5241  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Free mining software? on: February 22, 2016, 12:45:16 PM
you can mine with your laptop alright. But you can't mine Bitcoin.
so you can mine other altcoins and then change them for BTC
Try minergate
Mining anything is dead. Nothing good will come out. It'll be impossible to profit even mining some shit like ethereum, and you'll end up with a burned-out cpu and graphics card.
5242  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: I have some questions about mining on: February 22, 2016, 12:40:19 PM
I would suggest you get a cheap usb miner or one of those fancy u3 antminers, or if you like wasting electricity, going with an s1 antminer. Profit is impossible without an Antminer S7 or Avalon 6, and even those probably won't roi, much less survive block halving. If your electricity is cheap, like 0.05$/kwh, you could use a cheap miner and still get shit. Not much, but maybe.
5243  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Page AntMiner on: February 22, 2016, 12:35:41 PM
Scan your ips. I found this one off the top of my head, angryip.org/download. First, unplug the miner and scan. Then scan with miner on. If there is a difference, use that ip in your browser. Should work.
If your router isn't set to 192.168.1.x, that may also be the problem.
5244  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best Pool on: February 22, 2016, 12:31:56 PM
GTX 780 + i7

I see. Sorry, you can't mine Bitcoin with that. You really need dedicated and competitive Sha256d ASIC to make anything. If you have free electricity you could look into getting some obsolete Antminer S1's. For 10$ that would be nice and give you a small bit of Hashrate.
First off, he probably could still mine Ethereum even though AMD graphics cards offer a much better hashrate on Ether than Nvidia.
Two, S1s aren't ten bucks. They cost forty on the cheapest places like eBay, and thats not even with shipping. Ten bucks gets you nothing. Even Block Erupter USBs are being sold at the high price of twenty bucks these days.
5245  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Total Bitcoins to ever be produced:21,000,000 so what about lost coins? on: February 22, 2016, 12:26:23 PM
If they're lost, they're lost. Private keys are about as safe as keeping your bitcoins on a computer on mars. Nobody can get to it, and it's essentially lost forever. It's quite a shame, but that's the result of any currency.
5246  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best Online Bitcoin Wallet on: February 22, 2016, 12:23:59 PM
I don't think fee should be less than 0.0002
That's why many people are unsatisfied with speed of transactions when they correcting their wallets to lower already low fee. Blockchain like others (exchanges and gambling sites) charging recommended fee.
Blockchain does offer a recommended fee, but its only recommended and you can change it to a fee-less transaction. Without fees, yeah, transactions are slower than snails. It's your fault when you make the fee low and complain about speed.
5247  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Increase my bitocins. on: February 22, 2016, 12:17:45 PM
I would suggest you try to invest on a loans or you learn trading altcoins and get a little profit every day Smiley

Trading altcoins is a quick way to burn through your Bitcoins unless you trade with luck or have insider information about the coin you plan to invest in. Otherwise it's just gambling.

Trading altcoins not depend on luck. but depending on your knowledge. yes true at least have accurate information about the coin.

I want to learn about altcoins trading. Will you share info how & where i can do it.What's the minimal amount required to start trading.
None at all. You just need to be good at seeing indicators of price change and do good decisions. In fact I trade often too. A good site.. well.. can't think of one off the top of my head but yobit is an average exchange to use.

Trading altcoins is 65% luck , 35% skill. Prices change so quick that you may lose all your bitcoin in that altcoin, or you could make huge amounts of money on the altcoin. Very risky trading but you have the potential to make big money trading like that.
5249  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how can i earn with bitcoin please? on: February 22, 2016, 12:18:23 AM
You can store you bitcoins and wait for a nice price, you can invest your bitcoins in some sites or trade it.

I like the first part of the suggestion. We should hold most of the coin. We may invest a small portion.
You can't count on making a profit. Bitcoin could take a huge dive or pump to heaven. But all of these fluctuations are extremely slow and it'll get you nowhere for the most part.
5250  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Get money by posting WITHOUT signature campaigns on: February 22, 2016, 12:16:11 AM
Tipping is impossible in this forum, maybe on youtube and redit but not here. Better go with sigs.
It's rare, but not impossible. I've seen some pretty substantial tips from some very good posts or threads. It's not a good way to get rich, but if you do good work, yeah, you will get tipped someday. It could be a penny or a whole bitcoin or two, only time can tell.
5251  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Core Help on: February 21, 2016, 06:21:46 PM
Blockchain is a pain in the ass. For someone like me with 130 mbps internet, it takes FOREVER to sync. Even though syncing takes so long, it's all worth it because a hard wallet is the best way to keep bitcoin. Best security.
5252  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pumping phase active now, Dumping phase to come on: February 21, 2016, 01:55:18 PM
Yes, it is true, 20$ in 2 days it's good, but  i'm afraid, that like you said, dumping will come soon, and it will drop more than it rise
Bitcoin is now fucked. Nobody will let btc rise because there will always be that one guy with 200 btc who dumps it when its just starting to look good. Let's face it, BTC will never make it out of 400$.

