5281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto whales hacked, lost $15M BTC and $30M BCH on: February 22, 2020, 09:07:26 AM
We really don't know if this is really true, if it is, then that is a huge lost for him.

So his wallet is on the phone? Definitely he is not an expert, Lmao. Seriously though, this is another black eye news for crypto enthusiast, just by looking at the amount that guy lost it's really disheartening.

Another good lesson for those who have tons of crypto's around, invest on a hardware wallet.
5282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It doesn't look like on: February 21, 2020, 03:44:29 PM
It doesn't look like Bitcoin is going to go over 10k plus till May gets here, I think what we will keep seeing is rise and fall between 8k and 10k, the best way is to keep taking profit, buying low and reselling over and over, Im just worried what will happen once halving is over and the Almighty Halving Hype died off, there is nothing making the price surge presently than this upcoming halving, what do you think?

The price of bitcoin is around $9500, and that is just $500 to $10k, so I think it's plausible that we can go to that 5 digits again prior to May. Maybe this is just a correction, as we have seen it this month already.

Although there is a positive for those who are waiting for the price to go below 5 digits so that they can buy prior to the bitcoin halving in May, we will see how it goes.
5283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to easily keep track of ETH wallets/transactions/tokens on: February 21, 2020, 02:42:52 PM
It is good if you have multiple wallets.
However if you have just a few addresses,  you can just bookmark them on ether scan so you can keep track of your shitcoins.

Yes, this one, bookmark it and check if you are waiting for some bounty or expecting coins to go to your wallet. So I don't used telegram bots, actually it was my first time to hear that. Maybe I'm just old school so I still go with that traditional way of checking my wallet.

But the guide that the OP is good though, but maybe it's not for everyone.
5284  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving 2020 prediction! on: February 21, 2020, 02:04:32 PM
Personally I don't discard this possibility! Wink

I guess everyone has the same outlook as yours, we wanted to see the price goes to the moon again, if we ever see an eventually bull-run right after the halving.

But you have to remember that we won't see a big jump overnight, as it make take some time to fully see the price going into another all-time-high. And getting into a new all-time-high might take some time though, as compare to the last bull run. So what we need to do? Patience, and be control of our emotions as we might go to a series of retracement every time before we can finally achieve the peak price of bitcoin.
5285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Assess your gambling addiction level. on: February 21, 2020, 01:38:31 PM
I would say that I was in the level 7 once, I have a high paying job, but it seems that I'm not contented, did not save but usually spend time in the gambling casino's around my place. Until the time that I lost my job, lost my business, and almost lost my family as well.

But I have amend my ways in the last three years, no more many hours in gambling, and just play to have some fun. And I just gamble what I can afford to lose.
5286  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bot for beginner? on: February 18, 2020, 09:46:46 PM
I will echo the sentiments of more experience traders here.

Bot are not for beginners, you need to have basic to intermediate knowledge of trading before you can fully understand how a bot works. Well you can get one, however, it will take you some time to familiarize yourself with the bot setting that might cost you money to lose in the short run. You can put that money to trade it yourself and once you gain the experience and some knowledge then probably you can try any bots out there.
5287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum About to Break Out of a 2-Year Bear Market? on: February 18, 2020, 12:52:42 PM
Yes, ETH should exit the bear market because ETH has only positive news and a few updates ahead which will clearly have a positive impact on ETH and its price.

I agreed if ETH had to get out of the bear market. but is there a guarantee if the ETH price will continue to have a positive impact over a long period of time?
I see now this ETH movement in the market continues to increase.

Just imagine if you have bought Ethereum at its lowest last year around $80 if I'm not mistaken and just HODL on it, but this time it's a sure profit already.

However, we all know that it can still go on an upward trend this 2020, and we breaking away from the long bearish trend second quarter of 2018 up to 2019.
5288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 18, 2020, 12:13:36 PM
Does anybody still interested on rematch?  Grin
That depends on what will happen in the match this coming scheduled fight, actually what we are going to see is already a rematch, if there is another fight after the rematch, we will be seeing a trilogy.  I maybe interested but like I said, depending on what I will witness in the rematch.
The first match end up a controversial draw, so this is a fight to determine who really wins that which I assume it will not again end up a draw.

Let's say Fury would win, of course Wilder would want another shot, and since the fight generated a good amount of sales so another fight happen, and if in the next fight it will be Wilder that will win, so we might see a maximum of 4 fights for this one,... that's too boring IMO, just give other boxers a chance to prove they can also compete with the big names, not with these fighters only for the sake of generating more money.

