Unfortunately after receiving the answer from the first reply, the OP didn't post anything again Cheesy.
It has been answered already so I just hope that the OP will get online and lock the thread already Cheesy.
5262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: November 21, 2020, 02:12:13 AM
Most of the people states that gambling is form of entertainment but the reality is different gambling is like business where people look to make more money from investing little money but most of them will get failed.

So in your view gambling is business or entertainment, answer honestly. Cheesy
I think depending on our mood, it could be business or it could be entertainment or both. At first, we play for entertainment but after a few wins that will get our mood excited, we think we will make more money, it is business.
Correct me but in the part of the gambler, I don't see anything business related here. On the part of the owners yes but for the gambler.
Do you consider gambling as a business too then if you're the gambler??

As a responsible gambler, we must see gambling as a form of entertainment only and nothing more. You will just get disappointed if you see gambling as a way to get more money.
5263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: November 21, 2020, 02:09:03 AM
addictiion to gambling is a serious problem and sometimes people can't solve it and lose all their money. often help comes from friends and family but in some cases there is a need to use psychologist services.
I can't say that some but most of the gambling addiction cases need psychologist to get recovered.

The problem with us people especially these gamblers is that they are always finding for an easy way to get money and they don't think of the possible consequences that they might face whenever the worst will happen. You are lucky if some friends and family members will help you to recover but that isn't the case for most of them that is why they need the help of a psychologist to be rehabilitated.
5264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin be Trade at $318,000 by End of 2021? on: November 21, 2020, 02:02:29 AM
I like the optimism behind Citibank but that price is very optimistic although I'm not saying that this is impossible but the chances of it to happen is just close to zero.

In 2017, Bitcoin started from around $1000 in January to near $20,000 by the end of the year and that is around 2000% increase. Do they expect that this will happen again next year? Maybe? I don't think so. Too exaggerated prediction for me. What is happening now and in 2017 are significantly different already.
5265  Economy / Economics / Re: Effective Covid-19 vaccine found on: November 21, 2020, 01:58:31 AM
Any good news are also good for the market.
I still remember when there is this rumors of the new vaccine back months ago, the pharma stocks here in our country just went up massively on that day and it lasted for I think 2 days. Same happened as being shown in the chart.

I don't know TBH what will be the effect of this to the price of Bitcoin but if you will see the current price action of it, the price is slowly increasing and trying to reach the $19,000 price (currently at $18,853 at coingecko).

Now with regards on the news. It isn't yet approve as of today but with that effectiveness that they released, it will be released after few weeks possible or maybe next year at most.
5266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Are So Many Altcoins Worthless After a Little Time on: November 21, 2020, 01:51:26 AM
There are many reasons but these are some of them.

1. New projects or altcoins aren't really intended to fulfill its use that has been shared to the investors. It has been created just to scam those investors.

2. Pump and dump scheme - Many developers have done these or I should say that as the token has been listed on an exchange, developers and exchange owners will be the ones to sell the token causing the price to plummet immediately.

3. Lack of community/support - most of the token that are being created don't have any support from other investors and because of this, it is ending up being a dead coin.
5267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 20, 2020, 02:14:50 AM
Failure-To-Walk-Away: Gamblers spirit failure to walk away after win game, instead bet further with hope of more wins until the won money is finished. In 2009 survey findings by researchers from University of Stanford in California, found that around 92% of people who do casino gambling are addicted.
People are tend to have a trait that they aren't contented to what they have already and this is the reason why gamblers can't walk away after winning huge money in a casino.

Gamblers are getting addicted most of the time as they spend more time gambling and failure to go home after winning is causing them to lose their initial capital and their winnings. There are some who can control themselves for sure but this is the one of the reasons why casinos aren't going bankrupt at all Cheesy
5268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 20, 2020, 01:49:59 AM
~
People shouldn't bet with the money what they can't afford to loss. Borrowing money for betting is worst decision ever. Every gambler know these things but many of them still do it. Does this kind of news make you worried? Share your thought about this.
This is probably the worst thing that a gambler can do after losing a huge amount of money.
He gambled too much and lost too much that he can't bear his losses and he wants to be out of it so he just did commit suicide. His life in exchange for the debts he had.

I don't feel pity or anything towards the gambler because at first place, if he knows that he can't bear huge losses then it would be better if he just steps out of gambling rather than gambling more in order to recover his losses. I know that there are people around the world that are poor but gambling isn't the solution for it. There are many ways if they want to go out of being poor and gambling isn't one of them.
5269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: November 20, 2020, 01:45:19 AM
It is what it is but we cannot remove the fact that there are lucky gamblers. They gamble as if they want to win and luckily winning the jackpots.
In that case, they have recovered and won money too.

