5281  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If I want to explain to a 10 years boy.what is blockchain?How should I explain? on: February 01, 2020, 04:54:58 PM
Except if the child has an interest in blockchain, but I don't know what the chances are for a child to have such interest when there's so much kid stuff for him or her to get busy and "dirty" with. Other than the child's inquisitive interest, I feel it's wrong to bore a child with something as complex as the blockchain technology.

There's a slight chance that if you introduce a child that early to what blockchain means, before they grow, he or she may with time lose interest in it due to how they perceived or understood it when they were younger, not knowing that our levels of understanding differs as we grow in age.
5282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun and Corona Virus on: February 01, 2020, 04:35:51 PM
If he's contributing or donating to assist those who have been hit by this virus, then don't you think he's not doing anything wrong, even if he's doing a veil and subtle marketing through that process. It not really ethical to advertise with something as serious as this, but the help rendered is enough to overshadow that.

Popular people cannot really do something and it'll go unnoticed, even if it wasn't intended, maybe sun actually didn't have any intentions to market his coin, or maybe he did.
5283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Electroneum on: February 01, 2020, 03:18:05 PM
I have not bought electroneum coin, neither did I participate in their initial coin offering, but I have friends who mine this coin through their app and earn very little amount of it for free, for me it's a waste of time, but for them they see it as a means of earning the coin for absolutely nothing, as it mines automatically and for them it's better than nothing.

Many users have this fulsome belief that the coin would grow into something very high in the future, but I'm not going to believe that about any altcoin again, when i was active with altcoins, I also had those beliefs, but they never turned out to be true.
5284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 01, 2020, 01:07:29 PM
Leicester - Chelsea is the most interesting game today.
Well, I'm watching this match and it's over 40 minutes gone, and contrary to what you thought, the match is anything but interesting, very drab game with the both teams struggling to get a foot hold on the game, both teams losing possession cheaply and can't even play out comfortably. Vardy had one chance, that should be the best chance of the game, but it was saved by caballero who started today ahead of Arizabalaga.

I just hope this game gets better in the second half, both managers need to get their players to play better, for now it's not just top class football imo.
I believe that this game is going to end up as draw.
With the way the first half is going, this could be the outcome after 90 minutes.
5285  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How is it possible to write a small picture next to the profile name? on: January 30, 2020, 05:06:45 PM
I don't think a picture like that can be added after the account has been created, just as its impossible to edit or change usernames except through a PM to theymos. I'm not so sure but I think a picture like that can only be added as of the time the account was created.
5286  Economy / Economics / Re: $900K worth of counterfeit U.S. currency seized on: January 30, 2020, 02:03:04 PM
Even the US government I'm very sure would be investigating this issue to find out if there's any conspiracy in this, there may not be, but for a country like the United States of America that relies and values their Economy, they wouldn't be taken this likely or for granted. China as a country may just be popular for producing fake products just like this one, maybe it's nothing serious.

I do not think the Chinese government has anything to gain "waging a trade war" against the US, except they release a statement claiming otherwise, or that will unravel it all.
5287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 30, 2020, 10:47:08 AM
I can say they are the best team in EPL in the last decade...
How can they be the best team in the EPL in the last ten years, this is just their first Epl title in over 30 years, they are the best team in the league this season and that just that. The best team in the Epl in the last decade if we're to judge based on trophies as it should be so would either be city or Chelsea, they have both won the Epl three times since 2010, while Manchester United have won it twice since then, though they won it thrice in a row before 2010, this are the best teams in the last decade in the Epl.
De Gea always tries to give his best and he really is a good goalkeeper but for past some weeks defense is not helping him out there in field. Somewhere he does some mistake but overall if we see he is someone who has been crucial all the time.
Goalkeepers have a very difficult job to do, and only very few goalkeepers do their jobs better than David de gea, it's difficult to find a goalkeeper who doesn't make mistakes, there is no such keeper really, and with a tighter defense De gea would even excel more than he's doing right now.
Bruno Fernandes seems to be like almost a done deal?
Yes, it seems so, I hope Manchester United are able to utilize his talent, they have bought many quality players in the last years who have turned out flops.
5288  Other / Meta / Re: MY PERSONAL TRAD on: January 30, 2020, 06:16:20 AM
Are you advertising for mr Walter Arrav, or are you affiliated with him in any way, no "expert" can teach you how to buy, trade, sell correctly for you to make profits. No one should believe this story, it has falsehood written all over it. Just the same way those youtube and signals you paid for were laden with fake predictions is the same way you're telling us about your fake 30-50% profits.
5289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 29, 2020, 11:10:18 AM
Tottenham Vs Manchester City is one of the must watch games of the weekend and it's a renewing of the rivalry between Jose Mourinho and pep Guardiola, both managers have had to square off against each other numerous times, sometimes in frosty and even violent situations especially when they both coaches the two LA liga giants: Barcelona and Real Madrid.