The only competitive fighters outside of the two is Anthony Joshua, so we may want to see the winner fight AJ instead of another rematch in my opinion.

This will make the three best heavyweight fighters trying to proved amongst themselves who is the best. And then make other heavyweight to chase them so that that division lit up again, just like in the 80's and early 90's.
5289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum updates on: February 18, 2020, 11:50:03 AM
I don't think it would hit $300 at the end of February however your analyzation might have a point the volume of sellers are declining the market, if your analyzation came true there's a chance that it would not just reach $300 but also $400 however it might not happen at the end of February since it's impossible to have a bullish trend in a matter of days but we can't predict the market and anything is impossible in a decentralized market.

We can't never tell. Remember there's so much resistance around $200, $230 and $250 and yet Ethereum just slice those barrier very easily. So I wouldn't be surprised if it touches $300 this February. Confidence seems to be back with Ethereum so we might get to that price sooner or later.

Besides, the whole crypto seems to be bouncing back, specially bitcoin. So if we see bitcoin getting into 5 digits again, no doubt that Ethereum might follow the trend.
5290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright: A Very Wrong Person on: February 18, 2020, 09:11:01 AM
I think we should let him be in his "fantasy" land, people like Craig is a pathological liar so no matter what people do, he will won't back down or simply admit his lying.

For sure, majority really knows what personality Craig has and won't simply believed those exorbitant claims, like he is Satoshi. Maybe those beginners might, but they will soon realised their mistakes and move away from him.
5291  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's over $9000! on: February 17, 2020, 11:20:24 PM
hey look !, if $ 9000 is the end I don't believe it, now I see the price of Bitcoin recovering again above $ 10,000, and this makes me feel happy and you will definitely feel it, this will be a long bullish trend for bitcoin before halving

I assume you didn't noticed the date when the OP posted this on January 28 which Bitcoin was struggling to touch the $9,000 level. So, the $9,000 level was definitely and obviously not the end of the line.
While Bitcoin is again struggling for days now to stay at the $10,000 level. But I'm hopeful this won't take long and we'll see a $11,000 soon.
The correction is not over yet, the market is still on red, so let's see what would happen if the bleeding would stop.
Currently, btc priced now at $9600, and we are in a descending mode right now for 2 days already, but hopefully this will stop and bounce back to $10,000 again and I am sure that time there's a great chance of pumping to $11,000 (slowly but surely).

Sadly, it is happening so I guess we really need to hold on today and wait for the market to bounce back again.

I thought that we will have a good bounce after this correction, but it seems that the market is still going down. So that $11k mark is a big barrier, no wonder there are so called experts pointing out that we will eventually go on a downward after breaching $10k. It's still a long way to go, no need to be nervous or panic, I'm sure that the price will recover soon.
5292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Deal with worst Market on: February 17, 2020, 10:45:43 PM
Sometime this is very painful when we are expecting a very positive, a very aggressive market but suddenly we see the whole market have crashed and all panic selling start. Here is what we need to do,

  • Sell our Coins and be safe
  • Wait for a little bounce back and exit
  • Let it be and remain Relax

I think your tip is somewhat late though, I mean the worsening market conditions is around 2018-2019 and this year it seems that we are having a good bounce because investors restoring their faith again.

So basically what we need to do now is to continue to invest on the top 10 altcoins and then continue to hold. No need to panic as this point, patience is the key here.
5293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE CEO goes on CNN , attacks Bitcoin on: February 17, 2020, 09:53:06 PM
This is good for bitcoin
Bitcoin is on CNN,  for free

New people are now going to search about it on google.

On the contrary, yes, this is really good for bitcoin being exposed on CNN, there could be curious minds watching and going to search what bitcoin is all about and who knows, maybe those are the fresh blood that we all have been waiting to push the price again.

As for the Ripple CEO, it's pretty obvious that he will shill for his project, just like anybody.
5294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has been the most memorable Bitcoin upgrade to date? on: February 17, 2020, 02:24:15 PM
I don't know if there are people still around here who remember this,

Strange block 74638.

But I guess recently, I would go with the Segwit. But there are a lot in the line, if I'm not mistaken.

1. Schnorr Signature
2. Taproot proposal
5295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 17, 2020, 01:27:23 PM
Do you think that a Fury would beat a prime Tyson?

Quote
"Me vs. Tyson in '86, I'd kick the hell outta that guy. Listen, I've got to keep it real. I know people always go back to the old school or look at the new school and there's no school where I'm not No. 1 on earth," Wilder said.

https://www.boxingscene.com/mike-tyson-reacts-wilders-prediction-beating-him--146808

I agree with Lennox Lewis reaction on that article, I mean a prime Tyson in the mid 80's is like an animal destroying everyone in his path, including any version of Fury, in my opinion.

