I haven't found freerolls on poker stars. Which section is that under?

Last night I was down to $0.69 so things were looking in jeopardy. However I went final table from $0.55 to get back up to around $16

2$/hour :/ So now I have decided to give up poker and get a job at mcdonalds working with the dude.  Smiley

Haha, still nice one you made it so far in the tournament. Also, your winnings will be much higher when the buy in is higher or just keep grinding up your bankroll with playing multiple tournaments at the same time?  I was watching your stream when you were stuck around  12,000-16,000 chips. Good to see you made it back up.

Are you playing any cash games too?
5242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem Gambling in the wake of covid-19 on: October 02, 2020, 07:25:35 AM
That is the biggest reason for the gambler who played in the casino, whether it's an online or offline casino. I am sure we can't say anything once we win and profit from the gambling games. But you that many people losses their money in gambling.
We have a say whenever we win and that is we want to win more of it. That's our normal reaction whenever our bets are positive and when we win. But if we lose, we still have the same reaction and that is to get back which s if we'll think about the logic.
It's still the same as winning more or taking back.

Unfortunately most people can't be winners in gambling, because if that would be the case then the casinos would all go bankrupt after a while. For the casino to make money it needs some of it's gambler to lose money. Which is not a bad thing. Because most of us are not into gambling for winning or losing a small amount, we are into gambling to win big. It's like with lottery tickets, they are fairly cheap compared to the potential winnings.
5243  Economy / Economics / Re: economic loan new money and covid 19 i want fast on: October 01, 2020, 01:46:21 PM
It can't be properly controlled until the vaccine is out there because the economy suffers banks won't lend much to those that suffer it take a few years for the consequences of the coronavirus on the planet economy to subside. In fact it's not yet clear what percentage people are going to be unemployed we also don't skills many small and medium enterprises are already at a loss therein case it's very difficult to repay the loan.

In my country I find that a lot of banks are still offering loans even though the economy is hit hard by the corona pandemic. The government is injecting a lot of money in the economy, so the banks are keeping the credit lines open. If you have collateral for the loans it's no problem to borrow money. Stopping to hand out new loans would have a terrible effect on the economy because so many companies and individuals rely heavily on borrowing money.
5244  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to earn money with Instagram? on: October 01, 2020, 01:38:02 PM
you need to build a brand, gain followers, and then earn money from sponsorship and endorsement.

This is very difficult and involves a lot of money, time and luck. I would recommend start smaller on instagram. If you are already active on other social media platforms (like twitter, facebook, linkedin), it's a good way to start and get all your followers to follow you on instagram too. Also maybe you are uploading some videos on youtube and can get your viewers to follow you too. It is good to an active follower base, even if it's just a few hundred people. All you need to do is post regularly to keep them coming back to your site and check for new pictures.
5245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: October 01, 2020, 01:21:51 PM
Well I would not be surprised if it were rigged. The only problem I see here is that we don't have the proof that it is so. Only the ones playing the game, refereeing the game, administering the games would know if there is rigging happening. Basketball can be rigged and one player with ill intent and a lot of cash will be able to do so. But of course, without evidence this is all just speculation and hear say that we here on this thread is sometimes very good at doing.

I don't think the NBA is rigged. There are just too many teams with so many players and other personal involved. So many people depend on the NBA, it would just need one of those people to come forward with some proof and everything would be over. Also what are the chances that all these people are working so close together? Usually if we see rigged matches in sports, it's 1 or 2 teams involved and the referees. The NBA is just too big to be rigged in my opinion.
5246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling License on: October 01, 2020, 08:37:44 AM

Questions:

2. Is it enough that they offer provably fair games?

3. If it's an "old" casino, you can check their reputation and reviews from players but what if it's new?

I think your question 2 and 3 are very closely related. Unforntunately a gambling license is not a guarantee that the games are fair games. It would still be on us gamblers to check the games if the are actually fair games. Most gamers just rely on the reputation of a good casinos and look for reviews. So with new casinos it's hard for anybody to determine if it's legit or a scam. The casino website could be 100% legit, with license, provably fair games and everything, and in the end it could still be a scam if you have issue when withdrawing money from the casino site. My approach for new casinos is that I usually only play with small fund (less than $50) and see if everything is alright. When there are issues withdrawing my initial funds again I know something is wrong with casino and I am glad for not depositing more money.

