5261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: May 26, 2021, 07:06:59 AM
I think it's useless that Ethereum has cheaper transaction fees than it was a few weeks ago. But when compared to TRC and BSC it is still more
expensive, crypto users definitely prefer the cheapest. Therefore, like it or not, Ethereum has to find a solution, so that Ethereum transaction fees
are at least not much different from TRC or BSC. But according to the rumors I heard after the Ethereum 2.0 release, the high transaction fees
could be resolved. Hopefully the rumors are true, otherwise Ethereum will be abandoned by its users if the transaction costs do not go down to match
the TRC and BSC fees.

Because these are degens doing defi, they need to do 100 transactions a day so of course they want cheapest. But one day when they want a secure platform and stable network that is decentralized so it doesn't control all the Dapp decisions they have and make, then maybe they'll start to realize nothing comes close to Ethereum yet.
5262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the Bitcoin crash an opportunity to enter the market? on: May 26, 2021, 05:53:03 AM
the answer is very simple, what do you think bitcoin is worth?
if the answer is a price lower than the current price then don't buy. but if you think the bitcoin worth is so much higher than what it is and what it reached a while ago then it is obvious that you should buy now.
unfortunately nobody can give you the answer because it is too obvious and you have to figure it out yourself otherwise next time we see another dip you will be just as confused.

Although, the answer could also be: I think it's lower than the current price, but it will eventually be higher one day, and I don't know if the price will actually go down to match the value. Maybe the value will catch up to price instead some day. So in order to not risk the price never coming down to match the value, I would like to buy it now.Wink
5263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bloodbath! on: May 25, 2021, 06:25:39 PM
Lol? What's the reason for them to convert their alts to btc and then dump their btc? When market crash happened, they were dump their bitcoin, which make btc price down and it make other alt also dump too as all alts are following btc price. So if btc got dump, alt got dump as well, but if alt got dump, btc could be affected too or not.

The same reason we've seen in all the past cycles. Greed and an expectation to make the same easy money over and over again, what else:)

No need to hodl Bitcoin they said. Change it to memecoins and enjoy 100x explosion they said. Bitcoin is dead and dominance is going down they said.

We've all heard it before and we'll all hear it again.
5264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano hit $3? on: May 25, 2021, 02:44:37 PM
I think that people will better to avoid to talk about the future price prediction and they must have talked about how they can get into the market at the dip price.
That means if that better for all of them to speculate about what will be the lowest price that will be reached by ada very soon. I do believe we are in the bearish market now and it's not possible to predict what will be coming very soon.
The market is very bearish at this moment dude and any future price prediction will not happen easily.

Aww come on, if everyone told everyone to stop talking about price predictions then what will this altforum look like? Haha.

Cardano founder talks about price exploding and all alt CEOs like to say to the moon and Twitter influencers also literally taking alts to the moon. If that stops and everyone starts getting serious like Bitcoin, we'll have to close the altcoin section;)
5265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: May 25, 2021, 02:11:22 PM
Lille have been crowned Ligue 1 champions after winning against Angers and this is their first title in 10 years breaking the PSG supremacy where the time from Paris won 2-0 at Brest but needed a slip-up from leaders Lille and that was not forthcoming.
Congratulations to Lille and to those who decided to bet on them winning the leauge.

I almost completely overlooked the last day in French league! Missed all the drama and just saw PSG have nothing to show for this season except the cup. Tuchel will be happier with Chelsea maybe and poor Poch will likely be blamed for losing the title. Well done to Lille! Their keeper also had 23 clean sheets AMAZING.
5266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it so bad that Elon and Saylor are talking with miners about clean energy on: May 25, 2021, 12:50:12 PM
Why are people busting out about the fact Elon and Saylor are talking with minders about reporting their energy mix?

This can only be good for reporting North America’s Bitcoin mining footprint?

And about “centralizing miners”, only large huge miners have a chance at getting a block so it’s already conglomerates mining. How decentralized is mining really? That can’t be the reason. Thoughts?

People need someone to blame. They made bad decisions. They got greedy. They got memecoins. They had a lot of fun and 10x profits that they forgot to realize.

