5261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ETH] I was scammed on Youtube. What to do? on: February 05, 2020, 04:31:31 AM
There's a possibility that it will launch a new channel again with the same format because many people are so greedy not to as first the community and wants to always become the first one, they have become a part of the people that have been scammed.
Yes they will, it's clear they always get one or two gullible people to fall for their schemes, at least before the video is put down or the post reported and deleted, depends on which method they chose to operate with. People just get too excited and fascinating about giveaways this days, and the scammers know this and they seem to be operating more with this method of late now. Maybe when people stop letting their avarice get the better of them, then they will be able to take a deep breath and think before sending 1 eth to get 10 more eths, and imo no user on this forum should fall for this anymore, the awareness on them due to threads like this should be an "eye opener"
5262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 05, 2020, 03:27:21 AM
Just heard Juve wants Van Dijk from Liverpool this summer.  But it's hard to take that seriously knowing that they want Pogba too for big money.
If Liverpool are going to sell Van Djik, then the team wishing to buy him should be ready to bring over five hundred million pounds Grin, I think that's the only sort of amount that they'll pay attention to. With how good Van Djik has been since he came to Liverpool and how good Liverpool have been since then, I don't see him leaving any time soon, neither do i see any team affording him, except they are ready to pay something crazy.

Did Chelsea sign anyone? I thought they were going to be really busy with signings this January.
5263  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull and bear market. on: February 05, 2020, 02:52:41 AM
It's possible to make profits and also lose out in any of the two periods in the market, the bull market is what every trader wants, but the market is not always bullish, so it's up to you to learn how to make profits in a bear market, since it's very possible to do so too. As a trader you cannot keep waiting for either of the two periods in which you feel you are likely to make more money, you must be able to utilize the both of them to your advantage, and the only way to do so is to learn how to trade in both a bull or bear market.
5264  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [PSA] Fake Trezor wallet website on: February 05, 2020, 02:05:11 AM
Unfortunately, war with phishing scam websites is never ending. If we manage to close one website, 10 new websites appears then.
As long as we continue to use the internet, then we should expect to be targeted by various types of phishing, malware, fake giveaways and all the rest of them, there is no perfect end to them.

But they mostly take the same pattern, so reporting one is like reporting ten others, those who are observant would learn from one exposed scam attempt, and know when other scammers are trying to do the same thing.
5265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Bitcoin: Internet’s Native Money or Asset for Speculation? on: February 04, 2020, 10:10:03 PM
There are a lot of people who dont care what the G7 and other mainstream
financial institutions think and say about Bitcoin.
And I'll be truthful to say I'm one of them, I can choose to use bitcoin the way I want, every user and even those who question what exactly it is can do the same too. I hodl bitcoins, I buy and just store them in my wallets, I try not to touch it for any reason. Months ago I started daytrading, so I use bitcoin also for that purpose as well.  I bought the wristwatch currently on my wrist right now using bitcoin as the means of payment for it's purchase, and many more other purposes, so what exactly is bitcoin to me.
5266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 04, 2020, 09:54:36 PM
They have one of the best managers out there and they won't just part ways with a proven Champions League veteran to their competition.
His pedigree in the Champions League is one of the main reasons why city bought him and maybe another reason why he'll still be in the job for while, but then that makes his UCL chase a priority, he can't continue to fail in that competition, and things aren't easy this season with Madrid waiting in a fortnight.
City are reluctant to splash the cash until the summer, but i see Pep, calling it a quit and another sabbatical when the season ends. I hope he proves otherwise though.
City is a team garnished with arrays of talents in every position, they just had too many injuries this season, and with the amount they usually spend on transfers, you do not expect the manager to call for players anytime a transfer window(such as that in January)opens. Pep wouldn't be calling it quit with city, I think I read somewhere some weeks back that he'll be in the job as long as city do not fire him.
5267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 04, 2020, 07:42:14 PM
If there were mistakes like yesterday again it might be a dismissal for Pep,
I don't think pep can be fired this season, no matter where city ends up in the EPL table, his performances with city in the last two EPL seasons when they were champions twice in a row should grant him that immunity. And I also don't think city will go totally trophyless, they are already in the carabao cup final against Aston Villa, still also in the fa cup and UCL, so there could be some consolation and maybe even more.
5268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The profitability and effort put into different ways of earning bitcoin on: February 04, 2020, 04:01:05 PM
Blogging takes way more effort than a signature campaign, you need to constantly come up with a new content, while for sign campaigns you can give your thoughts on other people's topics. Much easier in my opinion.
Blogging and signature campaigns are both good ways of earning, for me there is no one that is far so much better than the other, not everyone can run a blog, search for information and post and update quality contents consistently.