I've heard the pricing of Microsoft's new (low end) game console might be popular in the UK/Internationally due to it's pricing, especially compared to what PS is going to be offering.  Anyone overseas have an opinion on this?  Will this get some PC gamers onto consoles?  Will this get PS users to switch to Xbox?

https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2020/09/09/introducing-xbox-series-s/

Sounds very competitive compared to the PS5. But what about the games, will games for XBox also cost 80€? This is such a rip off for the European consumers compared to Asia or North America. If the won't make the games cheaper for us I will not be buying the new console. In my opinion the PS4 is still a good console, better to wait until next year for some lower prices.

5249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: September 30, 2020, 01:18:24 PM

A lot of the blame is of the sites, while many say: "Come and have fun with our games", others lure you with the promise: "Come play and become a millionaire", or "win a Lamborghini".

that should never be the purpose of these games, or am I wrong to think so?

Yeah it's usually one lucky guy who becomes the millionaire, but they don't tell you how many people have to lose first before one can become the millionaire or win the Lamborghini. A lot of people need to lose so their loss is pooled together for a big win. I mean the purpose of the games is of course to win money, but it should all be in proportion. We need to manage our expectations, if we win it's usually a small amount. Winning big in the lottery is just so unlikely.
5250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: just made a mimnecraft server that is bitcoin casino on: September 30, 2020, 11:58:47 AM

5251  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you have $20k then where you want use it? on: September 30, 2020, 11:43:30 AM
If someone would give me $20k without any restrictions and let me invest it to my best knowledge. I would take half of it and put into cryptos. Most of it into bitcoins and the rest I would spread out across 5 alt coins. The other $10k I would use for gambling. Half of it I would use for luck based games like black jack and roulette. The other half I would use for my poker bankroll and try to move up to higher stakes.
5252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: World 2020 - LoL World Championship on: September 30, 2020, 11:38:03 AM

I don't know if you know, but these transmissions have very long delays. Compare the results of the matches and the score on the screen in Twitch. This is unfair at the very beginning. The bookmaker smokes you without soap ...

Oh really? I didn't know that. So if you watch the games in the client you will be ahead to viewers watching from stream? Or is it delayed too and only the people in the audience are watching in real time? Maybe there is chance to exploit it if you have someone watching the matches live and you bet at home talking to them on the phone. I saw something similar happening in tennis betting, where they would bet right before the score was transmitted to the bookmakers.
5253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting small amounts on a lot of matches or big amount on couple of matches? on: September 30, 2020, 08:31:45 AM

No one can be sure of winning in gambling, regardless of the odds or chances you will pick.

In dice, you can put 1.10 multiplier but you can never have a 100% chance of winning, the same principle is applied in sports as well.
You know, the most important is to be able to determine the risk and to understand the real chance of winning and that is by knowing the game and your chances of winning realistically.

I agree with you, there is no guarantee of winnings when betting. We need to diversify our risk with spreading them over more bets in my opinion. There can always be a time of a few bad beats in a row. And we have multiple bets instead of just one, it doesn't hurt us so much if we lose some. Mixing a few bets with high risk/high reward into our other bets is a good way to get higher returns from time to time. And if we don't win we still have our usual bets to cover the loses.
5254  Economy / Economics / Re: Anybody here trying to live bankless (using Bitcoin / cryptocurrencies)? on: September 30, 2020, 08:09:58 AM
How i wish i can use all my cryptocurrencies in daily living but it is difficult since my country may not be banning bitcoin/cryptos
but not totally supporting this meaning the use of these currencies are limited, and mostly we are using
this for investing in future ,we believe that sooner it will be indeed available for our daily living but for now?we will only invest, accumulate and Hold or maybe
 sometimes convert into fiat
specially when the value is growing high that profits is coming our ways.

I am trying to live bankless as much as possible because the fees are just getting insanely high for me. For example, there are fees on your checking account, extra fees for any transaction, fees on the credit card, special fees for your portfolio and depot and so on. With these fees and no interest on my savings it's just not worth it to leave money at the bank. Most of my payments I am doing with cash. It would be awesome if supermarkets and gas stations would accept bitcoins.
5255  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Presidential debates on: September 30, 2020, 07:57:48 AM

Did he do a bad job? Yes.