Then now they're seeing it all turn to dust, so of course, they have to look for people to blame. And it's easy to do so with Elon and Saylor etc.

Centralization if it's so important to people, they would realize only Bitcoin is the most decentralized.
5267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: May 25, 2021, 12:19:26 PM
Manchester City have favorite bets from gamblers but Chelsea understand Man City too well. Recent matches between them have better results for Chelsea.

This final match can end with a win for Chelsea if Kante can break the tactics and connections of Manchester City on field. He can do this in his best day and Chelsea will have to put many hope on Kante. Manchester City if fall into the greedy to win, might be trapped by Tuchel and Chelsea.

The key is from Kante and De Bruyne. I know Man City have many stars in their squad but De Bruyne is a hub of their tactic operations.

Kante and de Bruyne exactly. If these two guys perform, their team performs. Their front attacking force aren't really so great, not on their own. Relying totally on the creativity from midfield, and same the defence relying on the snuffing out of attacks also from midfield.

Chelsea's top scorer has 7 goals all from penalties, this is what we are faced with from the Blues:)
5268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: At what point do you stop buying the dip? on: May 25, 2021, 10:43:01 AM
When you don't know anything about where the dip is you shouldn't put all your money for the expectation of buying the dip. Always do your own analysis and don't put all your money in dips. We saw %95 losses on altcoins, you can never be so sure about dips. For BTC 30k looked like a dip but we may see lower prices and when BTC fall down alts fall worse. Buying coins from cheaper prices are always good but it's impossible to guess the dip every time.

Well in that case, nobody will be putting money down on limit orders. That's perfectly fine for traders to not know, hence several limit orders and even in both ways.

You're a trader, you have to predict these scenarios, and you always buy the dip.

Not a trader or not willing to take the risk. Dollar cost average. Easy, simple, and it ALWAYS works:)
5269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 25, 2021, 08:59:42 AM
Seems that Konate is a done deal for Liverpool. Personal terms agreed, release clause will be paid in full, Liverpool is only trying to negotiate better payment terms (in installments rather than upfront).
This probably means Kabak's release clause won't be triggered, meaning he's going to the 2. Bundesliga. Someone will trigger that clause for sure, he's a decent prospect. Happy it's not Liverpool, although I don't rate Konate highly as well.

Wijnaldum looks like he's off to Bayern. Great deal for them, they were thin in midfield.

Liverpool confirmed Konate? That is a big deal, credit to them for getting this right. Their two fill-ins at centerback can't remember their names did well but you could see how nervous they are and not even close to a veteran's professionalism. Solid and calmness? That's totally missing from them.
5270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP is Back on: May 25, 2021, 08:06:10 AM
Back above $1 indeed as I can see it right now. And as some point out, it's been struggling to get above this level for two years.

So again, we should ask, is this really a bear market when BTC is almost 2x ATH, ETH is 2x ATH and XRP is above $1?

It's all a matter of perspective:)
5271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 25, 2021, 07:00:41 AM
Next season I forbid anyone from locking in picks and seeing my shitty picks to laugh at me, one should only laugh at me after everything is done and we see it publicly.

Question for the winners, did you make money betting on La Liga? I actually did this season and would make more if I was not so stubborn to keep betting on my team Barca:)
5272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many people who do not understand Bitcoin slander Bitcoin? on: May 25, 2021, 06:29:36 AM
Get used to it. Do you know that also in the rally or every bull run, a lot more people who do not understand Bitcoin also say false things about it?

We take the positive easily yet we do not take the negative as easily. We have to learn to live with both in the end because they actually exist in equal measure, just we only hear the bad shit when it's a down market like now.
5273  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Welcome back to the Premier League- Watford FC!! 🚀 on: May 24, 2021, 04:02:56 PM
I open my account just recently, I'm surprised that the site already has a chat feature, when was that added?
That's cool stuff actually, like other gambling sites, they have chat features and I'm glad Sportsbet added it.

It's been getting so busy there lately it's hard for me to catchup.

So many good things happening, also to add I won a freebet on their Arsenal/Southampton giveaway promo almost every week;)

EURO outright special going on today guys! I go for SPAIN 9.56 with Boost:) Netherlands special looks so tempting but I think I will keep to Spain.