Signature campaigns is easier for some people to do, I don't mean the spammers who just write useless contents. Some people have become accustomed with the forum that it's no longer an issue for them to make posts, for this category of people, they'll choose signature campaigns ahead of blogging. Forget about the earnings or the proceeds that can be earned, it's up to people to choose which would be good, easier for them and that which they will not have problems doing well.
5269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin (BTC) Treasure Hunt Launches on Minecraft on: February 04, 2020, 01:45:27 PM
This will make Minecraft more interesting among bitcoin enthusiasts who love the game. And as many that do not know about bitcoin, but play the game, this will also be an opportunity for them to use bitcoin and maybe it could arouse their interest do more things with the bitcoin other than playing the game.

I don't play Minecraft, but this news will make me try out satoshiquest on it, as long as its safe to do so.
5270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: February 04, 2020, 01:18:37 PM
Real is in a better situation than Barcelona, and this is because Ronaldo has left Real and Messi hasn't.
Real is trying to build a fresh team based on new young talents. On the other hand, Barcelona is going to over-go a strong crisis by the time Messi resigns or leaves to another club.
Real are not top because Ronaldo is not with them anymore, Infact Real have been struggling ever since Ronaldo left the team, but they are recovering little by little. Barcelona still have their great man Messi, but they have been having managerial issues of late, Valverde not delivering as well as not being the fans favorite, coupled with him being fired, it may take them a while to recover from that. That's why I feel Real may just win the title this season.

If Messi leaves Barcelona, it's going to be a big loss, I don't think they can ever replace him, but he cannot play forever and Barcelona are surely aware of that, so I'm sure they'll have a plan B after Messi leaves.
5271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: February 03, 2020, 07:59:31 PM
Oh my goodness made, I went through this article and I am just speechless. I was wondering like what if I could have did the same...
The sense in the article isn't really about investing exactly $1 everyday, it is just used to explain how good and profitable it is to invest in bitcoin and also how positive it has been in the long term. You should invest what you can afford to lose for sure, something surely above $1 is in line with that, so you'll be able to build a standard portfolio quicker.

I am a student and it's not so easy having the spare money to invest in bitcoin, but I am certain of the good returns possible so I try to invest with 5-10% of what I can save per month.
5272  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BitPay KYC/AML for $150k transaction on: February 03, 2020, 05:12:43 PM
Is the transaction worth $150k as you wrote in the title of your thread, if that's the amount involved in the transaction then you'll have to provide documents for KYC verification. If you do not want to do this, then you can suggest using an escrow service and sending straight into the sellers btc wallet