But can we really blame him? Guy really didn't have a lot to work with. Both Trump and Biden were really losing it on one another with the constant talking over one another -- I do have to say that Trump totally talked way too much and made himself look very dumb there.

Totally true on the whole - let Biden talk and we can probably end up somewhere where he stumbled by himself. But Trump just made himself look like a buffoon without letting Biden talk. Biden stumbled in the beginning and Trump should've let him continue to stumble.

Less on the Hunter Biden stuff, more on the socialist side of the party. More on law and order. More on Biden being in politics for 47 years and getting nothing done. Biden is part of the establishment and so on and so forth.

October surprise is going to really be needed to help propel Trump. This isn't looking good for the GOP right now.

I only watched the main parts from the debate but this was really rough. It kind of reminds me of 4 years ago when Trump had the first debate with Hillary. Trump trying to bully his opponent around and they try to keep their cool. In my opinion it will have no really impact on the polls. The people who will vote for Trump know what they are getting and are not going to change their opinion because of the debate. As for Biden it's early to see people abandon him. I think it will take another debate for people to start switching their opinions.

HOW many people's post have you merited since you started on this forum?

If I see a good post I always leave a merit if I have some to give. On top of that I am trying to give out Merits every time I receive a merit myself, if it makes sense of course.  It's quite hard to receive merits on this forum, so I am trying to help out newer members to rank up if possible.
5257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What was your Worst losing streak at bitcoin dice with 1.5 payout? on: September 30, 2020, 06:52:31 AM
have you ever used this payout in dice and what was your worst streak so far. have you ever tried 1.5 payout , 2 satoshi(or more zeros) first bet and increase on loss 210 %?

When I was new to dice I tend to do the 1.5 payout strategy for a long time. In the end I got broke so many times. My problem was that I started to big and didn't have enough bankroll to cover losses. I think my higest was losing 10-12 times in a row.
5258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VR online casino games take gambling to the new level 🚀 on: September 29, 2020, 06:16:39 PM

I remember that I saw a game that requires us to use google to play in the past, and we have a virtual image which is looks in front of us. So when we play adventure games, that will look real, but I never played on those games.

Perhaps, that VR technology will be like that because I don't know those games. The difference is the VR games must connect to the internet to be played with other players. If the VR technology can evolve to easy, simple, and the important is the game is cheap, that game will attract people to play on that game. And yes, that will give a real-life experience better for us.

VR is the future of gaming and probably also of gambling. We all enjoy better graphics and more interaction with the games. And the more people use it, the cheaper will be the equipment and the more companies will switch to VR. I can't wait to be using VR technology for gambling. It's already so much fun when gaming with VR. My wish for this years Christmas is a VR headset.
5259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is for day trading on: September 29, 2020, 06:07:43 PM
For me altcoins are not for daytrading because i don't have the time and energy to be up to date all the time.
I buy the altcoins that i like and hold them at leats 1 year because of tax regulations in my country.
Of course i know that there is a lot of pump und dump going on. Just look at all those uniswap listings.

I agree with you, it's very time consuming to do day trading profitable. You need to do research on various alt coins to be able to predict the market on a regular basis. Without that you would just be losing money in the long run. To be profitable in day trading you don't only need to make enough to cover transaction cost and other expenses for your equipment, internet and electricity. You would also need to make more money than you would earn in a regular job. That is very hard, it's better to just buy and hold the coins in my opinion.
5260  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ToS, do you read it before using new platforms? on: September 29, 2020, 06:01:16 PM

Many people are skipping that and just check if they agree without even understanding the terms of conditions.

We need to accept the fact that a lot of people are doing that due to their laziness and excitement towards registration.

In some registration, I also doing this, I don't read the terms of condition and privacy policy, but that's not related in investments and important platforms. When I'm accessing new platforms, I spend my time reading those because that's for my own safety and awareness.

Same for me, I usually just skip the TOS which is a bad thing I know. But it's too long to read it all and there are too many different websites with different TOS. One thing I always check of a new website/campaign is where it's based and how long the TOS is. I tend to rely on checking on other website for reviews. This forum is usually a good indication if there are scam accusations or other wrong doings in the past.