If they win it then lucky, they are else those who have lost in recovery will think back later why did they gambled again. Its worse for those who had borrowed money in a thought will win and lost it again will now may not have money to pay back too. So its luck which may help you to win or lose in the end for some games.
Those gamblers who borrows money are desperate but it's not a good move. Lose your money but don't lose others money even if you have borrowed it.
Several times I've read gamblers who have done that and lost a lot instead of recovery.
Unfortunately, there are many desperate gamblers in the world. So desperate that they will borrow money fro other people. So desperate that they will commit crimes just to have money to gamble.

Well, when a gambler did it for the first time and loss their money more chances are there will be a time that they will realize what they did and stop because being desperate in gambling most of the time ending up being a bust.
5270  Economy / Economics / Re: Mexico's billionaire invests in Bitcoin on: November 20, 2020, 01:38:10 AM
Liquid wealth = money that hasn't been invested into other assets so in short fiat money right? Correct me Smiley.

Either way, a billionaire investing into Bitcoin created a hype in the Bitcoin's price causing some of the investors to invest into it for sure. Rich people and various institutions are slowly investing into Bitcoin one by one so expect for more of them to come and invest.

Maybe we can see reaching new ATH by Christmas Cheesy. I would be happy to see that scenario happening.
5271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC market cap hits ATH on: November 20, 2020, 01:30:29 AM
For those who don't get what this means:

In December of 2017 when bitcoin was at it's all time highs at around $19700, the total circulating supply of Bitcoin was just around 16.7 million. Today as we speak, since mining brings more bitcoin to the market, the total circulating supply is around 18.5 million.

Hence, while the peak bitcoin price of 2017 was higher, since the total circulating supply was lower(16.7M), the market cap is also lower.

December 2017 ATH: $19,700 * 16.7 million = $328.9 billion
Today: $17,980 * 18.5 million = $332.6 billion
This is the reason why Market Cap hits its ATH.

The total supply of it now is higher compare to what it was in 2017 causing its Market Cap to go higher. This just shows that there are more money coming in into Bitcoin though I don't if most of these are smart money (coming from institutions) or dumb money (coming from investors who got hyped by the recent rise of Bitcoin). Either way, it is beneficial for the holders Cheesy.
5272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why can't the current Ethereum price keep up with the Bitcoin price? on: November 20, 2020, 01:27:37 AM
~
2 possible reasons that I see with this.

1. Supply and Demand - We know that Ethereum hasn't any supply limit unlike Bitcoin. The supply of Ethereum at 2017 is obviously lower than what it is right now and add the fact that ICO hype has been there at the same year. The demand for Ethereum at that time is increasing because of the ICO's that are being created in the Ethereum Blockchain causing its price to rise.

2. Investors prefer to invest into Bitcoin rather than Ethereum - I think this is obvious already. People rather invest into Bitcoin because they see it more profitable compare to Ethereum.
5273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Portfolio before and after the pandemic on: November 19, 2020, 01:49:22 AM
~
Rising and still rising little by little.

At the middle of the pandemic, I'm busy accumulating more Bitcoins and holding it because I'm very bullish on it. Bitcoin is very generous at that time since it give us another chance to buy Bitcoins at a lower price. Those who panicked and sold their tokens are feeling regret right now because their sold their Bitcoins and other coins.
5274  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bullrun and correction period on: November 19, 2020, 01:42:18 AM
Bitcoin has been so bullish from last couple of week and this is exactly how 2017 bullrun started and as we discuss this Bitcoin has already crossed $17k, so are we ready for bullrun and a possible correction period post Bullrun?

Last time we were not ready for correction period as a result many sold bitcoin lesser price our of panic which creates more negative impact, will it be different and mature response from users this time if similar thing repeats? Kindly share your opinions.
I just watched a video on Youtube yesterday and this scenario is very different from what it was last 2017.
When Bitcoin is surging in 2017, there are many Bitcoin holders who are transferring their Bitcoins in an exchange so that they will be ready to sell it. Right now, people aren't doing that way but instead they are just holding it since many are hoping that it will break its recent ATH of near $20,000.

We already saw what happened last 2017 and 2018 so I think most of the investors who have experienced it are ready now for the bull run and at the same time the huge correction that "MAY" happen in the future.
5275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another billionaire just invested in bitcoin on: November 19, 2020, 01:34:23 AM
With Bitcoin gaining traction in the internet.
With Bitcoin being talked by too many people around the world.
With Bitcoin rising up as of now.
With Bitcoin being popular on Youtube right now because many content creators are speaking about its recent move.