Just to avoid any mix up and elongated issues in this transaction, you need to make up your mind on what you think will be safer and easier for you, you can also forego the transaction if the seller insists on this sending process, or you can change the means of payment from bitcoin to fiat since you said you both are based in the US.
5273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [Advices needed] Best learning materials and trading method for beginners. on: February 03, 2020, 07:04:58 AM
I'm truly a beginner and eager to learn the trade. I'm giving me a month or two to setup everything up properly, study and practice with a very low amount.
I like to call myself a beginner, even if I've been trading for sometime now, the truth is I do not regard anyone as an expert, and as a beginner you should not, if you start to believe in experts, you will make decisions on what they post or on their strategies and it will affect your growth and learning. Just take your time, a month, two, three and even more is not even enough to learn all you need to know, so try and not rush it.
5274  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Turning 0.005 BTC to 1 BTC? Trading Journal | Currently 20% profit in 3 days on: February 03, 2020, 06:38:08 AM
To be honest, I don't want to disappoint you but  it is impossible to achieve this goal...
Since OP will be updating us in this thread on how the trading is going with him, then let us just wait and see how much profit he can get. He has got off to a good start, but some times one can start off perfectly and end up badly, so OP shouldn't get ahead of himself, he must still concentrate on doing what he has been doing.
Positive attitude is good and can be helpful but trading can't be based on that.
When I started trading for the first time, I thought that positivity and belief usually has an effect on how good everything would end up, it's good to be optimistic, but it's also good to know that it doesn't matter in the real sense of it all.
5275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 02, 2020, 09:56:53 PM
Lukaku just scored 2 goals in 6 minutes.
Lukaku is still dragging inter Milan in the competition for the title, he should be one of the best signings in the Seria A this season and the fact that only immobile and Ronaldo has scored more than him in the league speaks of how prolific he's been this season.
Juventus 54
Inter 51
The tighter it is up the table, the better and the more interesting, other times at this stage juve would have all but wrapped up the title, it's good news inter are still keeping them busy and on their toes.
5276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has the price of Altcoin stopped in one place? on: February 02, 2020, 05:24:33 PM
There is no coin called altcoin, it's not like the bitcoin that stands for just one coin/cryptocurrency alone, so you cannot in a broad sense just claim that the price of altcoin "has stopped in one place".

It does not make any sense in my honest opinion, if you have any fact, news, information or review about any altcoin you feel has become stagnant, be specific about the coin and the discussion will make more sense.
5277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 02, 2020, 03:12:02 PM
^  It's Mou...  He'll give Pep a match Pep doesn't wants to play.
Let me guess, Mou will set his team out to defend deep, park the bus, soak pressure and hit on the counter attack. If Mourinho chooses that tactics, it may be counter productive for his team. City have what it takes to break even the tightest of defense and we've seen it times without number when teams sit back against peps teams and end up conceding 2 goals and more, City will dominate and win this game comfortably imo.
While Spurs only rely on Keane so I don't think they will dominate the victory tonight.
Harry Kane has been injured for a while now, and spurs have been coping without him(not too fine though). Mou always have a tweak or two to do in this big games, throwing Tanganga into the game against Liverpool was one, let's see what he does today.
5278  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Top 10 Books Recommended by Crypto Thought Leaders on: February 02, 2020, 10:18:11 AM
Some of the books in your list do not relate to cryptocurrency or it's investment strategy or formula. For example Charles Darwin's Origin of species based on natural selection doesn't have anything to do with cryptocurrency, as far as I know this books sought to challenge the belief that man was created by God, but by evolution(survival of the fittest). In clear terms it's a: Religion Vs Science book.

This aren't the best bitcoin or cryptocurrency books, you haven't mentioned books that teach much on that subject.
5279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Video Game Company Supports Cryptocurrency on: February 02, 2020, 09:27:23 AM
very lucky if Ubisoft is working with the blockchain project, I'm curious about who Ubisoft partnering with,
I also doubt I think I saw that in the OP, it's important to know which cryptocurrency Ubisoft will be working with, if it's an altcoin or bitcoin. If it's bitcoin then it's better for Ubisoft, bitcoin is the most popular and it will allure/entice more customers for them, I'm very sure they'll have more bitcoiners as customers than altcoiners.

But even if they will be partnering with an altcoin, it is also not a wrong move, there are good altcoins in the market and this year has been good for them, so if ubisoft will be working with one of them, then it is a good business.
5280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How diversified are you in Altcoins in Q1 2020? on: February 01, 2020, 07:33:33 PM
No offense intended to the altcoin investors, but my portfolio is about 0-5% altcoins at the beginning of 2020, I've had to put all my capital meant for cryptocurrency into bitcoin investments as new altcoin projects fail incessantly and investors see their capital burn.

I do not intend to totally cast aside altcoins investments, the 5% i have are in the top altcoins and I'll buy very little more this year, just incase altcoins doing well in this year, as for new altcoins, till something good starts to come out of them, I'll not go close.
