Communist? LOL
It's mostly the U.S. (e.g. fake capitalists) trying to centralize BTC under the pretense of anti-terrorism.
In his defense, the US is about the only place that still has communists.

I saw that episode last night. Very well done and researched. The new part was about the TOW training. That has been rumored for a while, but this is the first real report from the area.

My llama may be interested. He's been creeping over as I read your thread. Unfortunately, he's mean as hell and only gets along with horses.

... If you're still operating under a paradigm of asking permission, you clearly don't understand its potential power.
Understood and respected! However, how many are ready to do jail time for their beliefs? If someone wants to test the IRS over this, I'll kick in a little for their legal defense fund.

Hmm. If I had a way to double my bitcoins I sure wouldn't open it to others. It is not logical. It would make more sense for the op to buy a bitcoin then double it. In a mounth he would have 128+ coins. Within a year he'll have over 70K BTC, that's over $40million. So why does he need my money when he can do all this with just 1BTC?
Like every other thread in here, it's an obvious Ponzi. It's extremely likely the "doubled" transactions are all operator transactions. Very few people are stupid enough to fall for things like this. So I shouldn't have sent him all those coins?

Maybe this would be more understandable if western Christians were true to their religion. It is a sin against God, according to the Bible, for Christians to eat shrimp for example. A sin on par with adultery or homosexuality. Now suppose you actually followed God's laws but some company was caught putting shrimp extract into your Easter candy. For a believer this risks their holiness and standing with God. It is a serious matter for them.

The OP must be thinking it's 1970 or something. That old American economy is gone. In fact purchasing power is dropping every year and many people are retiring into poverty after a lifetime of middle class work.
ya thats kind of true but do yo remember why we got into debt in the first place? Many people get rich only if they can not buy the fancy cars, name brand anything and try to save buying your items at a thrift show. I see many people were rich when the got older because of spending habits alone. Good point. I think it's funny how many people think being rich is all about spending money. As though they got rich that way. My wealthiest friends are proud cheapskates. They don't even care about money, just wining. They can't stand to see some other guy get a higher score then they have.

"Say Experts" What experts? There are none, IMO. Honestly, anyone who calls themselves an expert on bitcoin prices is not to be trusted. They are just guessing like everyone else. I'm with Lauri Anderson on the subject of experts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yVBRDNnt1o

Is that an old air strip on the Maine property? That would make for a convenient commute!
I had intended on building an airstrip, which is one of the reasons that I bought the property. But after living there for the last year, there are way too many awesome animals that would be displaced if I did that. But I have moved my operation to the west coast as a business strategy, and I need to loosen some of my investments because of that. Ahh. I think I might have done the same thing. I wish this was in Wisconsin, It's what I'm looking for locally. I don't about prices in Maine, but I bet this will sell quick. -Cheers

... His manifesto is well-written, but his thought-process is one of a racist, narcissistic, delusional madman. He lived in a fantasy world, where he perceived his shortcomings to be the fault of others, ...
Surely he has an account here? Sad story really. I'm glad it didn't happen here. I would hate to have to gun him down.

Here is why I use bitcoin. It is the fastest, safest, and cheapest way for me to send/receive money anywhere in the world. Credit cards take days to clear. It may seem quick, but all the seller receives is a promise of money in the future. With BTC the seller has money in minutes and the transaction is done and irreversible. It is much safer than a credit card. I could give you my login credentials at Overstock and, while you could see my past purchases, there is no card info and no money to steal. The price is right also. Merchants pay for credit card transactions, and they pay dollars. With bitcoin the customer pays, and pays only pennies. And if I'm sending money to a friend overseas it would cost me many dollars and take along time. Basically, it's better money and that is a powerful idea that is no going away. People seem to forget the value of utility.
