5261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your average bet per game? on: June 14, 2016, 02:41:03 PM
Do you bet big like 1 BTC in hope to win 50 BTC with a huge risk or do you do small bets?

Bet big to win big? Or bet small over a long time to be safer?

people usually make big bets if they have a big pocket or a small brain. and because i have neither of those and also because i love my money so much that i don't want to waste it , so i only make small bets and don't have delusional hope of getting rich with gambling.
5262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins is moving around 600$+ Now on: June 14, 2016, 02:36:55 PM
the price has starting moving and from what i have seen so far there is nothing that can stop this rise so far, and it will continue this path for the forseeable future.
also it seems like the new stable bitcoin price is $680+ and even though there was a little backtrack now it is all good again.
5263  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Bitcoin transfer stuck on 'unconfirmed' - low mining fee? on: June 14, 2016, 01:12:53 PM
Yeah you used too low a fee. Should be using .0005 routinely now. Check the tx id on blockchain.info and give it a day should confirm. Remember to use a higher fee next time.

two things are missing in this comment.
first you have to remember that the amount of fee is a suggestion and it is calculated per size of transaction meaning bigger transaction (more inputs not the amount you are sending) requires higher fees
https://bitcoinfees.21.co/

and also currently 10000(~13000) satoshi is good enough to be considered high priority still
5264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a good time to buy bitcoin now? on: June 14, 2016, 01:02:25 PM
it is always a good time to buy bitcoin if you want to use bitcoin. for example if you want to use it as a currency and benefit from using it like the lower fees, the anonymity, the fast transaction, the decentralization,... and if you like to use services like gyft to enjoy the high discounts you can get that way. then it is always a good time to buy bitcoin and start using it instead of fiat!
5265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Confirmations are getting faster ? on: June 14, 2016, 12:58:05 PM
Is it me (just luck) or the confirmations are really getting faster ? last time I got transaction confirmed in eight minutes and now in 2 minutes only while I was getting them in like 15-20 minutes.

you have to make more transactions bro Smiley
on my confirmation times i get all kinds of times, i even had an immediate confirmation once (it tool a couple of seconds to confirm) and also i had two hour confirmation (back in spam attacks).
this is just luck to get into a block or not and depends on the number of currency unconfirmed transactions too.
5266  Economy / Speculation / Re: What I think the Halving could bring on: June 14, 2016, 12:54:15 PM
I believe that only one of 2 things will happen after the halving

A (The Most Predictable)
The price will double up to 900$ a coin and mining will resume to be as profitable as ever; things basically stay the same except with bitcoin being 900$ a coin it's the same profits for miners.

mining bitcoin was profitable so far even when price was lower than <$400 and now it is still profitable and will continue being profitable.
you don't have to worry about miners when you are not one of them.

and unless you don't have reference for what you say about profitability of mining you shouldn't make assumptions.

Quote
B (My Favorite)
Bitcoin's price consequently will crash due to massive selling once reaching a certain point of profit say 800$; this massive drop in price will cause miners to stop mining due to it no longer being profitable. Due to the lack of mining over a month or so difficulty will drop down to the tens of thousands, once again inspiring miners to mine and rebuilding the bitcoin economy back bringing a much slower steady rise to bitcoin up to a price which is okay between miners and consumers (Maybe 700-800). Just my guess; put your thoughts below!

many like you believed bitcoin will crash when it reaches $1000+ a couple of years ago when this happened. this crash took this long to take place.and this so called crash was only because there was a bubble.
and today if there is a crash the bottom will be $500 at least.

and again unless you don't have reference for what you say about profitability of mining you shouldn't make assumptions about miners and whether or not they are going to continue.
5267  Economy / Speculation / Re: Quick Survey: When will you Sell your Bitcoin? on: June 14, 2016, 12:48:19 PM
i am not going to sell bitcoin as long as i don't need the money and i mean only serious need like an emergency. other than that i will continue holding bitcoin until the mass adoption day and a price that is real high and something around the real value of bitcoin. $700-$1000 is just temporary prices here to pass.
5268  Economy / Speculation / Re: ;D ;D ;D ;D⚐ BTC Will Rise Upto 1000 Euro Per Bitcoin - Let It RAIN! on: June 14, 2016, 12:45:23 PM
we all are predicting the price going to the moon and we all have been preparing ourselves one way or another. no offense but making a post with saying it is going to he moon because "i predict it" is the same crap we see everyday saying bitcoin is doomed because "i predict it".
you gotta add some real speculation and reasoning for it.
5269  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Apart from earning BTC, What is BTC upto? on: June 14, 2016, 12:36:48 PM
bitcoin is money, but the difference is that bitcoin offers so much more than what fiat is offering. when you start using bitcoin you'll understand what i mean.
and also as an investment it already showed that it can be a very profitable investment.
5270  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: June 13, 2016, 12:28:09 PM
Hello All,

What you think is the best investment to gain steady income in btc without actively doing anything?
So no trading/gambling/loaning etc.

Steady income more likely to be 'small & secure' than 'big & risky'.

Thanks,
BR Oinas

i am afraid you are looking for something that doesn't exist. from your comments it looks like you are looking for someplace that you just give your bitcoin to and they pay you profit while you sit back and enjoy. nothing like that exist. and all those sites claiming it are scams.

you gotta do what you are already doing, trading and holding and etc that is the steady income you are looking for and don't get greedy because that is when you start losing money.
5271  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If prices crash after halving, what would you do? on: June 13, 2016, 12:24:02 PM
Everyone's excited for the halving event happening around July. Everyone's saving hoping that the price will skyrocket after it.