In England though, pep has had it his way more times when Mourinho was coach of Manchester United. City are in good form, and that can't be said of Mourinho and spurs, I expect Manchester City to beat spurs and for pep to increase his bragging rights against Jose Mourinho.
5290  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Trading Bot For Multiple Exchanges on: January 29, 2020, 09:56:29 AM
I have a friend that uses his own bots for trading. He mentioned while there are days of profits, the opposite also happens.
And many other people also use it, some get lucky few times and make profits from it, this leads them to believe that such bots works and are always correct, but the truth is that none can be correct everytime, since it is just a programmed bot.

I don't trade with bots, but I wouldn't advice anyone not to, just learn and read all you need to know about trading bots before you start using it, and understanding that truly it's not certain to give you profits as many users feel.
5291  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why KYC is extremely dangerous – and useless on: January 29, 2020, 09:32:29 AM
There are a lot of people who do not know how dangerous KYC can be when carried out on the wrong platform or on sketchy or dubious establishment. Newbies would help themselves if they read this post, take it seriously, not just reading it, but doing what is required of them to evade KYC scammers.

Many users have given their KYC information when they were new, and though they have long stopped that, but who knows, for now it may not have had any repercussion, but it may later on since nobody knows where and in whose hands those documents are in now, so newbies should not make that same mistake.
5292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 29, 2020, 05:30:48 AM
Milan's victory was quite good despite having extra time too but Milan have started to show their best results in the quarter-finals and now meeting Juventus in the SemiFinal is a very tough opponent for Milan.
Milan has really improved, and they must continue that way and build up momentum, even for next season. Winning a silverware could do the trick for them and they are in the semifinal of the coppa Italian, the only bad news now is that they have to face Juventus.

Milan must find a way to win this game and make it to the final, they have been left in the drought for a very long time, now they must take this tournament like its their last, Juve have always been winners, Milan fans would hope they get a little bit complacent so their team could capitalize on that.
5293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: On most altcoins disappearing on: January 28, 2020, 09:41:27 PM
What my mind tells me is that if majority or almost all of the shitcoins disappear, then it will be positive news for the "altcoin" market, since there will be limited altcoins and investors that have lost money and are still losing money when they are searching for good projects will have good options to choose from to invest in.

But the bitcoin may not benefit from the elimination of shitcoins, bitcoins controls the market imo and the altcoins market doesn't have too much influence on the bitcoin, I think we should be more inquisitive about if bitcoin crashes, what becomes of altcoins.
5294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 the year of Bitcoin technology getting accepted by governments on: January 28, 2020, 08:45:11 AM
If you say 2020 will be the year of the blockchain technology, not that it's correct, but it may just turn out to be true, but that wouldn't then make it bitcoins year. Many governments and businesses would use the bitcoin network this year and will continue to use it, but that wouldn't make them adopt bitcoin as a cryptocurrency for their use

