5241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some People Cannot Stop The Urge To Sports Betting And Gamble Even In Pandemic on: May 10, 2020, 01:09:58 AM
A gambler will always find a way and means to gamble, here in our country you cannot stop some gamblers from gambling they will always find ways, our government is giving a dole out and implementing amelioration to those people who are badly in need of money, but unfortunately, there are people who receive dole out from the government and receiver of amelioration, gamble the money they received and bet cockfighting and card games, so many of these people are caught and reported on the media.

You really cannot gambler they always find a way even in the worst-case situation like the pandemic, how about in your country do you have some people who cannot stop to gamble even when your country is in lockdown

It's the same here in our country, people who are considered the poorest among the poor, those who are laid off, and even single parents received help from the government. However, I believe not everyone deserves this money from the government. There are a lot of people who received financial help who used it for gambling, drugs, alcohol and etc. , while there are workers who were not qualified for this financial aid. It would be better if they would have given thia to those who are in need, or those who are really paying tax who were laid-off from work.
5242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I earn money during coronavirus? Is it possible by crypto coins? on: May 07, 2020, 02:17:46 AM
There are a lot of ways to earn while at home, you can trade, join airdrops, do bounties, etc. But it is not as easy as you think this requires time, effort and money, of course not on the bounty and airdrop part. Aside from earning money, maximize your time to gain new skills and experience. this might be a little off-topic but since the lockdown, there are a lot of online jobs that had opened who are in need of staff due to some offices and companies closing down some are working from home. You can use this opportunity to earn and if there are spare, you can invest it in crypto.
5243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe to join campaign does not mean rewarding campaign on: May 07, 2020, 01:09:24 AM
All of the good features of a perfect campaign doesn't guarantee success or profit for projects and even bounty hunters. There had been a lot of bounty campaigns out there that had a successful crowdfunding stage, all sold out, listed in an exchange and a working product and now had almost far from their initial stage. Just do a diligent work or research before joining, this will save you time from joining scam campaigns.
5244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too scared to go for altcoins? on: May 07, 2020, 12:33:54 AM
I honestly haven't invested in any fork coins yet and I consider the as an altcoin not as a part of Bitcoin itself since they are derived from the idea and concept of BTC itself. In terms of speed and transaction fee I believe someone already said it XRP would be the most ideal.
5245  Economy / Gambling / Re: My urge to go to land base casino in this lock down and how I fight it. on: May 07, 2020, 12:11:47 AM
There are times that you feel this urges, however, just think of the possible things that could happen if you give your self away from this. Anyways, you don't have any option since casinos are closed. Diversion is always the key to keep your mind away from something. I do something when I come to the same point, if for example I want to buy or do something that is way beyond my budget, I visualize and think how would I feel after buying or doing something, then after that I don't feel the urge anymore.
5246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Michael Jordan’s gambling history revisited. on: May 06, 2020, 11:41:16 PM
I guess most sports celebrities have their own hobbies aside from what they are already doing. It's not just MJ, there might be other celebrities, Manny Pacquiao has a cockpit farm and he is into cock fighting. I guess it is normal for them since they are earning a lot of money and losing some of it means nothing for them.
5247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: does anyone familiar with this crypto poker platform? on: May 06, 2020, 11:11:02 PM
I have never heard of this poker site and will not try to play there because that poker site is new

That's a platform that's just made last month. I'll advise you if you want to play poker, go with a legit poker site that's been operating for so long.

Domain:pokerstraddle.com
Registrar:GoDaddy.com, LLC
Registered On:2020-04-15

How did you know about the website?
I assume that the OP has ulterior motives like introducing that poker site here  Cheesy

It seems that OP os just shilling this website and it is sketchy. There are a lot of other poker platforms that are trusted, so I am really skeptical trying a new one. Why risk trying a new site if there are already reputable site where that are guaranteed safe.
5248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 500$ - 30,000$ Gambling Challenge on: May 06, 2020, 10:21:21 PM
TrumpBets, after you have reached your goal, will you plan to continue or you will withdraw all the winnings ? Cheesy
So far you are doing great and gaining "x" more stable that cryptocurrency.

im sure he will stop and withdrew all his winning because he only state 30k usd  .

he started small at 500 usd and his current balance now is at 4k usd which is already a good achievement  .  this guy do really have a skill  but we dont know if he ever reach 30k usd because that is already a milestone achievement  . im not worrying but what currency he use , stable or not but what im more worried about his run   .

He actually did a huge progress compared to when he started this thread, and I wonder how longer will it take for him to reach his goal with the current situation, or of ever he can make it or not. If ever that was me I would have withdrawn my profit before I end up losing it. But since he has an aim and he is determined to do it due to his goal, I think it would be great to watch his progress as he goes achieving his goal.
5249  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: May 06, 2020, 08:04:09 PM
I do not know exactly what they (China) planned from the start, but seeing from the quick handling they have done on Covid-19 patients has proven that they are the country that is most ready to deal with the Covid-19 virus.  it's likely they had predicted this outbreak first..

