1.5 750's of Stoli Elite is damn near truth serum

The LTC bastards double crossed me, fucke'm but they are beyond my abilities to kill due to hash rate or I would.

I did indeed post on Poloniex earlier.

I will indeed force Monero to rapidly evolve or die.

The choice is yours.

~BCX~

How much time left until fireworks?

What are you going to do?

Has the attack started? Hash rate is 25MH/s, while the price is 0.0028x

There was a huge volume spike with price movement down over at Poloniex about an hour ago. 33265 Moneros sold within a minute for ~95 bitcoins.
claymore converts into btc?  Cheesy

Lol. Well...  it could be.  But...

Hey CoinHumper,

I would much rather be a smart, competent, and generally good _tradesman_career_here_  than a stupid, shitty, half-assed one.  Sometimes new blood and new guys are better than the old washed-up types.

I have been around long enough in life, experience, technology, the internet, and even in crypto to have seen a few things. I am confident that I can tell my ass from the proverbial....

Everyone keeps kissing BCX ass about all these coins he has supposedly killed. I looked into his historical posts about a week ago, after all the hype. All I saw was bickering and bantering of all flavors and varieties.

Fuck BCX and his lame ultimatum. And fuck you, CoinHumper and TFM.

Put up or shut the fuck up.

Please stop attacking TFM.  He is on the side of the coin and us.
5252  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: September 20, 2014, 08:24:47 PM
All of which is public information. Tremendous confidence isn't really good enough.. what else?

You are going to have to satisfy yourself then.  Noone can be sure there is not a team of people posting as Anonymint and his other psedonyms.

I would personally place a very large bet on the identity being the same.  And I am confident it is all one man, who lives in the Phillipines, created cool page etc, is a cryptography autodidact, is ~ 5'7, sufffers nerve damage from a AI disease, etc etc...

I'll bet you 1BTC TFM and Anonymint are the same.
5253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -> Monero Community Hall of Fame <- on: September 20, 2014, 08:16:32 PM
I believe i've updates everyone with all corrections.  Sorry for the ommision earlier Lloyd.

Feel free to correct me if you see an omission.  I try, but I might miss now and then.
5254  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: September 20, 2014, 08:01:42 PM
Reduction of anonymity set is confirmed in BCX's exploit, so please stop bagging on BCX. He appears to be legit. I am working with smooth now on mitigation and also whether wallets can be stolen or not. That is a key question.

Appears the CN devs were already aware of some of what I pointed out, but I may have a key insight. Still trying to determine this.

Am busy right now on this. So be patient.

can other long term posters confirm if you are or are not anonymint?

I can confirm with tremendous confidence that he is Anonymint.
5255  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: September 19, 2014, 08:18:58 PM

Ok but where is the contradiction?  Whales are trying to pump XMR from this one message from gmaxwell.  Id like some further clarification on the comment.

Lol.  Whales are not pumping anything.
5256  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: September 19, 2014, 06:49:57 PM
2) There is no break down in the encryption but in how it is implemented.
This is in direct contradiction to your original claim that it cannot be fixed without giving up on anonymity. I call bullshit.

Oh my.

5257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: rpietila Altcoin Observer on: September 19, 2014, 04:47:32 PM
Sorry, but this makes no sense. 5% of today's hashrate could 51% attack the coin.

Seriously, all these discussions lately about changing fundamental stuff just because people are not happy with the price are tiring.
Changing the fundamentals of a coin because you want an immediate increase in price is wrong. Given the stability of XMR despite the fact that it is everything but user friendly for the average Joe, and all the attacks, I'd say the fundamentals in terms of emissions are about perfect.

AMEN
5258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: rpietila Altcoin Observer on: September 19, 2014, 04:46:06 PM
The admittedly quite clever campaign that used the fake pro-Monero trolls may have influenced BCX's initial reaction.

After the PM exchange was published, I believe BCX was just trying to save face.

Link?

If 2012 is our guide, 2016 is not unrealistic. Lets say I just consider such a scenario as quite possible. Not many are prepared for this.

How shall we prepare?
