5241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 25, 2021, 07:00:41 AM
Next season I forbid anyone from locking in picks and seeing my shitty picks to laugh at me, one should only laugh at me after everything is done and we see it publicly.

Question for the winners, did you make money betting on La Liga? I actually did this season and would make more if I was not so stubborn to keep betting on my team Barca:)
5242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many people who do not understand Bitcoin slander Bitcoin? on: May 25, 2021, 06:29:36 AM
Get used to it. Do you know that also in the rally or every bull run, a lot more people who do not understand Bitcoin also say false things about it?

We take the positive easily yet we do not take the negative as easily. We have to learn to live with both in the end because they actually exist in equal measure, just we only hear the bad shit when it's a down market like now.
5243  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Welcome back to the Premier League- Watford FC!! 🚀 on: May 24, 2021, 04:02:56 PM
I open my account just recently, I'm surprised that the site already has a chat feature, when was that added?
That's cool stuff actually, like other gambling sites, they have chat features and I'm glad Sportsbet added it.

It's been getting so busy there lately it's hard for me to catchup.

So many good things happening, also to add I won a freebet on their Arsenal/Southampton giveaway promo almost every week;)

EURO outright special going on today guys! I go for SPAIN 9.56 with Boost:) Netherlands special looks so tempting but I think I will keep to Spain.

Question: If I place outright on more than one team, can I get freebets for all the teams that win?
5244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again? on: May 24, 2021, 03:40:27 PM
It's better to dump the DOGE now until we can't time will come that whales will dump, it will easily drop below $0.1.
The price at the moment is $0.323 with 39% drop in the last 7 days, that is something bad, DOGE is struggling together with the other altcoins.
I've dumped all Dogecoin I hold before it dropped too much, and fortunately, I didn't lose too much on it. I think it's hard to pump dogecoin now as it's getting more issue because of Elon Musk.
Since bitcoin keeps getting down, many altcoins are being affected by it, and one of them is dogecoin. And I'm not sure, but I feel it will go down below $0.2

Well if you guys dump, I'll be very happy. I don't have any DOGE now except for the small amounts I do have in casino balances but if you want, please, welcome to sell. DOGE below 100 satoshi would be very welcome for me so I can start taking more of them into my wallet to keep my few lonely doges company;)

Strange yet exciting times for DOGE hodlers!
5245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a Chinese, talk about my views on the new policy on: May 24, 2021, 03:00:55 PM
I remember one post about Bitcoin which I really agree with and which a lot of people could do to see the different point of view. Bitcoin is not about taking your money out of your country, but about taking your country out of your money.

This is why countries like CHINA and USA can never live in harmony with Bitcoin.

With crypto, maybe. Some are okay to have some govt control. But not Bitcoin.
5246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 24, 2021, 01:59:19 PM
A German press report said today, Saturday, that there are developments related to the destination of the Dutch midfielder Jorginho Wijnaldum, next summer.

I've said it before and I still say it again. I don't think he's a good fit, just like Coutinho wasn't. I really wish we'd stop getting players who look impressive for Liverpool because our styles are so completely different. I love his style don't get me wrong but he needs high tempo players around him for it to work, which is why he did so well for Liverpool.

I mean, if he comes at least we won't be paying anything for him on the free transfer:P
5247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unaddressed Bitcoin FUD on: May 24, 2021, 01:11:40 PM
We can already see the answers to your questions actually just looking back at the past few years.

1. When governments ban trading, people go p2p and underground. See India and see China. People trade on whatsapp, on telegram even on yahoo messenger or wechat:)
2. Governments cannot even coordinate the war on money laundering, so forget crypto bans. They all want different things and understand crypto differently too!
3. BTC has succeeded as a global payment solution. Just look at this forum in economics section.
5248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 24, 2021, 11:55:09 AM
Superbru did not work at all for me the whole of yesterday for any pool. So I think we need to remind each other that picks should be entered way early especially on big days like final matchday. Not that I would benefit from changing anything of course just I was annoyed to not be able to check if I filled everything on all the pools:)

Congrats again everyone!
5249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MemeCoins becoming the new Shitcoins on: May 24, 2021, 11:23:29 AM
It's definitely gonna stay, any memecoin that got listed in popular exchange like binance or coinbase definitely gonna stay but the question is, will the demand still exist? Shiba didn't have their own mainnet and the swap defi they offered looks generic
while doge demand purely coming out of speculation driven by elon's opinion as well. I doubt these meme coin could reach the ATH again since reaching the previous ath already make many people goes broke, it's like gambling after all and an usustainable ones at that.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Binance and Coinbase are known to delist things. Coinbase took down XRP before remember and Binance has taken down hundreds of tokens after the ICO failures of 2017 so we know for sure being listed once doesn't guarantee a long life.

DOGE is safe, that's always there and was there before the hype but I won't be surprised to see SHIBA disappear.
5250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE VERY TRAGIC MOMENT IN FUTURES TRADE HAPPEN AGAIN. on: May 24, 2021, 11:04:34 AM
This is all good advice and most people know it, but the issue for me lies even further back than this. And this is in the expectation setting. Expectations are all completely wrong. They see it as money making and profit and stuff.

They can always seek knowledge (I actually doubt skill because you can't really learn to be proficient in trading, just in using trading tools) but if you don't solve the expectation issue they'll always get it wrong right from the start.
5251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: At what point do you stop buying the dip? on: May 24, 2021, 09:54:22 AM
Simple. At the point that you run out of funds that you can afford to lose.