I'm actually starting to believe this conspiracy theory and it seems like they have a cure for this virus already. Lots of countries have been battling against the virus but China has surpassed it in just a short period of time which is really questionable unless they're just hiding the truth from us. The best thing that we can do for now is to stay home so we'll never get infected and through that, we could contribute something so we could all go back to our normal lives.
5250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day dreamer! on: May 06, 2020, 07:02:21 PM
If you have joined crypto earlier then you should know how bounty hunting could change lives before. That's actually the reason why most of us here are still hoping that we could earn a good profit through it because most of us have experienced it last 2017. We're not aiming to be rich because cryoto isn't a shortcut to success but with patience and hard work, everything will be paid accordingly at the right time. I'm still hoping for the best because I have a positive outlook on bounty hunting.
5251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you newbie looking for perceive income? Just be careful of AIRDROP on: May 06, 2020, 06:15:22 PM
Airdrops these days are too different from the airdrops that we had a few years ago. We have earned good rewards through airdrops before by just doing simple tasks and we're not asked to provide most of our personal details. It's risky to join airdrops nowadays because they're requiring us to provide our personal details including our social media accounts. They're asking us to do lots of tasks but still ending up being unpaid.
If you're just a newbie, you better not fall for this kind of trap and try to look for better ways to earn in the Crypto world. Airdrops now are ways of scammers to deceive and fool beginners.
5252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: May 05, 2020, 02:13:02 AM
Lockdown is being lifted in a staggered manner across the globe, and I hope that most of the casinos will be back in action very soon.
Even if the casinos started operating ill anyone dare to take risk their life in a situation like this, these are situations no one wanted to undergo but we are forced to follow the protocol designed by the health department and until there is a containment, it is better to stay away from a crowded area.

If that doesn't happen, then a compromise needs to be reached between the two sides. Casinos can't operate online, as we already have online gambling sites for this purpose. Regular visitors may not be comfortable with the online casino games. Either wait until the lockdown is lifted, or try to reach a deal. There is no other option available.
You need to adapt to the situation, i was forced to sit at home for over a month, never visited any crowded places even though i go out once in a while, i never anticipated nor wanted to shut myself inside four walls but there is no other choice considering my health and the health of my relatives and family members.

I think the only choice left just in case this pandemic will last is to make necessary adjustments. Casinos cannot operate the same way as before because of the risk of pandemic. I doubt if casinos will survive if they open and implement social distancing or limit the people who can enter. It is also risky, just imagine the chips, money, tables, slot machines getting infected by gamblers and that will be shared by other gamblers.
5253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: May 05, 2020, 12:55:02 AM
Also, for gambling i can separate not more than 1 % of my budget for month. Because mostly, I lose it, so send something bigger will be just wasting money.
That's a very safe allocation in gambling, I understand that most of us are really losing in gambling, so 1% is really something we can afford to lose.
However, for me, I don't allocate 1% only as I don't earn a lot of money from any source, so let's say I only get $1,000 per month as my net income, then I would only gamble $10 per month, I think there's no fun on that.

I actually allocate an amount after paying all my debts, bills, and buying all my necessities. From that I allocate some funds for my extra activity. I don't personally keep a record of how much I've won or lost because it will only make you regret and think of all the things you could've bought with that amount of money.
5254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mobile Legends Gambling [Part II] on: May 05, 2020, 12:29:25 AM
I casually play Mobile Legends and it would be fun playing with some from this community if there is a free time. if this goes on maybe some can host a tournament with a prize pool if we can gather some players here. But I know that would be difficult to do, but I know there are a lot of online gamers here in this forum.
5255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this period killed your desire or exited it on: May 04, 2020, 11:55:32 PM
I wonder if everything would go back to normal as how it was. Our country is actually starting to adjust to what they call the "new normal", they started making divisions for all transportation, business establishments, sidewalks and etc. Experts say that CORONA will just like be any other disease and it will not vanish. So, I wonder how will people adjust in terms of casino and sports. Let's hope that there will be a vaccine for CORONA soon, because if what experts predicted is true, it will take time and it will be difficult to adapt.
5256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which of the two will you choose as a gambler? on: May 04, 2020, 11:28:50 PM
The safest would be option 2. It is just like keeping your own seed to make sure your account is secured. In option 1, once your e-mail had been compromised by a hacker, the password and any other access can be changed. Each has their own strength, convenience and weaknesses, it all depends on how you keep your credentials secured and your computer clean..
5257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Mayor Wants to Re-open Casinos. Thoughts? on: May 04, 2020, 10:58:34 PM
A big risk for the gamblers because there’s still no cure and the second wave of the virus can happen especially the virus can live on a metal for few hours. The Mayor might be thinking to save the economy and the gambling business and willing to risk the life of many people, well this will still depend on a gambler if they’ll go to casinos but personally, I’d rather play online for now rather than to go to a casino especially on a place where the case of virus is high.

Not just for gamblers, but also the employees and the resident of Vegas and even the U.S. this will increase or will make the spread of virus faster. I wonder if there are still gamblers who will visit a real-time casino knowing the risk. Re-opening the casino will not help their economy that much because of the risk of getting COVID if they go to casinos.

5259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: It seems like it's the end for bounties on: May 03, 2020, 02:56:39 PM
This had been going for so long and it is not a new scheme. A lot of bounties go like that, and sometimes they would even blame bounty hunters for the dump. Some projects lock-out team tokens for a certain period of time to make sure nobody on their end would dump their token,. I think this would somehow build confidence for the whole community.
5260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in this new IEO on: May 03, 2020, 02:09:16 PM
Having an IEO in a highly reputable platform might be an edge, but that doesn't ensure that it will be as successful as other IEOs. As you mentioned you are new in investing, take your time reading and reviewing projects, and don't invest due to hype or just because it is in a popular platform.
