Blockchain.info web wallet is on the top of list . But sometimes it gets offline when I need it to send btc or watch block mined. So i have maintained another web wallet on Coinbase and its good. I know there are a lot of wallets available. This is why I want to know your opinion what is the best online Bitcoin wallet, in level of security, protection of our Bitcoins and availability of support.
Blockchain.info since they allow you to have access to your private keys (legacy wallet because new wallet don't allow that) and there is also 2FA which increase the security too. I wouldn't recommend storing in exchanges like Coinbase or Bitstamp etc... Well you can sign message on new webwallet also. Mitchell somewhere posted about it with images. Here is the Mitchell post if anyone wants to know about how to sign a message on new blockchain webwallethttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1206112.msg15041600#msg15041600

I have used most of the Bitcoin online wallets and at the moment I have chosen GreenAddress as my main wallet. It offers an app for mobile devices so you will be able to log in from your phone and it also has a plugin for the Chrome web browser so you have a lot of options to choose from when it comes to logging it and managing your funds. Also I want to mention my favorite feature of this wallet and that is the PIN code which is a string of numbers you could set in for a very quick login when you are in a hurry. You shouldn't be worried about getting compromised because after 3 wrong inputs it disables the PIN code and prompt you for your normal password. The user interface is not cluttered at all and it's designed to be very intuitive. For security and protection you could enable 2 factor authentication and also you can link to 3rd party accounts to check their balances from inside the wallet. All in all a pretty robust online Bitcoin wallet for all your needs

I use btc-e.com and never had problems since 2013. They have 2FA as security and you can whitelist the ip's of your choosing. As far as i remember they never gone offline or attacked by hackers. (I may be wrong on this one) Still, online wallets are online and they are not as safe as your core wallet. I wouldn't put my life savings in there.

With all due respect to you OP, there are already threads like this in the past. If you truly wants to seek it you can search for it. There's no web wallet to be considered as best wallet in terms of "protecting bitcoins" like you stated as one of your criteria of choosing. All web wallets have chance of becoming a fraud one but it doesn't mean they can't be trusted. Just use some of them for a purpose like when saving transaction fees or by means of converting coins. In terms of support availability, I see Coinbase and XAPO has fast response since I already send queries to them many times.

i suggest coinbase, they have 2fa so getting hacked is pretty unlikely. the reason i dont like blockchain is because its too slow. i have to login everytime i want to check the balance. their app sucks. and coinbase has an amazing app. I disagree. Coinbase allows 2FA however and unlike Blockchain.info they don't give you access to your private keys so If they want to run with your funds or they get really hacked/ or goes down for some reason you won't be able to access your funds . If you want to check your balance simply search for your address in the blockchain.info and then bookmark that way you see your balance without connecting into your wallet each time. Coinbase gives customers the option of using a multisig vault. The multisig vault is as safe as a local wallet if you make the election to maintain control of the private keys yourself. Should Coinbase go down you can transfer your funds to another wallet using their open source recovery tool. If you want more security than that offered by the Coinbase Vault you would need to use a hardware wallet like Trezor or Ledger.

I've only known two online wallets, which are blockchain.info and xapo. Blockchain.info used to be an official wallet on the trusted list on bitcoin.org back then but now it's not there anymore.
I don't exactly know the reason for this but I do believe blockchain.info still is a secure wallet. Xapo, on the other hand, is a transaction-free-free online wallet so I'd suggest you use xapo for small and frequent transactions.

mt gox, cryptcy, btter,... they all didn't go offline or be attacked before their incidents either. it happens once and that only one time is enough to lose all your money. they can easily close down shop and run away with your money and tell you that they were hacked just like the others did and you can do nothing about it but sit around and look at what you have lost.

Better for a newbie to try blockchain for first because you can learn and get more knowledge from blockchain and then you can try another wallet, and you can use your experience to choice wallet can make you interested in them.

If your using an online wallet you don't own any bitcoins. All you own is a IOU from an uninsured an unregulated service provider who is controlled by people legally obligated under the law under threat of criminal prosecution to protect the shareholders investments over the users money, your money.

Thank you for your answers. In your opinion, Xapo is enough secure to store Bitcoins?
wallets like Xapo, coinbase are good but there is a problem with them. you don't have access to your private keys so you don't control your bitcoins, they do. this means in case they go under for any reason (bankrupts, fraud,...) you will lose all your money. but wallets like blockchain.info are not like this because you have the private keys. IMPORTANT: online (web) wallets are not secure because they are all susceptible to hack. try to use cold storage instead, if you have many bitcoins. But for small amounts of Bitcoins, online wallets are good. On http://www.blockchain.info, there are transaction fees? there are allot of wallet online but there are allot of wallets who cant be trusted so i would say becareful witch one you want to use and search for trustable ones becasue there are allot online who cant be trusted.