But what if prices crash down instead? what would you do?

what do you call crash?
it can be coming down after entering a big bubble or it can be something else?
in case that we see a price bubble there will be a crash afterwards but it is not going to happen overnight and it is not going to be as big as the rise. and even if that happens bitcoin is still bitcoin and you can still continue using it as you were using it before (if you were using it and not just hoarding for a get rich quick scheme.)
5272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I should do , if gambling in my country illegal? on: June 13, 2016, 12:12:22 PM
Law enforcers have better things to do I promise you. You worrying for no reason. Just relax friend Smiley . I swat team won't break into your room to arrest you. Lol

it is not like law is watching your every move by setting some person follow your moves. when you use your bank to transfer money to a known gambling site then your bank sends them an alert telling them what you did. or for example when you access the website from your computer your ISP raises a flag this is how they put restriction.
5273  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Best online wallet on: June 13, 2016, 12:07:21 PM
I use btc-e.com and never had problems since 2013. They have 2FA as security and you can whitelist the ip's of your choosing. As far as i remember they never gone offline or attacked by hackers. (I may be wrong on this one) Still, online wallets are online and they are not as safe as your core wallet. I wouldn't put my life savings in there.

mt gox, cryptcy, btter,... they all didn't go offline or be attacked before their incidents either. it happens once and that only one time is enough to lose all your money. they can easily close down shop and run away with your money and tell you that they were hacked just like the others did and you can do nothing about it but sit around and look at what you have lost.
5274  Other / Archival / Re: The future of bitcoin... on: June 13, 2016, 12:03:02 PM
so you just change the way you put your message into words? right? every single post of yours is about bitcoin being doomed. back when price was stable with little movements you said this directly by saying it is going to get dumped and reach $100 and now you say the same thing indirectly.

all the while bitcoin is rising directly Cheesy
5275  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: newbie question about sig. camp. on: June 13, 2016, 11:58:16 AM
I asked this in someones thread but i guess its not enough to be seen as it was stilll unanswered. i might as wells as open a new topic.

Some campaigns does not estate that they wont pay if you post on other signature threads. If so, can i post on other campaign threads if there rules has not stated that?? or it is a general rule??tnx.

the general rule is "Do Not Spam" so why do you want to post in another signature campaign thread anyways? when people ask something in those topics they ask the manager not someone who doesn't know the campaign.

also more important than what i said is that you should post as if you are not wearing any signature. so post wherever you want but as long as they are not spam. the manager will exclude your posts that are in those topics.
5276  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello friends.. new guy here! on: June 13, 2016, 11:53:59 AM
all of your options are bad. and some of them are considered even terrible. you should never even call things like HYIP and ponzi schemes as investment , they are simply scams trying to take your bitcoins and run while staying anonymous.

also stay away from cloudmining in general because they are either scams or they are not profitable at all.

and as for selling, you should stop thinking about selling bitcoin and getting out for a quick profit and start looking at what bitcoin really is and how you can use it as a currency.
5277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with 1,5 BTC? on: June 13, 2016, 11:50:41 AM
so far 1.5 bitcoin has gone in price which means it is worth nearly twice the amount it was worth a while back. so now you can really understand why we used to say just hold it if you don't know what to do with it this huge rise and the future rises is what we were all talking about.
5278  Economy / Speculation / Re: Block Reward Halfening 2016 ---> New ATH on: June 13, 2016, 11:46:21 AM
this is just a start, i thought this rise would take much longer to start but i am glad to admit that i was wrong about the timing and see the price rises and market getting so much more exciting once again.

.....the hype back then was huge, compared to now, because not so many people knew about Bitcoin. Today people are informed and they know about the halving, but they know that the bubble will pop at some point, so they will be more careful, because no one wants to be a "bag holder"....

people who knew about bitcoin back then (even if there were much smaller number of people) they know all these things too and they didn't want to be bagholders either.
nothing is changed about how much people know about bitcoin (for better or worse) the only difference is that there are far more people investing in bitcoin which can only mean more money being inserted in.
so $2000 doesn't seem that far away now.
5279  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Read books to get paid? (Paidbooks.com legit or scam) on: June 13, 2016, 11:40:36 AM
meh, the first time i heard about it was a very long time ago, i don't know if you are talking about the same site though, but it was legit. and although i thought it was a cool idea but it really wasn't a good one at all. since you can buy/download those books and read then inside a better environment (like adobe reader even) that a webpage and payment is a joke.
5280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your favorite Bitcoin communities apart from Bitcointalk? on: June 13, 2016, 11:35:41 AM
Reddit - both the r/bitcoin and r/btc subs, plus the r/bitcoinmarkets. r/bitcoinmarkets is superior to bitcointalk when it comes to discussing market movements. On here you get cheerleaders, but on there, actual focus on the trading (up or down).

I love r/bitcoinmarkets too. Decent discussions there. But I love Reddit and the community there generally.

i agree. in general i love reddit and its subs all of them are good. i have never yet seen any sub that is crappy or useless.
i live the dogecoin community /r/dogecoin and also bitcoin /r/bitcoin there is also a jobs4bitcoin sub.

but apart from these there are a lot of other subs like techsupport that i really like because i ask all my technical question there and i always get very good answers (not really bitcoin related but i thought to mention it here since it is very useful)
