5261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are underutilizing Bitcoin on: December 23, 2019, 10:34:11 PM
I think we need to circulate the Bitcoin. If you want Bitcoin to be more healthy and active, somehow we need to circulate it through merchants who offer services or products that need bitcoins as payments. That is the true essence of Bitcoin's existence. To be an alternative medium of payment in every transaction.
I agree and this is what bitcoin was intended to be but there's no wrong in holding your bitcoin, it's the same as those people who invested their money into specific currency and hold it. If person want to spend it somewhere else then free to do so but they are not at fault for holding it more specifically most of people who hold bitcoin are finding profit nowadays.
5262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Can I pay in Bitcoin here?" - go and ask this each time you pay something! on: December 23, 2019, 03:59:49 PM
In my city everywhere I only get the answer-No.
exactly the answer what im seeking, there are places of ignorant people that will straight up saying NO and being ignorant to what they don't know and this method simply won't work. But, its still useful ton raise awareness of people regarding bitcoin and potentially increase bitcoin adoption if we talked that way to a company or services that are in the field of technology.
5263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Outclasses Other Cryptocurrencies as an Investment Option, Here’s Why on: December 22, 2019, 11:13:21 PM
I agree with you. Since only Bitcoin can prove that it is the safest crypto investment, it makes sense for people to focus on Bitcoin. Everyone must know that altcoin season seems still far away, while Bitcoin probably to have a good season in 2020 or 2021. So, they prepare themselves for this, while trading weekly to get faster income. Then, they leave altcoins that have too complicated problems.
Though the volatility sometimes isn't that "safe" but the market capital of bitcoin gives us sense of security by providing enormous liquidity therefore we can cash it out anytime when we need and it's really different if you compare with alts that are relatively low in liquidity that could hinder us from cashing out our money and therefore could potentially lost our money.
5264  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: December 22, 2019, 04:58:08 PM
the government can only track taxes from centralized exchanges and system that makes users must comply, can only target those involved in jurisdiction. They cannot intervene further towards coins which remain active in privacy outside the exchange, unless they have many criminal cases to use as evidence. There is still a lot of decentralization that will run normally, the government's goal can only be to reduce the expansion of activities outside of tax control simultaneously.
Not really, the government once figures out our address where we save up our crypto in the past or present that could pretty much track where it's going considering that most of popular address provided by exchange haveg some kind of name label, if the government want to put additional effort they could leak everything out of it.
5265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so few women buying into Bitcoin? on: December 22, 2019, 05:22:56 AM
Women are not only less likely to buy Bitcoin but less involved in Bitcoin. Because they do not dare to invest a large amount of money without knowing when they can recover it. Women want to choose safety over money. They don't want to gamble and win. I think that's why women are less involved in the digital currency market.
maybe that's by nature but I don't think all women will think the same way because women are now having equal education like men and I think that could change their mindset to step forward and becoming as brave as men. not very few I've seen woman who takes big risk and win it. There are so many stories about this in the internet nowadays.
5266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teen crook hacked into 75 phones and stole $1M in cryptocurrency: authorities on: December 21, 2019, 09:21:11 AM
with a sentence of 5-10 years can destroy their mentality, and I think after they are free they will do good because the prison also makes a goal so that people can return to doing good in social life after they are free and I think quite comparable because they also definitely pay a fine.
A sneak will always be a sneak even after after shedding its skin so being prisoned doesn't guarantee that they will do a good deeds in the future but it's for sure could make people think twice before doing wicked things and it's a good thing that these people being prisoned god knows what they'll do with the money and probably for something useless or even illegal.
5267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong granted patent for sending BTC thru email on: December 21, 2019, 08:45:05 AM
if a bitcoin transaction using a username might be a lot cooler too, I might be able to think positively in this way the transaction would seem to be great if some coinabse users often make small amounts of transactions using bitcoin, so it doesn't pile up on the bitcoin transaction network, but I say before this it still didn't look great if it was done only for coinbase users
that doesn't seem to be possible though considering how address being generated for the frivolous thing and if it's to be changed with username we'll struggle picking the username and then forced to use random number behind username which is basically the same complexity as when we're using the already existed random address.but inside a centralized system like exchange that might be possible and it's probably just a piece of cake to do that.
5268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any such thing as true data protection on: December 21, 2019, 08:00:13 AM
True data protection is just marketing language if there's any company out there offering such services. You don't know what the insiders there doing and it's such a norm to see that centralized services hand out data to government when being requested because the company is owned by the individual that I could assume is not immune to law and punishment. even you won't know what kind of backdoor get installed to your computer or if there's any.
5269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After 50% hike in Two weeks, Matic dropped 70% in Minutes on: December 21, 2019, 07:30:55 AM
Matic is doing bad things actually, huge manipulation they are doing now. I sold out my all coins and moved on Burn and One. 70% drops in a couple of minutes indicate a huge loss for the investors. Mid core investors are affecting for such manipulation where whales are filling their bags. I never thought Matic would be such a pump dump coin.
It's always worrying that a coin which deemed to have promising future and somehow "backed" by popular exchange like binance could turn really bad though it's slowly regaining the price back up after the fuss and rumours but it's really hurting the reputation for a long term and I doubt that the coin could reach its ATH ever again despite the fact that everything could happen in the world of cryptos.
5270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hong Kong Police Freeze $10M Fund for Protesters - Bitcoin Becomes Attractive on: December 19, 2019, 10:36:40 PM
I wonder how people could face the internet shutdown if they really want to use bitcoin for temporary safehaven because the government will surely taking an action to prevent such thing from happening and to note that the exchanges there might be controlled by the government so the hongkong citizens will be having a hard time cashing out once they need the money except selling it overseas.