It's also vise versa, my country is developing, but bitcoiners are growing massively here, but other than being used for bitcoin protocols, the blockchain technology isn't used at all.
5295  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie, BTT Rating. on: January 27, 2020, 11:45:47 PM
My thought was that ranking is directly proportional to the time and Number of quality posts.
Your thoughts aren't wrong by the way, time can mean activity, and that's baesd on how often you post, if you do not post at all, you'll not rank up. Quality posts gets merits, so this also covers that part, merits are given to quality posts and those merits are what enables you to rank up. So on your thoughts, If you spend your time on the forum making quality posts then you'll rank up.
Hi guys.
I just join this platform not quiet long.
Just one month ago and your post history "reads" bounty reports only.
5296  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3 smart ways to bet on the upcoming bitcoin halvening with options on: January 27, 2020, 11:08:30 PM
There are two kinds on investor  short and long then there is a trader. As for me I am short ter investor and for a person like me halving is the right time to accumulate till end of April and then sell.
I can only understand your situation and what you feel towards this forthcoming bitcoin event, this is the first bitcoin halving I've experienced as a bitcoin trader/investor, and I've read so much positive information about it in the past and I know you have too, and that's the reason why you wish to accumulate bitcoins till that period and sell immediately afterwards.
I'll also buy bitcoins as I've been doing for sometime now, I'll closely be watching the period before and after the halving, this network can really be tricky, I would not do what I wouldn't ordinarily do, like buying "more than my pocket" and I wouldn't be selling immediately.
5297  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimizing the risk- How much possible it is? on: January 27, 2020, 10:40:43 PM
Are we safe to say investing on both these coins are minimizing the risk
No, with my understanding of trading, investing in two altcoins isn't minimizing the risk, you can research on two altcoins and yet they turn out to be shitcoins. Investing in many altcoins raises the risk of losses because I don't trust altcoins diversification as they are so many and you cannot pick out the one that will be the right one for your investment plans.
I have got this site providing correlation of different altcoin against bitcoin- https://coinpredictor.io/altcoins
Can this site be trusted, do you think a trader can invest based on their predictions?
5298  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin's price could crash soon by 20%? on: January 27, 2020, 06:27:27 AM
Many times you can not trust the information of this type of articles,
I would even go as far as saying they aren't to be trusted all of the times, looking through most of their articles that they mostly post here about either a bitcoin rise and fall you'll understand that they just predict without even having any facts or without any proper research, this just creates FUD for those who've not been bitcoin investors for a very long time and may not know that they have nothing to worry about.

What OP's article predicts could happen, but it's good for users, especially newbies to know that's it's only but speculations, and that the fall could also welcome a rise in the price, so people do not panic and sell.

5299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 26, 2020, 02:22:07 PM
Good ol' Inter is back!...To those who don't know, this has been Inter for the past few years, first half of the season they're fighting for the top spot, then everyting's starts to fall apart as soon as the 2nd half of the season begins  Roll Eyes
I thought conte would be able to change all that, fight till the end and bring win the title with inter, but none of that looks like happening for them, they are capitulating slowly and I wouldn't be too surprised if juventus wins the title with over 8-10 points gap at the end of the season.

All inter can pray for now is for Napoli to do them a favor and beat juventus today, if that happens, then it's a 3 point lead and still recoverable for inter Milan, but we all know Juve would see this game out later today.
5300  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Can A Trader in this Business Protect Themselves Against Volatility Risk? on: January 26, 2020, 12:34:17 PM
The only way a trader can avoid volatility with bitcoin is if the market itself becomes stable and involatile, but for now, it's not. So many users have asked this question, how can you avoid loss in a volatile market: Since you cannot predict what will happen when investing, using funds you can afford to lose is advisable, since volatility is beyond your control, controlling the amount of funds that'll either be giving you profit or loss is a good strategy to reduce the effects of volatility.

Stop loss also helps a trader to maintain a minimal amount of loss and inevitable volatility, you can try using the feature, and set it up based on your preference, but if you want a stable market, then cryptocurrency trading isn't for you.