5254  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to block iPhone5 and iPhone6 in 30 seconds on: February 21, 2016, 02:08:41 AM
I'm serious, I just did this and my 6s+ keeps rebooting. Then I read that the only way to fix it is to go to an apple store.
Thanks.

I will try to memorize it as a future jokes.. Grin
Thanks!
Holy shit, you're right, THESE ARE FUNNY! I can say that these posts made my day. The best mix of just ignorancy and stupidity, and humor. Something only found in the off-topic in bitcointalk. It's a compliment guys Smiley
5256  Other / Off-topic / Re: what pc game should i play on: February 21, 2016, 01:59:23 AM
Play CS 1.6 on the lowest settings, lowest resolution. Great classic fps that I play several times a week to keep in practice in GO. Requires true skill, as most people you will find on CS 1.6 are veterans. It's also a great way to have fun and hone your fps skills. I learned the majority of my fps knowledge in 1.6.
5257  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you know to play an instrument ? #014 on: February 21, 2016, 01:55:24 AM
I was forced (ish) to play the flute when I was young, but I got pretty good and now I pick it up every so often and have a blast.

I'm a little drunk right now, but it would be really cool to do some sort of Bitcointalk music collaboration... Like we pick a famous piece of music and someone records one part, then send the recording on to the next guy who records the next as a separate part etc. Then someone mixes them all together to make the ultimate decentralized orchestra!!
That sounds like the best idea ever.. but I don't know any other people that would be willing to do this. Otherwise I would love to participate in that if it ever happened Cheesy
Music is the best.
5258  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: CKPool Stats - iPhone App on: February 21, 2016, 12:42:11 AM
Great app. I'm currently using this to monitor one s3 and it's very interactive. If there was this app on android I would probably download it on my other phone as well, but since there isn't i'll have to stick with my little iphone 6 Smiley
BTW great job, we need more people like you in this world.
5259  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Miners and revenue on: February 21, 2016, 12:36:37 AM
The price will go up for bitcoin, and maybe (JUST MAYBE!) all the bitcoin you mine today with your ultra-super-inefficient s1s or s2s or even 3s and 5s will make you cash. One can only dream of the day this happens, but when it does, I will be swimming in bitcoin.
The value of bitcoin will be around 800-900$ is my guess. It could be much lower or higher, but i'll look at this thread in june and laugh at how off I was.
5260  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Correct me if I am wrong here on: February 21, 2016, 12:18:21 AM
First of all, thank you for your time,
I wonder about the mining opportunity that is left.
Did we not allready lose Bitcoin ?

For some time I am really interested in Bitcoin , I have found mining opportunity to mine at 2 ct. Electricity. Location rent is free. All I need is hardware. I have tried buying second hand miners on the Dutch market. It is very limited and full of outdated hardware. New hardware seems to be made to have impossible ROI. This is my calculation for S7 as an example, the S7 is for now the best hardware I have found online.

Unit (820usd) + decent PSU (100 usd) + shipping/vat. (100 usd)   = 1020 usd

Current monthly revenue is 160 usd per month
If we take the halting into account in 5 months and the difficulty increase, just see for your self if there
Is any reason to mine.
Is there any miners that want to sell of their btc farm? Or maybe relocate? I really want to use the oppirtunity I have.
I want to wait for the 16nm , I am just sure that they will be overpriced.

You VAT can not be less as 140USD (17%)  per miner.
This is the lowest VAT in EU , but not Dutch VAT.

I can sell you some S7 , if the price is right. Left 40 x S7

Or maybe relocate - yes. But then I have to come in person. I do not believe so cheap electricity.

If someone has 2 cent electricity I don't understand why they would want someone to relocate.  Maybe I'm greedy but if I paid 2 cent's I would own the gear and make more profit.  At 2 cent it's a no brainier.

I do agree on questioning some numbers such as VAT on most of EU it pretty big deal.  Which leads me to think 2 cent number might not be locked down.  Also location does not mention huge warehouse lots of power.  Or a apartment with small amount.
2 cent power is a dream that will never happen for me. I live in South Carolina with cheap energy by the coast, 0.10$/kw to be exact. At 2 cent power, you can afford to buy miners like S5s and still make a profit (I think.). Those things are being sold pretty heavy on amazon and ebay, and with 2 cent elec... DAMN! THE PROFITS... OVER 9000!