I believe that there are more rich people who will invest into Bitcoin. They are coming one by one and in the future, more will come. Bitcoin is dead? Bitcoin will go to zero? F*ck them all.
5276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPals Bitcoin is a scam on: November 19, 2020, 01:31:23 AM
A good way to advertise your video though Smiley. Posting things like this just to have some views on your Youtube channel. Nice Clickbait.

And please don't think that scam is the same as bad service or anything bad. Yes you can't do anything when you buy Bitcoin in Paypal but it doesn't mean that it is considered a scam already. Also think that it has been added just a month ago I think or two so possible that they will add some features that are related to Bitcoin in the future.

Scam? Do more research though and good luck in your channel Tongue.
5277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 19, 2020, 01:28:26 AM
Not all gamblers faced the situation like loosing all the time. If you are clearly deal the gambling on betting and ideal games, you may win more than loosing funds. Sometimes you may get attracted slot roll or lucky spin kind of games, mostly these games users are finding loss more than other way gamblers.
Probably there are a few gamblers who are winning more than losing but in general, a huge portion of them are losing money way more than they are winning.

Losing is unavoidable in gambling. You may win this time but not today. The problem lies in the gambler themselves because they aren't ready enough to gamble. You can avoid losing in gambling though by not gambling at all Cheesy.
5278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Gang uses crypto for illegal purposes on: November 19, 2020, 01:21:14 AM
Using crypto to illegally gamble is not actually new, and we have already seen similar news like this. Crypto is used in unlawful activities that give a bad image to it.  China can be strict when it comes to this thing but I don't think that online casinos should be accountable when some Chinese people still choose to gamble on their site when they know it's illegal in their country. They will keep on finding ways to gamble, and it's not the casino's fault if their people choose to violate their law.
Illegal gambling cannot be stopped is it true because there are so many websites where you don't even have to give any identity verification no matter how big you gamble and win. There are certain countries where sports betting is banned and guys from there are comfortable playing on crypto casinos.

I don't know why even countries ban gambling when they know people will find ways of doing that, in fact if they legalize gambling they will earn good tax revenue from them which they are not earning by banning gambling.
I agree that their government would earn more if they legalize gambling. And AFAIK there's a lot of Chinese who gamble so, they even go outside their country to gamble. What more now that there's a lot of emerging online casinos that don't even require KYC and Chinese gamblers can still find ways to access gambling sites. So what's the point of prohibiting them when they will keep finding ways to gamble if they want to.
I'm thinking that the government are just banning gambling for the sake of their countrymen.
The negative side of gambling that it can give to the people is far more worst than the positive side of it can give but although there are some countries who are banning it, I agree that the gamblers tend to find another ways to gamble and online gambling is one of them.
Chinese people are fond of gambling and with online casinos emerging one by one online, for sure more Chinese people will gamble.

With regards to crypto being used in bad activities, it is already expected and even fiat had been used too in illegal activities so is this isn't uncommon already.
5279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers forced into unpaid leave on: November 19, 2020, 01:10:25 AM
You worked long in the casino or you worked for a short amount of time, it doesn't matter as of this moment so what is the weird thing about that?? What do you expect?? Those who worked for them for a longer time will stay and those who worked shorter will leave?

We saw already the effect of the virus in all of the industries and casinos are one of the most hit ones since there are no gamblers who are willing to gamble therefore their revenues go down.

Feel sad for the employees but if they just know how to manage their money properly, they will not suffer on this pandemic.
5280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 18, 2020, 02:41:17 AM
Of course. This is true or else there won't be any single casino standing at this point in time anymore. But the opposite is happening. Casinos are not just multiplying fast, they are also growing from houses to gigantic structures all around the world. This is one hard proof that gamblers are losing money more than winning. It is only either that or no more casinos. Again, casinos are increasing in numbers.
gambling will always be a profitable business...
out of 100 gamblers maybe only 10 or 15 wins, the rest, of course, lose. but the gambling business has created employment and income for the state which welcomes casinos. gambling will not disappear, in the future, it will increasingly evolve by utilizing new technology.

No problem with casinos providing employment for thousands of people, paying taxes, etc. They can afford that because they are making a lot of money in their business. That simply means they are earning out of this.

The problem is when people enter the casino thinking that they will make it their milking cow or that they will come out from it with profit. That is a myth.
Unfortunately this is how gamblers think when they go into a casino. I don't know how to say this but people are always thinking only the positive side of everything and they aren't thinking of the negative effects of them that is why when they felt negative, they aren't ready and making impulsive decisions in the end.

Employment and taxes are probably the best things that casinos can do for the country but the negative side of it is that, there are many people losing money every day because of gambling.