Don't forget the simple basics, people. Invest only what you can afford to lose. Then that way you never regret if things don't work out. And you buy the dip with money you have extra on the side. Wait a couple years or 3 or 4, and then see it all come back up again;)
5252  Economy / Speculation / Re: MELTDOWN - if you don't sell now, YOU WILL LOSE MOST OF YOUR FUNDS!!! on: May 24, 2021, 09:20:46 AM
Good idea Grin

Wait, I will sell my bitcoin and buy back below $10k.

Might as well prepare all your "regret" threads for later then;) Bitcoin may dip below 10k but at this stage I find it highly unlikely and most charts (not that I believe in TA) will also agree here. Up to you of course, but is it really worth letting go of all your BTC when this is most likely the bottom?
5253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 24, 2021, 09:02:42 AM
Once in a million years the Athletico de Madrid wins a relevant title, and one every ten million years is La Liga. When that happens, all the sudden half of Madrid happens to be "Athleticos". I am 10 million years old so I can appreciate that this is not this year only. Shameful and at the same time funny. Anyway, congrats to those who bet with the hart at the beginning of La Liga, sweet surprise!

You made me laugh with this post, and I cannot say I'm such a big fan as am not even living in Spain let alone Barcelona, I guess spiritually we will never be a real part of the history of this teams but I salute all fans who stick to the city. Too bad I don't really come from a football country so there is no real local team to support.

Hang in there Madrid, and come back and fight us properly next season. We can't let Simeone defend this title successfully;)
5254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth 2.0 Impact on Eth on: May 23, 2021, 04:55:06 PM
Indeed, the problem so far is the high transaction costs as you say,
and I hope the transaction fee can go down soon and I think that's what everyone hopes,
but if in fact the transaction costs are still high I don't think people will be that easy to leave ethereum

Old problem. They used to say it about Bitcoin too and even many miners and companies left to socalled better coin like Bitcoin Cash. then when Segwit came around people who were complaining took so long to adopt it until today it's still barely 50% adopted anyway. So maybe in the end tx cost isn't everything?
5255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding 5 years a just a imagination on: May 23, 2021, 04:18:20 PM
It is true that we are seeing many altcoins going down at a very high rate even in a short time period. At this point, the most important thing to do is doing a very good research. Because there are really small amount of altcoins which can be trusted for HODLing.

Well when they were all going up at just as high a rate nobody was complaining, everyone was saying to the moon and to Mars and all that, very conveniently ignoring what a big bubble the altmarket (AND DEFI) was coming out to be also.

Hodling alts? The list did not change since 2017 in my opinion. Deficoins will all die.
5256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 23, 2021, 02:57:46 PM
I think that Messi is also happy about Suarez's performance there. Because they were close friends at Barcelona and I guess they still are. If Suarez was at Barcelona this season, then maybe they weren't going to be able to win the title. But he made it under Simeone's great management.

Happy? You bet after Suarez was talking to his family and done with all that he would be on the phone with his best friend Messi and talking all about it. They had lunch last weekend together anyway before this match and Messi for sure wished him to win with all his heart.

He said it also in the interview about everything and that this season was extremely tough for him and his family. This will be such a sweet victory.
5257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin should be afraid of tron on: May 23, 2021, 09:45:16 AM
To say tron will beat BTC is a bit exaggeration but yes no doubt tron is good option to many other blockchains.
So many people prefer trc20 usdt over ERC20 because of exhorbitantly high fee on ethereum network.
Tron need more exposure if it want to beat eth but it can never beat BTC.

A BIT? When Ethereum threatened Bitcoin in 2017 (or rather, when ETH people said that it would be a flippening) there was never a risk or a danger that it would happen and this was when ETH was being a very popular smart contract platform with loads going on on the network.

And then even now Vitalik says maybe in the future but he knows now is never the time.

TRON? Justin Sun's Koolaid must be so yummy.
5258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 23, 2021, 09:15:50 AM
@LTU I was JUST talking the same about David Villa early this morning over breakfast with some friends on phone:) It wasn't as bad as this I would say though, not as I remember, and definitely not to the same emotions as Suarez and especially because he was Messi's best friend in the team.

Congrats to all big daddy, tomahawk and of course casper, the true La Liga champion here:)
5259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Latest FUD from Elon Musk: Tesla Has Diamond Hands on: May 22, 2021, 05:25:16 PM
Expect that to happen, as there  are people who losses their savings after following him.

Not his fault though, but since he made his name into this industry the trust that he built creates him a huge influenced within this sphere.

Just the same, those mentioned named that being part of this market, they just disappeared and forgotten, crypto peps will always move forward especially those true believers and supporters.

Yeah, I'm not saying it's his fault, or at least, it wasn't at first. But by now he must really know his effect on people, given his increased activity on Twitter and seeing things like him appearing on Sat Night Live, we know now he also knows he's a popular guy and a popular influencer.

I'd blame him a little for not taking care more not to influence innocents to invest life savings into memecoins.

Of course not his fault but, he has to take some responsibilities.
5260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 22, 2021, 04:09:14 PM
^ ^  Messi will never leave unless he’s really wanted by Pep and if City had the money to pay for his wages.  But Pep already expressed his desire for Messi to stay at Barca and finish his career with his boyhood club like he did.

And it’s funny if City loses the CL final and Aguero wins it the next season with Barca.  Cheesy

It would be really really funny if City lose CL but not really funny if Aguero wins with Barca. They all parted on really nice terms and there is nothing "karma" about this (I hope he doesn't come to my club though I'm not a hater just he's not for us I feel).

Oh and funny was Coutinho coming to us to win, losing to Liverpool 0-4, and then winning it onloan with Bayern and us paying Liverpool 5 million bonus for that:)