Question: If I place outright on more than one team, can I get freebets for all the teams that win?
5274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again? on: May 24, 2021, 03:40:27 PM
It's better to dump the DOGE now until we can't time will come that whales will dump, it will easily drop below $0.1.
The price at the moment is $0.323 with 39% drop in the last 7 days, that is something bad, DOGE is struggling together with the other altcoins.
I've dumped all Dogecoin I hold before it dropped too much, and fortunately, I didn't lose too much on it. I think it's hard to pump dogecoin now as it's getting more issue because of Elon Musk.
Since bitcoin keeps getting down, many altcoins are being affected by it, and one of them is dogecoin. And I'm not sure, but I feel it will go down below $0.2

Well if you guys dump, I'll be very happy. I don't have any DOGE now except for the small amounts I do have in casino balances but if you want, please, welcome to sell. DOGE below 100 satoshi would be very welcome for me so I can start taking more of them into my wallet to keep my few lonely doges company;)

Strange yet exciting times for DOGE hodlers!
5275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a Chinese, talk about my views on the new policy on: May 24, 2021, 03:00:55 PM
I remember one post about Bitcoin which I really agree with and which a lot of people could do to see the different point of view. Bitcoin is not about taking your money out of your country, but about taking your country out of your money.

This is why countries like CHINA and USA can never live in harmony with Bitcoin.

With crypto, maybe. Some are okay to have some govt control. But not Bitcoin.
5276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 24, 2021, 01:59:19 PM
A German press report said today, Saturday, that there are developments related to the destination of the Dutch midfielder Jorginho Wijnaldum, next summer.

I've said it before and I still say it again. I don't think he's a good fit, just like Coutinho wasn't. I really wish we'd stop getting players who look impressive for Liverpool because our styles are so completely different. I love his style don't get me wrong but he needs high tempo players around him for it to work, which is why he did so well for Liverpool.

I mean, if he comes at least we won't be paying anything for him on the free transfer:P
5277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unaddressed Bitcoin FUD on: May 24, 2021, 01:11:40 PM
We can already see the answers to your questions actually just looking back at the past few years.

1. When governments ban trading, people go p2p and underground. See India and see China. People trade on whatsapp, on telegram even on yahoo messenger or wechat:)
2. Governments cannot even coordinate the war on money laundering, so forget crypto bans. They all want different things and understand crypto differently too!
3. BTC has succeeded as a global payment solution. Just look at this forum in economics section.
5278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 24, 2021, 11:55:09 AM
Superbru did not work at all for me the whole of yesterday for any pool. So I think we need to remind each other that picks should be entered way early especially on big days like final matchday. Not that I would benefit from changing anything of course just I was annoyed to not be able to check if I filled everything on all the pools:)

Congrats again everyone!
5279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MemeCoins becoming the new Shitcoins on: May 24, 2021, 11:23:29 AM
It's definitely gonna stay, any memecoin that got listed in popular exchange like binance or coinbase definitely gonna stay but the question is, will the demand still exist? Shiba didn't have their own mainnet and the swap defi they offered looks generic
while doge demand purely coming out of speculation driven by elon's opinion as well. I doubt these meme coin could reach the ATH again since reaching the previous ath already make many people goes broke, it's like gambling after all and an usustainable ones at that.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Binance and Coinbase are known to delist things. Coinbase took down XRP before remember and Binance has taken down hundreds of tokens after the ICO failures of 2017 so we know for sure being listed once doesn't guarantee a long life.

DOGE is safe, that's always there and was there before the hype but I won't be surprised to see SHIBA disappear.
5280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE VERY TRAGIC MOMENT IN FUTURES TRADE HAPPEN AGAIN. on: May 24, 2021, 11:04:34 AM
This is all good advice and most people know it, but the issue for me lies even further back than this. And this is in the expectation setting. Expectations are all completely wrong. They see it as money making and profit and stuff.

They can always seek knowledge (I actually doubt skill because you can't really learn to be proficient in trading, just in using trading tools) but if you don't solve the expectation issue they'll always get it wrong right from the start.
