5281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: January 01, 2016, 09:07:43 PM
I think altcoins are generally good for Bitcoin, people do not get into altcoins before getting into Bitcoin first, I think.
They might have somewhat of an influence on the price though.
5282  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term OIL on: December 30, 2015, 05:09:19 PM
I don't see how oil could prices could rise to near $200 in the really long term.
I'm not really knowledgeable on this subject, but it would seem pretty counter-intuitive to me that demand for oil will continue to rise in the next 100 years or so.
5283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much you lost money in gambling? on: December 25, 2015, 09:12:06 PM
I lost $20 once and stopped. Gambling is for idiots IMO
i agree with you
gambling is a scam and kills you and your future
Pretty ignorant statement. Legit Gambling services are not a scam. You know that you risk your money if you gamble and can lose it all.
No one promises you certain win. You have choice - gamble to try to win money fast or not risk anything.
Yeah I agree with that. It's just good fun when you're doing it for pleasure and if you're not prone to addiction.
Just remember that the house always wins in the long run Wink

I have not lost more than I could afford to lose at the time, simple as that.
5284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Work colleagues laugh at me getting into Bitcoin on: December 25, 2015, 09:10:01 PM
Yeah, I think that it's just better not to mention it in some situations.
Especially when dealing with people who are not at all interested in technology.
5285  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Should I choose random faucet drips or average? on: December 25, 2015, 09:06:29 PM
Obligatory don't waste your time with faucets.
But if you're using faucets anyway, I would just gamble every time. Nothing to lose right? Except you time that is Wink

Unable to decode output address

What does that mean? Apart from the obvious.
It is an OP_RETURN output so it the output doesn't go to an address.
What happens to the coins in question then? Just stuck in limbo or what?

Here's a link to the transaction btw:

5289  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: December 25, 2015, 08:56:01 PM
Based on my country trend, I would like to list out some passive income possibilities.

1. Fixed deposits
2. Renting out property.
3. Non-working partnership in business

Online and bitcoin based ways....
5. Referral system in PTC sites and bitcoin faucets.
6. Lending
7. Cloud mining

I guess you have forgot gambling and HYIP programs to include. I accept both are having huge risk for our investments. But the reward is also at same levels. Sometimes HYIP programs are referred as ponzi but gambling is not like that. If you love taking risk, you can try these for passive income.

[/quote]
I'd steer clear from HYIP's as well, they're basically just ponzi schemes. You'll end up losing everything.
5290  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for Best Christmas Casino Promos/Bonuses... on: December 25, 2015, 08:53:23 PM
Crypto-games has some awesome promotions going on if you check out the chat on their website. they're giving free BTC to active members in the chat.
No strings attached, meaning no need to bet it a gazillion times Wink
5291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't let bitcoin overtake your soul on: December 25, 2015, 08:51:50 PM
You were basically just gambling there and you lost, not the fault of Bitcoin, just addiction to the thrill of solo mining and taking huge risks imo.
At least you learned a lesson, albeit an expensive one.
5292  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: December 23, 2015, 12:02:30 PM
I don't have any passive income at the moment but i would like to have.
Many people count referal as passive income and this is what most of the people want to reach.
Is passive income holding the bitcoin for a long time, passive but not guaranteed that i will earn.

Have you not read what everyone has said on this topic. There is no such thing as passive income. For example if you make a dice website, you have to spend time making it, only then can you make some kind of income.

But if your dice site is already established and you have the capabilities to hire a site manager then you would have that 'passive income.'
Or say you spend some time building a website that brings in revenue through Google Adsense + affiliate earnings, I'd consider that passive income too if you're earning without putting any more work into it.
5293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much you lost money in gambling? on: December 23, 2015, 11:58:21 AM
I have ever lost almost 1 BTC, its a straight lose for 7 time, luckily after almost 1 BTC my friends drag me aside and told me to stay away from computer, if at that time my friends dont drag i Probably will lose more than that

but now i played gamble with slow pace and for information the 1 BTC i almost lose it is also earn from gambling

Lucky, that means you have a good friend that support you. Will playing in the computer with gambling is fun.
Next time you should go out with your friend playing some games in a real casino. That is more fun.
Yeah, it's always handy when someone's got your back in those kind of scenarios. Though most of the time you'd be gambling alone, without friends present.
The most I have lost in one session was around 0.50 BTC, I stopped gambling for a few months after that Smiley
5294  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - 2016 on: December 23, 2015, 11:56:03 AM
Well, the only certainty we have is that halving will occur, if the price will adjust itself is still something that has yet to be seen.
5295  Economy / Economics / Re: 1milion € from Btc? on: December 23, 2015, 11:54:42 AM
Simply invest in altcoins. Although they are mostly a gamble right now, they are extremely profitable if you look at them, and study and predict well. I personally am too lazy and unlucky to work with altcoins, I just work with bitcoin trading.

very risk, i would invest only in the well known altcoin, like dash, monero, litecoin, and doge, and maybe ethereum, the other it's like a dice game
Yeah I'd have to agree, most altcoins are so unstable at the moment, you could end up losing a big chunk of that investment.
And to answer OP, go with a reputable exchange, Kraken should be fine and contact their support.

Ask if you could Skype with someone and try to come to an arrangement that way.
5296  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM | No.1 for Cryptocurrency Gambling | Provably Fair | 3 BTC BONUS on: December 21, 2015, 04:03:14 PM
How long does it generally take for deposits to appear in the account?
I've deposited a few DASH and after an hour and 10+ confirmations, I don't see anything in my account?

It should appeared already at your account. If it doesnt appear at your account, try to logout first then login again and sometimes that will solve the problem. If it hasnt appeared yet then contact them through support because they always responses fast  Smiley
Logging out and logging in again didn't work, I've contacted support but they haven't gotten back to me yet.
I have included the deposit address etc.

5298  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for "How to do x with Bitcoin" Article Writers on: December 20, 2015, 03:41:24 PM
I'd write one on how to create a simple web shop, using Wordpress and GoUrl, that accepts Bitcoin as a payment method.
It would be around 750 words or more, with screenshots. I'm not a native speaker, but you can review my post history to see if my English skills are sufficient.

Hoping the topic isn't too niche for your website though, but I'd love to write about something that's somewhat technical.

I'm estimating it would take me about 2 days to write, if I squeeze it in between some other projects.

Your English seems to be just fine in this post. I'd be more than happy to add your wordpress + gourl article to the site. I'm sure it would help a lot of future web developers and would be great for increasing the scope of our community.
Will get started on it tomorrow, had a pretty busy weekend Smiley
I'll get it proofread by a friend who happens to be a linguist (native speaker), pretty sure she'll do it for free.