5271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Altcoins not Growing These Days on: December 19, 2019, 02:24:19 PM
Altcoin not growing these day because bitcoin keep with lower price and allowed how bitcoin going on, looking altcoin have higher price we have wait when bitcoin back with higher price, if bitcoin keep with lower price we have patience waiting for altcoin back to higher price, right now maybe moment for us waiting for bitcoin and altcoin without hurry for investing in crypto.
If that's the case I think altcoin too heavily dependant on bitcoin and if the price trend always follow bitcoin why dont people invest to bitcoin instead since its a lot more secure because of the huge capital, I think if altcoin keep on following bitcoin it will just stuck at where it is and not going to improve. some alts that truly progress even could have bullish market despite bitcoin having downtrend, that's what I mean with not too dependant.
5272  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we heading towards Recession? on: December 19, 2019, 05:08:04 AM
even if we head to recession what can we do? people just got affected by the atmosphere created by the media about the upcoming yet nonexistent recession and to be affected like that is normal people always learn from the past but the recession is still far away in my opinion and if there's safe haven it will be a food stock and not bitcoin and not dollar. i also prepare for any monetary crisis or recession by not spending to much, atleast that's what i can do.
5273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really still decentralized?? on: December 19, 2019, 04:05:31 AM

At first I don't want to believe the market manipulations, but what's happening nowadays proved it already. That was being played by biggest investors who had a huge capitals, they can manipulate using their powers and connection. FUD was arising while bitcoin tried to recover, and the market transparency has not begun to show it's unpredictable trend which has been dominated seriously. Decentralized bitcoin was still there, and for its kind it has more potential to initiate more spikes and bounce.
Even gold can be manipulated despite having huge market capitalization therefore it's a no brainer that manipulation could happen to significanly lower market cap like bitcoin and it's just a piece of cake. What become our concern right now is the centralized mining power, but I'm sure the mechanism of bitcoin's blockchain could handle this problem very well just let the time prove it.
5274  Economy / Speculation / Re: Two Years Ago, Bitcoin Was Over $19,000 — What Happened? on: December 19, 2019, 01:47:00 AM
You can't expect the market to always peak and at that time everything is overvalued. So many shitcoin have the high price it doesn't deserve as a result bitcoin got affected and then emerge the negative stigma of bitcoin among people with the bearish market that unfortunately drive down the price so hard. Right now the market is being stable, though it's always in my favour if it could repeat the history again and somehow could keep up or even better improving the prices.
5275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is very bad for the European crypto community! on: December 18, 2019, 08:39:15 AM
It's just inevitable. Government want to prevent money laundering which means they want to increase tax income but also people want full decentralization over cryptocurrency. In the other hand if there's no such regulation the criminials will take advantage of cryptocurrency by laundering money, even hackers could easily cash out the stolen fund without being prevented by KYC. It's just this anti money laundering thing seem worth it with all its disadvantages and advantages.
5276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright: "BTC is not Bitcoin" on: December 18, 2019, 07:27:15 AM
Just ignore him, there's just no point of making this person popular because what he's saying so far is just nonsense and I even start to think that he's pretending to be dumb just for the attention.
There are wise saying that if lies are said repeatedly it will make people believe that's true but man this BS of him is just nonsense and it doesn't matter whether you said it for billions of time people just wouldn't believe him.
5277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How 18-year old boy became Millionare from Bitcoin on: December 18, 2019, 07:01:29 AM
I really admire the young Eric Finman who became a bitcoin millionaire. He is just a 16 year old student who already has a deep understanding of the digital market. Not everyone succeeds in this area even though they are economically strong. I hope to meet Eric to learn from experience.
it all comes down to the initative of this young man, imagine if it's other kids that got the money they would've spend out to something that's useless like gaming which is a total waste of time.
He's also making a company and the recent news I heard it's about learning site and sold it to a big company for big money aswell. I hope It could motivate people to achieve that feat in the future so it'll create more enterpreneur.
5278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Projects that failed to keep their promise in 2019 on: December 18, 2019, 04:12:17 AM
There are even lots of worse projects than these. Lots of bounty hunters were ended up unpaid this year after exerting too much effort for different ICO's and IEO's which is really disappointing. We only have to get rid of these kinds of projects and do more research so we'll never get scammed again. Let's just be wiser than these kinds of scam projects.
There are some project that indeed delivered the reward but it's just as good as nothing because the crypto simply have no value at all though can't blame the developers but if they are raising huge chunk of money through ICO or IEO then they deserve to take the blame. Project usually can be deemed failed even if they got out the way of the promised roadmap.
5279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistakes developers keeps making on: November 08, 2019, 10:39:42 PM
yes, some of the points you stated are true and real. I will only respond to the third point that bad exchanges or shady exchanges. if the project is truly valid and the team is serious in developing its products they will not register their tokens in shady exchanges, on the one hand traders will not want to use coins that do not have increased trading volumes.
What about the million dollars as a fees that already implemented in some major exchange sites? It's a big problem for the new platform to paid million dollars worth of money. Some coins were having fully working product can't even listed its token to the big exchange site caused by this problem. More money and highest priority.
This is a difficult situation when some things are getting contradicted one to each other.
5280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Few Bold bounty hunters still walks among us on: November 08, 2019, 10:36:13 PM
Folks are holding not necessarily because they are sure that they will make the expected returns . In Crypto there are no guarantees . It can go either way. It might bring some returns or some losses.
Right, they have expected big gains in the future from their coin and that's why they are holding it even the price goes to to the zero. I have even seen some people said that they will always keep their coin until they die. They were thinking if any project will become the big projects in the future.
Also an instant big loss is possible in cryptocurrency.
Those hunters must have started to change their mind about any coin should be holding for long term.