To be honest, the height difference between these two would be absolutely mental.

Fury is like 6ft 9, and Tyson was 5ft 9.

I'm not sure Tyson could overcome that weight, height, reach advantage etc.

That said, Fury's body would get absolutely worked in that fight, that's for sure. Would love to see have seen it happen.

It's not really Fury who said that in that article but it was Wilder but for me both fighters cannot beat Tyson on his prime, both fighters did not face fighters that Tyson knock out in his prime, there is only one baddest boxer of all time and that's Mike Tyson.

I agree, neither Fury or Wilder will have a chance against a prime Mike Tyson, If I'm not mistaken, Mike also fought a lot of taller guys (but not as tall as Fury), and Tyson did demolished them in a couple of rounds.

No need to make this fantasy fights though, I think whoever says did are just hyping the rematch. And as what we always says in sports, different era's, so can't really compare them.
5296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to BNB after 5 years? on: February 17, 2020, 12:52:07 PM
What happens to BNB coin after 5 years? Because then you get no discount anymore? Then what is the purpose of BNB anymore?

5 years is a long time, maybe the price will fall, or it will enjoy the support of crypto enthusiast. I don't understand though what do you mean by discount? As far as I know, they have this sort of quarterly burning of it's token, so that alone might push the price in the future, but still we can't really tell at this point.

Currently, it's worth ~$40 million, so that's a lot of money already, so if in the next 5 years, Binance remain on top of the crypto exchange competition, maybe just maybe it will grow.
5297  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is DeFi anything? on: February 17, 2020, 10:48:16 AM
From the look of things, it will be a profitable sector for investors and traders during the next altcoin/token bubble. That's my primary interest.

Correct, this is one hype, similar to the ICO craze of 2017, during the bull-run.

So we might hear about this whole Defi ecosystem once the market started on another bull-run. I'm still looking at it today,  and it really seems to be profitable for investors who have huge capital to begin with.

But for average joe's like us, bitcoin is still the best alternative, I mean it is the only defi before we ever heard "defi".
5298  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: February 16, 2020, 09:59:49 PM
Many bigger investor are in Binance exchange they will pump when listing new coin there, but although binance have worth with bigger investor you must be careful when investing with new coin after listing more than several day because price down and hard to get back on higher price, just investing with potential coin.

Exactly, most of the investors are mainly focusing on investing in Binance exchange because I hope a lot of people of trusting this Binance exchange. Most of the whales used to pump their desired coin and it will surely help many other people to make a decent profit. I hope Binance one of the best exchange for trading the coins.

It's not about trust, Binance has been hacked already so why would you trust them? It's about Binance liquidity, in my opinion that's why many traders are still with them ever since the beginning of that exchange. And even though it's decentralised as hell, people tend to go there because almost all coins are listed in Binance.

But there are a lot of good exchanges as well, specially DEX that traders need to look at specially this 2020.
5299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jessie Vargas vs Mikey Garcia on: February 16, 2020, 01:01:45 PM
I was really surprised that there's no hype surrounding this fight, anyway, it was reported that Vargas and Garcia will be fighting for the WBC 'Diamond' Belt.

It's because the boxing world is awaiting for the Fury vs Wilder rematch. That's why there's no media attention on this fight. Besides, with Garcia coming off from a lost to Errol Spence and then Jessie Vargas somewhat lost in the 147 lbs division, it's really hard to promote this fight.

So for me, this two are just B-side boxers to the growing list of top welterweights around.

Yes, it was just a bad schedule, I guess. And it seems there's no animosity or drama between the two that's why boxing fans are not into it. We all know that most of the times we wanted to see fight that has some controversy between the two.

And we haven't heard anything leading up to the promotions of the fights. Although we can argue that the supporting bouts has some good fighters in it, not enough to generate buzz, in my opinion.
5300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BLAME THE INVESTOR FOR LOOSING NOT THE CRYPTO ECOSYSTEM on: February 16, 2020, 11:45:08 AM
Well there are really investors here who don't DYOR, they just listen to social media influencers and they've been suckered by this bad actors and then blame the ecosystem for it. And I do hope that they will learn their lessons once they got scammed by ICO's.

And the thing is that we didn't stop from preaching this, but still people are falling for this trick because they are either too lazy or doesn't equipped themselves with enough knowledge. And then you will hear them bitch around this community, LMAO.
